I am sitting at a table with friends, it is dark and loud. I am bored. I am absently searching for something affecting to distract me, when I spot myself sitting across the room. I am at a table with some friends…and I am staring right back at myself. I am unable to look away. The gaze between us has me transfixed. Then he, the other me, shuns me with a smirk and joins the conversation at his table. He is speaking, and his hands are gesturing along with his alluring tale. His friends are captivated by the unconstrained other me. I envy his ease. Now I am alone at my table and I am singing to the other me. My song is pleading for him to hear, to once again find me, but he does not. And just as I am about to stop singing, you grab my hand and pull me up from my chair, and I wake up.
p.s. it is because the light reflected from painted glass is ambiguous. mirror me in your words, and that is where I find clarity. as do you, in each others.

Aloha. To answer your question, basically this is like a kind of online role-playing game. No one knows who anyone is and that's part of the fun. A few of us "know" each other through blogger, LJ or MySpace but that's the extent of it. It's sort of like Chuck Palahniuk's Haunted, with the mysterious host and the group of crazy writers, only we're hopefully not that crazy. Also a little like D&D except with mafias and nurses and crusaders, ninjas, villains and victims. That sort of thing.
We have poetry, dreams, images and metaphors that are like little mysteries to solve. If you can't keep up with the ambiguous talk, if you aren't quick of mind and fleet-fingered, you miss out on a lot. (I miss out on a lot. ^_^ )
Pretty purple unicorn is our resident troll with the IQ of a dustbunny. All online communities have to have someone who resents other people having fun, PPU is ours.
And, uhh, it's already been proven that SS is not Frank, when he posted a few times while MCR were on stage. Mayo did that once, too. ^_^

I just want to say because of all the drama today that although I only made my first post yesterday, I have been here for what seems like forever. Not fucking yet. I hope you have enjoyed my attempts at freestyling shit today. I have a tendancy to way overthink things sometimes so I just turned that off today. Maybe it worked, maybe it didn't.

Well, like I said way, way earlier. It's getting crowded in here so I think I will retreat back to my own blog for the night. A MESSAGE FROM BOB
Hi, it's Bob. We are very sorry about canceling our recent show in Maine. I have been having many problems with my wrists over the past few years. They have been getting worse but I kept playing. I have seen many doctors to get some relief so I wouldn't have to stop playing. I guess I pushed it too hard this time. During our show at Maxwell's I got a golf ball-sized lump in my wrist, I started to not only have pain, but lose control and feeling in my fingers. I went through a process to control the swelling and attempted to play the show with Bon Jovi the next day. The Bon Jovi show was really bad for me - I was dropping sticks and could barely hit my drums. After that show we decided I had to go get immediate treatment. I had to leave the tour. Being the stubborn person I am, I made a last minute decision to give it another shot on the second Bon Jovi show. It didn't work, we had to cut the set in half. We have a fill in now as I am getting treatment - he learned the songs in one day. We will try our hardest to make the show up to you when the specialists give me the okay. Thanks for understanding.
