I enjoyed the movie a lot more than I thought I would. The only caveat is that it is filmed in the handheld camera style, so if you are susceptible to such things it can make you feel a little whoopsy. The special effects were awesome though!

So the nauseua factor was running a bit high on the movie, Carrie? :) That hand held camera thing gets to the stomach afterwhile.
Someone said "The Blair Witch Project" looked like the camera was attached to the back of a seal and turned loose for 2 hours, and then it crawled into a canvas bag for the last 30 minutes.

I am going to say what I think, and I am sure it is going to offend some that think Gerard walks on water but I think that Gerard did treat her like that. The thing is ok....how many of you would not have taking a chance to get with him if you could have? Be honest! So ya she may have chased after him, and she admitted that in that whole story. At least she is being honest. Now he is a grown man and should have at least thought this through if he thought they were not compatible or whatever, at least wayyyyy before he finally said it! To be honest, I think that he only broke up with her because he met up with Lyn Z when he was touring and then realized he liked her. So he ended it. Yes Lyn Z was touring the same area he was when he broke up with Eliza, so for all that think he met her Linkin Park tour than it is not true. Look it up. You will see they were touring in the same vicinity during that time. So...lets be fair. She just opened up and tried to show her side. I felt for her. I am sorry but I did. And yes I was one of those that really was hoping Gerard was the greatest thing on earth as well. Not saying all you think that, I think alot of you realize he is only human. But....so is she! Do you see my point? I tried to write to her and tell her that I felt for her, but she doesnt accept any email from non friends. So thanks for listening and no I am not trying to say G is an ass, I dont think so, I think he is human and I also think she is as well. So...both made mistakes in this. BOTH. Yes this is HER side but what other side should she tell it from? I am not causing trouble, just giving my opinion. Thanks for listening :)

Actually anon, I'm kinda glad you mentioned that, and thank you for not coming in with a ugly attitude and saying what you think.
I will only say on this subject that there are always two sides to the same story and the truth is usually somewhere in the middle. I don't know either of them, and I won't judge either of them. It was between them and them only. It was brought into the public eye, and it shouldn't have been.
After the breakup, there were several interviews where I saw Gerard choke up or stop to keep from crying when he answered questions about the breakup. And yes, he said some hurtful things. But you don't carry that kind of anger unless you were genuinly affected by the person. If you didn't care at all, you just don't say anything.
As for whoever posted the whole story on here, that was just not right. Private matters should stay private matters.

You know, Shelley, I have a notebook that I do that to, write down my thoughts when I am sad or angry, and try to make sense of what ever happened. It's one of those "if you can change it, do it. And if not, find a way to deal with it and move on."

PJ, I read what you said earlier and I completely understood everything you talked about. I dated someone for five years in the who was not only in the military but was in the band that travels all over the world. Yes, I came second to both Uncle Sam and the music. I couldn't handle the cheating though, and that's what finally broke us up. But for the other things, not seeing him for so long, the road life, etc. I knew what I was getting into, so it didn't bother me. The other women did, and I wasn't aware of it for awhile. I knew it was not going to work, so we broke up. I don't regret the time I spent with him, though.

Ergo, I tell you, the first show we went to at PR there was this young guy that really made my day. It was while HIM was on and I went to get more water bottles for J. and myself, and out in the main area, away from the stage and seats, I passed by this group of guys, 4 or 5 of them, and they couldn't have been more than 20 or 22. I was the only woman in the area, and right after I went by them I heard one of the guys say quietly "Now that's what I like." One of the others asked him what. and he said "that girl that just went past here."

It's not the life most people think. I'm sure most fans look at it as all glamour and money and fame and whatnot, but that's not what it's all about. Bands work their asses off and are pulled this way and that and everything they say or do is up for grabs. And like you said, it's not non-stop rock stardom, it IS boring sometimes and you can imagine how many times I waited in seats watching rehersals and set up and tear down, and what not. And the money is not what people think. IF that is why you love a musician, for the money, fame and glory, well, there's going to be a hard lesson coming. You have to know what you are getting into and believe in that love and that person.
Or else just leave the ticket at the door and go on.

Okay, so, someone asked who I was supposed to be in that little story, and I wanna say that I wasn't anyone in particular. I wrote that mostly to get it out of my head, with no real character development except Mayo.

In their line of work, there would be a lot of personal sacrifice, but there is also lots of financial gains and creative freedoms, most people do not encounter in ordinary situations.
Anon i see your point, but with that kind of creative freedom comes what i call vulture's, leeches, golddigger's, pimps, groupies, dealers, doctors, lawyers and the ocasual mortician and all but the last one, most people in ordinary situations will never encounter.
