Anon from this morning, thank you also. If I have a "secret" it's just that I don't smoke or tan. (Aside from ruining your cells, smoking also makes you purse your lips unnaturally and scrunch your face up; it causes a lot of deep lines.) Don't use products that have alcohol or drying agents in them (they actually make you oiler to compensate) or a lot of dyes or scents.
But I think the real "secret" is good genes. My grandparents, parents, brothers and all my cousins have nice skin. My Gran is 88 and has skin like milk.

I am simply amazed at the sheer viciousness of some people. I've seen it, heard it, read of it in the newspapers and TV, seen it happen to those we love and even been the target of it.
You would think by now I would be used to it, chalk it up to "well, that's just how people are." I am jaded, but there is one thing that I hope I NEVER do.
I hope I NEVER accept it as just "part of human nature". I ALWAYS want to be shocked by how cruel and vicious someone can be against a fellow human being. I NEVER want to just turn away and forget about it. That's why I belong to Amnesty International. But I know this is a problem in all aspects of life.
I know a few words on a blog may not mean much, but it really makes me wonder if someone can be so cruel and vicious in print, how do they treat people in real life? How many have they broken down their self-esteem, their spirit, their heart?
J. and I can brush it off, we're pretty strong. But even we are weary.
We will not let ANYONE tear down what the Family has spent months building, the love, the friendships, the support, etc.

Tales from the crypt...and an even darker place
We gathered around the coffin of our absent host, who left a rather disturbing epitaph, which seemed to destroy the mood of the obsequies right from the beginning.
When it turned out that the restless undead wouldn't join our conversation in the candlelit vault most of the mourners left the death watch.
It was quiet and peaceful for a moment.
Suddenly, we heard a noise coming from the stairs. Someone new came to visit the recently deceased. Whispering to the casket, then merging with the shadows to remain silent as a gruesome voice echoed from the walls.
The self-appointed crypt keeper had raised her ugly shrunken head. The foul stench coming out of her mouth was mind numbing.
Her bony index finger pointed accusingly at the stranger's chest.
"Begone, worthless person! You are desecrating the grave! I did not give you permission to enter the crypt!!!"
We went on with our conversation, ignoring the spiteful act of the rotten corpse lying in the corner. Too many times we had to witness those despising rants concerning strangers joining the funeral service without being properly invited.
'Since when do the (un)dead send out invitations for their funeral processions?', I asked myself many times. 'And are they really interested in the mourners' names? Do they also want to know their social insurance number?'
But most importantly, who appointed that carcass to be our host's spokesperson? Was it the dear departed himself, who asked her to take care of his crypt while he's busy pretending to be someone else? I highly doubt that!!!
So, we welcomed the startled visitor, who hesitantly joined in our amusing discussion.
What a wonderful night!!!
Unfortunately, this is not the only place where the crypt keeper is trying to convince the mourners to exclude certain persons from being a part of the death watch. And somehow her paraonoia appears to be highly contagious.
Yes, I know, those people are all part of a big conspiracy, whose plan it is to bring down the holy crypt, brick by brick.
We also don't want to see our host being mentioned in the obituaries section of every magazine in the world!
No, we certainly don't want that!!!
Of course, it is a bit unusual to burst out laughing on a death watch, but hey...I couldn't help it!!!
And as I sit here telling you what happened the other night I suddenly have an idea for a new epitaph:

Apparantly, while on the way to the emergency room she kept moaning to her husband about how, if she lost her toe, she wouldn't be able to wear flip-flops in the summer. That's priorities for you! :P

Yep, that's the cut I got. But my hairdresser blowdried it sleek, so right now it looks more like Edie Segwick But I can style it either way.

hey anon, you are right. i do not think this is the work of gerar way. do you know why, it is because i saw with my very own eyes gerard way on buzznet talking to all his friends there. he has lots af pictures and has many friends. i also saw mrs way, mama way, gerards gal, lyn-z and you can think of all the rest.
so i know that it isnt him because clearly he is a buzzet addict and loves it there. why come over here when he has all his friends and family in buzznet.
oh thats right i see him in INO as well, and all of his friends and family.

Maybe its not that our website isn't working. Did you ever think that for one second that it might be that your computer has a problem with our site and not our site at all??
No. You haven't. And that is because you are smart. Somewhere inside the internet sometimes things go wrong. Files get lost, hard drives crash, naked pictures get leaked etc. I asked the powers that be if our internet bill is all paid up and apparently it is so they have assembled a team of super geniuses to figure out what has happend to Takingbacksunday.com. Rest assured this will be taken care of soon. In the meantime you can douse your peepers with images of us and bathe your ears in our jams at our myspace page or anywhere else you get your TBS on.
What have WE been doing??
Well, Ill tell you. Putting pens to paper, headphones on, tuning up, writing, re-writing, re-re-writing and sorting through some of the finest 6 stringers in the land. New songs are happening and will probably blow your mind and cause another website crash.
But sit tight, stay warm, think big and we will be back in your face before you can learn how to fix the internet for us.

Kapu I was the anon earlier who said you had nice skin, you really do. When I was younger I had to take medicine to clear mine up. It's good now but when I was in high school it wasn't so good. I don't smoke though.

I wish I had full, thick curly hair, A. Then I'd grow it long. But it's wavy & fine, and just goes flat once it gets past a certain length. Luckily, I can rock the short cuts :)
RW, mine's definitely curly, but it's actually thin and very fine. I used to have short hair as a kid though. God, I hated it.
