It is down right impossible to kill the mood around here this fine evening. So, my intended post has been shelved for the time being. I am grateful for the distraction; my mood had drifted toward the foul. I am not my usual pretty princess self. You laugh...would you prefer The Queen? Quite honestly, I am like an unruly child.
Foolishly, I lost my temper. In an attempt to do far too many things at once, I allowed myself to snap under the pressure. The target of my destructive behavior, ever so graciously, allowed my rant without a challenge. And yes...as I know you will ask, I have apologized. I am truly sorry.
p.s. those dark moments back there cause me to pause and thank you.

I'm wondering if Bob's "illness and surgery" are treatment for Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?
My mom had it and if I recall correctly, it comes from repetitive, unsupported use of the hands/wrists. She was able to get it fixed with surgery and it only took a couple of weeks to heal.
If Bob's is only minor they might not even have to do invasive surgery, what if they can do laser therapy or something?

"Bike Week '03" is right. He got on a motorcycle ridin' kick for about a year and decided to ride for about 4 hours to Daytona Beach for Bike Week. He then proceeded to get the absolute cheesiest tattoo EVER! He also had to camp out in a Wal-Mart parking lot. Heh-heh. I would have paid big bucks to see that. He is not the sharpest crayon in the box sometimes but he is MY little dull, broken crayon. Jackass.

Sparkle Wrath, the only thing better than a hot cup of Chamomile is a hot cup of Lavender tea. I never tried it until I went to the spa, then I paid $10 for a bag of dried flowers.
It is especially heavenly on a cold day after a hot bath.

I thought of a game.
Well, it's not so much a game. But there is someone who wins and someone who loses. I was reflecting on the FF2007 the other night and the breathtaking women that occupy this room here in Mayo's house.
And I want everyone to think of a terrible memory, childhood or otherwise, that you know still hurts and affects your behavior to this day.
Now, rather than reflecting on it and mourning its inescapable presence, I want all of you to turn to that memory and scream, SCREAM at it, FUCK YOU.
FUCK YOU, event/person/trauma, I do NOT want you owning a piece of myself anymore.
And it may take me a week or ten years, but I am done letting you own me. And I will do everything in my power to destroy your grip on my soul, to loosen those talons and canines on my shoulders, till you're nothing more than a wisp, a memory with no more strength than the memory of brushing my teeth this morning.

My best friend is going to Dal for social work. I had no idea they did Costume Studies. I figured they'd leave that sort of stuff to NSCAD.
