Mother Fucker that feels good.

It is down right impossible to kill the mood around here this fine evening. So, my intended post has been shelved for the time being. I am grateful for the distraction; my mood had drifted toward the foul. I am not my usual pretty princess self. You laugh...would you prefer The Queen? Quite honestly, I am like an unruly child.

Foolishly, I lost my temper. In an attempt to do far too many things at once, I allowed myself to snap under the pressure. The target of my destructive behavior, ever so graciously, allowed my rant without a challenge. And yes...as I know you will ask, I have apologized. I am truly sorry.

p.s. those dark moments back there cause me to pause and thank you.

It would be unwise to jump to conclusions about the Maine show.

Not everything is as it seems.

These comments are scrutinized. I hope you will understand.

The term 'medical issue' is perhaps slightly misleading but I guess it is fair to say that, to a certain extent, it is not completely untrue.

Anonymous said...

I'm sorry.

JocelynHolly said...

Ahhh I see.

So anonymous, how are you today?

Anonymous said...

Medical Issue could be anything. It could be cancer or persistent diarrhea. I call off work once a month due to a medical issue.

Please, last thing we need to do is work this blog into a tizzy. We don't personally know anyone in the band, so why jump to conclusions? If it's important, someone will find out eventually.

Hey everyone.

No new blog, I see. Both Mayo and SS were on last night because they both deleted location from their profiles. It only takes a second to post a saved entry. I wonder why he didn't do so.

This new time zone is extremely confusing as well. Eh.

JocelynHolly said...

I agree CTV!

I noticed the profile thing very early this morning. (3 am)

Wow, I am very confused as well by the timezone thing!

gnothi seauton said...

Good evening Mayo, good evening all.

RW - still rough? That's not good, maybe you need a night away from the screen?

Mayo, you are a delicious egg based product because the time is now CORRECT. Thankyou :)

I have had a SUPER day and am in a frighteningly good mood!!

Loli Lovette said...

It's a GMT timezone. Greenwich Mountain Time.

Maybe there was something in the air: The opening band, My Chemical Romance, also from New Jersey, played a brief, 40-minute set that began with the energetic "Famous Last Words," but ran out of steam halfway through. Singer Gerard Way could barely be heard over his bandmates (a problem the band has had before), and by the time he reached the dramatic ballad "Cancer," the chatter of the crowd had grown noticeably louder.

There is such a thing as an off night. Surely the bands, and the Prudential Center, will see better shows in the future."

Posted in the newspaper.

=/ Something is up. The first night everything was great but yesterday..eh

resurrected wreck said...

Hi GS :)

I need the air pressure to break, i think. That's usually the cause of my headaches. I'm going to head outside soon though, maybe the fresh air will do me some good.

JocelynHolly said...

Maybe they just didn't think it was worth it if no one was really listening to them and talking.
They could've been out of energy.

gnothi seauton said...

Lolita - GMT - :)

Paperheart - ah, well, you'll just to adjust the time mentally as we have to this side of the pond :D

Chipperness all round!!

resurrected wreck said...

=/ Something is up. The first night everything was great but yesterday..eh

Ran out of steam, eh? That's very unlike them. Maybe they just need a bit of time off to rest before they head out on tour again. Though that really sucks for the fans in Maine, who've had their show cancelled on them twice this year.

JocelynHolly said...

Fresh air should definitely help RW!

capture this void said...

They began with Famous Last Words and ended with Cancer? What the hell?

Not a good beginning or ending, sorry to say.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha I will GS!

gnothi seauton said...

capture this void said...

Yes.

I wouldn't like to end the day with such a depressing, slow song. Something like I'm Not Okay, to get all the fans up and jumping about would seem reasonable.

Anonymous said...

Who knows, but im pretty sure it had to do with the cancellation of Maine.
Well whatevers wrong, i hope its fixed and everything gets better

Anonymous said...

capture this void said...

Amyranth, I didn't mean they combined both songs. I meant on their set list, the first song played was FLW and the final one was Cancer.

Sorry to have confused you.

gnothi seauton said...

Looks even weirder when you word it like that, Amyranth!

Oh dear, the spidey senses are back.

JocelynHolly said...

Those two songs kind of contradict each other in a way.

gnothi seauton said...

It's just the order is weird and when Amyranth took the beginning and ends of the songs it looks even more disturbing.

I don't either.

I don't think they are back, they had a show last night and another show tomorrow, they do have today off though..

Anonymous said...

But if she is coming home for a day it would be exactly like Gerard to cancel a show to be with some girl (whoever he is with at the time).... I don't know of they are but I just was thinking about that.

JocelynHolly said...

I sometimes think all of these mysterious blogs are written by the same person.

As I said on BC's blog last night; sometimes I think that some of these anonymous people that fight with each other are just the same person trying to start shit on here.

I guess it would be like Gerard to do that anonymous, but somehow, I don't think he'd let down a bunch of fans just to run off with his 'beloved' wife.

MSI is still in Europe, and even if they werent i strongly doubt they would cancel a show because of something like that. Not very reasonable.

They've only canceled 2 shows before, food poisoning and when Mikey and Gerard's dad had a heartattack....=/

Last night when people were convinced the reason for the cancellation of the Maine show was to do with Bob cos it was all over the internet, didn't a random anon pop up and say it wasn't to do with Bob, it was to do with Gerard?

Just seems a bit odd for an anon to contradict everything that people were saying on other sites etc. Just makes you think, doesn't it?

capture this void said...

Is anyone here? I've returned.

Hiya CTV! I've only just turned up. What are we talking about.

Hi Mayo! Hope you are fine and dandy today.

"I guess it would be like Gerard to do that anonymous, but somehow, I don't think he'd let down a bunch of fans just to run off with his 'beloved' wife."

He ALWAYS blew fans off for Eliza when she was around. it was his choice, not hers, she was not the evil bitch every one thought she was.

Maybe not to the point of cancelling a concert back then but he's so different these days I think he would go that far.

MissTottenham said...

Wow anonymous, it makes me sad to contemplate that being the case.

Anonymous said...

She didn't object though, Anonymous, and she certainly didn't complain. She enjoyed it, it fed her ego.

capture this void said...

As much as I hate to admit it, I agree with you Anonymous.

I can see him doing something like that. However, I don't think this was the case yesterday. The show wasn't canceled. They played.

Anonymous said...

Cancel a whole show for Lyn-z?
People are fucked up but no one is fucked up that much

It wasnt because of Lyn-z or MSI or any of that. There was a reason, im pretty sure but nothing stupid like that.

Pixie said...

hi everyone :)

wow so much comments... time for a new post or mayo???

Anonymous said...

My Chemical Romance live to perform, it is in their blood and their hearts. They would not cancel a show and disappoint their fans without good reason.

Anonymous said...

To Gerard it probably is a good reason. And about Eliza, ho wouldn't be flattered??

Plus I'm not talking about a show yesterday I'm talking about the Maine one that got cancelled for "medical" reasons"..... I was asking if MSI was coming home for a day or LynZ was or soemthing, I can see gerard cancelling a show if she was gonna visit him.

Anonymous said...

plus remember, youre talking about a desparate man who can't do things by himself and he would do desparate things in order to spend time with some one. It doesn't have to make sense to us, but I can see him doing that.

capture this void said...

The other guys would never let it happen though. They would kick his ass, even if they are best friends.

If you don't wanna sign autographs after the show, fine. That's your decision. But canceling a show involves them, and they wouldn't let it happen. That would be crossing the line.

Anonymous said...

I think you will find it would have to make sense to the management though.

Anonymous said...

^^ What capture said.
MSI isnt even in the states and like i said, even if they were they arent going to cancel a show. Thats just really stupid.

capture this void said...

I wouldn't necessarily say they support it. It's more like they're coping with his actions.

Anonymous said...

Umm, no offense but that is really stupid. Cancel a show because it didn't give them enough money?
Phsst, because 56,000 dollars is monopoly money and even if it was little compared to what they usually get, its still nonetheless money.
Theyve only canceled 2 or 3 shows in their entire career.
Like i said, one for food poisoning and the other for a family issue.
They canceled for a reason and you know what, maybe they dont want us to know?
I think we should just leave it until the band tells us themselves and start making up stuff, because when stuff is said, it starts arguments and we wouldnt want that now would we?

Anonymous said...

*stop making up stuff, -spelling error

Uhh, i sound in a pissy mood but i hate having to go through the day hearing shit from people.

I agree, gel. Let's leave it alone. It's awful to say, but it's for them to know and for us to find out. I would be upset too, but these things do happen, excusable or inexcusable.

Ohhh. That Anon that just posted in Mayo's: I agree so hard with you. If someone reads this, could someone tell them I agree with that. And tell them that if they did it for the money, they wouldn't have booked a 2000 seater in Maine to begin with. I haven't lost faith in the fact that these guys aren't assholes and make music for everyone to hear. Not just the people who can go to a huge ass coliseum to listen to them play. They do this because they want to, not strictly because they're in it for the money.

Hey guys;

Don't jump to conclusions. I'm sure that there is a reasonable explanation behind the cancellation. It could be something personal that they don't wish to say, but I don't think that they would cancel it just so Gerard can see his wife. Just, have a little faith in them. =]

Anyways, how is everyone?

mustardisbetter said...

People are getting so angry over there. This saddens me because we shouldn't be getting angry at anyone. Everyone is jumping to way too many conclusions on the cause of the cancellation and it's spiraling out of control into more guesses that have no backing.

Now Gerard did "damage contol" by playing a concert ('cause we all know it's HIS band!!!) for a cancer benefit because "Kat" had cancer (didn't get the memo that this was the fucking reason he left her. Seems to me the fandom pulled that one out of their asses) and not because ALL OF THE GUYS WANTED TO GIVE SOMETHING BACK! Shit. Give them a break.

Now I'm getting pissed, and I'm sorry I ranted over here. Stupid effing dial-up.

i have to admit, when it comes to twentieth c. art, i get to be a bit of a snob though. i haven't got anything angainst dali, but i remember being extremely pissed off at picasso back in college! "that fucker, he ruined art for everyone!!" *grumble grumble*
lol

You can no longer hold this together.

The sleepless nights, the panic, the deep deep lows.

Things can distract, only for a short time.

But it always stays the same.

Hi everyone !

My 2 cents worth:
I doubt anything MCR do are for such trivial reasons, and I doubt their management would tolerate it for long if they did.
Maine already missed shows before so either they hate the area or it is a legitimate problem

TJ, you should check out the Amarna period. Akhenaten changed all of Egyptian art. It totally changed in every way.

wasn't akhenaten the one who moved the capitol and the paintings of the time were more realistic, almost portraits? is that the right guy?
i'll definitely look into it, though! :)

I loved that poem Ergo. It was this time last year that we started down that road with mum. Luckily for us it's a total cure in her case.

Every time i go to Egypt my parents drag me too tons of art museums. Its pretty nice art but im more into European art.
Anyone ever been to The Metropoliton Museum of Art? Its really an amazing place. I never get sick of going there.

Yes TJ, that's the fella. An amazing time in Egyptian history and art. Totally unlike anything that had gone before.

anon @ 12:13, it sounds like you're saying we're hindering mayo by being a distraction to him.
i sincerely hope we aren't.

i read an historical novel based on his life once -- can't remember the title at all, but it was amazing to think one person could change his culture so completely, based on his beliefs alone.

are those links to the period? i'll check them out tonight! :)

Anonymous @ 12.13am,

Things don't have to stay the same,
there is always free will.

And I like to think that not only do we distract but catch and support each other when we fall, whoever we may be.

We are all friends here, anonymous but still steadfast and true.

MissTottenham said...

Links to pics. Yeah TJ, he changed everything. It is so fascinating. You can still see traces of his influence into the time of Tutankhamun, whose original name was tutankhaten because he also started life worshipping the aten.

nicely said GS
I think if he's a troubled and confused soul he would appreciate knowing there is some support, even if it is anonymous.
We may not always agree with his actions but I think we all want him to be stable and happy, and if he's made mistakes, it is up to him to fix them, as hard as that may be. Perhaps he wants to but doesn't really know how.
Or he feels it's going too far too fast.
Who knows the truth, but we all want the same I'm sure.

on another note. Was it akhenaten who removed all trace of the female pharoh before him? Or someone else, I remember a documentary about it.

Well said. We are all friends here. Here for ourselves and here for each other.

And like true friends we tell it like it is and sometimes have to agree to disagree.

But apologies are meted out and hands are held out again in friendship.

Love, friends and family.

The only commodities you need in life.

That was Tuthmosis. He was too young to reign when his father Tuthmosis died so Hatchepsut took over the throne in the meantime. One the young king was old enough, Hatchepsut didn't want to give the throne back. She mysteriously vanishes from history and Tuthmosis tried to wipe any evidence she existed. It is called the second death and it spells oblivion.

family conflicts, genetic disorders, religeous fanaticism, murder, it's got it all !!

as well as beautiful art, amazing scientiic work and incredible architecture

A lesson for all of us I think.

bye ergo!

and it's all gone...
i have to say, that's not quite true, in my experience.
once, in college, the prof handed around a pottery shard from the jomon period of japan, and i looked at it, and was surprised to see a fingerprint. in prehistoric pottery!
at the time, i was also taking a ceramics course, and at that moment, i knew exactly how that perhistoric potter had felt, handling the clay. it was time travel.
not gone, at all.

...and, i will now be quiet for a while! sheesh. i'm either a chatterbox or i'm hiding in the corner. there's no middle ground for me it seems.
*rueful grin*

How about some Peter Kay jokes?

A bloke goes to his doctor and says "take a look at this".

He dropped his tousers.

The doctor said "my god man, you've got 5 penis's, how do your pants fit?"
...............

Like a glove.

But I have nothing to talk about. I'm as dull as dish water.
Hey is that really the saying? Dull as dish water? Why is dish water dull? I mean usually it's bubbly. Then that saying really doesn't make sense. Okay now you see why I can't talk? Too many random thoughts.
