Oh wow, okay! Awesome!
One of the best and most well-known Tahitian albums is "Tihati - Legend of Kalua". Note that that is Tihati and not Tahiti. It's got a few duds on there, ("On A Little Street In Singapore" as well as the opening number,) but a few truly awesome and gorgeous ones. A few really incredible percussion onces, too, the toere drums of Tahiti and all of that. Also it's got one of my favorite songs ever, Tiare, a gorgeous rendition of it.
If you're into the drumming of Tahiti, buy or download anything with the word 'Otea, because 'Otea mele has the best drumming, like, ever.
I just noticed, most of my Tahitian CDs are not labeled so I have no idea who many of the artists are. A lot of them are from seminars I went to, where some of the music was recorded, like, in the teacher's bathroom the weekend before the seminar. O_O I'm not over the moon about a lot of modern Tahitian music but some of it is really pretty. I just wish I could give you the actual names of the artists. God, now I feel so lame! ;D

i just set up the shifts today, actually -- the first one is this sunday, and the second tuesday.
it'a actually kind of funny how it works out -- i already took wednesday off from work (i have scads of vacation time available) so that i could go up to seattle to get the next issue of the umbrella academy. not knowing how or when i'd be working with the new job, i wanted to ensure that i wouldn't miss an issue, you see!
but now i had to take off tuesday as well, because one trial shift has to be a morning one -- so after tomorrow, i'm on break from the library for almost a week! lol
you just gotta love the inadvertent holiday, don't ya?

I never really watched Buffy.
It was on a free to air ststion we cannot pick up well out here in the bush (lol I'm only about 30km from the coast but may as well be hundreds! No mobile service, I have 2 satellites in the yard , one for tv and one for internet.)
but I think I would have liked it.
I may get to see it on pay, though they would have to go right back to the start lol

I still remember the when the show first premiered ten years ago. It brings back alot of great memories. I wrote some stories based off the series, but right now I'm editing one of them.
As for the show, seasons 1, 2, and 3 are my favorites.
Fave Buffy episode? I'm partial to Something Blue, Lover's Walk, and Pangs. Yep, I'm a Spike fan!

And, yes, I am a huge Buffy fan. It snowed a whole lot in my area tonight, so I've spent the evening doing nothing but shoveling, house-cleaning, and re-reading a bunch of comics. Lame on me.
