At the Home

I hate to see you
When you're falling apart
Can't you start over, again?

Elizabeth crumbles
Alone in her chair
Keeps her windows shut
To keep out the air

Elizabeth crumbles
Alone in her bed
Spends all her pastime
Mulled in her dread

What keeps her living
Is her fear of being
Anywhere other than here
So they’ll feed her too much
Or it’s never enough,
Then it's fuck you
“Get the hell out of here!"

Elizabeth stumbles
Over everything I've said
Pining words are useless
Pushed round in her head

The mystery was my bravery
I never knew what I'd get
Will it be her fear or regret?
Her confusion my denial?
Walked her shoes a while
Now she can’t turn back
So she said then she’ll stay
And I will walk away

Elizabeth mumbles
Over and over my name
Forgetting tomorrow
Will never be the same

She’s repeating her beating
Did you bring her a drink?
Why are you leaving?
What the hell do you think?
That she’ll fuck you
To get the hell out of here

Elizabeth tumbles
Out onto the floor
With an abandon of reason
It is herself abhorred

She sat alone in her room
Pouring over her gloom
Never got out of her chair
And they don't even care
Now that they’ve all receded
Into the ground or fleeted
To the wormholes
And woodwork back there

You'll find repair
Where that memory
Becomes illusory

Look, again?

p.s. in the end it is what you think you will get.

mayo,

i was all nostalgic this morning, today was the anniversary of the last show on my road trip last year. i'm so glad i was there, so glad to have met the people i did. whenever i fall into a dark time, whenever that ugly voice in my head tells me nothing will ever change, i have that show to remind me how generous the world truly is, and how unexpected its gifts can be.

"Forgetting tomorrow
Will never be the same
"

yep. and last year i never would have guessed even one detail of my life now. your post is how i was, many years ago, mayo. i was so tied up in my own misery at times, it fed on itself. i was cannibalistic with it.

but it's all about change, and until you stand up and face forward you never will notice that. change is good, even the awful stuff brings you something -- i learned that for myself.

that's what i was thinking as i was reading your poem tonight, remembering the young woman who stayed inside, who hid from the sun and was too afraid of people to go to a concert.

she's gone, thankfully. but i thank you for the reminder of how it was.

good night, mayo.

First love, then sex. That's my deal. Sex is meaningless if you don't care about the person.

But for now, oogling gorgeous men is fine by me.

Goodnight Amy, sweet dreams!

Anonymous said...

So true 1:58. Sex is readily available. Love is much more difficult to find.

Anonymous said...

Well said BC. :)

Sometimes love makes things too complicated. I think you have to be ready for it or you're just going to fuck it up.

And that who is your guilty pleasure question the anon asked earlier...I got one.

Billy Idol. He was pretty hot back in the day.

'Sup party people?? ;p

So, I don't have the time tonight to catch up and hang with yaz, but I wanted to drop a note real quick.

-Mayo, I wish for whomever Elizabeth represents to find the hope and strength inside themselves again. It sounds like they have lost their way, out of their pain and afflictions. And moreso that they have given up completely. I hope somehow things will change for them, for the better. And I hope those around this person can find the strenght to keep figting for them as well. A life like that seems to be not worth living. But it is what we make it. I hope somehow they can remember that. Best of luck to them, to everyone involved.

I hope everyone is doing well of late? It feels like now is the time to hang on and hope for the best. Giving up does sound pretty comfortable as well, but as I said, life is what we make it. We just have to keep trying, don't we? ;p

Love to ya guys, please be well! <333

Original Punk J said...

I've had sex without love, and love without sex. Neither made me happy.

But now, at this point in my life, I'm ready for the two together. Better late than never, right?

So many people think they've found the love of their lives when they're right out of high school, or in their early 20's. Some do, that's very true, but in today's world, it's the exception and not the rule. You have to get out there and do some living on your own before you can be the complete you with someone, for a lifetime.

" Oblivion in Sin

All joy - in the past, irretrievable and evanescent
But in the present - prosperity and despair.
The heart is tired and thirsts in fire at sunset
Of love and passion - its lured by freedom from care.

The heart is tired of prosperities narrow confines,
Its in despair, in chains, in complete distress...
Despairs to dream, and to trust, and in darkened numbness
It pulses with sadness, in cast of laziness...

And life charms and conjures, and with the trail
Of family weekdays lures somewhere...
To hearts chagrin: it fears with its betrayal
To end its prosperity in sunset hour.

It is empowered with motherhood and with loyalty,
It fears to leave his loved ones like piteous orphans...
But there's no unison, and it beats in loneliness
And life passes, and it might tear the cold coffin.

Oh heart, oh heart! Salvation is in your madness!
While you can burn and beat, burn and keep beating!
Sin braver! May do-gooder come way of mummies:
In sin - oblivion! And there - no bullet or rail can reach me!

You're loved, sick heart! You're loved, loved all out!
Love in response! In greeting! Yes, love in ardor!
And be at peace: Live - rightly! And vanquish doubt!
Be joyful, heart: You're young! Beat loud and harder!

Mayo

It was great to see a new post today when I clicked on the page. I wanted to reread the words so badly but like I said earlier, Mom was standing across the room staring at me. Okay, I was supposed to be checking out something else but hey, I had to check the blog. Anyway, once Mom figured out what I was looking at she said “Oh, say hello to Mayo for me.” Holy crap, I choked on my Fresca. So since I didn’t say it then I’ll say it now. “Hello Mayo” from mom.

Okay so now I’ve had a chance to reread the post. Here is my probably way off the mark take on it. Well actually it’s not really off the mark because as you’ve said we are all meant to take from it what we can. So then here is how my mind molded the words to my thoughts. To me most of us at one time or another have been “Elizabeth.” We have suffered true pain from another’s words or actions. How that pain is handled is unique to each person. Some can simply “turn off the pain” and move on. (so not me). While others completely immerse themselves in the pain. It becomes their constant companion and their whole world. Everything in their life centers around this pain.

Now from this post I also considered the “other” person in this whole scenario. The one who caused Elizabeth’s pain. Or the person Elizabeth believes has caused her world to crumble. So I wonder is the person really the “bad guy’”? Take for example this scene as a love gone wrong situation. Perhaps only Elizabeth believed this love to be perfect and complete because in her mind that is how she perceived it. But what if it wasn’t? Can the other person be held responsible if Elizabeth lets this destroy her? Can they be held responsible is she lets the pain from it ending consume her? Twisted love destroys all it holds captive.

I suppose this falls into the realm of “There are two sides to every story”. That is simplifying it but I have to say I feel for both sides. To me Elizabeth is in pain and the “other” lives with this knowledge. But what can be done? You can’t live your life playing the part in someone else’s world if it’s not a part that is honest. Okay, you can but to me that would be wrong. It would be living a lie and that never ends well. And as for
“You'll find repair
Where that memory
Becomes illusory’

Well there is always the possibility that the whole affair was an illusion in her mind. She created her own world and moved into it never planning on leaving. Maybe she just can’t.

Oh and the p.s. – “in the end it is what you think you will get.”

Maybe if you believe what you think is real, no matter what, then yeah, that’s true. Once again, if you live in a world of your own making, accept it to be reality then anything is possible.

Holy crap, Mayo see how much you made me think today? Well to be honest I did have some time while Mom was perusing the shelves for unfrosted shredded wheat squares. Pretty sure I stood there with a glazed look in my eyes thinking about the post while she hunted each shelf for the Holy Grail of cereal.

Okay, so that is my take on the post. That is the direction my mind traveled. Of course my mind does travel down some out of the way back roads. LOL

Take care, and once again it was good to see ya.

Night Mayo

Elena (she did find the cereal and I swear I heard a host of angels sing Hallelujah.”

everyone has issues. some issues are not as bad as others.

True, but sometimes unresolved issues continue to get bigger over time. Sometimes love isn't enough to overcome them.

I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic. Happily ever after is a fallacy.

Relationships are hard work. Far too many young people don't realize that.

Anonymous said...

i never said they are not hard work.

they are. they're messy, complex and you experience a whole range of emotions.

who has to be happy all the time? that is illusory. Ga! is used THAT word.

content with things for the majority of the time is good enough.

Anonymous said...

Happily ever after is stupid, besides the fact that it doesn't present any challenges to work on if that's all there is to it.

*end of somewhat pointless and short rant I think?

Original Punk J said...

2.16, ain't that the truth? Sometimes you're lucky, and you find that other person. If/when you do, you have to be aware enough to realize, That's the one! It can be really hard to do, though, so we can't give up.

I like that one, G'nite Bloggers. Goodnight to you as well.

And goodnight 2.17.

I'm getting off here too, I've laughed myself tired. Goodnight BC, Anons, Elena if you're still around, and Ergo when you come in!

Mayo, I like your poem. You and "Elizabeth" obviously have a history, and a stormy one at that. It seems you still have some feelings for her, or else you wouldn't care what happened to her. She doesn't know what she wants, does she? She thought it was you, but then she thought it wasn't, and you didn't know what to say or do. So you left. And now...she's angry with you, isn't she? Can she get past that anger? I think she's tried, from what you've written, but then she talks herself back into it again.

Vicious circle. I hope she can break it.

Goodnight all.

Anon - Reading Mayo's post is like opening a book and reading a passage in the middle. It gives us a chance to create a story from the words. A novel with an open ending and for that matter who knows what the first line said?

Original Punk J said...

Dear SS,

Apparently the theme tonight was "love and sex". Always big draws, those two. Regarding love: personally I believe that 'happily ever after' can, and does, exist. Granted, it's not easy to find. Life seems to be Hell-bent on keeping the majority of us searching like moles in the daylight. But if you're lucky enough, and it's God's will, then it's achievable. "Content with things the majority of the time," as the anon said, shouldn't be what we all strive to achieve. Happiness, true happiness, can be reached. And it is, when the time is right.

Sex? Well, sex IS better with love behind it. At that point, it transforms into something more, something beautiful between two people. It's not merely a physical act that provides release; it becomes an expression of your feelings for that other person. It could even be seen as paying tribute to that person, as if to say, You are part of me, you have filled my life with love and joy, thank you.

Sorry, didn't mean to run off on a tangent there. But you get what I'm saying.

Love and sex. They go hand in hand.

Goodnight, baby. I love you.

My heart to yours, always.

Anon at 3:02 please explain

Anonymous said...

You're welcome ergo :)

Well kinda, but Bugsy sure wanted to chew everything in sight today. Not only that, he kept trying to bite everything. It doesn't happen a lot but he has the tendency to try to bite someone's nose or cheek at times when they pick him up :S

ergoproxy said...

ooh make sure you stop him doing that, you don't want it being a habit when he gets older

Anonymous said...

Yeah thanks. It's kinda becoming a bit of a problem, lol, but I'm keeping an eye on him.

Anonymous said...

3:09

G'nite did not select that poem or any poem for Toujours. I think they've made that clear.

ergoproxy said...

Mayo, this poem really reminds me of the Elvis Costello song "Veronica"

Anonymous said...

Sorry 3:32, I don't believe that. They're both poetry lovers. I think G'Nite is just shy.

Anonymous said...

Maybe he won't bite if they leave him alone BC.

Anonymous said...

The poems are not for Toujours. I've told you that before. Many people here love poetry.

If the poems were for TouJours they would call themself "G'nite TouJours" not "G'nite bloggers".

Anonymous said...

Do they have to post as "G'nite bloggers this is not for Toujours" for you to understand that.

Anonymous said...

Maybe, I'm kinda dense ya know. But whateva.

Anonymous said...

3:36,

Probably, but he's a really friendly and active dog. He just likes to chew on things too much :/

ergoproxy said...

BC young dogs do that, it's how they play as puppies with each other, but you ahve to growl loudly and angrily at him, and even grab the scruff of his neck, as a parent dog would do if a pup did it to them

and g'nite has posted for ages, and has said it's for everyone

Anonymous said...

Ergo, yep, that's what I do ^_^

ergoproxy said...

BC say "NO!" really short sharp and loud, like a bark

ergoproxy said...

and then put him down and ignore him, or put him away in a room, they are social and being ignored reinforces they were naughty

Anonymous said...

I'm thinking, if the poetry is for everyone, must be for Toujours too.

Anonymous said...

Ergo, lol, I do those things as well :D

He's kind of a stubborn pup, but I'm sure it'll sink into him not to chew on things. I hope.

Anonymous said...

Why do you call him stubborn BC? Tenacity is a virtue.

ergoproxy said...

lol BC it just depends how long it'll take, just keep good stuff out of his reach

Anonymous said...

Sooooo maybe G Nite can say G'Nite Bloggers, not Toujours but really including Toujours who I don't really like :)

Anonymous said...

Yes anon. They are for all the bloggers. They aren't just for her as you keep insisting or want to believe.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Well I didn't think an anon would care about my dog, but to answer your question, at times he doesn't seem to listen.

It's been a very long time since I had a dog, so I'm trying to familiarize myself having another one again.

Anonymous said...

Maybe you should have got a kitten.

Anonymous said...

The poetry g'nite posts is not for K or TouJours. The poetry g'nite posts are not for any one lovely.

Morning Mayo,

I hope this wasn't your Mothers' Day visit.

It reminds me of the frustration I see and hear when visiting the dementia unit.

At first there is so much anger at why they are there and why they can't go home - but when asked, they can't tell you where their home is.
Then comes the accusations - 'you don't care'; 'your father wouldn't have left me here'. Forgotten are the unlocked doors at night;,the strangers walking into the house helping themselves; the yoghurty milk and the two week old raw chicken breast, waiting to be eaten, in the fridge; the falls; the abuse; the street searches.

There are moments of synapse connectivity when they realise exactly where they are; and where they would rather not be and they ask and they plead, and they despair until it drains the tears from the elder, and, the emotions of the younger.
The finger is always pointed at the family member that visits the most.

The anger after months, more often years, gives way to a nothingingness - just the sound of raspy breathing and grey hollowed cheeks. The visitors dread the visits but they still love what remains of the bedridden family husk.

But, on a second reading of your post this sounds like a young person who has locked themselves away.

Or there's something a little oddly oedipal going on. O_o

Either way, it's sad what happens to the human mind, and sadder still when they do it to themselves.

Pickled Possum said...

Oh, and sorry for any confusion about the 'MCR fan site' thing I posted the other night.

My niece is well she'll be acting out the part of Fagin (sp) next week. We're excited!

I am freezing cold and hung over!!! But I hope to get some planting done for my Mom and I have been doing her spring cleaning as well as my own all week. I have had less time here as a result. She has Parkinson's and is less able to complete the tasks she once found easy. But she is a good sport!

Did you enjoy your camping trip?

Again, I hope you enjoyed Mom's Day - its hard to juggle everything and I know you do an admirable job.

If I thought I could be half as capable, I might consider having kids one day!

And I am not being facetious, for once!

How are you all today? Happy, well and basically doing good, I hope!

Mayo: Thank you for the new post/piece/painting/room. That last one was getting kind of stuffy!

This one is so sad though. So full of loneliness, isolation and despair...

I'm with Possum and Lewis. I hope whomever "Elizabeth" represents is doing much better today.

I hope you're doing well. SS too! And, I hope everyone here had/is having a wonderful Mothers' Day!!!!

I'm off to dinner now. Bre has returned from Anima Convention in Baton Rouge and I can't wait to hear about the weekend happenings!!!

Anons who read and like my poems: THANK YOU!!!! Your words are much appreciated!

Have a great (what remains of the) day, everyone!

Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~

Hello there, Mayo!

Thanks for the new post! Happy Mother's Day to your mother. My husband had to go to a funeral today for a lady that went to our church. Kind of a sad day for many today, I know. She always said that Mother's Day was one of her happiest days because she'd have a son sitting on either side of her at church. Well, they were both there for her again today. Then I think of my mother, who was an only child, and her mother died nine years ago. I know it's still hard for her. Anyway, not trying to be a downer or anything but yeah, I'm thankful to have such an awesome mother and still have her in my life and I'm also thankful for the opportunity to be a mother myself. Nine years ago, the most extraordinary human being that I've ever met came into my life. He still amazes me and he has no idea. :)

Anyway! Have a lovely rest of the weekend, Mayo!

SS,

Happy Mother's Day to your mother, too! Hope life is treating you and yours well, as always! Miss ya!

See you guys around!

Amyranth said...

Hallloooooo?

Ergo?

Anyone?

Bueller?

elena said...

Bueller? Bueller?

Amyranth said...

Hey! It's a Happy Mother!

How's it going Elena?

elena said...

Holy crap where did I go? I just keep wandering off.

I'm doing well, Amy. It was a great Mother's Day. My girls planned a nice little lunch for me.

Amyranth said...

Ooooh, lunch! What'ja have and did the girls cook themselves?

I've been wandering too, so don't worry. Just indulging another of my silly little... indulgences?

elena said...

No, no cooking involved. LOL Believe me that is for the best. We had turkey subs and all kinds of goodies.

My favorite part of the day was after lunch when Flighty and I sat outside at my mom's and talked. It was nice, she only made me twitch once so that was good! It was really nice.

Amyranth said...

*giggles*

Nice to know that success with children is measured in twitch levels. I wonder how many twitches I get out of my mom in one conversation?

But that sounds fun. I called my mom and had a good chat with her, and did more gardening. I finally bought plants, and they're calling for snow on Wednesday.

elena said...

Snow? Wow.

Oh and I posted a pic of me and Flighty that she took of us on mom's back porch. You know it's kinda weird talking like we did. A year ago that would never have happened. But now, things are so much better. I think both of us are seeing the other more clearly. Oh crap, she's growing up into such a lovely young woman it makes me sad and proud at the same time.

Amyranth said...

I think the majority of that growing up happens after you move out of your parents house, to be honest. I've changed a lot in the last two years, and I find my mother telling me more and more about how happy she is that I'm doing well, and things are working and whatnot.

It'll be interesting to see how Dad is going to treat me when he gets here. He's coming out to work for the summer, and when I was home on vacation 2 years ago, he only referred to me at "little girl!".

My cousin's daughter got confused, she thought there was another kid in the house.

Original Punk J said...

Hello? Anyone still home? It's so quiet tonight.

Original Punk J said...

Interesting quote, 11.26. Maybe it depends on what it is that's broken. Some things are worth repairing, or at least trying. And then there's the things that were never whole to begin with, that aren't reparable.

Amyranth said...

Hey J!

Just listening to Disney Tunes over here.

Yeah.

What's up?

Original Punk J said...

Absolutely nothing, Amy. I'm still here by myself; L ate something bad yesterday and it made her sick. She's coming home tomorrow b/c she didn't get much sleep and needed to rest today. She IS feeling better, though, and no ER visit this time.

So it's me and the fur babies.

Disney Tunes?

Amyranth said...

Jesus, L can't catch a break can she? :/

Yes, Disney Tunes. I started off with "Belle" from Beauty and the Beast. Then I moved on to "Kiss the Girl" and "Under the Sea", and now it's "Be Our Guest".

Yeah, I don't know. Mister loves Aladdin, and I think that's weird. XD

Original Punk J said...

Aladdin the Disney movie? With Robin Williams doing the Genie's voice? Oh, excellent! I love that one. Fantasia is one of my very favorite movies of all time, along with Sleeping Beauty and The Aristocats.

I am a child of the '70s.

Amyranth said...

The Robin Williams Aladdin, yes. I liked it too, but he thinks it's the best Disney Movie he's seen.

I personally love Beauty and The Beast.

toujours said...

hi j., hi amyranth. :)

back when i was married, we had a compilation cd of disney songs, used to listen to it pretty often. but then, we used to listen to sea chanties, too!

but my ex's favorite of disney's stuff was the tarzan soundtrack -- holy crap that was a good soundtrack!

Original Punk J said...

Aladdin IS good, but maybe not their best. I'm not sure what would earn that "award". There's so many great ones. Alice in Wonderland was a good one.

Original Punk J said...

Hey TJ! Phil Collins did that soundtrack, didn't he?

Amyranth said...

I think Phil Collins did the whole thing, yes. Kind of like what Elton John did for the Lion King.

Another top notch movie, in my opinion.

toujours said...

yep, he did, and the songs are great, really get the energy going. (ok, so my ex wasn't the only one to like the movie...)

Original Punk J said...

Elton also did the soundtrack for The Road to El Dorado, which was a good movie.

*Bonus trivia question: Do either of you know who voiced the two main characters in that one?*

toujours said...

i always liked the princess ones when i was a kid...like, if there wasn't a girl involved, i just wasn't interested! even now, pinocchio is my least favorite.

the blue fairy just wasn't enough to keep my interest. lol

toujours said...

j., it was kevin kline wasn't it?

Original Punk J said...

He was one, do you know the other one?

toujours said...

the blond character...oh dammit, i can't remember! who was it?

“Women and cats will do as they please, and men and dogs should relax and get used to the idea.”

Robert A. Heinlein

Amyranth said...

I'm a Princess freak too Teej. Ariel, Belle, Aurora, Jasmine, Cinderella... all of them.

Uh.. wasn't Matt Damon one of them J?

toujours said...

heinlein. it figures. *heh*

i couldn't get into him after awhile, unfortunately. i read him right on the leading edge of my feminist stage, and he began to grate after awhile.

still i like the idea that there's a brand of paganism out there based on his novel. that's cool. :)

Original Punk J said...

Kenneth Branagh (sp?), TJ! I thought that was very cool, for these two men who've done stage work to do Disney voices!

Anon, I figure women and cats are on the same wavelength. :D

toujours said...

amyranth, and now we like sailor moon -- sensing a pattern here? lol

Original Punk J said...

Never could get into Heinlein. Stranger In a Strange Land was too dated for me to be able to get into it.

Sorry Amy, not Matt Dillon. Would've been interesting though!

Original Punk J said...

Um, Matt DAMON, not DILLON. Damon did a voice in the animated movie about Mars--name escapes me.

toujours said...

omg, really, j.? i might have known that back when the movie came out, but i had totally forgotten it. that's very cool. i'm a bit pro-kenneth branaugh, all that shakespeare you know. :)

Amyranth said...

Teej, it must have something to do with Princesses. Who sing. And kick butt. I mean, techincally they all do in Disney Movies, and all but one have ended up with their man.

Original Punk J said...

Random Kenneth Branaugh Movie Plug:
"How To Kill Your Neighbor's Dog". It's a comedy, made in the '90s I think. Hilarious!

Unrelated Movie Plug: "Sordid Lives". Oh my cow, I never stopped laughing when I watched it! It's harder to find, but very much worth it!

toujours said...

amyranth, it could've been the talking animals, too...

*reminisces about snooty, bossy kitty cats*

toujours said...

i think i've heard of that first one, j. -- i'll definitely look for it, but what's the other one about?

Anonymous said...

For Wendy

Finland, Finland, Finland.

The country where I want to be,

Eating breakfast or dinner,

Or snack lunch in the hall.

Finland, Finland, Finland,

Finland has it all.

Original Punk J said...

Sailor Moon is cool, too, I like her and all her planetary helpers. :)

Inuyasha is my favorite anime, I think. He's got sass, and a dirty mouth. I like that in my men. ;D

Amyranth said...

The talking animals are a definite link too. Except The Aristocats have nothing on Luna, Artemis and Diana.

Original Punk J said...

It deals with a Southern family, extended and all. The mother dies and they're trying to get everyone there for the funeral, and take care of the service, the food, etc. It's one of those movies that's hard to explain in general terms. You have to hear and see most of the jokes to get it, cause it's all about the timing and the inflection.

Trust me, it's worth it. :D

MONTY PYTHON! The "Finland" song is a classic! So many good songs came from them.

toujours said...

j., inuyasha is my favorite anime, side-by-side with rurouni kenshin! i have a bunch of iy borrowed from my sis right now, in fact.

i was always a little soft for sesshomaru. that hair.

the fan fic that i have online is all inuyasha stuff. haven't written any for forever though -- left my readers hanging in the middle of a story too. *oops*

Original Punk J said...

Luna's cool. The little moon marking on her forehead is tuff.

Amyranth said...

I've never done fanfic, just fanart on my end.

But it helped me learn to draw, so it's not all bad I suppose.

toujours said...

*adds "sordid lives" to her list*

thanks j.! i'm always looking for new movies to watch. :)

amyranth, i agree: sailor moon kitties > aristocats, by like, a ton.

Original Punk J said...

Your illustrations are gorgeous, Amy. Anime taught you well!

I love the way most anime looks, so clean and sharp, you know? Detailed.

Amyranth said...

Well at least Luna gets a super cool human form. The Aristocats never got that. :P

toujours said...

drawing is good, amyranth, so yay for fanart! i remember the few pics you posted here, i thought they were really good. :)

Amyranth said...

J, most anime is really clean and pretty. I really enjoyed the Sailor Moon S season for that reason. Much darker, but the animation was really cleaned up from the first season.

I think that's why I like Disney Movies too, the animation is usually very sharp and bold.

Amyranth said...

And thank you both for the compliments, Teej and J. :)

Has boots, has coat, has passport, will travel!
;P

Hello Mayo, SS, GS (who I missed earlier), Amy, J, TJ... everyone!!

How are you all tonight? Did you all enjoy your mothers day?

Amy: I'm with you on The Lion King. One of the best movies ever made, in my humble opinion! I cry everytime I watch it. "Run Simba, Run!!!!" Poor little Simba.

J: I'm sorry to hear that L wasn't feeling well again. Thank goodess another ER trip was not required!

TJ: I forgot to look at your pictures. I sorry! Would it be too much trouble to post them again? I'm too tired (actually, lazy) to backtrack tonight.
:P

Hugs and Love,

it was the art that got me into anime, too. i was curious about sailor moon, and the images got me hooked. i was watching the butchered version of cardcaptors at the time too, and it's always been a favorite for sheer attractiveness.

Hi everyone

hi J elena Amy

TJ which should I try first?

Amyranth said...

Oh Wendy, no I haven't posted any work lately. I have some on my DeviantArt, but it's all REALLY old. Like over 2 years old. I'm working on a painting right now for my best friend, I'll take some pictures of it and get those up soon.

HALLO ERGO!!

Also, I considered using "Beauty and The Beast" as the first dance when me and Mister get married, but then I thought about how he'd feel when he heard the lyrics.

It was an amusing thought.
