After going back over the new post I felt that Our Host has more to say than how he's getting his rocks off. In fact, he probably isn't talking about sex at all.
MIB, we were saying that this is a complex individual with deeper needs. This post strikes me as his IDEAL of that intimate moment. He has "created" his perfect woman with these words. Remember, he's a writer. "Conversation prompted the fire..." could well mean that the intellectual stimulation we mentioned last night was the trigger that started the fantasy. "X-rated in an alternate universe" could be that the fantasy is what he wants, but the x-rated version is all he gets. ???
I spoke to L. earlier this evening (she's out of town again), and I read her the post. She's the Mayo "expert" and devotee in the apt. She totally agrees with us, by the way. She knows where Gerard is coming from, as she is also easily bored with things and people that aren't challenging. If the mind isn't there, the body doesn't hold its appeal. I'll take that as quite a compliment, because I've never been able to see someone's true meaning behind their words. I always think they mean it one way, but in the back of my mind, I think they could mean another. This comes after having to analyze poetry which I never saw the point in. The poetry, or in this case post, is written from the mind of one person where only they know what they truly mean. Kinda the same way with lyrics. I've never felt that it was my right to try and decipher what the author was truly saying. Only they will know that. So, that's where the insecurity about that comes from.

I think we are in agreement and on the same page here. I don't believe for a second that sex is the main point in this post. But, again, only Mayo is going to know what it's truly about. I can only guess what it means, but I guess that it isn't just about sex. There's definitely something more there I think.

L. relates so well to your mindset of "intelligence with passion" (assuming that's what you feel). She has met several men that appealed to her either one way or the other, but hardly ever both. She gets bored so very quickly with most guys. She's even turned down a couple of marriage proposals because the men were, well, pretty dim. She's a Gemini, with the stereotypical two sides to her personality. The only problem with that is there's two needs to satisfy: brain and body.
This is why L. is so very attracted to Gerard. She says that he would be exciting to live with because he's so multi-faceted. She says that his wide range of interests keeps HER interested. You're right I started this crazy mind trip with dear Loveman when I felt something in my gut. I just had to respond. It's really crazy to me. I've never been a writer....no, that's not honest. I had never allowed myself the opportunity to write. I always needed an outlet but never knew what it should be. I never even intended on being a blogger...but here I am. And this has been such a liberating experience for me. If someone actually listens or I make them think or question something, then that's a really special thing. This is actually a very humbling place to be and I love it and I'm so glad we get to share it together.

You know I real admire the way you (Mayo and everyone here) write. I read things and take them at face value; I struggle to express thoughts through words.
Not because I’m stupid, I am a BSc and MSc (nearly!); but for too long I’ve been a world where everything has to be written as bare facts and the mere hint of an adjective, let alone a metaphor invokes the wrath of a thick red pen. I actually think papers I’m given that are deemed excellent are really quite unreadable. This is why I have always left the analyzing to you guys. I’m used to things that are black and white, and proven to a high statistical power, of course. Yawn!
I used to read a lot; back when I had a life that didn’t just involve going to work and sitting here producing the aforementioned unreadable text.
This whole internet blog thing is a first for me! I’ve been watching and re-learning! There’s a lot of weird shit in my head and you guys have shown me a way that maybe I can express it and not keep it festering inside. So, I’m gonna try it; bring some colour in!

Good morning, my dear. How are you feeling today? I can feel my moods starting to shift inside. It's a strange way to feel...something churning in your gut. I don't know where that comes from...are they my feelings or am I picking up on someone else's? I have nothing particular to be upset or moody about today, but I'm on edge. Do you feel that way sometimes? As if something is about to break wide open, burst, and spill. Will it be laughter, anger, tears, passion, or blood? Only time will tell....
Well I'm off for now....and if you're feeling the same way I feel today, I hope you are able to make more sense out of it than I am. Inside my head is a frightening place to be sometimes...better than any ghost story I could ever tell you. Relate much?

I also read on the Leathermouth myspace that they have indeed finished or in the process of finishing the record and it'll be out in late November (if I remember correctly). I'm very excited about that. I'm also excited for The Color Fred's album to drop. Comes out on the 30th of this month if anyone's interested.
Why I rambled on so? I'm listening to TBS and it causes brain malfuntion.

I guess SS knowing which bands would be playing with Leathermouth ahead of time before they were announced or even advertised is kinda weird. A bit like when Mayo said the 'one last time' an hour before telling the crowd 'the black parade is dead!' at the end of the show.
I am worried SS hasn't been back since he posted that story. Maybe this really is his 'parting gift' to us as someone said a few days ago.
Could someone sum up that video in words. Youtube isn't dialup friendly. Does the fan have inside info on the "fued" that would make one think that it isn't over?

Question #1: I know they heavily advertised about 3 main bands. Was there a reasoning behind not advertising the rest of the lineup? I know with PR, everyone of them got a lot of advertising, headliners receiving more though. So, why do you think they keeped some of the bands under wraps? It's not as if they're well known.
Question #2:
Is there not some sort of rule about releasing information? I mean, would there be backlash if someone did find out about the rest of the lineup and post it somewhere for public viewing?
I don't think that any stagehand or venue worker found out tonight's lineup and sat down to write a story about it. It's possible, but I don't see that happening. What would they gain?

We will have to wait and see if SS's predictions were right about who will be playing. The New Amsterdams, Saves the day and the color fred are advertised cos they will pull in the crowds. No point advertising lesser known bands as they won't pull in the crowds.
Maybe SS wanted to give a shout out to some up and coming bands.
I agree that ppl organising the gig will know who is playing, but SS has been around for a while now. A random gig employee has no connection to MCR, Frank/SS is the only connection between the two things (Leathermouth show and MCR).

Even if the blogs are all fan fiction, I don't care. I'll admit that at first, the possibilty that they may be real, drew me in. But it was the people I've met here that make coming here so much fun. So if Mayo turns out to be some bored fifteen year old girl from Nowheresville, USA, it won't change the fact that I have had so much fun here and was finally able to freely voice my opinions with some truly awesome people.

I agree. I don't think the newcomers (ie. most of the anons) see what we have here. They only acknowledge the posts that question the identities of both Mayo and SS. They don't see the meaning behind our discussions. That disappoints me greatly. We're not here for anything or anyone but each other.

"No more sad face" is the title of an EP by Single File, another band on the bill.
Whoever the author of that story, whether SS or not, they sure are a clever little rabbit.
OH! Now I understand. The Used put the video on their official Myspace. Well, bad publicity is publicity none the less. They'll most likely get fans who are ex-MCR fans or MCR "haters." Seems like a pretty low way of trying to gain some attention. Their albums would be good enough. I respect their musicianship and honest lyrics. The other stuff, though I may not agree with it, is just...meh. It doesn't affect me.

I hope you do not actually think that you are the first to come in here with your "I'm better than all you silly people" attitude to tell us that this blog is fake or fan fiction. Because you're not. This has been discussed a million times over. Not everyone here believes this is Gerard, in fact many are skeptical. Fake or not, this blog has given those of us who come here a place to voice our opinions and concerns that would be shot down in other places. It has brought together a group of people that felt like misfits on the rabid fan boards that currently exist.
One thing that I have never understood since this began, is why everyone is so concerned about us over here. When I was a visitor at sites such as INO and BN, I saw first hand that if you didn't agree with the majority there you would be banned. So fair enough, I left. I let the majority have full run of those places. I found the people and the discussions here and felt like I fit in, so I stayed. If you do feel that we are just silly, simple minded fools, why do you care if we believe in these blogs or not? What harm does it cause to you, if someone here wanted to believe that Gee was running this blog? None. It doesn't affect you at all. Let it go, leave us in peace.
