I recently received a text message from a very good friend:
“You watch grinch? What the fuck are they singing?”
I replied:
“Been a while: Ah-boo-doe-ray, Ah-boo-doe-ray. Or something like that. But what I really wanna know is why santa is such a dick to rudolph.”
This was my friends reply:
“Donner a dick too.”
And because I can’t let anything go without an overdone, unnecessary, crack-pot analysis, I replied again:
“Yeah, what up with that. Nice message to send kids…youre different and I dont like you, so fuck you until I need you to pull my sleigh. Then I like you. Santa almost push rudolph over the edge.”
My friend was probably thinking "Why did I even ask?"
But, yeah Santa is pretty much a dick to Rudolph. I believe he says something to the effect of "Pity, and he had potential, too.” And my friend was right, Donner was a dick. Desperate to prove himself a worthy sperm donor, he makes Rudolph cover up his depreciatory genetic mutation. Explaining to his son that there are more important things in life than comfort, like self-respect.
The message: If you don't fit in, you aren't worth shit. So suck it up until you either fit in or someone needs you for something.
And then everyone tries to take it back and pin the "reindeer of the year" award on Rudolph. Kids have to see through that.
(Clarice knew what was up, though. Right from the beginning she knew Rudolph was the shit.)
So, I say to Santa and the rest of the fuckers in this world...just because someone doesn’t fit your image of what “a something” should be you think that they are incapable? Not worthy? Without feelings?
"Just wait, and watch your back."
And, of course I had to look that shit up, so here it is:

Why is it that I picture Rudolph coming back years later after he's lost Clarice to Blitzen and ruined his beautiful bright nose by snorting up all sorts of chemicals, coming back toting a gun and blowing the whole lot of em to the South Pole and back? Can you visualize it? Reindeer running in every direction, Santa caught with his big fat ass up in the air doing an elf behind Mrs. Claus' back and in walks Rudolph.....

I'm twisted, and I realize this would make Rudolph no better than anyone else. But I do wonder if he ever regrets the day he decided to pull the sleigh and play the hero. Sure on the outside he was receiving lots of attention and smiling and seemed to have lots of new friends, but in the end, he was probably just the same fucked up, insecure Rudolph on the inside. It would have been nice if could have overcome, said fuck em, held his head high, and decided to walk the world by himself. But fuck, walking the world by yourself isn't scary, it's fucking lonely.

All he ever wanted was someone to love him, accept him just as he was. It's too bad Rudolph couldn't do that for himself.

Okay I woke up this morning looked out at the snow. Listened to the weatherman gleefully talk about all the ice that is headed our way (seriously the dude lives for this shit) and realized the only thing I like about winter....
It makes me long for spring. It makes me strong holding on knowing that in a few months soft warm rain and gentle breezes will arrive.

I do wonder though - Why so fascinated by me? It's either that or you're looking for dirt on someone who doesn't even bother you. You have many issues, but I won't point them out. Adults don't behave that way. Something to think about, isn't it?

I've never had my wisdom teeth done, but then again, I've always seriously questioned if I have ANY to begin with.
I've never had my wisdon teeth done cos I never had any problems with them.
My dentist said "I see you have all your wisdom teeth, any problems?" I said no and he said " well, don't take this the wrong way but we'll leave them where they are cos there's plenty of room for them".
I shouted "are you saying I've got a big gob?" He just looked sheepish but didn't say no, of course not hahahahaha!
Last weekend I was shopping in town with my mum. We were in HMV and I saw the funniest book.
It was called pets with turettes. It was all pictures of cute animals with speech bubbles saying things like cockgobbler.
Well, it made me laugh.

hot still! and he is dosed up. like both paracetamol and nurofen. i normally stagger the fuckers so you always have something to fall back on, but he was so hot and shivery i did both.

You can never have too many this time of year.
Well, the recording box. The story is that we were gonna have it til Monday. They rang me Monday to say the next person had cancelled and we could have it til Thursday.
That was great cos he'd been silent til then and it had been a complete waste of time. Tuesday night though, he started.
It wasn't as loud as he usually has it but it was something and I got a quite a few recordings, or so I thought.
The lady cane early this morning to take it away and listen to the downloaded stuff but it was blank.
They tried it again in the office and it was broke. So, nothing this time but at least we get to have it again and hopefully next time he'll be louder.
