Yes, it happens all the time. Look at Britney. She may have never been a very talented person or even one who a good message but you can not say that her recent behavior hasn't made you look at her differently.
As far as his remarks on this tour Mci isn't with them right now so maybe that has a lot to do with that.

Look as far as I'm concerned what I said yesterday I meant. There are some people here who knew L was upset because of the stupid comment an ANON made basically saying that L's comment had driven Katherine to hurt herself. First off that is a horrible thing to say to anyone. L did not say anything that would cause something as horrible as that. That ANON was out of line. Totally.
However, what I saw happen sickened me. I saw people running all over worrying about Katherine but did I see anyone concerned because L was upset? The Punks get attacked all the time. Hello everyone, I thought I'd join in the convo.
When I got into MCR, it was first for the music. As the music drew me in, I started to read up on the band and the things they said made me feel the they were different and special.
There was a time when Gerard used to tell girls that if a shitty assed rock dude from a shitty assed rock band told you to show them your tits, you should tell them to fuck off. He was full of uplifting messages.
Can anyone please tell me how telling young, many underage, girls to fake an orgasm for him is any different to asking a girl to show him their tits. It is the same offensive behaviour. Gerard has become the shitty assed rock dude that he warned us about.
He didn't think twice about his fans when he decided to inflict his wifes bands vulgar lyrics onto them.
Yes, I still love the music and I still love the other guys. But, I have no respect for Gerard.

MissT - Good to see you. I respect your opinions. I totally agree with you that most of us came here because of our concern about Gerard and his behavior. For me that is still truth. I do worry about him. I think something is very wrong in his life. I still hope that something someone says or does will help him. I did not say I think he's okay. This all started because I refuse to call him a tool and wash my hands of him. That ain't gonna happen. I've said that I don't like a lot of what he has said and done recently. But once again I'm not gonna call him names and walk away.

i was concerned by the behavior i saw during the prorev tour. he seemed so different in the videos and interviews from the the person i had seen at the beginning of the tour. then there were the rumors about why his behavior was different...it made me so worried. i didn't want anything bad to happen to him.
but i don't see that behavior anymore, and i've learned to discount the rumors. i feel better about him now, not so worried about immanent doom.

Gerard's sexual mannerisms onstage, quite frankly does not bother me. I am a fifteen year old girl, and I know full well that I am too young to be hearing some of the stuff that he says. But to be honest, I hear that shit nearly everyday. But that does not mean I’m being influenced to do anything that I shouldn’t.
Being a kid to most people, I get treated like one. However, that’s what winds me up the most. Just because were young it doesn’t mean were stupid. We can handle stuff like this, just the same as any one of an older age would.
I’m not going to start saying that he is wrong just because ‘politically’ he may well be. Let the man do whatever the fuck he wants. I get it that he started of as this role model and what not, but weren’t he an alcoholic at this time? Gerard isn’t anymore, and to me, he’s making up for them damn right ugly years he had before. No K, I am not excusing the fact that he told the audience to moan. But the girls in the audience didn't have to reply.
It sounded to me as though everybody in that audience was enjoying themselves. Well not everyone, but the majority. And that is because people have different view of things.
But anyways, my point. If the crowd was say 18+ only, no big deal would have been made out of it. But because fans of all ages were there, he's being made out to be this extremely bad person. All I'm saying is, is that kids have to go through a lot more shit than what Gerard throws at us.
And like he has said before, he wants his concerts to be a place for everyone, where we all can fit in and be the same. He can treat us as adults if he wants too.

All I can say is when he speaks now or even preforms there is something different.

Because the same thing happened to me about a week ago when some asshole tried to sign in using my account when I was already sign in.
Some of you anons are computer illiterate.
Jade if you haven't notice most young girls today don't have a mind of their own. I mean look at most of them regarding LynZ.

Mayo, that's so dangerous. Let me tell you a story about trying to wax without a device.
About two years ago, I was waxing my eyebrows. Now, I don't have a wax heater. I get the little tub that you put in the microwave, okay? So I put the tub of wax in the microwave (now, okay, I only use the microwave for waxing, I don't cook food in there!) and i forgot it was in there. It was in for about five minutes.
So when I took it out, it was boiling, like i mean, with bubbles. I was like "Wow, oh my god, I have to be careful."
No sooner had I thought that than I slipped on my newly tiled floor, bumped my arm on the counter, and spilled the boiling wax all over my knuckles. Immediately it started to set into my skin. I panicked, threw the tub of wax onto the counter where it landed on one of my plastic bowls that I use to put leis in for summer parties. It cracked the bowl and cracked my counter.
I ran into the bathroom and ran cold water over my hands, which was stupid, because it sealed the wax further into the burns. I actually had to pull the hardened wax out of the burns on my skin, and oh my god, you had to see the result.
That's why it's dangerous o wax without a device.
I didn't lick the wounds on my knuckles, though. I bandaged them at work the next day with vet wrap.

I use to see him as someone who could do a lot of good. Who could show young girls that you don't have to fall into that pop tart groupie image that is being thrown at them.
Than he just stop saying saying those positive things and started amping up the sex act. And acting like it was no big deal. That you can just say words and them ac the complete opposite.

that's probably where we're different, because to me that message that really got me to be excited about this band was ---well, first it was the simple fact that they cared enough to even have a message at all! -- but it was how they champion creative expression, and being an individual. that there are people out there in the public eye saying that -- i think that's awesome, in the true sense of the word, and i don't see that message having been altered at all.
I don't know how it happened. I don't know how anything happened. I came in whenever I did to write my notes to the others. There wasn't anything there at the time. (I just checked it again, I came in at 2.15. The "deleted comment" was at 12.49.)
Surely you people know me well enough by now to know that if I had something to say to anybody, I would post it under my name.
I don't know enough about computers to do anything like that. I'm 42, for crying out loud. I never even TOUCHED a computer until about 10 years ago. I was a speech therapist; I worked with people, not machines.

PH, scroll back for the link that Entropy posted. It shows a screen cap of an email that shows ALL posts, even after they have been deleted. The OPS tried to post something anonymously but they accidentally signed in. They called you all hypocrites and said stuff about PPU.
Mostly they said how sad it was that no one was upset that "some friends" had left for good, meaning L. You were all supposed to get upset that she went away.
They deleted it not knowing that some of us get the comments emailed to us.
Then they posted it anonymously.
So they got caught, and now they are saying that their account got hacked or something.
But unless someone guessed their password or hacked their account, they got caught in a lie.
There is no reason someone would have hacked their account, made a post and then DELETED IT to post it anonymously.
It was them.
If they would admit it, it would be OK. But they won't.
No one knows why they did it, and a lot of people are getting upset about anons calling regulars names, when the OPS ARE anons calling regulars names.
