Siobhan, I think that Twuntburger is the same anon who came in here a few weeks ago, admitted to being a regular, and said similar things to me. There were two of them that day, too. That's what we were getting at, and that's what I was getting at when I said that they were cowards for not putting their name to that. That's when you stepped in and said, basically, Well why should they? they would only get insulted for their opinion!

First of all, Mayo, even though this wasn't a sunshine and flowers post, I am glad to see you feel comfortable enough with us to write without a safety net.
This is real life. It's not always pretty, it's not always kind, but it is life. Relationships are a lot like that too, you know. They can be the best and the worst, all rolled into one.
No one can push our buttons like the people we love. If we didn't care, it wouldn't matter. And the more we love, the more it matters. And the more it heals or hurts.
None of us are complete saints or complete sinners. We are all human, and we all say and do things we regret but are too proud to take back.
I have seen J. rip someone a new one who did not deserve it, as she has with me. We've done it to each other. We all sling the shit and force it down someone's throat at one time or another. It doesn't mean we don't care. It means human nature got the better of us. What IS important is how much they mean to you. How much do you want to keep that person in your life? What are you willing to do to look each other in the eye and say I'm sorry?
And what would you do if you never had the chance?
Let me give you a little hypothetical situation, boys:
You and your friend have had a gut-wrenching, piss on you fight.
The next morning, you get a phone call. There has been a horrific accident, involving a Mack truck that ran a red light and slammed into a car at 55 miles per hour.
You have no idea what is going on, what you are going to find, but you drive a 60 minute run in 25 minutes.
When you see the car, the only way you recognize it is from the color and the fact that someone points it out to you as being the car your friend was driving.
And the only thing you can do is fall on the ground and thank GOD that your friend is standing next to you with only cuts, bruises, burns and sprains.
Your friend is the one who pointed out the car.
And you look at the crumpled wreckage and realize your friend should not be standing there.
They should be dead.
But they aren't. Because they got another chance at life, and you realize what ever you were upset about is NOTHING compared to what you nearly lost.
Guess what, guys?
That really happened.
Now, think long and hard for a moment. What would you do if you got that call, and your friend was not there to point it out to you?
If the Ghost was truly a ghost.
If you became one yourself.
Think about what is really important. Work through it. If you love each other, it is worth it. I realize it is more complicated than any of us know, and it will not be easy or pretty.
But damnit, don't let it become too late. Give each other a chance to talk, to really listen. Be completely honest with each other, cry it out, scream, whatever you need to do. But do it.
Fuck the rest of the world. Do it for each other.

And not to be rude, Hello, to my Family, all of you. I don't mean to post a long-ass comment and run, but I am going to get something to eat and rest for a bit.
My Mum's surgery went very well, but we did have a little more "excitement" than we thought. My parents and I got to the hospital on Monday at 7:00 a.m. and checked Mum in for day surgery. My Dad had been having stomach pain for a couple of days and it was worse that morning, so I took him over to the E.R. while they were getting Mum ready.
Ok, for the next 3 hours I literally ran between day surgery and the E.R. Finally, they decided to keep my Dad in the hospital, so I took Mum home and had my sister go to the hospital to check on Dad after they got him in a room. I took Mum back the next morning for a follow up, checked with the doc, turns out Dad had excessive acid, so he was allowed to go home yesterday with a ton o' medicine.
In the meantime, one of my parents cats got on the roof, (don't ask me how) but they managed to get down by themselves, thankfully before I had to get the ladder out, (this was at 2 in the morning) and last night the dog got choked on a small bone and I was out doing the Heimlich on a beagle at 4:00 in the morning. (He's ok, just a bit of a sore throat now).
I had the hysterical giggles this morning before I left for here.

PH the school is updating their computers and asked for tenders for 6 old ones (well they are 2 yrs old) so it was only $350
my laptop is good but doesn't have a huge memory.
the new one is a desk top pc , it says "optima" and looks pretty flash.
Thats about all I know, and it has windows xp (I have win 2000) so I need to install programs (eep!)
We need one for the business but I may leave the new one here and use the laptop in there, though they didn't get rid of all 6 so I may get another next year.
my laptop came from my brother's school for free as it was old and a bit damaged (on off button and case)
