Hollow point.

I will repeat it again and again.
For thirty-two, then thirty-three
time stopped. But, when does it end?
With empty rooms and unfilled beds,
and desperation; the last moments
and too many words left unsaid.

I am copying each name with bold black ink onto plain white card, filling the empty space with the only tangible evidence I have. One at a time I place a card face down before me while I consider each as if it were my own. Then, on the back of each card I write my name.
I can, but they cannot.

So, I will.

So Jo-chan cracked me up really hard twice in the last two days. Last night we were talking about both movies and high school and I asked her if she'd ever seen "Heathers." She replied, "Heather's what?"

Then today we were out planting trees and listening to TBS and we got to the part where he says, "Everything I know about breaking hearts I learned from you, it's true. I've never done it with the style and grace you have, but I made long term plans...."

Jo-chan thought he said, "I've never done it with the style and grace you have, but I make love to plants."

Just thought you should all know so that you can get the image that I got of Adam Lazzara when she said that.

Okay, I woke up from my nap and just had BBQ potato chips!
That being said, I can't believe I forgot home fries.
I need to hit the pomme frites place.

Jules, thank you for your comment!

I don't think you've lost your 'mojo', you just need to sit down and just write. That piece you had up for 3.5 seconds, a while ago was awesome.

*blog: owwwwwwwwwwwww*

*sits back to watch blog for movement*

I see you mentioned loss, well as Elena said, time is a big one, wonder where it went, how long there is left, can I do things I wanted; friends I had when I moved, you just can't keep up, but the one thing I really regret losing was my confidence and trust when I was 20 and a guy I believed was a friend attempted to molest me, you move beyond it but it's always there, and just recalling it makes me feel sick.

Fimble Star said...

Hello guys, I can’t stay I will be back later, just came to catch up and then I have to go. Boo hoo.

I know it has passed but you said something that you lost.

Well, I have lost the biggest thing for me and all within the last year. I lost my friends, my independence, my joys, my interests, my entertainment, basically, my life. I was sad about this and it did bother me because I became a shadow, a shadow with my family and myself. But something clicked and now I am going to gain that all back, I am going to grab it all back and hold onto it because I know what it was like to lose it all and I didn’t like it. So I haven’t dealt with the loss and I haven’t gotten over it because I am going to grab it back with both hands and never let it go because the things I lost, made me happy and myself. Load of crap right there but I had the urge to just write it out.

Have a lovely evening people and I will be back in a while.

Oh hell, it died in here.

Sorry guys. I had a phone call, then I watched the performance DVD of LOTMS.

And I nearly cried. WTF?

You know how there are just some moments when a tiny bit of your faith gets restored in whatever you may have lost a little in?

I had put away a lot of old performances of them including my LOTMS, unintentionally obviously. :) Things had changed and I felt like I didn't know that music anymore, so the thing was laying on my bed and I decided to pop it in for old time's sake.

It kind of put things back in perspective. And how convenient, right?

Anonymous said...

Yes, Mustard! I totally know what you mean!
I just had that experience with an author who writes a favorite series of mine. The last one was kind of "ehh", but I bought the latest one yesterday, and it's awesome. I almost don't want to finish it!
That is a great feeling!

Anonymous said...

Hey, Star!

I know. There's like this newness, but not really. It's what you've known all along, but there's this restored feeling, like, man. I don't think I really know how to explain it.

I think I had not thought about the band in awhile or thought about Gerard. Mostly this is because I wouldn't allow myself. So, in doing that, the performances I had taped were collecting dust, songs were getting skipped on my iPod, because I just didn't want to deal with it.

But, now, I think things are getting a little better. I don't know. I think things will be okay with those dudes.

/blabbing

SO! How was your nap!? And who's the author?

ergoproxy said...

phew! help has arrived!!

I was worried!!

how are you star and mustard?

If Gerard can beat the habit again, it will get better. This would mean getting rid of the influences in his life that are bad for his old habits and addictions. Only time will tell, Mustard. But everyone is hoping.

Mustard, my nap was good! I slept for about an hour and woke up to yummy pasta!

The author is Mary Janice Davidson. She writes the Undead series. The first one was Undead and Unwed, then, Undead and Unemployed. The latest is Undead and Uneasy. They are about a girl named Betsy who becomes a vampire, then finds out she is Queen of all Vampires. They are very funny.
The author said she learned a lot from reading fan emails, and listening to fans when she went on her book tour. I'm convinced that that is what made this book as good as the beginning ones.

Use only enough water to cover the rice. Put it on medium heat, or 5 if your stovetop has numbers. When it boils on medium, or 5, turn it down to low or 1, and let it sit for another few minutes until the water is almost gone. Turn it off, then leave the lid on for a good 15 minutes and let it steam from there.

Either that, or buy a box of instant.

It's tearing me apart
It's ruining everything
And I swore, I swore I would be true
And honey so did you
So why were you holding her hand
Is that the way we stand
Were you lying all the time
Was it just a game to you

But I'm in so deep
You know I'm such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to
do you have to let it linger

Oh, I thought the world of you
I thought nothing could go wrong
But I was wrong
I was wrong
If you, if you could get by
Trying not to lie
Things wouldn't be so confused
And I wouldn't feel so used
But you always really knew
I just wanna be with you

And I'm in so deep
You know I'm such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to. do you have to
do you have to let it linger

And I'm in so deep
You know I'm such a fool for you
You got me wrapped around your finger
Do you have to let it linger
Do you have to, do you have to

I just got this in an email from Wendy I'm sure she won't mind me sharing it

Your presence is a present to the world.
You are unique and one of a kind.
Your life can be what you want it to be.
Take the days just one at a time.
Count your blessings, not your troubles.
You will make it through whatever comes along.
Within you are so many answers.
Understand, have courage, be strong.

Do not put limits on yourself.
So many dreams are waiting to be realized.
Decisions are too important to leave to chance.
Reach for your peak, your goal and you prize.
Nothing wastes more energy than worrying.
The longer one carries a problem the heavier it gets.
Do not take things too seriously.
Live a life of serenity, not a life of regrets.

Remember that a little love goes a long way.
Remember that a lot … goes forever.
Remember that friendship is a wise investment.
Life’s treasure are people together.

Realize that it is never too late.
Do ordinary things in an extraordinary way.
Have hearth and hope and happiness.
Take the time to wish upon a star.
AND DO NOT EVER FORGET ….
FOR EVEN A DAY
HOW VERY SPECIAL YOU ARE !

Ergo, well cologne is my big trigger. Even though I hate my ex, I love his cologne.

Real lavender is a good one too. It reminds me of my mom and my grandmother.

The ocean reminds me of Cape Breton, and the beach. Coconut oil reminds me of summertime.

Fim -Some reckon it's the same as sarsparilla, but i think it's different to the sars I grew up with, we have a great double sarsparilla a company makes here - yum!!

but I love black jellybeans and things too

Okay, this will probably classify me as ass, but what exactly is root beer?

Because, you know, one would think it's made from roots and beer, would they not?

Funny you should bring this up, EP. Any time I smell Vaseline Intensive Care hand lotion I think of my mother, as she uses it all the time. I had a dream a couple of weeks ago where I smelled my mother (actually, the hand cream), and it was so stong it actually woke me up.

Root beer smells yummy. I can't exactly explain it, but it's good.
I met Ozzy Osbourne last summer at Ozzfest. He smelled like patchouli and something burning, like cinders or fireplace. I kid you not. When he walked away, his scent lingered.

NOM.

I really like A&W. It's not too sweet and not too bitter.

You know what else, I love sarsaparilla. I don't get it much though, oddly enough it's hard to find in the city that has everything.

i have certain smells for different peoples houses. like, the type of washing powder from my old house makes me actually cision myself standing right there in the hall way.

this house, the washing powder smells make me think of it and the same goes for my brothers house, he has a certain scent to his washing.

i can always tell a certain persons house by the smell of the washing.

oh and i know it is gross but growing up with 2 brothers, i realised i could tell which on just farted, it was not pleasant at all. :(

amy we have sarsparilla a lot, but a lot of people hate it!

I really love that Ozzy Osbourne smells like patchouli!

a smell I love which you probably have never smelt is burning sugar cane, it's an amazing sort of sweet smoke, and there is a smell fruit bat colonies give off which you get in rainforests and it is one I just love! It takes me back to my childhood, we used to call it possum smell, but apparently it's the flying foxes

Ergo, I had sarsaparilla a lot when I was a kid, but not so much anymore.

When we get grassfires here, there's a type of grass that grows wild and when it burns it smells heavenly.

Almost enough to make you wanna set the yard on fire. :p

One time in Chemistry class, we were doing an experiment, our teacher, Sister Joan stopped us and said. "Girls, I smell hair burning, please check your hair."
We starting screaming and all whipped off our goggles, but no one's hair was burning.

Good times, good times!

Hello

Root beer is a beverage also sometimes known as Sarsaparilla. Root beer, popularized in North America, comes in two forms: alcoholic and soft drink.

The soft drink version of root beer is non-alcoholic and is generally made using extracts or flavored syrups diluted into carbonated water. It is not as widely popular as other soft drinks such as Coca Cola or Pepsi Cola, and constitutes only 3% of the U.S. soft drink market.[1]

The alcoholic version is made by fermenting a solution of extract and sugar with yeast. Typically this will yield a beverage with about 0.4% alcohol, compared to more than 4% for most regular beers.[2]

Root beer extract may contain a variety of flavors. Bark from the roots of the Sassafras tree was the typical flavor in root beer historically, and is the primary flavor most individuals associate with the beverage. Sassafras bark was banned by the FDA due to the carcinogenic properties of its constituent chemical safrole in 1960. A safrole-free variety is now used, with some claiming that it has a weaker flavor than the pre-1960 variety.[3]

There are hundreds of root beer brands in the United States, produced in every U.S. state,[4] and there is no standardized recipe. The primary ingredient, sassafras, is complemented with other flavors, common ones being vanilla, wintergreen, cherry tree bark, licorice root, sarsaparilla root, nutmeg, anise, molasses, cinnamon and clove.

Homemade root beer is usually made from concentrate,[5] though it can also be made from actual herbs and roots. Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic root beers have a thick and foamy head when poured, often enhanced through the addition of yucca

you will always be warm and safe
in my arms
when I close my eyes.
in my heart
always.

when we danced last night
under the canopy of stars
and the light of the full moon
to the rhythm of our heartbeat
we were home

and, there is no place in the world
i would rather be
than home
with you
always

Please
continue smiling
for me
my love

be well

for you
my love, my heart, my tomorrows
always

WHAT ARE YOU DOING THE REST OF YOUR LIFE?

Sharing it with no one but you for as long as the world will let us.

And when the world stops spinning, I will find you in the next life.

Tonight, I will hold you tighter than I have ever held you before. No space between us. We will be as one. Heart. Breath. Body. Soul. Mind. And if I held the power in my hands, I would stop time just for us, so that we could stay that way always.

For us:

A Line-storm Song
by Robert Frost

The line-storm clouds fly tattered and swift,
The road is forlorn all day,
Where a myriad snowy quartz stones lift,
And the hoof-prints vanish away.
The roadside flowers, too wet for the bee,
Expend their bloom in vain.
Come over the hills and far with me,
And be my love in the rain.

The birds have less to say for themselves
In the wood-world’s torn despair
Than now these numberless years the elves,
Although they are no less there:
All song of the woods is crushed like some
Wild, easily shattered rose.
Come, be my love in the wet woods; come,
Where the boughs rain when it blows.

There is the gale to urge behind
And bruit our singing down,
And the shallow waters aflutter with wind
From which to gather your gown.
What matter if we go clear to the west,
And come not through dry-shod?
For wilding brooch shall wet your breast
The rain-fresh goldenrod.

Oh, never this whelming east wind swells
But it seems like the sea’s return
To the ancient lands where it left the shells
Before the age of the fern;
And it seems like the time when after doubt
Our love came back amain.
Oh, come forth into the storm and rout
And be my love in the rain
