I arrived suddenly, and knew for certain that I was in the best place. It was warm and calm and I stood quietly in the moment, waiting for my turn. But, I quickly realized I was alone. Figuring my wait would be short; I let out a breath releasing the smoke from my lungs and viewed my new environment. All around me the black tar covered ground seemed endless, as if I stood in the parking lot for the world’s demise. Its emptiness ran undisturbed to the limits of my sight, and I thought, “When does it all get here?” Then, as I dropped my spent cigarette to the ground, intending to snub it out with the toe of my boot, something caught my eye.
At the hem of my faded, old black shirt was a white thread and without reflection I pulled it. As I pulled, it continued to reveal itself. So I continued to pull, believing that my shirt would soon unravel. But instead, my shirt remained intact while the string started to wind around itself, twining, until it became as thick as a hangman’s rope. With both my hands I began to work against gravity to slow it down, but it quickly stole my grip allowing the rope to spill out, coiling at my feet. When it stopped its fall, the weight of it almost pulled me over and I realized it must be connected to me. I pulled up my shirt and discovered it cleanly attached to the center of my chest.
Then I noticed smoke coming up from the center of the pile and realized the rope had coiled itself around my still lit cigarette. I frantically began to kick at the rope, fearing that it would fuse its way to my heart, igniting it. My success gave way to alarm as I heard from behind me the approaching sound of children’s laughter. When I turned, they were upon me. Several of them grabbed the rope and ran past me. As I watched the rope begin to take off I grabbed for it, but it slipped in my hand. When it disconnected from my chest I fell to the ground and grabbed for its end, but it trailed off behind them, leaving an inky trace.
I remained on my knees. A dull pain echoed in my chest as I watched the children huddle together holding hands to ears, whispering. Several of them looked over at me, but quickly returned to their attention to the group. I felt like an idiot. Oddly, they seemed unfazed by my presence and began to jump rope, their laughter in time with its swooshing rhythm. So, I asked them “Don’t you know you’re playing with the end of me?” My reply came in the most unexpected way, as the smallest of all the children approached me with the seeping end of the rope, smiled and said, “It’s your turn.”
p.s. I’m always fucking late.

Anon,
You go with your bad self.
Congrats 7:26. You won that race by a nose.
^_^
Mayo,
Come get SS Phantom Kitty. Please?
I suppose the Porchies changed his profile too.
Smoke,
Are you going to ask SS to come and get Mayofeetz?
Let me let you in on something, anons.
I'm only going to address this once.
The reason we were laying low (and still are to some extent)--and I suspect I speak for the rest of us eeebil Porkies--was not because of the "Fix." It was because the anon attacks were relentless, and most of us felt that maybe if we just walked away from it, they would stop.
They haven't.
The "Fix" thing did not chase me off. I didn't take it seriously. The idea that poetry and movie quotes are hurtful or even disrespectful is, frankly, laughable to me; that is why I made light of it. I don't really take much seriously. There are two ways in which you can deal with aggression towards you and insults. You can get insulted and hurt--which I have occasionally myself (i.e. the night my friend was in trouble, the night my dog died and they were saying awful things about me and about her, etc.)--or you can laugh about it.
But those were intense and kind of emotional situations for me when I was caught off guard by viciousness. I should not have engaged those people, but I did.
Aside from those madly emotional gimes for me, such as the loss of my pet, and a friend's suicide threat and subsequent attempt, my default setting is to "cheerful." Because I'm wired for happiness, things like the "Fix" really actually don't affect me other than to make me laugh and get snarky. I try to make light of bad situations with humor. Often times people don't get it or they think that's the wrong way to deal with it. To me, it's just a way to deflect it.
So, if you are continuing to post that because you think that it means something to me--that the idea that my like-minded friends and I talking on this blog is hurtful and we should be sorry--you are wasting time and space. Our absence had nothing to do with that. For most of us, it was to try to see if you anons would back the hell off and give Mayo's place a bit of peace if we lay low.
And for me, because I just felt gross and yucky after that night with my friend's crisis.
But none of us eve said we were staying away for good. And now that it appears that our plan didn't work, because you are still here being nittilynasty and spamming it up, I kinda see less and less of a reason to stay away. It didn't make a difference.
No, I don't think it's wrong to post quotes and poetry on the blog of a poet who has joined us in our movie and lyric quoting games. That's not Earth logic.
If you dislike me, or us that much, stop wasting your valuable time on us and read something you do enjoy.
Try to make a difference in aspect of life that have a larger impact on the real world. This is a blog. You're bound to meet people who annoy you. The good thing about the internet is that when you turn the little black box off, The Bad People go away. It's amazing!
But instead of trying to be the blog despots, go out and make a real difference, you know? Don't you think that would be a better use of your time?
Why of course!
SS,
Will you come and get Mayofeetz? Don't even ask about the name.
*snickers*
I am thinking of the number 1121.
I'm thinking of the number 22.
I am thinking of the number 20.
God, I'm transparent.
Wait, was that the wrong answer?
I'm thinking of the number 27.
I'm not sure what the right answer is, RW! O_o
I'm thinking of more than one number.
Hi, S&V! :D
Hi, Solly! :D
Hi, anon! :D
Who else is here?
Oooo
The porchies have special powers. Good on them. I have special powers too.
^_~
Hi ResWreck. Now I'm thinking of the number 1227.
My student number adds up to nine! I just got reminded! :)
Hey RW!
Hi anon thinking 27. Hi everybuddy.
Now I'm thinking of the number 1025.
Hi, K! :D
Didja have a good day? Didja??
If it feels right to you ResWreck
it can not be wrong.
^_~
RW, I got accepted into the alternative medical school and am going on a trip to China to study there in April. So pretty good, I'd say. :D
And RW, I'd like to thank you for inspiring me to go to this school, and for like supporting me about four years before I even met you.
OMG I HAVE TO GO.
House is on!
Yay for Jules! I am so excited for her! ^_^
I'm still thinking 20. Maybe 14.
Not exactly sure yet.
CONGRATS, K!!!!
And you owe it all to me, honey! ^_^
4
It's a good number.
I still think 22.
Hi Guys,
I'm off to watch House!
I'm still thinking of more than one number!
I just emailed my hairdresser to make an appointment to colour my hair brown.
Yes, brown!
She's going to go into shock!
Oh yeah, House!
Hey, RW! Buy some bling for me tomorrow.
K won't mind. And if she does? So what!
♥
See you guys later!
Have fun, Solly! :)
Will do, S&V! ^_^
Bye!
I like thinking about that one much more.
^_^
Mayo,
Have a great night!
It's time for House, so with that in mind, I leave you with this:
House: "You can have all the faith you want in spirits, and the afterlife, and heaven and hell, but when it comes to this world, don't be an idiot. Cause you can tell me you put your faith in God to put you through the day, but when it comes time to cross the road, I know you look both ways."
Love to YOU Always,
S
p.s. Twice.
1227 is a good number, to be sure.
Gonna go watch movies.
Have a good evening, everyone :)
It's one of my favorite numbers now ResWreck. I'll stick with thinking that number for the night.
Enjoy your movies.
I like 242 and 808.
gōng xi
zhu ni lu tu yu kuai
SS,
You rock, my friend.
Have a great night!
Changed my mind. I'll be thinking about 530 for the rest of night
maybe.
Or
I'll be thinking 530 and 1227 for the rest of night.
That is my final answer.
I'm thinking about 69
2 guesses....who am I?
A numbers game?
-A
Let's see. Who's the dirtiest person here?
Has there been another super seeekrat message from SS or sumthin? My decoder glasses broked.
Mayo(hands in pants)naise.

Can I borrow your decoder glasses Amy? Anons? I can't see nuttin through these shattered lenses.
^_~

You could be Kapu. She gets excited over that number
alot.
Oh S(S)S, yay! You fixed the link too, aren't you made of awesome? Yes you are. ^_^ Xie xie ni!
9:00, my seekrat decoder glasses don't work. I never seem to spot the special messages where they are ghostwritten.
-A
nope.
Hint= I'm not Bill or Ted.
8:58, I think he fixed the link to the Muse song Invincible which was tied to the Ghandi quote on March 26. I don't really know what else it could be.
Or you could be Tristan. That number seems to excite him too.
Or Sister Midnite.
And now Fringe, which I liked better when it was called X Files.
Well, I'm gonna bounce outta here for a bit. Again, O Subtle Mind, thank you for being there for me, and for all of us. ^_^

You got faulty decoder glasses Amy.
You should sue.
My shattered lenses cut my finger. I'll sue too.
^_~
Thankies for the info 9:04.
Will you be our special decoder from now on? We won't sue you.
^_^
I'm here to help 9:04. :)
I meant to sign my post as 9:04.
Sorry 9:10. :(
Hey to anyone here

I like helpful people 9:04.
I think you'll make an excellent decoder for us. I'll make sure to take special care of you. No shattering allowed. :)

Hi various anons.
Hi BC.
No need to apologize 9:04.
Glad to see your frown turned around. I don't doubt that you will try your best. That is all we ask. I'm sure your best is better than we could imagine. How we ask for more?

"The day after the day after the day after tomorrow"
Hmmm- Thursday. Is Mayo giving us a hint about his identity?
According to Smoke Mayo was answering her. According to Kapu SS is sending her a secret message. These people are crazy and delusional. I see no message from SS and Mayo could be talking about anything.
This rules; Eddie kinda owns a bit of my fangirl soul. Don't be afraid of haunted houses! It's mostly misdirection and psychology but if it really is haunted, then the dead can't hurt you. It's those damn living people you have to watch out for.
Well, and zombies.
Your posts are lots of fun and have made an already happy day happier (I got accepted into medical school today--I know, you guys don't even know me, but it's news to me and I have to tell the whole world!)
Thank you for this post, and to Eddie: Wow. Just, dude. Wow. ^_^
HALLOWED BE THY WEEN.

Hi there TJ, how are you?
hi there bc. :)
i saw your comment on my blog but i haven't had a chance to reply yet. it's good to see you again. any word on when they're going to have your internet connection fixed?
Oops, sorry about that TJ. I was on youtube :p
I just got the damn thing fixed earlier tonight as a matter of fact.
that's good! glad you got it fixed.
what were you watching on youtube? anything interesting?
Hi everyone!!!
Mayo you are still as fucked in the head as always with this post, but hay it is your blog.
I have not had time to read everything going on, so i am going to do it later.
So how is every one tonight?
pj
Hi TJ, and BC....Blows kiss!
I'm going to apologize in advance if i pop off with out saying goodbye, cause i am about to leave and have a night out.
O.K. I have to say something about this medical school thing.
Going to school for holistic or alternative medicine is not the same as going to med school. It's not even close to being the same thing. Damn. That was really annoying me.
I feel so much better now!
I'm sure she is not intentionally trying to mislead anybody. Yep.
Congrats Kapu. Remember to specify the difference. Med school students around the world would probably appreciate it if you did.
Nothing interesting TJ, just some music videos. I'm glad to see you here :)
Hi there PJ *blows kiss* take care!
And in the tradition of All Halloween, a moment of shear terror
Everyone have a great nite! ;)
hi p.j. -- have a fun night out. :)
anon, it's still a pretty cool thing that she got accepted and is continuing her studies and pursuing a goal.
and hello TJ, PJ and BC.
Hello all! TJ, BC!!!, Amy (in the bath?), and PJ!!!!! How are you, girls?
And Anon, too, hello! I don't know how long I'LL be on either. Going back and forth, multi-tasking as per usual.
So...cold enough for ya? :D
Hello there Triston. See you later.
And hi and bye TA!
Hi there J, how are you?!? I got the pics, you guys look great :)
i used to watch a lot of muisc vids on youtube, too, bc. this computer doesn't play videos so well, however.
hi and by triston. have a good night.
hi there, j. sorry about the slowness...my computer is dragging its feet for some reason.
good to see you. :)
It is a cool thing Toujours. It's just not the same thing as going to med school.
That's too bad TJ :(
Hi OP, it is just my luck i get back from the coldest place i have ever been and what do it get,,, more fucking cold.
I cant win!
Hey BC, I replied to your email a minute ago.
TJ, I have some info for you about a couple books and a website tied in with it.
The author's name is Karen Marie Moning. She's written a couple of books in this series, the first is Darkfever, the second Bloodfever, about a woman who finds out she's a "sidhe-seer". It involves both the "real" world and the world of "Fae". There's a website set up supposedly by the main character called sidhe-seersinc.com. Thought you might enjoy all that.
That's Murphy's Law for you, PJ. It's supposed to warm up here by the end of the week, maybe you'll get some warmth too!
How's everybody in your world?
Everyone is fine, lost, frozen and in total bliss at the moment.
I did post you back at the rabbit hole...lol
fair enough, anon. i'm happy for her, is all.
thanks j., i'm going to have to check that out. :)
Except for the fact that at the end, I get not only a master's degree in science, but a DOM in an as-yet undetermined specific science. ^_^
Doctoral Program
The profession of Oriental Medicine has been researching and preparing for the introduction of doctoral-level education into the field for almost 10 years. This process has led to the development of a clinically-based curriculum currently in the final stage of approval by the Accreditation Commission for our field. Once this program is accredited, Colleges such as ours will be able to begin offering doctoral programs, something that is anticipated within the next few years. The (university deleted) has already begun preparations to offer such a program and, with its active research department, Masters degree, Residency programs and excellent faculty, it has both the range and depth of resources to accomplish this. Graduates of such a program would receive the designation D.O.M. subject to state approval of a doctoral degree title. This will be a milestone for our College, its students and the field as a whole and will provide for a new generation of advanced clinicians, teachers and researchers in Oriental Medicine.
Good night and thanks again!
rides here, bye eveyone!!!
blows kiss!!!!!
night!
Yallllllllllllll righty then, I'll take a look. :)
That is very cool kapu. Congratulations. I hope you get it.
Bye PJ *blows kiss*
Goodnight PJ, talk to you soon! Have a good time!
good night pj. :)
good night kapunua, congratulations!
I still don't see where she thinks SS is answering her.
j., bc, are you guys still here?
Yeah, TJ, I'm still here. Kind of wandering around like I had good sense. :D
I'm still here TJ, but I think I'm gonna sign off. My eyes feel really dry.
See you guys later.
Yes. April is only 6 months away. We'll have to have a big bon voyage party. Let's start planning. I suggest we all wear leis and grass skirts. The food will be chinese.
Any more ideas?
good night, bc. get some rest.
hi elena -- i was just starting to write a reply to your email.
so! j., elena, anon (if you like), i got a writing job today. :D
*glug*
BC, I didn't drown!
Hiya J, Elena, Teej and Peej!
-A is argh.
Teej, really? Congratulations!
Writing for whom?
And finally
Kittens
Goodnight BC, hope you feel better. *hugs*
Hello Elena! How're you doing?
TJ, cool! Tell us all the dirt.
Good for you TJ. Fortunately you don't have to gloat and make a big deal about it like some people do.
Do tell, TJ
What kinda job?
Elena, I like your kitten-mittens.
-A
Can any of you anons just be happy for her? Seriously?
Hey Amy! Look for an email in a few minutes.
Awwwww, look at the babies. Sweet little kitties! And I finally looked at your pic of you and Stormy, Elena. She's gorgeous! She looks just like you! :D
hi amyranth. :)
it's an article for a pagan print magazine -- about the early 20th c. painter joseph stella, and the implications of his work on modern urban paganism.
i've been doing a bit of preliminary research tonight, and i'm excited about the topic -- stella was a futurist, and they were pretty radical. their ideals don't seem to be very compatible with modern pagan ones...which makes this article very interesting to write.
and, it's my first paid job. i've had work published for comp before, but this is the first time i'm gonna get paid.
:D
daaawwww, the kittens are adorable, elena. :)
Teej, I can't wait to read it!
Can you get the mag anywhere, or is it strictly in the US?
Hiya J! I'll be watching for my email then!
-A
Yea TJ
That is so cool. Congrats!
See now that is the nice, polite way to talk about jobs and school. Not crashing in here bragging about it for attention.
That sounds cool, TJ! Congratulations! I hope you can turn this into a regular gig. Like Amy said, can you buy this in, like, bookstores, or is it by order or whatever?
the porchies are in love with SS. they are gushing about him over there.
From what I understand, SS fixed one of his links on his blog.
J, I hit you back.
-A
So he fixed a link so what? What does that have to do with them?
I'm showing more happiness and support for her than she's ever shown to me or my friends.
What? You want us to do a hula for her?
Congrats to Toujours. I'm very happy for you.
tbh, i don't know where it's available. i found out about the job through an lj comm this morning. i'll find out for you guys if you like. :)
here's the weird thing: today i also got a job offer from the local library.i was just chatting with the librarian as she was checking out my books, and it came up. it's a full-time job, too.
i took the application, but was careful to let her know that i'm looking to return to seattle.
it would be a smart thing to do -- take the library job, work the winter, wrack up some dough, go back to seattle in comfort...
but.
i don't think my life is supposed to be about "comfort" now. i think maybe i'm supposed to take the hard path. plus, i just went out to get coffee, and was chatting with my mom about the article, and was so fired up about it, and about writing.
i think the writing is the path i have to follow. it gives me more than a paycheck, it gives me something for my heart, it feeds me in a way no ordinary job could. i think the library offer is the "safe" path being offered to me. i think the article is the true path.
but, i mean, what the hell am i thinking, right?
oofah, sorry. that just kind of spilled out.
thank you, 12:10. :)
Maybe because you're so mean and wrathful anon.
I am happy for Kapu. I am happy for TJ. I see how SS acknowledged her too. She wrote him a poem and talked about a broken link. He fixed it. he said something in Chinese while he was on. Kapu answered it. I can't find what they meant anywhere but it is obviously Chinese.
I wish success for everyone. I think if you are nice you would get niceness back but you obviously hold a grudge against her.
Teej, I think in a lot of cases, we're all about to take a pretty hard path. The economy alone is going to put a lot of us here in between a rock and a hard place. If you can, I'd say make all the money you can now, because even when you get back to Seattle, you're going to want to keep yourself IN, not only in comfort.
-A
You're welcome Toujours.
it gives me something for my heart
I like that. I think you'll be a wonderful writer.
I tried nice with her. Tried for months. Didn't get any back. Got nothing. Gave up.
You're right. You do get back exactly what you give.
You have a nice night 12:14.
signed
a mean and wrathful anon
Anon, TJ is a wonderful writer!
You both have done a great job on the Gothic.
But, um... you weren't insulted when we burnt those Arabella dolls the other night were you? We had just heard this story...
-A
thank you again, 12:16. your encouragement is very nice to read. :)
amyranth, i hear what you're saying, but i don't think i can. i think i have to jump again, and trust that it's the right thing for me to do. it's what i did last spring, and look where that got me, all the wsy to nyc.
i have to believe that i have the map for my life inside me. i can't see it, i can't pull it out when things get tough, but it's there, and i will be guided by it.
do you remember my drawing awhile back? the lady with the compass? that's what that drawing was about. she wasn't holding the compass, she was cupping her hands around the compass in her heart. her head was down because she was listening to the dial on it spin and point her in the direction she needed to go.
i'm not going to make my final decision about the library job yet. there's time to really consider it, and really do some listening.
oh cripes. another freakin tome. stop me before i comment again!
HI BI! Even us anons know you by now!!!
*grins*
Teej, keep the compass in your heart, where it belongs.
*thinks*
Okay, why am I thinking of Pirates of the Caribbean now?
-A
takes me so long to write them, i'm out of sync by the time they get posted too. sheesh.
wait. what?? you guys were burning arabella?? our arabella? arabella descendant of the drak lord mayo?
hoo boy. you guys have got nerves of steel.
who is the drak lord mayo? are we talking mirror, mirror universe here?
typo fairy.
*shakes head*
Hey guys sadly I gotta go.
TJ congrats again.
Amy no more doll burning.
Night anons
You know, I just tried to translate those "Chinese" words from earlier. I used Babelfish, both Chinese traditional and Chinese modern, and Japanese.
They wouldn't translate.
Oh, night J
I thought you disappeared!
Goodnight Elena, talk to you tomorrow. Have a great night. *hugs*
Goodnight Elena, see you later!
No, no... Go back to yesterday, last night or the night before. And look for the post by Seeping. They wrote a creepy as fuck story about a little girl that had a doll that was named Arabella.
*shudders*
Then, they left a doll at everyone's door, and we had to destroy them all in Mayo's new Flaming Woodchipper.
It used to be just a woodchipper, but adjustments were made.
Sorry Mayo!
-A
Mayo
Hope you had a good day. Shit, I do sound like a broken record, don’t I? Well I do hope that but maybe I should think of other ways to say it. How’s this? Mayo, it is my sincerest wish that your day was full of wonderful moments that captured your imagination and brought a smile to your heart. Oh crap that sounds like a Hallmark card.
Anyway I can’t really stay tonight. The one who glares at me for being on the computer is home. Suppose I could glare back but it’s just easier to give in.
Hope tomorrow is a good one for you. Fill the day with all sorts of things that make you happy. Then share that happiness with others.
Night Mayo
Elena (wondering if giving in is the same as giving up)
Enjoy your trip. Kapu got it and she said xie xie back.
good night elena, it was good to see you here tonight. tell grumpy "hi" for me. :)
so, amyranth, they weren't actually dolls of our arabella? just arabella dolls. hmmmm.
okay, i'll let it slide this time.
What does "xie xie" mean, Anon? Can I ask, where did you get the translated version of the whole comment?
no
No? Why not?
I looked up half of it, I wanted to know what he was saying. Xie xie means thank you.
What I don't understand is what Kapu meant with the sentences broken up while talking to Mayo and SS. But I guess they got it or at least SS did or something.
I wasn't the anon who said no
j., i've found that translate.google.com works better than babelfish.
Thanks, TJ. I tried it. No luck there either.
Oh well. Whatever!
hello!!!
I haz spiderweb earrings from Wendy!!!!
and J I iz wearin your socks!
All righty, I'm gone for the night too. Goodnight TJ and any nice anons, see you later.
love, faith, hope, trust, friendship
Thanks, TJ. I tried it. No luck there either.
huh. i usually have pretty good luck with google. i didn't try to translate it myself though, so.
a mystery, i guess.
hi ergo!
good night, j., sweet dreams. :)
Hi Ergo! How cool! Remember to wear all your gear on the 31st, that's the actual date of Halloween.
Sorry to see you and then be leaving, but I'm pretty tired tonight. Hope you're doing ok and enjoying your vicarious holiday!
I'm taking off too. I need some real sleep.
I dreamt I got lost in a supermarket, then came out just in time to witness someone getting hit by a bus.
Needless to say, I didn't sleep well. At all.
Goodnight everyone.
well done TJ!!
and I saw KITTTEHZ!!!!
and what are we translating?
Mayo,
A thousand compliments on your story! I told you you were such a good writer that anything you wrote would be great. Well, you wrotte it so well I thought it was real, not fiction, and I was convinced you or someone you love was in the hospital dying of cancer.
I'm glad to know your story was just that--at least I hope it was only a story!
Thanks for the 'Weeny words, Mayo. You certainly gave us our money's worth!
Goodnight, pleasant dreams to you.
goodnight J and amy sweet dreams
J I am building up to it!
good night amyranth, better dreams tonight. :)
good night again, j. :)
ergo, there was a comment made in chinese earlier, apparently ss.
and thank you!
i iz a writur! :3
Dear SS,
Halloween's creeping up on us. Do you have your costume yet? I could see you as Batman, maybe, with the whole underwear-on-the-outside thing. Or, oh, I don't know, some sort of Halloween monster. Just not the Mummy. Get those bandages wrapped around your head, no eyeholes, and you might fall in the pool. O_o
Now that Mayo's written his Halloween story, we just have to wait for yours. I have a feeling it's going to be one mother of a tale...I hope.
Enjoy the day tomorrow! I'm going to go do my early voting, and take a tub mat back to Wal-Mart. FUN!
Goodnight, baby. I love you.
My heart to yours, always.
oh cool what was the comment?
nice to see SS about if it was him
*waves to SS*
*waves to Mayo too*
anyone want snickerdoodles?
um, it was something to kapunua, if i recall. wishing her a good trip when she goes to china in the spring. :)
snickerdoodles? yes, please.
you know, my mom, when she drinks a latte (not very often) only has one kind: snickerdoodle. just have the barista flavor the latte with vanila syrup and a splash of cinnamon, and bob's your uncle.
oh awesome, I bet she'll love China it's a fantastic place, so much history and art and food!
I really like snickerdoodles now I know what they are, I have never had a flavoured coffee except for vanilla and mocha, I'm never sure how all the other flavours would taste
Goodnight J and Amy, sweet dreams.
Hi there Ergo *waves*
Welp, I am off for the night(Fixing the internet is one thing don't have to worry tonight. Whew)
Goodnight TJ and Ergo, sweet dreams guys. TJ, good luck and congrats on the job :)
Night everyone.
Sugarplum: I have sent you a couple of emails your way and some comments on your myspace. I hope you're well. I am going to try to make it to mardi gras next year(I was considering going there for about a few months now)
I hope you're safe and sound. Sweet dreams *kisses*
miranth: If you read this, I sent you an mail. Hope you're okay.
Night again.
*waves*
goodnight BC sweet dreams
snickerdoodle is a great cookie, and fun to say, as well. :)
just imagine the vanilla coffee with a light cinnamon flavor. my mom swears by it. she'll be pleased i am spreading word of it across the globe. lol
good night bc. i haven't checked my email yet to see if yours got through, but i will. sweet dreams. :)
I will try it next time, it sounds a bit like a coffee mix I've used, vienna coffee
hmm, that might be similar.
hey, i don't know if you saw my comment last night, but thank you for the new songs! i'm really enjoying them, especially the ones by the living end. :)
I did see Tj you're welcome
I really like them too, I have to get their new album I think, have you heard White Noise?
no, i haven't. is that another band...?
and it just occurred to me tonight that i could maybe play a voice message from you now! but i still don't know how i would send one. how do you do it?
White Noise is Living Ends last single, they are known in the US so it could have been on the radio, you could call up and request it!
pimp da auzzies!
to send a voice message you need to use a mobile that can record voice, most new ones can, then you put it in a message and send it to the email
I tried for carrie though and it didn't work but I may have mucked the email I haven't tried again
it worked for fim, anima and another friend over there
*hee* i'll do that, as soon as i get back to seattle. the radio station there is filled with good people, i can harass them safely. ;)
i'm going to try to send you a message, i'll see if i can do it with my parents' phone tomorrow. oh gosh! this could be neat!
oh yes!!
:D
I can send one to you too, i'll try it to your email when I go in to titor in a bit
i can't wait! :)
i mean, i can, not trying to pressure you, just eager, you know...
:)
TJ just remember I have a memory like a sieve at times, easily distracted by shiny moving things, so if I don't today I will tomorrow, but seeing as I'm thinking of it you have a good chance of today!
oh okay, i'll just hope that you don't see anything glittery then! ;)
well I must be off titoring (and messaging)
I'll see you tomorrow
♥
WENDY!!!
thank you!!!!!!!!
*smoooooch*
I IZ WEARIN DEM NOW!!!!!
see you (and hear you) later, ergo! have a good day/evening/slice of time appropriate to your latitude and longitude!
:)
mayo,
where i am, it's just now starting to get cold. at this moment, the house wrapped in night-time, the air chills my cheek and nose.
i know it's silent, but i have my headphones in, so it's just me, this music that i know so well and yet never tire of, and this screen and my thoughts tapping out on the keyboard.
do you remember i used to talk about the spider's thread around my wrist? and then, in june, before my doctor's appointment, for extra courage i looped sewing thread around my wrist and tied it tight. (remember ergo matched me? such a good friend.)
superstitiously, i decided not to cut it when the medical worries were done. it's just thread, but still...
well, symbols are a big part of what i do.
it's still on my wrist. the silly thing hasn't fallen off yet. it's just sewing thread, mayo. it's nothing. you don't even notice it.
but there it is, still.
good night. remember to take care of yourself.
Good morning/afternoon/evening Mayo, SS, Ergo, TJ, Miranth, Amy, J and L, Elena, RW, Possum, FASC, the still greatly missed (and often thought of) Kass; various anons, lurkers and watchers; all soon to be professional writers (YAY TJ) and other assorted artists in the land o’blogbelieve!
How have you all been? Happy and well, or at least doing okay, I hope!
Amy and BC/Sweetcheeks: The new Cradle of Filth album came out yesterday (I think)! T’is called “Godspeed On The Devil’s Thunder”! Check out the first video/single from aforementioned album:
Honey And Sulfer
HOT DAMN and HELL YEAH too!
Sweetcheeks: I’m so happy to see you back!!! I hope you get your computer all fixed soon. I’m trying to get into that account to answer your e~mails. I’m doing okay. Just been busy and dealing with some personal things/my mother’s latest health crisis. L
I’ll tell you all about when I find my password. :P
Thank you, so much, for thinking of me! And, Mardi Gras! YAY!!!!!!
*huge hug and kiss*
Ergo: You’re very welcome. I’m glad you liked the earrings!!! I was hoping they would arrive before Halloween. You know I’m always late ~ even with mailing things out! What does you husband think of all our Halloween craziness? I know. He thinks we’re weird. He’s right! ;)
*smooooooooch*
Elena: Stormy is beautiful!!! I agree with Ergo. She does look a lot like you! Especially the eyes. I see so much kindness there. A bit of mischief too! ;)
Miranth: I’m so sorry to hear about your loss. I’m going to do my blog visiting today and will stop by to read about your friend. I hope you’re doing okay.
Concerning my “connections”, well.... What are you willing to do to get these friends of yours booked? *wiggles eyebrows* LOL!!!! Just kidding! I know you knew that; but, other folks may not. ;)
I’ll e-mail you with the names of some clubs. What’s the crowd capacity of the clubs they usually play?
TJ: CONGRATULATIONS on the writing job!!! I’m so happy for and so proud of you! I know that’s really what you want to do. You’ve talked about writing for as long as I’ve known you/been here. I’m glad you’re going to follow the path of your heart’s desire (work wise, at least). The rest can come later!
Lewis: Dave is going to need to come “CLOSER”! ;)
Possum: CAT STEVENS!!!!! I love it and I love you, you old school(yard) metalhead hippy ! You’re a creature after my own nocturnal heart. ;)
Thanks for commenting on my Voodoo Fest videos!!! My Mars Volta videos ARE attracting more people than the NIN videos. They did put on one hell of a show. WOW, such energy ~ such attitude ~ such anger ~ such.... Thomas on drums. In my opinion, NIN was still the best band there. Trent does look great with that short hair, doesn't he? Yes, I know. SHOCKING coming from my fingertips! I’ve shocked even myself thinking/saying/typing that; but, it does suit him ~ very, very nicely!
For anyone who missed my easy access link and would like to see my Voodoo Fest Videos (I KNOW there are TRENT fans around here. I seem to recall a few folks singing his praises ~ perhaps recently.), here’s the link:

*huge smile again*
Since I haven’t taken up nearly enough space this morning, submitted for your pondering consideration today:

Hi PJ (great to see you back and posting!!!), Andrea, Redrum, Emily, Safe, KD, Star, DW and Martha!
Stopping by...
HEY WENDY!!!! :) Thanks for your kindness. I feel a lot better today - and I am no longer in shock. *hugs* I hope you are still feeling better? And for the tour, I am not sure of the club capacity. I have to call him soon, so I will ask. Its possible he found a venue, as I haven't talked to him in a bit, but I will check!
Bella - *Waves back* Its good to see you! I hope you are well! :)
Anima - Its nice to see you here too! And I don't feel that Mayo has been here to speak to anyone - your May-dar is NOT off, unless mine is too.
BC - I left you a message at your place, but I will email you tomorrow - I am tired just now.
Mayo - You haven't been here, I suspect? That would make the most sense. I had thought you were clueless like me. I still have little faith.
PS - I checked the STATCOUNTER thing - its way off!!
:D
Take care everyone.
