Mother Fucker that feels good.

It is down right impossible to kill the mood around here this fine evening. So, my intended post has been shelved for the time being. I am grateful for the distraction; my mood had drifted toward the foul. I am not my usual pretty princess self. You laugh...would you prefer The Queen? Quite honestly, I am like an unruly child.

Foolishly, I lost my temper. In an attempt to do far too many things at once, I allowed myself to snap under the pressure. The target of my destructive behavior, ever so graciously, allowed my rant without a challenge. And yes...as I know you will ask, I have apologized. I am truly sorry.

p.s. those dark moments back there cause me to pause and thank you.

My best friend is going to Dal for social work. I had no idea they did Costume Studies. I figured they'd leave that sort of stuff to NSCAD.

A lot of people don't know about the Costume Studies program. That may be because it's off-campus. When I went (2001-2003) it was in Carlton House (at Prince and Argyle). Now it's above the HMV store on Spring Garden Road.

Did you ever go to the Keith's Brewery while you were there?

Nope. But I went to the Saturday Farmers Market. That's the in Keith's building, yes?

No!

My we are a chatty bunch, aren't we. Are we heading for 3000 or will Mayo give us another topic for discussion?

i promise i won't say anything else duran duran related, ever again.

RW - Yup. My first time in that building was just this past September. I love that little place, but it's soooooo busy....

The Keith's tour is a little... cheesy, so you don't really miss much.

Toujours,

Why the bashfulness?

Duran Duran is such a light, fun band.

It's a nice counterpart to the heaviness that accompany some other bands we know.

As far as I am concerned, when you have appeared on Perez Hilton with a cock photoshopped in your hand for a mic, you have lost credibility.

I know many of you will passionately disagree and I can easily respect your perspectives, but I don't think Mr. Gerard Way is drinking again.

I think he's tired.

I think he's exhausted.

I think he can barely keep his eyes open at three in the afternoon kind of exhausted.

I think this 2007 took a huge, huge toll on him and this time he didn't have drugs to turn to as previously and, if any of you out there have an addictive personality but are "recovered", when that stress comes back up but you haven't provided yourself any new ways to relieve that stress, you start to act a little.... crazy. And desperate. And scared. And all you bloody well want is a sincere hug from someone, anyone. Because the millions of awkward, starry-eyed, limp-armed hugs of sweet but clueless teenagers starts to sap your energy instead of enliven it.

We need to pray for him about this next tour.

I've got a bad, bad feeling. When I saw that they had scheduled another two months worth with nary a break, I felt this nauseous knot in my gut. That something was going to go down. Maybe not in the external world, but underneath that black mane of his.

I have been praying for two weeks now that I'm wrong.

Mayo,

I am so sorry, but I must go to sleep now. Maybe we can play next time...deal? Ok, deal.

I hope you are doing well this fine late night or early morning depending on how you look at it and where you are. If you are loving someone tonight, love them will all your heart. If you are missing someone tonight, tell them how much. If you are sad tonight, cry on someone's shoulder. If you are happy tonight, count your blessings.

Can't wait to see where this will lead us....Should I pack for my long journey?

Love to YOU ALWAYS!!
S

p.s. getting what you want every damn time, but not what you need

resurrected wreck said...

Don't worry, Black Jacket, no one really knows what's going on. The general concensus here & in the MCR forums is that something is up with Bob health-wise, which is why they've cancelled tomorrow's show. No official word though, so it's all conjecture.

I think this is entirely possible, given the year they've just had. But I also think he has a hard time coping when he's not performing in front of a crowd. I can't imagine what it's going to be like for him once their current tour finally comes to an end. I think that's why he clung to LynZ right away. He can't make it on his own.

Kapunua,

I've been pondering the violence with which you attack the issue surrounding Gerard, loss of values, his marriage, etc.

And the only reason I could guess for someone who's never met them taking it that personally is that you've led a life where everyone you've remotely trusted has betrayed you.

And their music must have provided you with alot of therapeutic moments through some evil, evil shit. Hence, why you are now eternally offended by Gerard's recent behavior.

It's okay. I can totally understand why, just curious.

^_^ That'shilarious and flattering.

No more orless than anyone else, I think.

And their music must have provided you with alot of therapeutic moments through some evil, evil shit. Hence, why you are now eternally offended by Gerard's recent behavior.

Therapeutic moments for sure. It was great to find a band that I thought stood against a lot of the crapI dealt with. Other than that, nah,I just am really vocal and one ofmy biggestBIGGEST petpeeves is hypocrisy.I hate it when someone preaches about something and than doesthe oppositeof it. Most of the timethe actual issues don't even matter (although my big four really are child exploitation, sexism, racism and homophobia. Oh hey MSI,Panty Shot, songsabout "bitches,N*ggers and f*ggots.")

The thing isthatthere arepeoplewho really do a lot of greatwork for those specific issues, and I respect that. What I don't respect is lip service. And I hate marketing ploys. Take a gander at my LJ once in a while and you'll see similar rants pretty frequently on allkinds of subjects. I'mpolitical and opinionated. That's about the longand short ofit.

I'm mouthy online and I am in person, too. Forexample sometimesmy boss and I clash. I treathim the same way. I just don't care if someone is famous or not.

kapunua, i respect that you have an opinion that you're so willing to stand up for -- that's very admirable -- but i would just like to go on record saying that i personally don't think gerard is the anti-christ.

Come off it;hyperbole much? If I thought he was the "anti-christ" or even a bad person I would say so. I just think he's an immature hypocrite.

And for the record that swipe at Heaven HelpUs was cheap. It's one of my favorite songs in terms of melody and structure. It is angsty though.

Sparkle just cause I pray doeen't mean I don't have my moments of screaming, crying ect... I have all of those. But what brings me back from them is the quiet of prayer. Sorry folks,

I tend to agree with Kapunua. He's a hypocrite.

And just because you call someone out as a hypocrite does not necessarily mean you consider them evil. Just personality deficit, and untrustworthy.

And his behavior makes me especially cynical, seeing he is in such a privileged position.

Sparkle wrath,

Of course there are consequences to all our actions. If your implying that it is impossible not to make mistakes, and that you cannot live a life of purity, I think you misunderstood the argument.

Would you ever criticize someone if their actions are diametrically oppositional to the words coming out of their mouth?

I would think that many people would have an issue with that.

Anonymous said...

Are you a person, then, that tries to live by their word independent of the consequences to avoid said hypocrisy?

Yes, but that doesn'tmean I see things in black and white.I think a lot of people aregetting the idea that I think bands like MSI should be bannedor something, when in fact I actually strongly disagree with Gerardabout bands having to write "responsible"lyrics.Where would rock music be if every band thought that way? I've always disagreed when he said that. But I also thought it was a nice gesture that hewas willing tostand against abusive lyrics. I don't have to like abusive lyrics;I can deal with it by just turning it off.

It bugsme when people talkthe talk but don't walk the walk.If you're going to be preachy about something and buildyour career around it, you'd better be ready to stand up for it when the timecomes. I do resent sellouts, because it takes a spine to NOT sellout.

Me?My beliefs are firmly very liberal. I'm pro-choice but Idon't goaround forcing pro-lifers tosee itmy way. If they stay out of my face Ican stay outof theirs. I'm a vegetarian and animalrights acticvist, but I don't try to tell others to be those things, though. I don'tpreach about it, I just live it. If people want information or want to ask mesomething,I'mready with answers and reasons.

If I suddenly got married to a guy who askedme to do commercials forKentucky FriedChicken, and I did them, then I'd be selling out, youknow? I don't carewhat the reason is; desperation, nookie, lust, love. Ifyou've, for instance, spent the last six years of your life in thousands of people's faces telling them about their "responsibility" and how you think they should behave and then you turn around and do the opposite, well, you know, I don't have to say it again, right?

Though I am a fool, I don't live in an attic whose entrance has been sealed by bricks.

Everyone can and will make mistakes. I asked because I know people are live in constant anxiety trying to make sure they can never be viewed as being a hypocrite.

I have personally come to peace with the every day behavior of other human beings. For the past ten years, I expect that people will sink to the lowest common denominator in their actions and because they generally don't, I'm always pleasantly surprised. And when they do, I just shrug my shoulders because that's what I have come to expect. The only person whose moral behavior I am concerned over is my own, because I am the only one I have any control over.

I suppose that is my way of saying you have come to be a person that I love having discussions with, watching how you interact with the others that come to play on this blog.

And my overactive imagination began to see everyone sitting at this big round kitchen table and I was serving them tea and crumpets and what have you earlier. So, when I thought you had disappeared, my mind immediately, well, set a special place for at my rather nebulous tea table with a little name card and the best china I had.

I like the folks here. I can rant about the stuff that's onmymind concernign a band I used to really dig. There aren'ta bunch of teenies or ass-kissers. What I find here is actually quite a few women in their 30's or older who are seeing a lot of the same things I'm seeing. There's validation inthat, and also people are drawn to those people who have similar perspectives. Our collective experiences are letting us see somethingotherpeople are probably not seeing, and it's kind of comforting.

Also I don't think that this is GerardWay's secret blog. But I do suspect that he'saware of it and it's satisfyingto think that this may be a kind of bitchslap to him.

Orperhaps a wakeup call, because my feeling tells me that something very wrong is going on thesedays and contrary to popular belief,I don't want to see the kid fail.

Sparkle I just love the things you want to know. I wonder..does he hug the pillow when he sleeps? He's said he's a pajama kinda guy but what about slippers? Shit, I just had a vision of him wearing fuzzy pink slippers. Why am I finding that visual pretty damn interesting?

Anonymous said...

Elena, My God, Laughing my ASS OFF.

Someone give him a scathingly bright yellow, fluffy bathrobe and a mug of coffee that says, HOT MAMA on it.

And rollers in his hair.

Anonymous said...

I guess he must be somewhat interesting to garner that type of attention.

He'sinteresting, but I'll bet not as half as interesting as the opinions he inspires in intelligent people. Stress on "intelligent."

On that note I should get to bed, becauseIhave to get up super early tomorrow.

Sleep well,all.

Anonymous said...

Paperheartxx,

I not only see him hogging the bed, but I have this feeling he snores, too.

Which is the worst! No advantage to sharing a bed with that guy, there.

JocelynHolly said...

Goodnight Kapunua! *hugs*

toujours said...

well, it's been fun sitting here with you all, but it's time for me to go to bed. i have to work tomorrow. :/

so good night, all!
and good night, mayo. please remember to give yourself quality downtime in which to recharge your batteries, ok?

Anonymous said...

Farewell Kapunua,

A pleasure as always. Don't let a pixie fart on your head. That's how they make long hair all knotted up.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha, my mom hogs the whole bed and she yells and kicks and stuff! My dad can't even sleep in the same bed as her!

Elena, I can just see him now looking like that!

Anonymous said...

toujours,

Good night! I hope wherever you sleep there isn't a short little man hogging the bed and stealing the blankets and snoring in your ear.

JocelynHolly said...

Goodnight toujours! *hug*

Paperheartxx,

I, too, am glad I don't sleep with your mom.

For more reasons than one.

Your father must really love your mother. That is a sign of true love right there.

elena said...

Okay it's late the coyotes are howling and everyone in my house is sleeping but me. So what am I doing? I'm imagining Gerard in a fluffy pink bathrobe with matching slippers. So wrong yet......

JocelynHolly said...

Haha yes it is! My dad works out of town most of the time, he's only home for about 5 days a month. But when he is home, he sleeps in a seperate room due to my mother's weird sleeping habits!

Anonymous said...

Elena,

Are you getting a little excited over there?

Whatever you fantasize, don't just take advantage of the poor, helpless thing!

JocelynHolly said...

What else do I wonder about Gerard?

I wonder if he ever gets out any of those dolls people have made him and literally plays with himself and the rest of the band.

elena said...

paperheart we think alike. Hey, I may be 15 years older than the guy but hey, I'm old not dead. Not a thing in the world wrong with admiting he's pretty damn easy on the eyes. Even in pink.

Anonymous said...

He does have the face of an angel. I will agree.

elena said...

Sparkle you are making me giggle so loud I just woke up the dog. Does he get out the dolls and play with himself?...... Yet another great visual.
I want to know if he's in the car and an MCR song comes on the radio does he sing along with himself?

JocelynHolly said...

He sure is Elena *drools*
;)

Haha now, all I see, is Gerard running around in Super Man Pj's and hugging a Frank action figure while he is being a HUGE bed hog drooling all over his pink fluffy pillow.

Anonymous said...

Elena, yes!!!!

Oh, I hope so. I really hope so!

Anonymous said...

Paperheartxx,

Wouldn't it be funny if we're piecing together the real Gerard?

Anonymous said...

I wonder if Gerard ever begins to hear a cover of one of his own songs and initially doesn't recognize it and is like, ewww, this song sucks!

And then is mortified when he realizes it's his own song.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha I'd actually laugh soo hard if we were Sparkle!

Elena, I really hope he sings along with himself.

You also don't want to know what I read "Gerard playing with himself".
=]

elena said...

Hugging a Frank action figure...yeah for sure. Would that be regular Frank or zombie Frank? I'm looking at both right now on my shelf trying to decide.

JocelynHolly said...

I'd cry if I were him thinking that. I'd be like "What the hell was I thinking?!"

JocelynHolly said...

Elena, I'd say Regular Frank =]

Anonymous said...

See, what Gerard would do considering his hero/martyr complex is he would have the zombie Frank trying to eat the human Frank but then he would sacrifice his own doll to save the human frank and have the zombie Frank doll pretend to eat his own.

Anonymous said...

And I wonder if Gerard saves the frosting for last on a cake, eats it with the cake or doesn't eat it at all.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha, that'd be hilarious Sparkle!

elena said...

I can just see this in the form of a graphic novel.

JocelynHolly said...

Hmm.. the cute chubby Gerard probably ate the cake &frosting together.
Gerard today.. being the skinny man he is, probably doesn't eat the frosting.

I wonder if he puts the leaves the toilet seat up after taking a piss, and pisses off Lyn-Z.

elena said...

Does he take the pickles off his hamburger or eat them? Showers or Baths? Paper or Plastic?
All very important questions!

Anonymous said...

Paperheartxx,

I have a feeling he once did.

But then she got out her guitar strap and threatened to beat him with it.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha, That'd actually be hilarious Sparkle!

Elena, you raise some very good questions there!

Anonymous said...

Yes, Elena.

We must know!!!!

Whomever among us meets him first has the responsibility of getting the answers to these things.

I can't concentrate on anything else till I know what kind of bag he puts his groceries in!

Anonymous said...

But here's my hypothesis:

1) No pickles or else he loves them. Don't see a middle ground there.

2) I bet he takes baths. Although, according to the other bandmates he never cleans himself at all, so that may be a moot point.

3) That insensitive jerk, I bet he prefers plastic!!!!

JocelynHolly said...

1) No pickles or else he loves them. Don't see a middle ground there.
Isn't he a vegetarian?

2) I bet he takes baths. Although, according to the other bandmates he never cleans himself at all, so that may be a moot point.
Haha, that would be gross if he didn't clean himself!:P But I bet being the princess he is, he does enjoy baths!

3) That insensitive jerk, I bet he prefers plastic!!!!
I laughed out loud times 64840 when I read this!

Anonymous said...

[[Isn't he a vegetarian?]]

Frank is the vegetarian.

Anonymous said...

Yay, an anon!

I love all of you little anons!

I want to round you up like dwarf llamas and give you all a group hug, a cookie shaped like Gerard's head and a slap on the butt before you go back off.

Anonymous said...

The anon is right, though, Paperheart. Frank is the veggie.

elena said...

Okay if I was going to guess here goes..
I think he eats the pickles
I find it hard to believe he isn't prissy clean. I know what the other band members say but he just strikes me as a prissy clean guy.
Paper or Plastic? Probably paper cause then he can make really neato masks out of the bags.

JocelynHolly said...

Oooh. I always thought both of them were.

Anonymous said...

[[Oooh. I always thought both of them were.]]

Nope, I'm pretty sure only Frank is. The only reason Gerard wasn't food poisoned by the chicken that time was because he was sleeping or something so he missed out on eating it.

Anonymous said...

So, Elena.

That begs the question.

If Gerard were to make masks out of the paper bags, which band member would he pretend to be?

JocelynHolly said...

Nope, I'm pretty sure only Frank is. The only reason Gerard wasn't food poisoned by the chicken that time was because he was sleeping or something so he missed out on eating it.

Awwh, I love chicken! This may be stupid, but I'm afraid of getting the bird flu from eating chicken. *blushes*

Wow, I am very slow, I thought that Gerard got food poisoning too. Boy I don't pay much attention.

Anonymous said...

To be honest, though, Paperheart, I don't think it's a bad thing you don't know every tiny little detail of their lives.

I'll fully admit, I am not proud of how much information I know about this band and its members.

However, I have discovered going onto this blog that I don't even touch the surface considering what some of these people find out, or claim to.

JocelynHolly said...

Sometimes I'm actually shocked to know all the stuff that people know about these guys.

Anonymous said...

Seriously, Paperheartxx.

I used to think I had a problem with obsession.

But I now bow down before some MCR fans. Turns out I didn't even know what the words "to obsess" meant.

It's almost like being witness to one of the eight wonders of the world.

Anonymous said...

Well, I am off, beautiful ones.

Night, Paperheartxx, Elena, sneaky anon.

I shall attempt to sleep.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha I get what you are saying Sparkle!

elena said...

Yes some people are a bubbling fountain of MCR information. I don't claim to know everything but my brain has a lot of stored info about them. Frank is the vegetarian cause meat makes him sick. Bob cooks up a mean steak (he has a special recipe). Gerard likes his meat! Fuck I just read that last line and I'm laughing like an idiot. It's late and I'm getting silly, Likes his meat.

JocelynHolly said...

Good night Sparkle Wrath!

Have a good nights sleep!
Sweet dreams!
*hug*

elena said...

Oh Sparkle don't go... Who needs sleep anyway? It's totally overrated.

JocelynHolly said...

lol Elena!

It is 2:10 am, and surprisingly I am not that tired! =]

elena said...

So paper where are you? We are in the same time zone. I'm in the land of Oz.
Actually that's Ah's
Ah shit it's hot or Ah shit it's cold.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha, I am in Winnipeg Manitoba!=]

Where abouts are you?

elena said...

I live in a small town near Leavenworth (yeah home to the Big House the Leavenwoth Penitentiary)

JocelynHolly said...

Ooh that sounds interesting! There is a jail just outside of Winnipeg that looks like the one that is in the new version of The Longest Yard!

elena said...

Yeah, we got prisons and cows. There are actually 3 prisons in the Leavenworth area.
My daughter’s boyfriend is from Canada but I can't remember what town. Nice boy, I like him. He just had a birthday and he wanted some food from back home. One of his favorites is Ketchup potato chips. I found them on the Net for him. Gotta say I wasn't impressed but he loved them.

JocelynHolly said...

I really don't like Ketchup chips. My friend is OBSESSED with them, but they make me sick!

Do they not sell them in the States?

elena said...

No Ketchup chips here at least not in Kansas.
It's weird I should be tired but I think I'm too tired to be tired if that makes any sense. I bought out a huge estate of books today and spent the day looking them up on the Net and pricing them. Think I would be tired of this stupid computer screen. This is fun talking to MCR people. How long have you liked the group?

JocelynHolly said...

I have liked the group, at least a little bit then, since Three Cheers came out.
My sister was obsessed with them, and saw them twice. She offered me a ticket, but I wasn't so into them at the time. That day of the concert, she saw them at the mall and ran to the dollar store to get a notebook for them to sign, but she came back and they were gone!
Anyways, I eventually grew to love their music after I heard WTTBP. That song just triggered something in my brain.

How about you?

elena said...

Funny story the first time I saw the group was the INO video. My middle daughter called me in to watch it on the TV. I remember watching it and my only question was "Why did that guy just kiss that other guy?"
Oh man, I've really changed since then. I've seen them twice in concert now and hope that I'll get to see them again before I die of old age.

JocelynHolly said...

Awwh, at least you've seen them Elena!

I haven't seen any MCR concerts!

elena said...

Well I gotta try to sleep now. I have to get up in less than 3 hours. Take care Paper. Dream of you know who in pink slippers.

JocelynHolly said...

Ohh I plan on it Elena!

Sweet Dreams!!

Have an amazing day Mayo!

Mayo,

Don't like where your heads at, on this one, buddy. For shame, you are still dwelling on your imperfections and sadness. I'm glad you see that you are acting like an unruly child. I have been there myself. Something tells me you should be back on psychiatric meds.... this is no judgement, just feel the despairity in your voice; the depravity in your language. You are like the character JigSaw in the Saw movies.

Don't you just love Halloween?

I'm not even going to comment about your last blog.

can't believe mayo didn't post!! i was surprised. anyway catch you later.

OK...if i remember right, someone awhile back on a post here, said something about a member not going on this tour with the band.
Maybe it's Bob who dose not want to go.
Or maybe I'm just crazy, but i do believe there was a post like that.

I have a feeling this "medical issue" has to do with someone outside the band =/
