guts

It is interesting when you get a fresh perspective of yourself from a new acquaintance. Even at this reasonably accomplished age, I am still able to find myself anew.

Recently, I have been fortunate to gain the friendship of an interesting character. A smart, quick-witted, young “old chap” of a guy whose creativity and open-minded ideals speak volumes for his generation. At his age I was not nearly as wise, worldly, cultured, present, or relevant as he is. Even now his intellect far exceeds my own, and his ability to perceive others astounds me. He is very deliberate with his words, often taking what seems to me to be far too long to respond to my often off-kilter banter. But always following his reflection, he delivers an astute, provocative discourse on whatever topic I had mindlessly rambled into. Seriously, the guy can talk me under the table…and that is saying something.

And I must admit he is a bit off, as well. Regardless, or perhaps in spite of those facts, I find him very interesting.

As it goes with most new friendships there is the crush period. The time where everything about the new friend is fascinating and we often try to find a bit of ourselves in our new pal. And so my new friend has attempted to find fascination in me, and has asked for the privilege (his term, not mine) of reading some of my writing. I initially waved him off, figured he would find what he wanted or give up. But, after the third very polite request, I obliged.

It is strange; I can write for an unknown audience without fear. I can put it out there for the world to read, all of it…without a second thought. Yet when I directly hand over a few poems to my new friend, I am paralyzed.

As I said, my new friend is very perceptive. So, when I stuffed a few of my poems in his hand and continued on about the weather, he immediately detected my insecurity. He saw in my rushed speech and downcast eyes that I was nervous. And while I waited for him to speak, to interrupt my prattle, I reeled. He placed the pages face down on the table, then said “Ah yes, I see I was correct. You are an exhibitionist and shy, both.”

Which really put me to thought…what purpose am I serving with these characteristics, if characteristics do in fact serve us?

I suppose that those opposing characteristics, that in my case are so apparently extreme, benefit each other. I can only imagine that my unchecked exhibitionism would undoubtedly lead me to my depraved end, and that my need to slap the world in the face keeps me from becoming a total shut-in.

p.s. what you got in you; what it takes.

I'm dry, family and cats are dry, yard etc not so much. But after about 10 inches of rain in 24 hrs you can't expect much left undampened!
The system has moved south of us now so we will have a much easier night tonight, it was just a bit scary last night with all the wind gusting into the house, then at 5am there was lighting and thunder to go with the rain bucketing down

how are you? still snowy?

toujours said...

the wind can be so scary, it has a such a huge sound. (it's exciting, too, of course!)

still snowy here, or i should say, still snowed. we ended up with about 5" (almost 13 cm) not counting drifts.

i went out into the fields and woods today. it was quite a work-out! but so beautiful. and even more so tonight, what with the full moon in a clear sky. it makes the snow almost glow. :)

Anonymous said...

I wish too. :I

ergoproxy said...

oh it must look so pretty, all sparkly. I don't think we'll see any moon again tonight.
It was a bit exciting with the wind. I had to go out and turn over a table on the front veranda and I stood in the wind (the rain wasn't heavy) and the sky lighting up, quite exhilarating

Amyranth said...

I love the sound of the wind gusting during a summer storm. Thunder and lightning just make it better, but there have been times where I've wondered if the next clap was going to blow the house apart.

We had a storm last summer that woke me out of a dead sleep, it was like there was a bunch of strobe lights set on stun outside, and you'd have sworn someone was beating on the house with a large, hollow pipe.

Man, I can't WAIT for summer again.

toujours said...

hi amyranth!

see that's how i feel about storms too -- completely energized. well, maybe not if they woke me up out of a sound sleep...

Amyranth said...

Here it is on film, from the downtown core.

Not that I'm assuming that nobody's seen a storm before, but this one was pretty cool. I like the sound of rain, even in the wintertime.

ergoproxy said...

hi amy!
this wind woke us up from dead sleep, it was really hitting the house, DH had to go out and upturn the trampoline as we didn't want it across the paddock (as happened to friends last weekend)

toujours said...

aw, i can't watch it. :(

but you guys get some pretty intense storms, don't you? i remember a family friend from calgary always complaining about the "damn prairie" when it came to weather. lol

ergoproxy said...

oh Tom is in BG's old stroller
she's playing with her dolls with it
she tried to get him out and he kept grabbing it and going all floppy so she couldn't pick him up
and he won!

toujours said...

that's a clever cat! such a cute mental image too! :3

Amyranth said...

Teej, we get very intense storms very quickly. I've been outside in the summer, say walking from the mall to the house, and the sky will cloud over, drop a few drops, and suddenly... KABOOM.

Torrential rains, gusts that soak you on one side and keep you bone dry on the other, and lightning that'll drive you indoors for safety.

10 minutes later, it's all over. And you're still soaked to the skin, and deaf from the thunder.

ergoproxy said...

he does know the best spots, it looks very comfortable

toujours said...

amazing, amyranth. wow. that would be something to experience!

back in montana where i lived, storms would take all day to build up, especially summer thunderstorms. the thunderclouds would hang over the mountains like huge buildings, enormous sculptures. and then at night, rain and thunder and rain!

Amyranth said...

Did you get the pricklies looking at them Teej? I love storm buildups like that, but it's been my experience here that if the storm takes all day to build, it won't actually happen here.

Ergo, I had a cat that would sleep on the heating vents in the winter sometimes. She looked comfortable, but she had really dry skin. :/

ergoproxy said...

I can hear thunder now to the west

toujours said...

oooh, ergo, did we summon it up with all our talk of thunderstorms???

amyarnth, i wouldn't get prickly, but in the evening when the wind strated to pick up, i would get hyper and have to run around in the yard. lol

ergo, i've read it's because of the negative ions all stirred up in the air, just like near waterfalls. i don't know if that's accurate science or not, but i like it!

ergoproxy said...

it makes scientific sense, storms especially cumulo nimbus clouds create a separation of charge and some people are more aware of electrical fields than others, like those who feel "ghosts" with fields in houses, they've replicated some in labs
and some animals are a lot more sensitive to earth energies as well.
There is a lot our senses ad brains can do that isn't fully understood

toujours said...

oh very cool! sometimes i think some of my ideas about how things work may have been picked up while married to a new ager. :/

by earth energies you mean like the magnetic field? i'd read that birds might be using that in their migrations.

ergoproxy said...

oh some can be infrasound too, lower than we can here from distant thunder

toujours said...

ooh wow! stuff like that is so interesting to think about, and especially when the general assumption is that science has already discovered most everything. there are really so many mysteries...

*gazes off into the stars*

ergoproxy said...

yes pigeons and sharks as well as others navigate by the magnetic fields
there are also things called tropisms, which means to move, so geotropism is to move in relation to the gravitational field, plant shoots are negatively geotrophic which is away from the natural pull, roots are positively, so they grow with the pull, that's how they 'know' which way is up to grow. We sense it too of course.
There are tropisms to do with light, sun movements, humidity pretty much everything, and chemotropisms to different chemicals like hormones or nutrients

if you put a germinating seed on a slowly spinning turntable it'll grow horizontal, shoot inwards root outwards as the centripetal force confuses it and it goes with that instead of gravity

a lot of ground organisms have senses to the weather and climate, moving up or down in soil, as well as largre things and even bacteria do it. It is linked to triggering breeding behaviour and lots of stuff.
So all the tales of animals predicting weather are often based in fact.

mayo,

i went out and walked through the field and the woods this afternoon. there were no tracks except for mine and tracks of a dog (or a coyote. the timing of the tracks, given the amount they were filled in, makes it seem likely it wasn't a neighborhood dog...)

it was cold and bright and i just didn't care to be careful, so i tromped everywhere and through a creek and even lay down in the field and took pictures of myself in the snow (they turned out really cool, like i was a frozen corpse!)

it's difficult to explain how i felt. i love being out in the snow, the cold and the change is invigorating, but things are pretty damn frustrating right now too, so i was tromping around feeling angry at the same time i was having fun.

it was a very strange excursion. but satisfying.

take care, mayo. sweet dreams.

Welshie said...

Well I'm bloody pissed off!
You see I'm a member of the local chapel, but to be honest I never go except for Harvest Thanksgiving service. I guess it's the norm for most young people here. Anyway I've always paid my annual membership and taken part in all their money raising projects. I pay up simply because I don't want the place to close down because a lot of elderly people still go to the chapel.

Well apparantly this year they want everyone to double their contributions because they need to do some repairs to the chapel, which I guess is fair enough.

Now as everyone knows in the village I had to take unpaid leave from my job since last April to look after my sister. I've only gone back to work this last month.
I admit I have a lot of debts.
So I wrote out a cheque for what I could afford together with a little note explaining my situation and sent it to the chapel elders. This morning I got a letter stuffed through my letterbox telling me that because I hadn't contributed the full amount they thought it best for me to take my name off the chapel books. They've bloody thrown me out of chapel. So I guess you can be a member if you're rich but if you're poor then bugger off!

I know that I don't go to chapel regularly but that's not the point, I am a member there and my family have been members since it was built over 100 years ago. I'd understand it if they'd thrown me out because I don't attend the services, but to ask me to leave because I've fallen on hard times is bloody wrong.
I can't tell you how angry I am.

Well good riddance I say!

And of course it's bloody snowing again. I'm off to build a snowman and kick the hell out of him! Grrr.

Sorry about my rant I know it's of no interest to anyone else but I had to get it off my chest!

Now if they'd thrown me out because I swear too much then I'd probably have to agree with them :)

Amyranth said...

Welshie, not impressed but not surprised either.

My cousin got married almost 10 years ago, and she was pregnant at the time. Only 5 months along, mind you, AND marrying the father of the baby, but she was pregnant regardless.

My Great-Aunt, who is her mom, had to go to the Bishop to obtain a "dispensation" because the family's priest would not marry her in the church so long as she was pregnant.

That "dispensation" added an extra $2000 to the wedding budget, let me tell you. And if I didn't think my mother would burst into flame if I didn't get married in the church (Who am I kidding, she's been nothing but hellfire to start with. X|) I'd have a civil union.

ergoproxy said...

good morning!

welshie that sounds very unfair, you'd think they'd be appreciative of any help people are able to give. I wonder if the chapel elders are the ones running the drive, that is, that they were a party to writing the letter. That could have been done by someone just looking at the list of figures. I'd write a letter saying how hurt you are, and that in your time of need and hardship you'd expect understanding, never hurts to remind what the true meaning of charity is to those who may have forgotten.I can't imagine all the elderly parishioners etc could afford to double contributions so you may not be the only one.

Amy, that sort of thinking in churches is really outdated but still exists. They forget that Jesus preached to the lowly and went against accepted religious dogmas of his time, to reach out. That's why I am part of the Uniting Church in Aust. it, like other break offs from Catholic and Anglican is a lot less judgemental, and though not perfect, a lot more accepting of all human differences.

Welshie said...

Well I've calmed down now.
Ergo, Amy, what hurt me most is that the church elder who signed and delivered the letter has known me all my life and knows my circumstances.
I know he has a difficult job trying to balance the books, and the chapel is in financial difficulty but a little bit of compassion wouldn't go amiss.

I remember being dragged to Sunday School with mam, I hated it, but she insisted that we went with her. My dad never went to chapel. He used to say that you don't have to go to chapel to be a Christian. If you're a good person and treat everyone equally and with respect then that's all that counts.

I think my dad was right all along.

ergoproxy said...

hey welshie, well seeing as the person knew the entire story then it does seem quite heartless
I agree with your father, faith is a personal issue, and living your faith is far more important. Coming together with others to worship is only part of it and if circumstances mean you are unable to do that, it doesn't negate your faith at all. It can certainly lead to new learning and understanding, fellowship and support which is a very enriching experience, but if you aren't receiving that then it's a reflection on the congregation rather than your personal faith, there have been many people, and numerous very high profile people, who have been "seen" to attend church and whose outward appearance tells a story their heart doesn't reflect.

Welshie said...

Oh Ergo you're such a wise person. You always know just what to say. I envy you, I really do. Trying to translate my thoughts from Welsh to English always gets me in a right pickle. Nothing ever looks right when it's on the screen you know, and I just end up looking like a right plonker!! God knows what you all must think of me at times.

Well it's bedtime for me.

Thanks again Ergo and Amyranth.

Night night.

Amyranth said...

I think your Dad was right too. You don't need to go to God's House to find him, because if you need God that badly, and you look, he's everywhere.

She, too.

We should be right here
Get through all this fear
One of these days

Cause when it comes along
We should be right here
One of these days

This could be heaven

This could be heaven

Livin' for the part
Givin' from the heart
Now and forever

But if we let it wait too long
What we have is gone
Memory only

This could be heaven
Maybe we could start a life today
This could be heaven
Love instead of throwin' it all away
This could be heaven
You and me, we know we're our best friends
This could be heaven

Whoever thought we would get this far
Tryin' for all these years
The thought that we would fade away
Was more than I could bear
Oh, I would do anything if you would stay
If you'd stay

Say

We should be right here
Get through all this fear
One of these days

One of these days

This could be heaven
Turnin' it on for human kind
With you by my side
This could be heaven

Sure we could decide to run away
But we'd run away from all this here
This could be heaven

This could be heaven

This could be heaven

I'm the loneliest star from the sun
But I feel that I'm close to the one
Who will stop me from coming undone

Cause I'm free
I have been close
I have been almost near (who do you really want to make it, who do you want to kill)
But city light
But nothing quite like here (who do you really want to be right here)

And your love, (your love) is a light that binds us both, (your love)
With each breath in me I hope
We won't throw it all away

Don't you know that I'm free and I'm young
I'm the loneliest star from the sun
And I feel that I'm close to the one
Who will stop me from coming undone

(With your love)
I know that I could be the best with,
(With your love)
I know that I can take a risk with
(With your love)
I could fly with your love
(With your love, with your love)
If anyone would try and mess with
(With your love)
you and I would be possessed with
(With your love)
I would die for you love
(With your love)

Don't you know that I'm free and I'm young
I'm the loneliest star from the sun

no coyotes tonight...yet!

i had to go further than i thought to find the tracks. they had sounded like they were right behind the house! it even made the dog wake up and sit there all alert and quivering.

but there were no tracks in the woods except mine until i got almost all the way to the ridge, and then just the track of a single animal. but wehn i went out onto the field just behind the trees, at the very top of the ridge, there they were, a whole bunch of dog prints, following the line of the trees.

*shiver*

that's not even a quarter of a mile away!

ergoproxy said...

and coyotes are dangerous? (I can't remember if you said) see dingoes you hear but generally they stay away from people, sometimes they take calves and such but mostly that's actually feral dog packs, dingoes hunt native things like wallabies, so you aren't really worried about them being around

I think the Grammy's like a lot of award shows now are losing their relevance, seems there is an award every week and I think the dilution isn't good.
Sometimes awards seem to be given on sympathy votes or because of who people are as opposed to actual talent. That, of course doesn't apply to everyone who receives awards, but sometimes they seem to ignore genres entirely, certain countries are barely or never are represented or certain performers seem to get so many awards you wonder if it's just popularity or trendiness(that's all award shows, music, tv, film)
That's how I am starting to feel that it's sort of over-congratulting.

Miss T. It started snowing here on Saturday evening, then all day Sunday. Not half as bad as before but still everywhere is white. It looks nice but the roads are lethal. We really should go sledging together, but word of warning I do tend to lose control of my sledge as I'm whooshing down the mountainside. I have been known to end up in a few ditches. You have been warned! Bring a helmet. haha.

As regards the chapel, well as I said I never really went to the services so really nothing's changed but it was always there for me if ever I needed it you know. Now it feels as if they've slammed the door in my face. "Welshie you are the weakest link, goodbye" *slams door*.
To be honest I'm not a very religious person but when my sister was very ill I did find myself quietly praying, just a few words you know, nothing dramatic, but it did somehow help me. I suppose that just goes to prove that I don't need the chapel and that a few quiet words in a hospital waiting room is just as effective.
I do think they behaved in a very unchristian like manner.

I hope you have a good time in London. Good luck with the househunting. Watch out for any stray bagpipes!!!

Lady GaGa's apparel choices were painful. To wear I think and certainly to look at.

Anonymous said...

Lady Gaga fans/stans were very unhappy that she didn't win Album of the Year (that went to Taylor Swift), Record of the Year (KOL) or Song of the Year (Beyonce). In fact, I saw more than one death threat against Taylor Swift on ONTD. :(

Honestly. What is wrong with people? It's just an award. Besides, Lady Gaga is relatively new to the music scene and she doesn't have a very broad appeal (older people don't get her at all).

Fans need to understand that when they act like lunatics they drive a lot of people away from the artists they love.

Welshie said...

Oops. Sorry 'bout that anons. Bloody rude of me to ask you a question then bugger off just as you were answering me. My presence was needed elsewhere:)
Sorry mate.
Thanks a lot for the links. I'll have a look later on.

Well guess what I've just scoffed a bag of mini easter eggs! They were delicious. I know it's only February but damn it they were good. I've left another bag here for you all to share. Enjoy!

You can bet your sweet asses that every fangirl on this board would LOVE the grammies if MCR had won anything. But since they didn't and one of their God's is mad, it's "Oh the Grammies aren't relevent".

LMAO.

Anonymous said...

The "so-and-so aren't relevant" comments always crack me up. I mean, relevant to what? That particular person's tastes? So what? Tastes are subjective.

Obviously, the Grammy Awards are very relevant to the music industry. I didn't see Judas Priest or Jeff Beck turning them down. I never see anyone turning them down.

Had MCR been nominated, they would have been there with bells on, trying to schmooze it up with Beyonce and Jay-Z and probably having shots with KOL, Gerard's sobriety be damned. And in their heart of hearts, every MCR fan knows it.

Anonymous said...

Yup.... and then you'd see Elena and TJ saying how proud they were that MCR had won a Grammy and how glad they were and how great the Grammies were.

2:18 anon glad you got "cracked up" just a shame you can't actually read what I wrote

hope everyone is having a lovely day :]

Anonymous said...

EP, it is so hard to follow what you're saying most of the time because your writing is horrible. No capitalization, every other word spelled wrong. How is anyone supposed to really read through that mess. You just can't.

Anonymous said...

1:38 and 2:18,

I think the Grammy's are still one of the most relevant awards in the music industry.

Will you still feel they're relevant when MCR is nominated and if they do win in 2011?
or
Will you be the ones saying it doesn't mean anything and is irrelevant then?

Anonymous said...

I don't want to speak for either anon, but my own personal taste doesn't enter it. If MCR were to win millions of people would still tune into the Grammys and tweet endlessly about it the next day. People are talking about it. That - "relevent" and it doesn't have anything to do with who I like or who I don't like.

I don't like Taylor Swift but she won. Fortunately I'm not petty enough to say "oh well that makes it irrelevant".

Because I'm not a ridiculous 40+ year old fangirl over some boy band.

Anonymous said...

4:15,

It's the Grammys not the Grammies.

Anonymous said...

Fortunately I'm not petty enough to say "oh well that makes it irrelevant".

Who here was petty enough to say the grammys were irrelevant just because of who was nominated and won?
Where's the comment saying that?
I didn't see it.

2:18 anon glad you got "cracked up" just a shame you can't actually read what I wrote

My comment was not directed at you, Ergoproxy. It was a response to the anon who posted before me and I was mainly talking about the people on ONTD who constantly say that "so-and-so isn't relevant" anymore just because they don't like them. There was an awful lot of "the Grammys aren't relevant because Lady Gaga didn't win them all" going on over there. Many MCR fans are the same way.

I do find it very interesting that you took my comment personally. Are you always that narcissistic?

At any rate, I often skip over what you have to say because I don't like reading people who don't use proper punctuation. Also, I'm not interested in your Useless Fact for the Day or your not-so-funny jokes.

Everything is not always about you, but hey. If thinking the world revolves around you is what floats your boat, then by all means, continue to do so.

Welshie said...

I know very little about American bands. Never watched the Grammy's before, though I will take a look at the links that the anon kindly posted earlier on. My taste in music is quite boring I suppose. I like Opera, Gogol Bordello, Stereophonics, Welsh Male voice choirs, Ukelele Band of Great Britain, Arctic Monkeys, The Smiths, Radiohead, Steve Eaves, Ian Dury, Bjork, The Mummers, MUSE etc.
I don't really care if a band has won awards or not to be honest, if I like them then I like them. That's it really.

Sorry to be a boring old fart.

You don't know the meaning of psychotic. There's nothing psychotic about seeking amusement, even if it is seeking amusement by showing other people how stupid they sound. Mean? Maybe a little. But psychotic, that's the reasoning of a child.

But on the other hand, you're a 45+ fangirl of some rock band to the point where you get defensive when someone disagrees with you over them and calls you on it. What else can you expect from a person like that other than stupid exaggerations, playing the victim and "I am rubber you are glue" arguements"?

I don't expect a lot from you anyway. Aside from some mean spirited amusement.

You don't know the meaning of psychotic. There's nothing psychotic about seeking amusement, even if it is seeking amusement by showing other people how stupid they sound. Mean? Maybe a little. But psychotic, that's the reasoning of a child.

Seeking delight from the shortcomings of others (or what you interperet to be shortcomings) is a psychotic trait. You more than likely have other issues as well. Saying "Yes, I'm mean but that's how I get my kicks" doesn't excuse your behaviour.

But on the other hand, you're a 45+ fangirl of some rock band to the point where you get defensive when someone disagrees with you over them and calls you on it. What else can you expect from a person like that other than stupid exaggerations, playing the victim and "I am rubber you are glue" arguements"?

I am neither a fangirl or 45+. I don't recall disagreeing with you concerning MCR. I disagreed with you coming here for the sake of stirring up trouble for your own amusement and made the observation that for you to care so much, you must care about the identity of the owner of this blog. Hit it too close to home?

I don't expect a lot from you anyway. Aside from some mean spirited amusement.

I expect nothing from you. You are certainly not amusing.

Anonymous said...

There's nothing psychotic about seeking amusement, even if it is seeking amusement by showing other people how stupid they sound.

Why do you believe what you think is the benchmark for what others should say, think and do? Do you realize how egotistical that sounds? To believe you are perfect?

Do your parents know this is how you get your jollys?

Oh and it’s definitely not because I’m worried someone will point out I should stop spilling my guts here because I don’t give a rat ass about that. So then what’s the problem? Shit, I don’t know. it had not been going well. every time i tried, the result was wooden, and fell flat. not much magic in them.

until today. all that typey typey i was doing last night turned out to be a solid and very effective travel-size candlemas. i was in a pagany glow all morning.

Just been on youtube Ergo. I have heard the song but never knew who was singing it.

I love Biffy Clyro and Newton Faulkner's cover of Massive Attack's Teardrop is amazing. He is known for his guitar playing style, which involves him rhythmically tapping and hitting the guitar's body.

My favourite band at the moment is Elbow. Have you heard of them? I have "Grounds for Divorce" on repeat and it's getting on my sister's nerves! I usually pretend to be a backing singer for them and sing the whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoaahh bit in the beginning of the song. Then I get my tambourine out. I really have one and I'm quite good at it :)
She once said if I don't stop whoaoaing she'd stick the bloody tambourine down my throat! Ah sisterly love!

You're very wrong, laughing at other's stupidity is no psychotic. It's something everyone does when they watch reality shows. Is everyone who watches TV psychotic?

Watching a reality show is not psychotic. Going to said show day after day to point out their stupidity, constantly mocking them, yes, that would be a pyschotic trait.

You're a child. You're an aging, 45+ year old child who comes here because you believe you can get "inside" with Gerard and Frank.

And you can't even lie.

If you think everyone is lying to you, you may indeed have other issues.

But isn't that what you are doing as well?

No. I said nothing about your "stupidity". I pointed out your actions can be viewed as having pyschotic traits. What you are doing is seeking out others to poke fun of and bully for your own amusement, with no regard as to how it makes the other person feel.

Sorry, I'm another anon. I suppose I should have made that clear.

It's just that I don't understand all this back and forth that goes on here.

"You're so stupid. Lol."

"No. I'm not stupid. You're psychotic."

"No, you."

"You."

Seriously, it all seems so pointless. I don't see why people care so much. If someone thinks what goes on here is stupid that's their choice. It may not be terribly polite of them to point it out, but so what?

I just think the best policy would be to ignore.

As anons, we don't really have a 'place' here. It's not like the regulars are going to appreciate you for defending them so I don't see the point.

By the same token, it's probably pointless for me to be here expressing my views as well, but it's a slow day at work and I'm kind of bored. *shrugs*

The Fix
There has been a lot of talk over at Mayo's about how to "fix things".

Well, I've got a few ideas, and I can guarantee that very few people are going to like them.

You want to fix things at Mayonaise's? Why not give the stage to someone else once in awhile? Constant self-centered posts, be they about what you're doing every exact second of every day, or posts as "Random Televison Character" really monopolize the conversation. Is that fair to anyone? Nope.

What's that? Scroll past it? You know, that would be a genius idea, if it didn't make up 75% of the blog replies. Ignore, ignore all you want, but it is still there. It's still used to derail current topics of conversation. It's used to force people to stop talking, and it's used for attention. It's beyond pathetic.

The best policy would be for the words not to be typed in the first place.

What you are saying is that no one should stand up for the remaining blues, because that would be wrong and they don't appreciate it, but it's perfectly fine for anyone to bully and mock them for amusement.

Do you seriously not see anything wrong with that? Are you honestly trying to justify calling these people names, making fun of them, posting your own opinion of them as fact and becoming angry yourself when someone calls you on your behaviour?

It is pointless to debate this with you. You do not seem to have the social skills to understand.

I hope you are never treated the way you seem to treat others.

My comment was mainly directed at the anon from last night and earlier today, but the the second anon seems to have the same lack of caring for other's feelings.

But "may you and your family rot in hell", (said to Karen) "cunt", (said to Karen and Kap and once to Sdock10), "pathetic", "bitch", "scum" coming from your friends here is fine.

You are a child.

You don't seem to understand that I'm not the person doing this bullying.

Sorry I even tried to reason with you. You obviously have your own agenda and aren't listening to anyone but yourself.
