Didn't Gerard once say that Frank is the kind of friend who is incredibly loyal to his friends. He said Frank is passionate and outspoken, he will tell you when you are wrong whether you want to hear it or not, but he is the kind of guy who you can count on to always be there for you, the kind of guy who you can depend on, the kind of guy who would help you bury the body.
We should never underestimate the history and complex relationship those two have.

Ok, I think Frank would tell him his 'opinion', but Frank is not going to jeopardize his friendship with Gerard by completely pissing him off. I think he is an awesome friend. Mikey on the other hand, has ties to Gerard that no one else has. He knows the 'real' Gerard and the 'real' truth. And, no matter what, they will ALWAYS be brothers. Princess Smoke...completely agree with you. This has always been about 2 brothers and their battle. This shit is personal, family kind of personal.
Frank is an outstanding human being. The world needs more Franks, but he is not a shit stirrer. Betrayal is not in him. He's caught in the middle of a shitty situation. It's tough to be someone's friend and love them and support them without enabling them. It's a fine line to have to walk and I'm sure it gets tiring. I hope he keeps fighting but sometimes you have to walk away and save yourself.

I think a lot of people underestimate Mikey. I think the personality he shows to the world might not be the exact personality he has "behind closed doors". Sure, what he shows us is part of his personality. I don't believe him to be faking it, but I just don't think he shows us everything. With that said, I think you all are correct in saying that Frank would step up to Gerard and lay it all on the line, get everything out he's feeling. I don't think he'd be the type of person to hold anything back. But, I also think that Mikey, given a situation, would be the first to throw a bucket of ice water in his brother's face to wake him up. I don't think he'd just sit back and allow his brother to recede into dark depths. I'm sure Mikey has a pretty strong backbone when it comes to his family and friends.
Right on Anon2007. Mikey is finally trying to be his own person and live his own life. Without Gerard taking over.

I'd also just like to add that I think the Mikey we all see is due in large part to what Gerard sees. And we all know we hear more about what Gerard sees than any of the other guys. Mikey is his little brother and I think, although he's 27 now, Gerard has ingrained in Mikey's mind the fact that he will always be the "little brother".

Do I think Gerard intentionally did this? No. It's just one of those things that comes up over and over again, then you finally start to believe it. In every situation, it seems that Mikey isn't adult enough because that label sticks. I hate that for him because it's always like he's in Gerard's shadow and he can't step out of it. If this particular Mayo blog holds any truth and any of us are correct in believing it may be a personal account of the "tiff" between Gerard and Mikey, this may be the beginning of Mikey's own person. I guess we can only wait and see.

You hit the nail on the head!!! There is some battle waging between brothers, inner personal battles. Mikey has always followed Gerard since a baby; trying to catch up, keep up, see what big brother is going to do next. Don't get me wrong they are very close; closer than most brothers, I think.
My opinion, I think Mikey is trying to figure out where he will be when he can no longer catch up, keep up with Gerard. Gerard's personnality and creativity is far brighter than little bro!

I'm going to have to disagree just a little bit. I think the reason, as I stated before, Mikey's personality isn't as "bright" is because he's dimmed by Gerard's overpowering personality. He can't fit in between it. He can't shine. He's always going to be Gerard's little brother first, bassist for MCR second, and himself last. But I do agree that Gerard's personality is very bright, quite personable at times, too.
As for creativity, I think Mikey has a shitload, but again, Gerard just chooses to talk about his or show his all of the time. I'd love to be at a recording session or writing session with them just to see what complex bass parts Mikey comes up with that probably get shot down.
I think you're most definitely right when saying that Mikey's probably trying to figure out where he'll be when he's no longer at his brother's coat tail. He'll either be completely lost because that's all he's ever known, or he'll be released from shackles that have held him down and he can begin to be JUST Mikey Way.
Here is just a thought. When Gerard was engaged to Eliza he seemed so different. Almost like he was content. Eliza was Mikey's friend, they were close. Gerard wanted what Mikey had. He wanted to be married, he wanted to settle down. I think he believed that he could have this with Eliza. He could have what Mikey had found. But then Mikey went away and Gerard started to change. Suddenly what he thought he wanted wasn't right anymore. He didn't want the house in California complete with dog. He went back to his old ways. It was like he changed his mind about shit. He became unengaged. But sad to say I don't think he realized that he couldn’t be alone. It's not in his personality. He has to have someone to make himself feel complete. PR came and he found someone to be with and she fit the crazy, wild lifestyle he had gone back to. No, I was never a fan of Eliza but I think in some ways she got a bad deal. He was just looking for someone to settle down with and she was there. I think she was always there. Yeah, I've heard all the comments about her wanting fame and using him. Well I think he used her too. Come on, who could blame her? She was engaged to a guy who wouldn't say her name in public. That's gotta suck. I think in his heart he knew it wasn't gonna work. I think she wanted to believe it could. Now he's got someone who, and I just guessing, is enjoying the attention she gets from being with him. Gerard can't be alone. Maybe he's starting to realize this about himself. Have his friends tried to tell him this all along? Did he just settle for someone, anyone, so he wasn't alone?

Could not agree more, because I personally do that, too. Some things are just way to personal to discuss, so you cover it up with something that sounds just as good, and kind of has the same meaning. Always evading the actual truth. I can relate to this record because of that. This whole Black Parade record is about GERARD, no one else. It's about his thoughts. Sure, the others probably threw stuff in there, but it's about him.
As far as the resemblance between them, I used to think they didn't look anything alike. As they've grown older, I see their likeness more and more. Neither one was adopted in my book.

There have been rumours in the past that they may be half-brothers. There's definitely some resemblences - particularly noticable when Gerard's thinner - such as their eyes & cheekbones. I think Mikey looks a lot like his mother. But I don't think Gerard especially resembles either parent.

From what I've gathered, he and Pete Wentz were in a band together at one point. But, pictures on his livejournal show some of the guys and I thought he and Mikey were pretty close. Yes Chris and Mikey were friends when E.Cuts was "dating" Gerard. Anyone remember the video of Mikey being sex into the bird boy's crew. Especially the end of the tape where Gerard walks in and taps Cuts on the back. When I saw that part I knew there was something going on between him and Cuts. But that she was all into him and he seemed very complacent with her. (sorry about the spelling, I'm in a hurry)
Well I can say loveman is NOT Heychris - just talk to them on AIM they are there every night, and quite chatty.
Mikey has a hell of a lot of talent, he's just quieter on camera I think. Gerard takes over for everybody. Remember Mikey was in bands first, got Gerard his job, plays kickball (lol Nutbusters need him) I just think he gets overshadowed but i'm sure he isn't the compliant type, I bet he stands up to him, we just don't see it. It is easy to add interpretations to things like this, especially given new actions and assumptions. I think you should remember Ray writes most of the music and the lyrics aren't just Gerard's doing. I believe Mikey has hidden depths, and is more integral to the band than anyone really realizes.
I agree RW. That's the reason I said that I think most people underestimate Mikey. He may be the "spiritual advisor", but from where I sit on this situation, it looks like he's a hell of a lot more than that. He's looking like the glue that holds this whole thing together. I hope that he's back with them soon and able to cope with whatever may be happening in the camp. I hope he can bring us all back to reality.

Completely agree with you black jacket. I, for one, am not here because I think these blogs hold the gospel regarding the band, Gerard, or any one of the guys. I lurked over at INO for a while before coming here. I've not seen the Myspace for myself, but the general concensus over at imnotokay.net is that the Myspace is a fake. Take it for what you will. I don't know if there's any truth behind it or not.
I just wish whoever it was would come up with a better hamster name. Arty? Art-y? Artistic? Stupid.
A friend of mine is the hamster's friend on myspace.
Apparently the owner of the myspace "just wants to be referred to as a hamster" and has J.Nestor's "friends only" account as their friend. So they are a RL friend of hers. My friend said that once they gave out an email and people could talk to them online. I dunno the email and my friend never added them to their contact list or anything but w/e.
I agree that it is possibly fake.

He also said about a contract not being signed and that Mikey would never return to the band. The copying isn't only the backstage nuptials, but also the fact that both their wives are bass players.
Would he really go to such extremes to marry a bass player in the same manner backstage as his brother to exact some form of revenge, or settle some score? That is just sound ludicrous. If he really is dicing with his own personal happiness because of some paranoid illusion of control or retribution I would say he is more than messed up, I would be inclined to believe him to fit the mold of having a personality disorder closely resembling a sociopath.
And considering the way he reportedly left his previous love ( addressed in Loveman's blog), it fits.

Yes, however mental illness is a biological dysfunction of the brain. A personality disorder is a structural problem of the brain, not a dysfunction, kind of say.. a computer with unusual programs that work, but don't help you.
If you have a mental illness, that does not automatically qualify you to be an asshole. Most assholes have no mental illness, they just see that the world needs to revolve around their own needs.
And a lot of assholes tend to be "right" fighters as well.
I believe that this blog is addressing SS. He seems to be appealing to someone for help. (while I invoke). I just hope he this is not a devious ploy to draw out SS.
First of all, I don't think Gerard's mental illness (has he even been diagnosed with anything besides possible depression?) has anything to do with the rumored ways he's dumped his girlfriends. How do we know FOR SURE that Eliza and "Kat" were dumped in the ways that they were. From what I have read, none of that was set in stone. It was only speculation from a certain post written by someone on the "inside" and puzzle pieces FANS had fit together. I'm just saying that what we think may have happened may not be truthful.
Secondly, I don't think that Gerard is seeking out a plot of revenge against Mikey. Of course there are things that we will never know in the 30 years they've known each other. There's absolutely no telling why Gerard has skipped from girl to girl, nor is their a logical reason why he's chosen a bass player as a wife like Mikey. It could all be coincidental. I don't think Gerard's trying to one-up Mikey.
I do believe, however, Gerard's swiftness in the past few months with relationships has a lot to do with Mikey and turning 30. Like I'm sure a lot of people here believe, Gerard realised his age and believed he needed to be married, to be "grown up". He saw his brother, 3 years younger than him, starting a life of his own when in the back of his mind, he knew he was supposed to be the one to do it first. I think that started this whole shebang with the quick engagements and disengagements. He rushed into something so quick so that he was able to have what Mikey had, but saw that it didn't work out, so he tried again. I just hope that this time it's for good and he's happy.

I am in no place to judge, but I will just put my opinion out there. I'm not sure, in regards to the Ways being fathers, that either one of them at this point would be ready to be one. From what the fans see, how could we think any different, especially with Gerard? Mikey may be completely different as he tends to show a more reserved personality. If I had to place bets, I would say Mikey would end up a father first, intentionally. Gerard may be first unintentionally. Again, let me just say that that is my opinion and I'm not judging their characters, nor am I judging their personal lives. That's just what I see.
Men are usually fathers by accident, most ( not all) women consciously make that choice. If there are children, ultimately the approval rest with the ladies.

I have seen so many faces of Mr.Way, and i truly believe there are a lot of different personalities at play here, you can look at one face and see so much kindness of hart, one of a little boy so Innocent, one of knowledge of a man in charge, then look at another one and see the mischievous look of " Look at me i have no underwear on" one face of pity and one of sadness.
Then there is the face, that even scared the hell out of me, with the look of a demon, so dark and cold, so many faces, so many personality changes, one would think Mr.Way has a twin, but alas he is only one person.

No, I didn't forget that. My whole defense, if you read up a few posts is that, in my opinion, Gerard and Mikey are not ready to be dads. I have no room to judge whether or not they are going to be fit parents because I don't know them. But, from what antics and issues we've seen as fans, I think I am in my right to have such an opinion.
And to further that, my statement about bringing a child into this world being a miraculous event had ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with Gerard and Lyn-Z. It was a personal opinion. And I still believe that.

Yes, I'm afraid. I did my homework and searched through those girls' myspaces, and Arty's and their pages are all connected. None of the band members has an official myspace. Mikey did have one at one point, but he erased it. The only person close to the band who has a page is Alicia herself. Whatever profiles you find on that website are completely, absolutely, 100% fake. With Gerard's condition, do not expect he'll have kids anytime soon. He admitted he does not want to have any if he feels if he is not "right in the head" if you know what I mean.
Gerard did have a myspace once upon a time, but it got closed down about 18 months ago. It was pretty boring though. Just stuff about light sabers and pocket dimensions.

And why does that turn so many of you on? I'm all for treating people equally and with respect, but the fact is, homosexuality is not normal.
I think all you teenies are so unsure of yourselves and your sexuality is such a new and scary thing, that you find it safer to play with your own gender. It's what you know. The opposite sex is foreign to you and you're just afraid of it.
Blast me all you want, but in the end, the FACT remains that it is not normal, no matter what Hollywood tries to tell you. Your maker did not create man for man and woman for woman. And He has condemned it.

Frerard was invented by mcr to try and stop homophobia, i think God will smile down on them for that. They are trying to make the world a more understanding one in that instance.
Maybe Gods real test is to see whether people will blindly follow the rule of condenment or think for themselves and not judge by something as trivial as sexual preference.
I personally think it would be the latter.

After reading KYEOTR again, I have decided that they are just someone else who is sad over the death of someone. I don't think they are signinficant to the blog wars of Loveman and Mayo. I don't think they are SS.
I do feel for kyeotr though. I hope they can get through whatever it is that they are going through.

I noticed someone had commented on kyeotr's post asking who had died or if someone had died and that they hoped they didn't bring up bad memories. I thought that was a little insensitive especially for being on the internet conversing with a stranger, but anyway. Not my place to judge. I do hope that if that is the case they find solitude in their memories of the person and that they may be able to find peace in their death.

Very intriguing. I just read all of the blogs from Mikey's point of view and all of it makes so much sense! The only one that does not work is the blog about waking up late and smoking cigarettes. Unless it was meant to be from some elses perspective.

Just to go back to the Bob wrong name topic...I met MCR in February. The usual set up, the guys sitting at a table, wait in line to get a few minutes with each. So it was Ray, Frank, Bob, Mikey, then last but not least Gerard.
When I approached him he smiled, then held out his hand and (in the quietest voice) said "Hi, I'm Gerard." It was sweet, but I found it to be kinda, well, ridiculous. I knew he was Gerard. So I replied (most naively) "Oh, I thought you were Bob." Bob and Mikey overheard this and about lost it. So Bob introduces himself to the next person as Gerard. The person thought he was nuts.
I could tell Gerard was a little embarrassed, but he laughed along. He was sweet.
It was great fun. And the guys are truly beautiful.
P.S. Hey, if this is really you...I met you again in August and it just wasn't the same. Know what I mean? Shame, really.

This is the last post I intend to write, but I won't promise. I never make promises I'm not sure I can keep.
I hope you are getting the help you need, and that maybe you won't need this blog much longer either. After all, that's what this was all about in the first place.
You concurred with me regarding my comparison between you and your brothers-in-arms and the BOY and his lads, even though you don't believe you are on an even keel.
It doesn't matter what deck of the ship you are on, the boat goes down the same way, and the lifeboats are still the only thing that save you.
Don't be afraid or too proud to find and cling to that lifeboat, if they will still let you on, or don't whack you in the head with an oar.
You seem to need strong people in your life, but when this side of you comes out, you exchange them for the weak-willed.
I've noticed most people are afraid to confront you, to defy you, to challenge you.
You need someone who will tell you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear. I have a feeling you've needed that most of your life.
The worst thing any of us can do to another person is put them upon a pedestal, expect them to be the perfect image we have projected onto them. This doesn't allow for mistakes. So when you do make mistakes, it's a long way down from that perch, especially when you are in the public eye.
We all make mistakes. We all have several facets of personality, good and bad. Most people suppress all but one or two of these layers. The more intelligent you are, the more layers you have. In your case, I think all of your emotions fight to come out at the same time, and whichever is strongest at the time is what bullies its way out.
All of these facets are part of you, and it's o.k. that they are there. Even the worst ones are part of you and should be embraced. The key is not to let the dark ones take over. I understand this all too well.
I have visited your school. I have seen your students. I recognized all of them.
But the Guidence Counslor's office was conspicuously empty.
I didn't miss the axiom.
Where I am from, we like to tell people "I love you" when we mean it. On the phone, when we arrive or leave our friends' and families' homes, or just because.
Too many people are afraid to use those words, afraid the words will mean more than they want to give, afraid they will lose face.
But love is not wrong, no matter what form it takes, and we need to tell each other as often as possible. It's what makes the world go round, after all.
