Only an insanely vindictive person would go to the trouble of repeating things they've read on an internet blog to others for the sole intent of getting someone fired from her job.
Kapu's accusations of sexual harrassment in no way affected the person who did that and she had no reason to expect that someone would go to all the trouble of copying, pasting and emailing just to get her into trouble.
Whoever did that is a psychopath. There's no other way to look at it.
Amyranth is an incredibly talented young lady. She can write and draw circles around anyone here. The two most memorable stories I've read here were written by her. The "coffee shop" story and the "bed time" story. Her writing is emotive, visual and passionate. She is a true talent.
Elena is also a very good writer. Their talents should be recognized encouraged.

You know nothing about what happened to my friend, and to me. Are you the type who always goes around saying that women who were assaulted are lying? My friend did not lie. She was just afraid to come forward, as many women are.
My ex-boss is the douche who did nothing to protect her, and who will probably continue to serve his own interests my putting his employees in harm's way. I am glad I'm out of that place because sexual assault from clients was only one of the many ways he and the manager put us in harm's way daily--often by encouraging us to ignore OSHA signs or to mess around with dangerous animals without protection and sometimes shouting us down or laughing at us when we did try to use protection. They constantly laughed off our concerns and we were often told to "suck it up" when we were injured or harassed.
That place was hell. I feel sorry for those who are still there.

i think it is a shame when someone feels offended or chased away, but i also think people in pain sometimes read between the lines things that are not there. you have done that a couple times already in your posting today. you assume people are saying something when they arent.
it would be wonderful if people could take the time to read all the posts and respond to all the different people. it would also be wonderful to take the time to poke in at other blogs, but reality is people do what they can when they can. to condem them for things they didnt do doesnt make you any better.
it is ok to vent here. it is ok to be angry and get it off your chest, but at some point you have to let the pain go and find something more productive to focus on.

i respect you so much for looking at yourself and trying to understand who you are. i think it takes courage to find your own short comings and try to move beyond them. i agree with your personal assessment as i see you and someone who is always kind and compassionate. i just think sometimes life keeps us busy and we dont always have the time to give to those we care about.
when life sucks up our time it is my hope that our friends understand we still care, but we only have so much emotional strength in any given day. to expect us to give beyond that is to be a self person ourselves.
give what you can when you can. work to heal your own demons and move to a more positive place on your path. it takes courage to stop pointing the finger at others and point the finger at ourselves.
we are responsible for our own happiness. to give that power over to others or to blame others for our unhappiness doesnt make us happier. anger begets anger.

I agree with you whole heartedly. Mayo him/herself has stated they are very busy, clearly not wasting their daily lives checking out this blog. However, they have no concerns about wasting other people's time just to fuel their own ego. Are they going to take any responsibility for aiding unfulfilled people to waste valuable life in front of a computer talking to "friends" when the real solution is to do something to obtain fulfillment.
This really has turned into such a shallow place. People come here with their woes, some very serious, and there is an initial outpouring of sympathy quickly followed by inane "me, me, me" attention seeking drivel.
Those I admire most here are probably 2 of the younger members who have experienced terrible tragedies this year and have managed themselves with stoicism that most are incapable of here.

You are being much too specific about all of this. You could go on for eternity about who has done what to who without ever resolving anything. All this does is wear you out to the point of being petty and childish. That happens often here.

China is going to do well. Not only do they have home support but as the host country, their athletes dont have to qualify same as the other countries do.
They also implimented this program a few years back and wait til you here this, you have to love the chinese. They actually analysed the events and began finding and training athletes to fit into spots or sports for their advantage for more medals.
They also plan well for each event, such as gymnastics. You are allowed to enter 5 men per event, they didnt waste the energy of the 5th man because the first 4 were so strong. In a way it is optomistic on their part putting so much faith in the 4 they dont need a back up man.
I heard them talk about it on TV this "plan". I want to research more about it. I say good for them.
