I've just realized it's been a while since I've done this, so long in fact this feels entirely awkward.
I finally figured out what the last four lines remind me of: "'Tis better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all."
Other than that, I kind of feel like one of those little warning things that state "Current music" or "Current mood" or whatever the case may be.

My mind is everywhere at once, focused on about ten different things, and none of them are going anywhere. It's just super frustrating. I hate being flighty.

See, I said I'd talk to you later today, and here I am. Usually, yeah, I'm up later; tonight seems to be a night for thinking more than talking, though.
First, I trust you're doing alright out there. We haven't heard much from you lately, which is ok, but you know I worry about you when you're away. As long as there's no phone call from the ER or the police, I guess you're keeping on. ;D
I've been feeling better the past few days. A little more medication, a little less stress, some sunshine, and a best friend who's improving with each passing day...all these have helped immeasurably. It's not been an easy year so far (and yeah, I know it's more than half-over); things will maybe start turning around now. Keeping my fingers crossed.
My biggest excitement today was trimming Raindrop's nails. I know, you wish you could've been here to help. I know. We lead a life of rollercoaster thrills and chills. It's understandable that you're envious. *coughsarcasmcough* For one of the first times, no one came out of the experience bloodied or bitten. Not hard, anyway. :D YAY!
For now, I'm going to go; I have Elena's goodnight to post for her. She's been playing nursemaid to Mr Sickie Pants, and hasn't had much "me" time on the computer. I'll leave you with a little poem I wrote.

So yeah, I'm worn out, but it's one of those good worn outs. It was so nice to get out of the house, spend time with my family, spend a little money, act silly, and laugh my ass off. I needed it more than I realized. It was only when I was on my way back to my house that I became aware of how tense it makes me. My stomach tied up in knots and I was physically shaking. Your "home" should never make you feel that way, so maybe it's not so bad that I'm getting away from all that.
I hope you don't mind my teasing you about the waxing nostalgic thing. You know sdock10 has always tried to tap, tap, tap on your buttons a little. It's all in good fun. Maybe you get a little giggle out of some of the stuff we can come up with. Maybe?

Yeah this is a pre-recorded message. I know I’m not gonna be able to write a goodnight later so here I am, doin’ it now. Kinda weird but then not all the unexpected for me. Today I finally got a chance to get out of the house (been dealing with a sickness, not my own) for a week. It felt good to get out. I spent the whole day with Fred going to bookstore and thrift stores gathering up books. Oh course I’ve got tons of work to do now but that’s okay. I found some great books. Even a few true crime books I’ve been looking for forever. Yeah, I could have ordered them but you know that sorta ruins the fun of hunting for things, ya know? Oh and I found some of the old horror comics I just love too. Yep, it was a pretty damn good day.
But now I’m back in the House of Sickness. Must fall back into the nurse role. That’s why I knew I wouldn’t be here tonight. So my good friends told me they’d post this for me. Wouldn’t want you to think I’d deserted you. Shit, I just snorted Coke Zero laughing at that last statement. Yeah, I’m sure that thought would upset you. It’s okay Mayo. To tell you the truth I think you’re a pretty damn patient man to let me write shit to you every night. Of course I’m assuming you read it. Now I’m pondering this…Yeah, I think you probably do. Regardless it makes me feel better. Do you understand? Are there things in your life that you do because they make things feel more stable? Writing my goodnight (even if it isn’t the last thing I write at night) does that for me. There is too much chaos in my life right now. I need things to remind me that eventually (hopefully) thing will get back to normal. Even if normal is sorta boring sometimes I miss it.

no news. doctors never call when they say they will.
but i was allowed to remove the bandage today, and once again shower. seeing the gouge in my chest, seeing the bloody messy line held shut with steri-strips, smaller than i anticipated but sore, so sore with the bandage removed, seeing that was a bigger shock than i had expected.
i'm very good about not thinking about things. i can distract myself easily and effortlessly. i have the brain of a ferret. just dangle something shiny in front of me.
the downside is that things-not-thought-about tend to jump out suddenly and devour you.
so it was this evening.
the fear ate me alive. it's cracking my bones and sucking my marrow even now.

Amy I can't even walk in the door with out being told I fuck up the day before. As as he sees me. You know you did this and this wrong. and than every time he comes by he has to remind me.
If I am lucky the other one won't come by and start up with it as well. Because the other supervisor doesn't know when to shut up. I had to hid in the bathroom from him one time.
yeah, boyfriend is fine, it was her Mom that was in hospital, but now she's fine too, and they will all be fine until they watch the fucking third part of Dr. Horrible, which is kind making me want to organize a Joss Whedon kick ass party, and not in a good way, it is a party, in which we repeatedly kick him in the ass.
MJ, the other thing to keep in mind is management needs to know when it's time to step down.
I'll be the first to say it, I'm a shitty manager. If I had the proper training and support, maybe I could have been something good, but it didn't work out that way. One of the other girls I work with told me just to step up and tell the SM what my problems are, but where would that get me? Yes, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, but what if it really needs an axle replacement? Grease isn't going to do shit all after awhile.

Amy if only that would work. People have told that supervise to get the fuck away from them. He keeps on talking. The have left their work areas to get away from him. He follows asking what is wrong. At least with the ass hole you can tell him off and he gets the point.
