PP just a dreadful, dreadful thing in Boston. I really hope they can find out who is responsible as quickly as possible and that they do feel the full weight of the law upon them.
That fly problem sounds icky can't believe the others didn't notice!
Whitsundays are lovely, but really only if you go off the coast to the islands, Airlie Beach is very touristy and full of backpackers, though they have excellent markets once a month.
I wish Mum had been around for tonight. As a Justice of the Peace, who could also act as a wedding celebrant, she would have been first in line for her friends D and R, and my stepsister and her partner. =)
Ergo, the 2NE1 song with Will.i.am is a bit of a stinker. =(
If I recall correctly a few former visitors here had Texan connections. Can't remember exactly where in Texas but I hope they and their families are safe and well.
NZ finally decided to join the world and go down the X-Factor path and this is what we get. A little bit different. =) And what happens to once were well known English singers? They end up judging here. Okay, Daniel Beddingfield was actually born here but we don't advertise that too much. =P And thank you to the USA for this new citizen to our shores =)
Hi PP! I've never watched any of those talent shows, we can't get free to air tv anymore since it went digital, I have watched Got to Dance UK which is good. I get annoyed with some talent shows when it seems the more troubled the person can make their past seem or how sick a relative can be makes them more likely to get through, over actual talent.
I am thinking of getting the FOB album too, I have 2 others and like them, but these latest songs seem even better
What do you think of G dragon's new song Michi Go? Damn catchy and the weirdest MV, I love that he just goes all out and doesn't conform to even his own image.
Getting cool here too, I love autumn, most comfortable sleeping temp and days are still warm enough to not need to pie on the woolies.
Happy Mother's Day to those countries celebrating today. =)
Ergo,
I get annoyed with some talent shows when it seems the more troubled the person can make their past seem or how sick a relative can be makes them more likely to get through, over actual talent. ^ This!
Michi Go - I have no idea what the heck goes on G Dragons head! He is clever, and different, but he is one very strange guy. O_o
Autumn is the best. =)
And Manic Street Preachers are finally coming to NZ for the first time!!! Nicky is getting on a plane!!
But as it is isn't until July maybe he is coming by ship?
Really looking forward to the next Dr Who! I am enjoying this series and I love Clara, friends and I are trying to figure out who she is and how she came to be with him on three separate occasions and die twice. Makes for some very interesting discussions.
Hyori is a little bit different from most K singers. For thousands of years, Korea has highly valued pale skin. Hyori says, I'm tan skinned get over it, and in the process making lots of young girls feel better about themselves. In Asian countries, where animals rights are low to non-existent, Hyori supports animal shelters and pushes for dog to be taken off the menu. And if that isn't enough she has been supporting 'Comfort women', raising their profile when no one else would listen to them, and trying to get the Japanese to acknowledge what they did. She's pretty cool. =)
Dreadful devastation in Oklahoma and more tornadoes expected, I hop everyone can stay safe.
Hi PP, it is a shame so many Koreans feel they need to alter themselves to have an ideal look, just as it is in any country. good on her looking out for the other issues too, it's good when a higher profile person gets involved as their fans get interested too
Boy have had the most amazingly busy last 2 weeks. Helped organise a wedding for a good friend who had to change venue and even state at the last minute! All went really well and we had a wonderful weekend with them, celebrating their wedding then going out on the Sunday to a rainforest park and a yummo lunch. Then it seems days are passing at record speed!
Thoughts with everyone in Oklahoma again, and in Missouri and Illinois with such terrible tornado weather again
Helped organise a wedding for a good friend who had to change venue and even state at the last minute! Ergo, How does something like that even happen?! Well done!! =D
Then it seems days are passing at record speed! I can't believe we are up to Hump Month already!
In a moment of stupidity, my girl and I decided to drive 9 hours down to Armageddon. The organisers claim it to be the NZ equivalent of Comic Con - but *cough* smaller. Game Of Thrones actor, Jason Momoa finally found a Khaleesi cosplayer he could pick up. The crowd squealed. I spoke with her afterwards and she said she had no idea he was going to pick her up. She was very cutely excited by it.
And did all non-readers of GOT survive the tv series Red Wedding episode? lololololol
I'd love to go to a Comic con type thing, maybe one day I'll be in the city when one is on, they look like fun.
Wedding had to change because of a misinterpretation of visa conditions (the bride is from overseas) they've been together a couple of years but they thought it was however any months from the date she entered the country using that particular new marriage visa, which cancels out your other visa, however it was from when it was lodged, which was done over a month earlier while they were still overseas last Xmas. You pretty much need a specialist in the whole thing to just go through all the paperwork! It's very complex, which is good as far as making sure people are legitimate, but makes it very hard for a normal everyday person to negotiate all the regulations. All good though - they are very happily back settled in Darwin :)
Ergo, What a bureaucratic nightmare! Well handled. Now they can relax. =) Supernova seems a really good comic- con style event to to go to. I see they have Torchwood people this year.
I don't normally do zombie movies but as I'd read the book a few years back I thought I'd see World War Z. Not much like the book at all, really. The Zs were never super fast runners or climbers, nor did they change that quickly, but I guess it works better with 2 hours of screen time. And I'm going to have nightmares now. I physically launched off my seat at one scene. No screaming. Just leapt a mile high up and sideways on to the seat beside me. >_<
And to top it all, they previewed a truely scary horror called The Conjuring. OMG I'm done for. =(
*needs vast amounts of fluffy bunnies and kitties*
I may be just about ready to forgive my cantankerous washing machine that eats socks, shreds towels and snaps underwire bras. Turns out the Fisher and Paykel engineers decided to make something special for the salesmen to demonstrate with - but the message was never passed on. It plays not only our national anthem, but if you hit the button combo just right you get the USA and Australia anthems also.
Really? A washing machine that plays the anthems? lol what fun!
I doubt I'll see WWZ or anything else, unless they come on tv, latest I'm going to see is Monster's Uni lol
If the cinema was closer I'd probably see more but seeing it's an hours drive away I never bother, I usually have too much else to do in a trip to town.
Happy July everyone. Hope you are all able to keep cool in those deadly high temperatures. Craziness. Probably not a good time to mention we're freaking cold down here and we had two metres of snow dump in two days last week. -_-
Ergo, Cheap Tuesday rules! *puts Monster Uni on the 'to see' list*
(perhaps we can palm him off to some poor unsuspecting nation) lol Deal!
Music time: New little NZ singer. 16 years old. Still at High School. Writes her own songs. Lorde - Tennis Court She's bound to do well.
And...Pinch and a punch for the first of the month! =)
*looks around the darkened room covered with dust and cobwebs*
Wow, I haven't been here for ages. I was going through my old bookmarks trying to straighten them out and I started reading here from the beginning. My how things have changed. It's kinda bummed me out that almost everyone is gone. I'm guessing that even Mayo himself doesn't read here anymore but I just want to say I miss all of you that used to wander these halls and the good times that we used to share. I hope all is well with everyone.
*quietly closes the door*
*takes one last glance and now silent castle, before walking back down the road*
Haven't been by in while, went up to Townsville for the V8 Supercar weekend, plus to get things from my grandparents house, now it's under contract *sigh* sad to be there and know its the last time I ever will.
Then with the first week back at school and everything else going on time got away!
Hope you're good PP, we saw Despicable Me too on the following Tuesday before we went to Townsville, it was a lot of fun.
Hi Anons!! *hug* nice to see you drop by, feel free to come in again anytime, we just keep the placed aired.
So who is queueing up to see The Conjuring?! It's trailer was scary enough, I don't think I'd survive the full length film!! Based on a true story stuff is the worst OMG!! >_<
Ergo, V8s!! Lucky you! Sad about your Grandparents home. The memories will always linger despite the property's changes and new occupants. Hopefully the new occupants will enjoy it just as much as your Grandparents did. =)
Those are some serious heat waves up north. Hope everyone is keeping cool.
Hiya PP, it is sad, but the people are saying they want to do it up (it'll be a big job) Be nice to see it restored & lived i again rather than the site just redeveloped.
Been a bit shaky over in NZ again today, hope you and yours are all safe and sound
Yep, all good thanks, Ergo. LOLing at the geo-science experts who said that the 5.6 shake, a few days ago, on the same fault line through the Cook Strait, was a rare one on a small fault, and not likely to get any bigger. =)
PP glad you're all ok, saw that there were no reports of serious injury, pics show a bit of stuff knocked about.
People who are buying it are ones that buy, do up & sell so if they think it's a worthwhile project it'll be great, Floorboards are rotting in some spots & there has been white ants but my grandfather built it (he was a bricklayer) so it'd be great if they do keep it. We'd understand if they can't though. We once had a few cars arrive at our house unexpectedly one weekend and went out & it was the kids & grandkids of the people who had lived here a couple of owners ago and they decided to go for a drive, saw we were home and decided to call in and ask if they could see the house again. It was really nice to meet them and hear stories. Spent a really nice afternoon with them all.
SM Entertainment has been officially proven to have been manipulating and interfering with other companies, so as to block JYJ activities in Korea and Japan - even Warner Music Korea. Radio appearances, radio play, Korean tv music shows, movie theatre bookings for their documentaries, stadium hire, TV variety show appearances - all pulled out at the last moment. Just a few weeks back SM even tried to pull it with LOEN releasing Junsu's new MV but public international pressure helped LOEN step back up to the plate. Goodness knows what it will cost LOEN, though, because SM is like the mafia. Hopefully more companies will now step up and say we aren't scared of you.
Jaejoong Yoochun (ia also an actor - can be on tv as long as not singing) Junsu
SM = Shady as %#@*
Sorry for the rant. Four freaking years of this rubbish. B*st*rds >_<
Wow PP they've finally proven SM is doing everything they've been saying they weren't doing - good on them! It's scary that a recording company can wield such power in a country. Hope this decision makes them change their ways and that JYJ can go on to much greater things!
I hope so, Ergo. One of the biggest obstacles has been the thousands of years sunbae/hoobae relationship system Korea has. You have to do what your senior says regardless of whether they are right or wrong. This actually lead in the past to several Korean Airlines planes crashing as first Officers wouldn't tell their senior officers their instruments/actions were wrong. In the entertainment industry SM is Top Dog. OMG the amount of times Yoochun has been the male lead in a TV drama series and the the media outlets would not let him do interviews to promote it, while other cast members could. >_< Perversely, because SM made JYJ unable to promote locally, JYJ went on line - and globally. A driving force behind the FTC decision to investigate was a petition signed by over 180 000 international fans accusing SM of unfairly blocking. Korea wants Kpop to go global, and Diplomats quite often use it for promoting Korean culture. The fans petition put up a big red flag saying, Hey, this is the image the world is getting of this bullying situation, reflecting badly on Korea and forcing their hand, so the FTC investigated instead of pushing it to the side once again.
PP, I have seen some Air Crash Investigation shows that highlighted the problem with the 'senior must be right' culture in causing the crashes. It is important to respect those with more experience but it doesn't mean they are faultless and never make mistakes.
Amazing what people power can accomplish nowadays, with such worldwide connectedness!
NZ singer Ginny Blackmore - Bones. Completely going to end up on some TV soundtrack. Not to be confused with NZ singer Gin Wigmore, currently out on Warped.
Eeeeee! I really, really like the new Doctor Who! It's kind of going back to Who's original roots, but he looks like he could still be a little sassy, like the more recent Doctors. The 12th Doctor is...
I am excited to see the new Doctor as well! I think he's going to be a great choice, I do like they've gone for some maturity in the role again and he's an actor with a strength in his characters. Though the recent Doctors have added an element of fun to the role, and I have enjoyed it, esp Matt, (I got a bit sick of David toward the end, all that sappy romance and angst) I do miss the sort of respect the older Doctors, like my first Doctor, Jon Pertwee got, because they don't look like contemporaries of their companions. They carried themselves like they were experienced and capable. Hopefully he'll be able to carry some gutsy storylines and they can shelve the sappy romantic aspect.
Though forums are full of the "I won't watch this anymore because you haven't brought back David Tennant because he's so hot & I loved him, or some other young good looking actor...whaaaah' female viewers. >.<

^Everything you said, Ergo!!! I get the feeling it's just going to be us old schoolers though, who went through the Pertwee/Baker/Davison/Baker years, that are going to be super excited by him. =) And don't you just love how the BBC recycles actors?! He's been in Russel T Davies episodes of both - Torchwood: Children of Earth and DW: Fires of Pompeii. =)
I really liked the David Tennant and Catherine Tate episodes. Rose/romance - a bit meh. =)
Very true PP, younger fans expect a certain Doctor type, as they've really been pandered to in the latest series. Unlike us older fans who never knew when the Doctor would change, and had no idea what the new one would be like. Plus they were never sort of romantic attractive leading men, so no one expected them to be, unlike the recent stories. I liked Matt because he was far less 'leading man' so the stories were more important. I'm looking forward to seeing the new series.
Geez, Ergo, you are so right! I nearly hyperventilated every time the Doctor unexpectedly changed lol. Change overs are now very slick and well orchestrated in advance. I guess we have the internet to thank for that! Secrets can't be kept.
For everyone who enjoyed Rudimental's - Feel The Love, the vocalist for that single is launching his solo album: John Newman - Love Me Again. Okay, hands up who wasn't expecting a young, fresh faced, soul singing West Yorkshireman?! =)
Gosh I'm wondering where our winter has f=gone. It's feeling almost summery now. Normally we've had frosts and cold days, but my boots and jackets have been sadly left sitting & hanging.
haha, a rogue f= appeared as I must have missed 'backspace' & not noticed - makes me sound rather more annoyed about the lack of cold than I actually am
PP it got a bit colder at night here but days are still lovely and summery. Means I can get my plants for in front of our new veranda now it's all finished, (we closed in underneath on the weekend) going to get some mini citrus to go along, so we get the beautiful scent of the flowers and the fruits.
Hi Ergo! Did you have a nice birthday? Get to celebrate it on your lovely new verandah? Your citrus blossoms are going to smell lovely. =)
I guess everyone is tired of Thicke's Blurred lines by now, but 6 Auckland University law students have made their own version "What you see on TV, doesn't speak equality, it's straight up misogyny." Don't know how long this link will last though as the original has already been removed. One of my son's male friends is in it. O_o
Hey PP, i did ave a lovely birthday thanks, and thank you for the message on my blog :) WE went for lunch at Ribs & Rumps where I ate too much lol then shopped for my gift - a new leather purse I still have money to spend as I have no idea what I wanted so I got some prepaid visa credit so when I see something I can get it.
Great new songs by G Dragon lately but my fave of them is Crooked
the lyrics are really quite sad. (translated)
Nothing ever lasts forever In the end, you changed There is no reason, no sincerity Take away such a thing as love Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Leave me alone I was alone anyway I have no one, everything is meaningless Take away the sugar-coated comfort Tonight, I’ll be crooked
I scream and get dizzy I vent out of boredom to other couples I start fights for no reason like a town gangster Sometimes, I purposely shake my leg, crookedly The main characters of the movie called this world is you and me A lonely island, lost and wandering The empty streets are filled with those who are alone Unlike my heart, the weather is so damn nice
I used to believe in you alone and I was happy But like a joke, I am left alone You used to promise me with your pinky finger But in the end
I’ll put on thick eyeliner, use a whole can of hairspray Leather pants, leather jacket with a frown I want to hide my pain and become even more crooked So you can feel sorry, I’ll spit toward the sky You’re scared of my crude words and my rough eyes But actually, I’m afraid, I want to go back but I have nowhere to go I want to love but no one to love, what am I supposed to do? I can’t turn it back
I used to believe in you alone and I was happy But like a joke, I am left alone You used to promise me with your pinky finger But in the end
Will you not say anything for me tonight? I didn’t know being alone would be this hard (I miss you) Will you be my friend tonight? On this good day, this beautiful day, this day where I miss you Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Horrible week in the USA with flooding around Boulder and now Washington Naval Yards. Hope everyone and their loved ones are safe.
Ergo, I'm so pleased you had a lovely day! And lots of meat by the sounds of it! Yum!
I’ll put on thick eyeliner, use a whole can of hairspray Typical G Dragon lol, But, yes, those lyrics are more emotional than you expect when you see him and his angry video for the song.
even if no one gets me, if i'm the only one laughing at my jokes, i won't hide myself away from life. it's uncertain and it's dirty and it's fucking exciting, and i want to be a part of all of it.
it's too good to waste in hiding.

heart full
Today on my way home from class, I stopped off at the petrol station for some petrol. I paid on my card which wasn’t a lot, and then as I was getting into my car, I saw an old man walking past the building. He had a red and green stripy jumper which was frayed at the ends. He was also wearing some jeans that were dirty and had holes all over.
I sat there and became intrigued by him because I didn’t know what he was doing, so as I sat there and watched him, he continued doing what he set out to do.
He walked past the trash cans and first picked out a cup with some drink still in it (one of the cups that you get from burger king that has coke in it). He then walked over to the next trash can and pulled out the end of a half eaten sandwich. In my shock horror, he ate it and then went to sit on the wall to drink the drink he had found.
I felt sad, I wanted to give him my last $4 that I had but I was told when I was younger that you should never give people money, you should give them something they need or can use because that way, if they had an addiction, they would not be able to use the money for their addiction. So I went into the shop and bought a chicken sandwich from their deli counter and then walked out of the building.
The guy was still sat at the wall drinking his drink so I walked up to him and asked him if he would like this sandwich. He thanked me and said that he was hungry.
I should of felt good after that, doing something for someone else but all I could think of is where his next meal will come from or where in fact he will sleep tonight.

(Tonight, although I am cold and my feet are sore, my belly is full.)
It helped.
Jennicula,
Thank you for sharing your story. Although it only appeared briefly, I was lucky enough to have caught it.
Once upon a time, for me, that was the best part of this place...having my words related back to me from another's perspective.
And it never mattered to me who said it, just that it meant something to the writer.

Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Hold your head up high and be proud of who you are. If you've had a shitty day and you feel like people just don't want you to be happy, and when you find yourself struggling to make it through the day, just keep on believing and keep the faith. Also, from personal experience, don't push people away. When they say they want to help and that they are there for you, let them in. Believe me, I know how fucking scary that thought is, but don't shut others out.

Retro-spectacled
Sometimes, when you look back on stuff in your life, you know, the crap that makes you shake your head and say, "Holy shit, what the Hell was I thinking?" it's part of what makes you - you.
I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I have made small mistakes and really big, fucking scary mistakes. Would I change those mistakes and blunders?
No. Wanna know why?
Because they make me - me. They help make up the person that I am, what I've learned the hard way. Hopefully I've learned from my mistakes and have become a better person for it. And, hopefully I don't repeat those same mistakes. Although, sometimes I repeat variations of certain ones, but I'm working on that. :)

aloft
Blazing against the sun like locusts, samaras swarm the sky and skitter to an earthly end, dry like clever words. I want to make them fly up, flip heaven upside down and dance across the top of hell and sing your thoughts to the sound of thunder that you love so well, rip open the littered sky and bathe in the light or draw across the firmament the blanket of the night.
In only a day they have covered the ground, their brief flight yielding nothing permanent on infertile land, a fleeting moment of swarming glory that calls to mind our own short story: Diamonds and petals, the loom and the light, the inkdark moon, foxfire marsh, an open, waiting hand.
Clever winged seeds of childhood reminiscent-- and like the idiot grown-up heart, as stubbornly indehiscent.

Electric Blue
…today I saw a ulysses butterfly it was in our yard and settled to feed on our hibiscus. They really are fantastically beautiful things, the electric blue is amazing, however as they sit with their wings closed they are rather nondescript and dull. Sometimes people are like that, from the outside they seem unappealing but within there hides an amazing beauty for those lucky enough to see it. I hope you appreciate beauty in all things, and look for it perhaps where others miss it.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
I read your post again and suddenly without warning memories of construction paper filled my head. I remembered all the lop-sided flowers my girls made when they were young. Bright blue, yellow and pink flowers that were cut out with blunt end scissors would fill the windows to decorate for Easter. An occasional bunny was attempted but those usually ended up looking like creatures from a horror movie. Flowers were so much easier. I can close my eyes and hear the paper being cut into petals. I can smell the Elmer’s glue squirted on in huge blobs to attach each misshapen petal to form the flowers. We had a huge arts and crafts box full of wonderful items just waiting for their imaginations to turn into something wonderful. In my mind I see my daughters, as they once were, small, blond little girls sitting on the floor surrounded by scraps of paper and other art supplies. They would create their masterpieces then proudly show each other. Oh and Lord the messes that would ensue if the glitter made an appearance. Now, the box is forgotten. I’m not really sure where it even is anymore. The few flowers so lovingly created that survived are faded and dusty and high on a shelf they sit. Time marches on, so many things get left behind.
Today was the first Easter I spent alone. I don’t think it really upset me until I remembered the construction paper flowers. Of course I understand that my daughters are growing up and have lives of their own. But understanding doesn’t make it any easier to accept. I miss my little girls in their frilly Easter dresses. I miss the laughter that filled the house when they found what the Easter Bunny left for them. And I miss making the damn flowers.

Everything that annoys the wax out of my ears ends up doing well. And the Easter Island head from NATM? Really? Yes. It will do okay. >_<
If I recall correctly a few former visitors here had Texan connections. Can't remember exactly where in Texas but I hope they and their families are safe and well.
Good morning!
Another day of tragic news, so sad.
PP, congrats to NZ! I bet your Mum would be smiling. It was marvelous to see the scenes in the chamber.

Hello =)
Everyone enjoying the change of weather?
NZ finally decided to join the world and go down the X-Factor path and this is what we get. A little bit different. =)
And what happens to once were well known English singers? They end up judging here. Okay, Daniel Beddingfield was actually born here but we don't advertise that too much. =P
And thank you to the USA for this new citizen to our shores =)
I think I am about to buy my first Fall Out Boy album. O_o

But as it is isn't until July maybe he is coming by ship?
Hope everyone is well. =)

Hi PP,
I don't know what goes on in his head either, he certainly is so very unique.
have you ever seen Key & Peele the comedy duo? They did a brilliant sketch on what I said about talent shows
K&P
Come get your ticket to Vegas lol =P
Nearly time to have the Doctor's name revealed!!!
Completely resisting the urge to google for spoilers!
Then again it's in the hands of Moffat, so...
Patrick Stump got hawt?!
*finally got that flaming lyrics booklet out of the cover* >_<
Good morning!
Really looking forward to the next Dr Who! I am enjoying this series and I love Clara, friends and I are trying to figure out who she is and how she came to be with him on three separate occasions and die twice. Makes for some very interesting discussions.
Freaking horrible Oklahoma tornadoes. All those poor people. =(
Music video of the day - Lee Hyori Bad Girls
Adoring the little girl and her eyebrows. =)
good afternoon!
Dreadful devastation in Oklahoma and more tornadoes expected, I hop everyone can stay safe.
Hi PP, it is a shame so many Koreans feel they need to alter themselves to have an ideal look, just as it is in any country.
good on her looking out for the other issues too, it's good when a higher profile person gets involved as their fans get interested too
It's oh so quiet
It's oh so still
You're all alone
And so peaceful until...
Good afternoon!
Thoughts with everyone in Oklahoma again, and in Missouri and Illinois with such terrible tornado weather again
goodnight!
Hi there. How is everybody? =)
And did all non-readers of GOT survive the tv series Red Wedding episode? lololololol
Hope everyone is well. =)
Good morning!
Hi PP!
Good morning!
Evening =)
Ergo, What a bureaucratic nightmare! Well handled. Now they can relax. =)
Supernova seems a really good comic- con style event to to go to.
Hope everyone is well. =)
It's still a pain in the butt machine though =P
Good morning!
Hi =)
I doubt I'll see WWZ or anything else, unless they come on tv, latest I'm going to see is Monster's Uni lol
Ah, Mums always end up seeing the best movies. Despicable Me 2 is also out soon. =)
Does this mean NZ has to take Russell Crowe back?! Do not wants. >_<
Good afternoon!
PP Monster's Uni was great, not as laughing funny as the first but a really good story, Dispicable 2 is next week's "Cheap Tuesday"
Pretty sure Russel Crowe is yours, honest! (perhaps we can palm him off to some poor unsuspecting nation)
Hi everyone, Mayo, Ergo!
Happy July everyone. Hope you are all able to keep cool in those deadly high temperatures. Craziness. Probably not a good time to mention we're freaking cold down here and we had two metres of snow dump in two days last week. -_-
Ergo,
Cheap Tuesday rules!
*puts Monster Uni on the 'to see' list*
(perhaps we can palm him off to some poor unsuspecting nation)
lol Deal!
Music time: New little NZ singer. 16 years old. Still at High School. Writes her own songs. Lorde - Tennis Court She's bound to do well.
And...Pinch and a punch for the first of the month! =)
Oh man @$#*%#!
Freaking time zones!
It's the First here and in Oz, anyway.
Still counts. =P
*tentatively opens the door*
*looks around the darkened room covered with dust and cobwebs*
Wow, I haven't been here for ages. I was going through my old bookmarks trying to straighten them out and I started reading here from the beginning. My how things have changed. It's kinda bummed me out that almost everyone is gone. I'm guessing that even Mayo himself doesn't read here anymore but I just want to say I miss all of you that used to wander these halls and the good times that we used to share. I hope all is well with everyone.
*quietly closes the door*
*takes one last glance and now silent castle, before walking back down the road*
^ Hi TJ :D
Eeee! People came back!! =)
*rushes and hugs 12:47am and 6:23am*
Good afternoon!
Good afternoon!
Hi there =)
So who is queueing up to see The Conjuring?! It's trailer was scary enough, I don't think I'd survive the full length film!! Based on a true story stuff is the worst OMG!! >_<
Ergo,
V8s!! Lucky you!
Sad about your Grandparents home. The memories will always linger despite the property's changes and new occupants. Hopefully the new occupants will enjoy it just as much as your Grandparents did. =)
Those are some serious heat waves up north. Hope everyone is keeping cool.
Good afternoon!
Hiya PP, it is sad, but the people are saying they want to do it up (it'll be a big job) Be nice to see it restored & lived i again rather than the site just redeveloped.
Been a bit shaky over in NZ again today, hope you and yours are all safe and sound
Hi there =)
Yep, all good thanks, Ergo. LOLing at the geo-science experts who said that the 5.6 shake, a few days ago, on the same fault line through the Cook Strait, was a rare one on a small fault, and not likely to get any bigger. =)
And restored is lovely!!! So many places get ripped out these days!
Good morning!
Hi everyone. =)
It was really nice to meet them and hear stories. Spent a really nice afternoon with them all.
That was so nice of you, Ergo! You must have made them so happy. =)
*Leaving behind the cutest little dance music video EVER, for young girls Crayon Pop - Bar Bar Bar *
Finally!
SM = Shady as %#@*
Sorry for the rant. Four freaking years of this rubbish. B*st*rds >_<
*is - not ia
Good afternoon!
Wow PP they've finally proven SM is doing everything they've been saying they weren't doing - good on them!
It's scary that a recording company can wield such power in a country. Hope this decision makes them change their ways and that JYJ can go on to much greater things!
Hi there =)
I hope so, Ergo. >_<
Perversely, because SM made JYJ unable to promote locally, JYJ went on line - and globally.
People power. =)
Good morning!
Good morning =)
NZ singer Ginny Blackmore - Bones. Completely going to end up on some TV soundtrack. Not to be confused with NZ singer Gin Wigmore, currently out on Warped.
Hope everyone is well. =)
Eeeeee! I really, really like the new Doctor Who! It's kind of going back to Who's original roots, but he looks like he could still be a little sassy, like the more recent Doctors.
The 12th Doctor is...
Good morning!

And don't you just love how the BBC recycles actors?! He's been in Russel T Davies episodes of both - Torchwood: Children of Earth and DW: Fires of Pompeii. =)
I really liked the David Tennant and Catherine Tate episodes. Rose/romance - a bit meh. =)
I'm reeeeeeeeeaddy!!!
Good morning!
Hi everyone.
Oops! Wrong John Newman link, sorry. That one was behind the scenes.
Correct link = John Newman - Love Me Again =)
Good morning!
Morning =)
haha, a rogue f= appeared
Haha! I sat up when I saw it, Ergo! I was like, "Ergo...?"
Yeah, except for one week, we completely bypassed winter chill also. Suspect our southern summer is going to be a bit of a wet humid bugger.
Good morning!
PP it got a bit colder at night here but days are still lovely and summery.
Means I can get my plants for in front of our new veranda now it's all finished, (we closed in underneath on the weekend) going to get some mini citrus to go along, so we get the beautiful scent of the flowers and the fruits.
Good afternoon!
Hi everybody =)
Happy Autumn all. =)
Wow. Time has flown in the last couple of weeks!
Good morning!
Hey PP, i did ave a lovely birthday thanks, and thank you for the message on my blog :)
WE went for lunch at Ribs & Rumps where I ate too much lol then shopped for my gift - a new leather purse
I still have money to spend as I have no idea what I wanted so I got some prepaid visa credit so when I see something I can get it.
LOVE the video too, very clever!!
Good evening!
Great new songs by G Dragon lately but my fave of them is
Crooked
the lyrics are really quite sad.
(translated)
Nothing ever lasts forever
In the end, you changed
There is no reason, no sincerity
Take away such a thing as love
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Leave me alone
I was alone anyway
I have no one, everything is meaningless
Take away the sugar-coated comfort
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
I scream and get dizzy
I vent out of boredom to other couples
I start fights for no reason like a town gangster
Sometimes, I purposely shake my leg, crookedly
The main characters of the movie called this world is you and me
A lonely island, lost and wandering
The empty streets are filled with those who are alone
Unlike my heart, the weather is so damn nice
I used to believe in you alone and I was happy
But like a joke, I am left alone
You used to promise me with your pinky finger
But in the end
Nothing ever lasts forever
In the end, you changed
There is no reason, no sincerity
Take away such a thing as love
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Leave me alone
I was alone anyway
I have no one, everything is meaningless
Take away the sugar-coated comfort
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
I’ll put on thick eyeliner, use a whole can of hairspray
Leather pants, leather jacket with a frown
I want to hide my pain and become even more crooked
So you can feel sorry, I’ll spit toward the sky
You’re scared of my crude words and my rough eyes
But actually, I’m afraid, I want to go back but I have nowhere to go
I want to love but no one to love, what am I supposed to do?
I can’t turn it back
I used to believe in you alone and I was happy
But like a joke, I am left alone
You used to promise me with your pinky finger
But in the end
Nothing ever lasts forever
In the end, you changed
There is no reason, no sincerity
Take away such a thing as love
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Leave me alone
I was alone anyway
I have no one, everything is meaningless
Take away the sugar-coated comfort
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Will you not say anything for me tonight?
I didn’t know being alone would be this hard (I miss you)
Will you be my friend tonight?
On this good day, this beautiful day, this day where I miss you
Tonight, I’ll be crooked
Been listening to it all day
Good afternoon!
Good afternoon!
Hello everybody =)
Horrible week in the USA with flooding around Boulder and now Washington Naval Yards. Hope everyone and their loved ones are safe.
Ergo, I'm so pleased you had a lovely day! And lots of meat by the sounds of it! Yum!
I’ll put on thick eyeliner, use a whole can of hairspray
Typical G Dragon lol,
But, yes, those lyrics are more emotional than you expect when you see him and his angry video for the song.
Okay, dare you all not to cry when watching this advertisement. Yep, an advertisement from Thailand.
Good afternoon!
Wow, PP, just wow. That is such a beautifully made, moving piece of film (it's to good to be called an advert)
Hi there =)
Ergo, it gets even better! It's based on a true story. The photos at the end are of the real Doctor. =)
Good morning!
PP that's amazing, just shows you can never know where a simple act of kindness can lead
Good morning!
looks like 5 more messages here then...
well 4 more after this one
Good afternoon!
Good morning!
Good morning =)
Hi Mayo, Ergo and 1:12am!
Just dropping by to drop another NZ song you might hear more of soon. FIFA 14 people probably know of it already. =)
David Dallas - Runnin'
It was filmed up in Northland - a tiny little place called Pawarenga, up in the Hokianga.
Hope everyone is keeping well. =)
Good Morning!
hiya PP!! Thanks for the clip!
Well, looks like this is the last comment on the post, so see you on the next post back :)
