The sincerest form of flattery.

Seasonal Affect

Three months ahead
It gets deep.
The measure remains
Uncharted
While dirt stains

Underneath, waiting warmth
Will rise again.
Spirits lift eyes
Renewed
To the skies

A blazing rage
Hammers shoulders
Covered in paste.
Saved
In the haste

A death produced
Yellow orange glow.
To waste away
Piled
For another day.

Because I am feeling rather optimistic.

p.s. do not be fooled by imitation spread.

Most of us weren't fooled, Mayo.

I get the same way about seasons, you know? You know what this reminds me of?

Underneath, waiting warmth
Will rise again.

"APRIL is the cruelest month, breeding Lilacs out of the dead land, mixing memory and desire, stirring dull roots with spring rain.

Winter kept us warm, covering the earth in forgetful snow,
feeding a little life with dried tubers..."

That one's my favorite poem.

Hi there mayo,

Pleasure to meet you on line for once.

Ahhh, K... blue? lol

Anonymous said...

I hope you're well Mayonaise. So far I have to say I love this poem better than the others. This one definitely sounds more optimistic. Keep your chin up ans stay positive, if possible.

I knew that imitation spread was not you. That much is obvious.

You interrupted my flow, man, I was posting a story. You were in it. ^_^

Do you mind if I post them here? Do you mind if I write them? BlogBelieve is yours after all, so I want to make sure it's all right if I go on.

AN ODE

It hardly seems,
Five weeks since I met you.
I had heard of you,
From others.
You had quite the reputation.
Some accused you,
Of being too gregarious,
Of never being happy,
Unless you were,
The central character.
But as soon as I met you,
I knew it didn’t matter.
You were unlike anything,
I had experienced before.
As soon as you touched my lips,
I knew I was yours.
I needed to you,
More than I ever,
Thought I would.
You were so cool,
Some would say icy.
Messing with their heads,
And causing them pain.
But you never were to me.
I took every chance to have you,
Even going out of my way,
Just to see you.
But I knew it had to end.
One last tryst,
The morning I had to go.
And I was left,
Bereft.
Ten short days,
Were all we had.
But I wouldn’t trade them,
For the world.
I know you’ll never come to my town,
It’s too small to pique your interest.
I tried others,
But none of them were you.
I long for the day,
I can join you again,
I know you’ll still be there.
So this is for you,
My Starbucks Frappaccino,
My love.

Anonymous said...

Ergo, that's one of my favorite poems. Nice, and yet, funny at the same time. And it's a starbucks one :)

Kapu - Writing jokes and writing an engaging story are two completely different things.

No, of course. But some writers have a spark and some don't. Sure, it takes practice to be able to write an engaging storyline (again, I make no such claims,) but I totally believe that the ability to write well is inborn. Some people just don't have it. You can tell. THere are those people you know were born with a grasp on language, with an aptitude. And others who reach adulthood unable to match noun and verb tense.

And I just think you have it, you know? Which doesn't mean "drop everything and write!" Just "don't sell yourself short."

Anonymous said...

Squeak squeak, I agree. Mayo is just fine the way he is.

Movin to the country,
Gonna eat me a lot of peaches
Movin to the country,
Gonna eat a lot of peaches
Movin to the country,
Gonna eat a lot of peaches

Peaches come from a can,
They were put there by a man
In a factory downtown
If I had my little way,
Id eat peaches every day
Sun-soakin bulges in the shade

Take a little naps where the roots all twist
Squished a rotten peach in my fist
And dreamed about you, woman,
I poked my finger down inside
Make a little room for it to hide
Natures candy in my hand or can or a pie

Millions of peaches, peaches for me
Millions of peaches, peaches for free

Look out!

Well you suck, cause you know I aint nothin but a user
Of your love I cant get enough
Girl its true, the whole wide world is smiling with you

Push the little daisies and make em come up [4x]

Sometimes I know, and sometimes Im on the go
But Im comin back, so dont give me no flack, yeah
Its all you, and its me too
And its your world, yous the girl, yous the girl
Happier than shit, things that might go click with me
Click with you, is that love? is that love, ohhh...

Push the little daisies and make em come up [8x]

Watch the little daisies grow, little daisies grow
Now just push th little daisies and make em come up
Watch them grow, watch them grow
As I push the little daisies and make em come up
Make em come up, make em come up,
Make em come up, say

Okay, well since Mayo's left for the night I will repost the sections of the story. I'm signing in so that I can erase them in case I make a mistake. ^_^ Two parts, ad they are long. If you want to read it and look at the pictures, hit my blog. For just words, I can put them here.

Mayo, thank you for being gracious about this.

DISCLAIMER: I can't very well write about you if I don't know what to write. So if you want more than a mention, you have to tell me. The better I know you, the more I can say about you. This story is a joke, a lark, something I'm doing for fun. I'd like to include as many people as possible but there are so many of us. I am bound to overlook people, details, names and things like that. Please don't get mad. My attention span is total crap and I'm terrible with names to begin with. If I dont' write much about you it's because I don't know enough to write. If you'd like to see yourself more, you have to post in my blog, okay?

More importantly, this is clearly fiction. If you would rather be left out of this--and this goes for Mayo and SS, too--please DO NOT HESITATE to tell me. There will be no awkwardness about it and no hard feelings, all right?

This story's not going anywhere rude or libelous, though, I promise you.

The Mysterious, Medieval, Phallic Tower Series -
Part one: Wordslingers

It is tempting to believe that everything mysterious and dark is actually safe: that your imagination is indeed your worst enemy. That there is no such thing as ghosts, or wolves that prowl and howl in the night. That words are just sounds, that magic doesn't live in them. This notion, however, is foolish, and so knows anyone who has been through the forest of BlogBelieve.

The walk through it isn't long, but is filled with rustles and snaps, peripheral motion and shadow. And once you are through it and you come to the water, you know that wolves lurk.

This is the path I walk daily to this abandoned mansion . It belongs to a man whose name we don't know; we just call him Mayo. He's not often in his mansion, spending most of his time in his terrible, likely haunted tower , a great phallic symbol that overlooks the rest of BlogBelieve. Damn, we don't even know if he's got an elevator in there so like, does he really climb all those stairs? Jesus.

He is up there now, doing whatever the hell he does up there all day. (Plan world domination? Write poetry? Knit? Watch movies?) So his otherwise abandoned castle is open to the public and has regular visitors, and one can find them in the many different rooms and corners.

Right now, I'm going to look into those rooms and corners and see if I can find some of these strange beings, these inhabitants of BlogBelieve--the people that Mayo calls "The Lovelies"--but soon you will see that there is much more to them than mere loveliness (and sometimes not even that.)

Oh, have I introduced myself? Your narrator and guide through this adventure is just a plain, awkwardly featured 30-something with badly colored black and red hair, and a crow named Havoc. Are you sure you want to follow me further into BlogBelieve?

If so, then walk with me first to the kitchen. The massive doors creak as I push them open and I hear a voice saying, "Check me out, bitches!" Sitting atop the stone counter with a victory medallion hung around her neck is the beautiful Fimble Star. (There are currently no bitches to check her out, but hey. It's BlogBelieve.) Everytime I lay eyes on her I am filled with an ancient clarity:

She is an absolute ho-bag.

Also a powerful ally, and we get on splendidly. This girl, she eats tea.

"What are you doing, Sea Strumpet?" she asks me. She reaches out and hands a bit of bread to Havoc, who snaps it greedily from her fingers.

"Walking around, looking for grub," I answer, opening Mayo's ice box. (This guy doesn't even have a fridge, he has a frigging ice box. I ask you. And it was empty until we put things like ice cream and stuff in it.) "You seen Splash today?"

"What, Mustard?" she asks. "Not today, dirty bird. Not seen Bean, either." (Bean is another of our lovely friends, also known as LucyLu.)

"Damn," I mutter, taking a pint of ice cream out. (There is no such thing as calories in BlogBelieve.) "So. You wanna go explore the basement?"

"Iye," Fimble answers, leaping down from the countertop.

We make our way through the castle, through dust particles in the sparse light, parting cobwebs. We've only been here just over four months and it looks as if the castle has been abandoned well before then. Idly I wonder how long Mayo has been in his tower. Idly, I wonder why he went there in the first place. Eventually we come to the cellar door and we both stop up short.

"What the hell?" I wonder aloud.

From beyond the door Fimble and I both hear what can only be described as a ruckus, with music in the background. Clattering and banging and the occasional yell of what sounds like frustration, but could also be consternation, exuberance, confusion, or that surprised feeling you get when you're on line at the store and the guy behind you just grabbed your ass, but then you look behind you and there is no guy, just some ninety-seven year old women with a bunch of cat food.

Fimble and I shrug--it's only BlogBelieve, after all--and open the door. We descend the stairs into the cellar.

Before reaching the bottom of the stairs we can both hear sultry horns played to the tune of "The Stripper," so neither of us is surprised to see Miss Tottenham down there, struggling with what at first looks to be a sarcophagus or some kind. Which is freaking ridiculous, I mean, why (and pretty much how) would she have a sarcophagus in Mayo's cellar?

"Hello," she says as she sees us, momentarily ceasing her struggling. She lowers her ambient soundtrack so that we can better converse. "I see you've just been admiring my sarcophagus. "

"I wasn't sure if that was what it was," Fimble says, "or if you were just happy to see us, dirty bird."

"I've just come back from Egypt," Miss Tottenham says, "and I picked this up. I thought it might spice up the decor a bit."

"Well, it's..." I begin. "It's just..."

"It's smashing," Fimble Star says. "Just smashing, my Sheffy Wag."

Miss Tottenham smiles brightly.

"We're rounding up some Lovelies for a chat," Fimble says. "Shall we go see who's on the porch?"

"Absolutely," Miss Tottenham agrees.

We leave the cellar and the sarcophagus (and I have to admit, it does add a certain ambiance that was missing before. I wonder if Mayo has missed the feminine touch in the castle. Some flowers, a nice throw, a sarcophagus, that kind of thing.)

Before we reach the porch we pass the elaborate staircase , and sitting on the bottom step, with her iPod, it seems, permenantly attached to her ears, is Mustardisbetter - hereafter to be referred to as Splash. It occurs to me as I look at her that there is some significance to that iPod of hers, to her love of it. Her seeming dependence upon it. I'm not sure yet what it is.

She waves and shuts down the iPod, but doesn't remove the buds from her ears. "HEY GUYS! WHAT'S GOING ON?"

The three of us cringe, but we're getting used to it. Splash has to yell because even when her iPod is off, Ray Toro is always shredding in the speakers in her mind.

"NOT MUCH!" I shout back to her. "WE'RE JUST LOOKING FOR SOME MISCHIEF AT THE MOMENT."

"WE WERE ON OUR WAY TO THE PORCH," Fimble Star says. "JUST TO SEE WHO'S AROUND AT THE MO."

"SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN," Splash replies.

And together the four of us make our way to the porch .

Not surprisingly, sitting together on the porch swing are two sisters: the adorable Sdock10 , otherwise known as Sollydock, and the Princess Smoke and Venom20 . The swing rocks gently and they sit in amiable non-silence.

"So then I said, 'Did some rock star just bury himself alive in my teetahs?'" Sollydock says. "When I found out there was a video of it I didn't know whether to laugh or be really, really proud of myself."

"Fast cars and rock stars," the Princess says, adjusting her tiara on top of her fabulous hair. "That's what it's all about." She turns to greet us. "Hey, Kapunua, Fim, MissT. HI, MUSTARD."

"HI PRINCESS, SOLLYDOCK," Splash replies.

Toujours , having been wandering the grounds, walks up the steps of the porch, a sketchbook clutched under one arm. "What do you guys think?" she asks. "Will Mayo come down from the tower tonight?"

No one answers immediately. Instead, all sets of eyes are drawn to the tower looming in the distance, rising suggestively above a cluster of bare trees in the vague dusk. We all carefully watch the window of Mayo's tower , so baroque it's nigh on obscene. The curtains part slowly, and through them, firelight flickers. The silhouette of the host of the castle appears between the parted curtains, backlit. He is motionless for a full minute, then he slowly pulls the curtains closed again.

We all release the collective breath we were holding.

"It's like he knows when we're talking about him," Sollydock says.

"That was a bit of excitement," I add. "MY PANCE. I SHEET ZEM. Seriously, I voided my bowels just now."

Splash, only having heard my shouted words, laughs. "HEY GUYS, THAT WAS MAYO," she shouts over the sound of Ray Toro's guitar in her head. I hug her, just 'cause I can.

"He's going to come down tonight," Fimble says. "We should get in a room and wait up for him. Yes?"

"Yes," most of us agree.

"WE SHOULD WAIT UP FOR HIM," Splash says.

Miss Tottenham gives Splash a cup of tea. I have no idea where the hell she got it. It's BlogBelieve.

"We should straighten up," I suggest. "Or perhaps liven things up. Maybe we can start the party earlier if we go now."

Sollydock and Toujours sigh. For, as most of us can get into Mayo's crowded castle, they can never seem to stay inside when there are too many people in there.

"He'll open the doors tonight, Solly," the princess tells her sister. "He will. And you'll get your corner back."

Back inside, we cross the front hall and make our collective way into the library . When I tell you that I'm surprised to see Elena in there, her face buried in a book, a smirk across her lips, I'm outright lying to you. She is always in the library just so. She doesn't even bother to snap the book shut in pretend guilt, either. The cover of it reads Flirting With Death - Wet Dreams May Come.

"Interesting read you got there," Miss Tottenham says.

"Oh, Mayo's library is wonderful!" Elena gushes. "He's got just about everything here."

Amyranth and Jennicula are both in here, too, studying books slightly less questionable (but only slightly.)

"We're thinking that Mayo might come down tonight, you lot," Fimble Star says. "So we are going to wait in the main ball room until he shows up. If he shows up."

"El oh el, 'ballroom,'" I say.

Jennicula turns to me. "Did you just actually say 'el oh el'?"

"Err..." I stammer.

"You need to get out more."

Part two

Back in the ballroom (el oh el,) there is already a crowd of murmuring BlogBelievers. The room is lit by flickering torches in sconces along the stone walls. They make movement out of nothing and matter where there is none. The shadows are confusing; we think that's the way Mayo likes it.

There are some there that I don't know, some that I do, and others I recognize right away. The witty and lovely Capture This Void, Anima, Entropy (she's snogging a DJ--hey! I know that guy!) LucyLu who is also known as Bean (and who has the uncanny and, allow me to add, utterly disconcerting ability to read minds,) Resurrected Wreck (in her own corner sewing a costume, doubtless for tonight's party,) Star (with a wand that has a star on the end--I've yet to witness the power of said wand,) Sister Midnight (boots tonight: thigh high and spiked, Katherine Dreier, Carrie, Ergoproxy, Shame In Me, PJ's In Blue, Paperheartxx (a mistress of Hug Fu,) Pixie, and one of the very few males in BlogBelieve, Bikey. There are many others, somewhere up to around forty people in this hall, maybe more.

There are Anons as well, and this makes me a little nervous. There are always Anons, and they lurk in the shadows. Under the stairs; behind the columns; in unlit corners; behind curtains. Some of them are nice. Some are helpful. But many aren't, and as these beings are faceless, we can never tell which until it is too late.

People congregate in groups, and this is no surprise. We've known each other for four months; we were bound to feel closer to some than to others. Their voices are quiet: everyone is waiting. Once in a while an Anon will shout something. Sometimes it's nice, but most of the time it is a rude word. Other times, an Anon will whisper something random, and most of the Lovelies will turn in the direction of the voice.

Havoc, my crow, can't take this nonsense and buggers off to find some shiny thing to play with. The tension is so thick I almost follow his lead. Also, it's late; most of us are ready for bed. I vaguely consider going to my personal place in the castle. (I sleep in the greenhouse. Mayo is never around to water his plants, and I can't let them die.)

The air thrums with our nerves. It is always like this every third day, worse on the forth. Will tonight be the night that our host brings it all crashing down? Will he end it? Will he close the doors to the castle forever?

I won't, because I need you.

Just a whisper from an Anon; another vague phrase from a tenebrous corner. But it's already got the attention of a few revelers.

"Who do you need?"

"Do you have a name?"

"Are you a regular here?"

"Do you mean us harm?"

"Could you be the Ragdolly Riddler?"

"The Ragdolly Riddler?"

"The Ragdolly Riddler?"

"Or are you Mayo?"

"You could be Mayo."

A few of us converge around the Anon, but she--or he?--disappears back into the dancing shadows.

One person looks up to the balcony.

"Mayo."

The front doors swing open and the porch revelers come back into the warmth. Sollydock takes her corner, looking up at the dark figure on the balcony. The Princess, all radiant smile and gleaming tiara, waits with her.

We hold our breath. Will he be happy tonight? Or sad, or angry? Will he end it, or was he the Anon from just a few minutes ago, vowing that he wouldn't? The only thing we know is that he has our attention. He knows it, too.

He speaks, but his words are quiet, difficult to hear the first time around, in a strange order. Foreign somehow, from a place in his own head.

The necessary words seem to escape me when I need them most....

I will continue to challenge myself to sustain thoughtfulness....

The catalyst of confusion started a fire....

I heard you whisper last week....

I have come to terms with the fact that eventually I am going to have to mention it....

P.S. were you guys all just talking about my crotch?

Immediately the questions start, and we throw them at him. Are you well? Are you happy? Do you like us? Have you had a nice day? Can you explain what you meant? Did you seriously just say "crotch" to us?

He answers briefly, politely, as much as he can, for no longer than fifteen minutes. I am well. I am happy. I am frustrated. I do like you. I do not explain myself. Humor is acceptable. Have you seen my apostrophe key?

"Mayo, one more thing!"

"Mayo, we hope you have a good night!"

"Mayo, you never stay long enough!"

And like that... he's gone.

The torches still burn, (not quite so many Anons now; they usually stay away from the host--usually...) the air still buzzes, the Lovelies still murmur. And so it will go for another three or four days. After the initial questions die down ("What did he mean when he said 'the'?' "Did you catch the way he inflected 'am'?" "I liked the repitition of 'yes', it sounded so positive...") a few of us will go to bed. A few more will find themselves on the porch again. A handful more will stay in the main room, searching the corners, looking behind the curtains, sometimes finding an Anon or two. (Sometimes they need a beat-down and a few of us are glad to provide that, too.)

After a day or two, there will be clowns, sheep, aliens, music, acrobats, arguments, orgies, movies, superheros, secrets, heartaches, victories, laughter. And if we are lucky, the Ragdolly Riddler, too.

But until then, we wait. At least until the next frigging chapter.

mayo,

i have a particular weakness for the seasons, and their elements, and the whole raft of symbolism that goes along with them. it's the main theme i've used for years to understand my world and my emotions. the language of the seasons slips into everything i do.

so, believe me when i say -- i like this poem. *grin*

but oh my, you don't think much of autumn, do you? *tsk* it's the best season, mayo, the season in which the magic really happens, right in front of your face.

but, to each their own, i suppose. *shrugs philosophically*

the best part about seasonal imagery is that it lends itself so well to so much. therefore, i wonder, is this poem also the myth story of your past year? and are you now also waiting for things to cycle around again, for spring and spring's renewal? are you feeling somewhat persephone-ish yourself?

and as much as i like your poem, it's the line after it that makes me happiest. those are very good words to see.

good night, mayo. it was good to share some blog time with you again. take care of yourself, yes?

Anonymous said...

homemade pizza, i'm impressed ergo!

good night!

Morning Mayo,

Glad to see you're feeling optimistic. I am also optimistic - of the chances of me hurting someone if I don't leave my sodding job soon.

Mere days after I was gloating to Yoda that we've got internet access all day they've put the kibosh on it, and the pay's not good enough to keep me here if I can't piss around! You never know, I may even end up doing something relevant to the degree I spent 3 years of my life working for...

Have a nice day treacle!

Love,
Kass xx

Anonymous said...

hello again Mayo, not long since you spoke to us!

Well the ark is under construction, but seriously, it is actually pretty bad here. There are 2 more towns flooded and it's been declared a natural disaster area. But typically, one town Giru, which is just a Sugar Mill and some homes, shops and as every aussie town has - a pub, the pub patrons were sitting outside, ankle deep in water drinking while the river basically flowed down the main road, through their homes. The pub was built up a couple of steps so it was dry inside.
That is so Aussie. It's that spirit of She'll be Right Mate, No Worries. And you know they'll all be helping each other out to get back on their feet.

I hope you have friends like that. That can hold you up with good humour when thinks seem to be falling apart (or floating away) around you. Who can come in and help you pick up the pieces and fix yourself up.

So was today good for you, !'m glad you said you feel optimistic, it's a good way to be. I waver. My natural tendency is to worry and be a bit pessimistic, but loved ones around me can help me to see the light and let go, to bring an inner calmness, that it can be ok and if it isn't I'm not alone.

I wish the same for you,SS and for everyone who comes here, regulars and anons alike. Life is always a risk but to calculate the pros and cons and do what you feel is best for you and those around you is the most that can be expected of anyone.

Wishing love, hope, delight and wonder to you and yours
much love

xx

Hello everyone and a good morning/afternoon/evening to you all! How is everyone today? Well and happy, I hope!

A new poem from Mayo. Thank you Mayo! A lovely poem it is! I'm glad to hear you're feeling optimistic. I hope everyone else in blogbelieve is as well!

I don't exactly get a very optimistic vibe from this poem though. I'm with Lewis on that one. Hmmm.....

One of my favorite Spring poems has always been:

The Enkindled Spring
D.H. Lawrence (1916)

This spring as it comes bursts up in bonfires green,
Wild puffing of emerald trees, and flame-filled bushes,
Thorn-blossom lifting in wreaths of smoke between
Where the wood fumes up and the watery, flickering rushes.

I am amazed at this spring, this conflagration
Of green fires lit on the soil of the earth, this blaze
Of growing, and sparks that puff in wild gyration,
Faces of people streaming across my gaze.

And I, what fountain of fire am I among
This leaping combustion of spring? My spirit is tossed
About like a shadow buffeted in the throng
Of flames, a shadow that’s gone astray, and is lost.

^also not very optimistic; but still beautiful and passionate.

I see I missed me Pixie love again.
Pixie: good luck finding a new place!!!!!

Did we get any news of OP L's surgery? Well, I'm off to hunt through yesterday's comments at the last blog in search of some.

Have a wonderful Wednesday everyone!

I interrupt your regularly scheduled blogbelieve posts for some important music news:

*drum roll please*
===========
Roadrunner Records are thrilled to announce the signing of Chicago alt rockers KILL HANNAH.

Easily described as the bridge between The Killers, The Cure, Fall Out Boy and My Chemical Romance, their sound is at once familiar and refreshingly original, showing undeniable growth by taking chances in a world where most art is being played safe.

Despite having no TV or radio play in the UK yet, the band have already headlined and sold out up to 1000 capacity venues on their recent tours here. You might also have caught them last year at the Give It A Name festival, or more recently as main support for the sold out UK tour with Finnish sensation HIM.

Kill Hannah will return to the UK as main support to Aiden.

Poems is it Mayo?
I was always better at songs....

Untitled by cupcake

I'd have said goodbye, a thousand times
Kicked that bucket, fallen

I could've honestly said that in the dirt, I wouldn't miss the sunshine.

But some body loves me
Some body needs me, somehow
I will never understand it
Still...
Some people love me
undeserving as I can be...
They need me,
so I stay, I stay

I'd have let it go, been the selfish brat, I am at heart

I can tell you now I cant count the times I've thought of that

BUT

some body loves me
Some body needs me, somehow
I will never understand it
Still...
Some people love me
undeserving as I can be...
They need me,
so I stay, I stay

And in time, I'll be back and I'll be 'fine'

I have those moments where all I need is a smile

Sometimes I see the grace and beauty...
More each day I am certain that I have to be..
here...

Because,

some body loves me
Some body needs me, somehow
I will never understand it
Still...
Some people love me
undeserving as I can be...
They need me,
so I stay, I stay

Filled with contradictions, I'll never give them up, you can try your best to understand, well FUCK!
I wish you luck with that..

I'll stand here fighting

I'll stand here smiling

I'll stand here fighting

I'll stand here smiling

SOOOOO.... there you have it, s spur of the moment song from cupcake. I think I'll put it on my blog.
I love the songs I write in a moment. Shitty but honest.

I hope it isn't lost in the crowd

I hope you all got to read it.

I just wanted to let you all know I'll try to keep posting on my blog every day or so, just so you know how I am.
I'm just not up to talking.

But don't get me wrong, I'm coping ok.
Grief is hard, devastating, but as with all things, I'll pull through in time.
Even though it feels like the pain will never end, I know it has to.

Good morning Cupcake! How are you feeling these days, love?

Ergo: Well, it's good to hear you're MOSTLY dry. A little dampness can be a good thing, sometimes ;-) Although in this case, I don't think it is......

Well, I'm off to try to get some sleep. The sun shall be rising soon and I wouldn't want to burst into flames! :D

Love and hugs to all,

Wendy

Oh & good morning Possum & Yoda (I'm anticipating now) ;-)

Mayo,

How are you? I hope you are doing great. Me? I'm good. Extremely happy to be warm and back in the corner for a little bit this morning. It's pretty chilly outside. I might even have to break out a real coat and not just a hoodie.

I wish I had the time to really dig into your post, but unfortunately I'm running a little low on that right now. Oh, but I will be back. And I'm bring my notebook with me.

Now...I'm longing for warm Georgia sunshine.

Mayo, my wish for you today is that you are always able to feel the sun, the warmth, and the light it brings....new life, new hope, new love, new faith.

Love to YOU Always,
S

p.s. Rub some optimism on my shoulders.

You little devil...Grrrr. ;)

I totally have referred to you as "Spread."

And I'm glad you're feeling optimistic.

I'll go back and read the poem now.

I hope you have a great day! See you around :)

Good morning everyone!

Good morning Mayo,

I did like this poem better, and i am glad the other Mayo was an impostor, i would not want to think, our Mayo was that confused.

It's raining outside, and the wind is supposed to pick up, it's just a day to stay inside and be lazy.

So i guess you are stuck with me for awhile, so pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee.

If you are up.....that is!

Mayo,

I like it.
I'm glad you're feeling opitimistic. I dom't really get that from it but I guess that's more my state of mind than yours.
Take Care!

Hi PJ & Mustard,

The Internet Stasi are off on lunch so I'm free to post again - ahh, little things please little minds!

Since I always say "Hello" to Mr. Mayonaise and I shouldn't leave people out,

Afternoon SS!!

Since you seemed to like Marvin, I've slapped another friendly monster on my blog for your consideration. (Fulham is an English football club, BTW!).

And Cuppy,

Consider your work well and truly plagiarised, mwahahaha!!

Love,
Kass xx

Good morning Mayo,

Sorry I had to drop and run earlier. I constantly ask myself why do I think "I'll just check now", at 6pm my time, knowing full well that people in my house cease to function and demand attention NOW!

So here I am back at a MissT type time just to say...

What the...

Really.

So what you are open to here is your own type of deviant/art site, with particularly no objections to deviant behaviour at all.

You know you are going to have to give us a hint on your birthday month soon, to the nearest quarter if you wish, if you want the full benfits of the d word - party, stories etc...

Your new post, Seasonal Affect(ive disorder), quite frankly, despite the use of the word optimistic at the end, I find this anything but. And what in particular was pasted and saved and why.

Forget the hug earlier.

Hi Kass, Cupcake, 616, S&V20, DG, Mustard, PJ and all inadvertently missed.

616,
Spot on, although I fear the actual event was not as good as the anticipation.
