My foremost priority is to put an end to a certain debate that has been going on inside my head for some time. I am weary from thought, and can barely function from the stress. My torment is unending, and my head is pounding. I have not been able to eat or sleep. I am gaunt, my eyes are hollow, and I look like shit. I have to, at this moment, come to terms with the horror. And a local man has created a spray can like you get with whip cream that has pancake batter in it. Why because it make making pancakes easy.
The pancake batter sounds delicious, but the second piece of news is very ridiculous.

1 cup plain flour
2 eggs
pinch salt
1 cup milk
mix well, stand 1 hr and fry - for big thin pancakes
Pikelets
(smaller thicker)
1 cup milk
1/2 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
1 cup self raising flour
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tbs butter melted
mix all wet, add to dry add butter last
mix well and fry
(these are aussie names but you'll know what it is I'm sure, Plain flour is all purpose flour I think for you it has no raising agents in it)

Sheep in my experience are the dumbest, except of course for shaunette party sheep and sparkle!

Arabella was already starting down the passageway. Her heart missed a beat however when she head his voice
"Thank you, Arabella."
she stood stockstill. though the onslaught of horrifying voices was increasing, all arabella heard ringing in her ears was the sound of lord mayo's voice saying her name.
he knew it was me, she thought. how...?
she gave herself a stern shake. of course mayo said her name, did she not just speak to him? and did he not just state that he heard all his lovelies? he would have recognized her voice, with assurance. arabella chastised herself. this was no time for idle fantasies!
she couldn't stand there in the narrow passage any longer. the castle itself was shaking now with the tremors caused by the evil faceless enemies. arabella had no knowledge of what had caused the secret passageway to close, or to re-open, and she could not chance being trapped. or worse, she thought, nervously reaching out to touch the stones, being crushed.
she scurried down the worn stone steps and into the shadowed space of the cellar. dust was sifting down from overhead, and arabella held up her arm in a vain attempt to keep the grains from clouding her vision. she moved quickly in the direction of the exit, pausing only for the barest moment as she passed the spot where the ghost had appeared. even now, she could sense a frisson of the emanations she associated with the mansion's ghost -- a comforting calm and warm solidity of spirit. even that small remnant of its appearance gave her the courage she needed to continue on her way to safety.
but she was halted in her path by a figure enmerging from the shadows of another pillar.
"you should not go in that direction, arabella."
at first, in her disordered state of mind, she thought it was mayo himself standing before her. then, she recognized the voice as that of redrum, another of the inhabitants of the castle.
"why?" she cried, reaching out and grasping redrum's arm.
"the stairs up to the castle have been blocked by falling debris. i know another way. come with me."
arabella felt redrum's hand covering her own, and allowed herself to be led off in a direction she had never explored. they wended their way between the pillars, ducking the occasional small stone dislodged from the ceiling by the rumbling vibrations of the nameless ones' chaotic attack. she feared for all the people of the castle, and hoped desperately everyone was able to make their escape to safety. the new attack was too fierce to fight.
and then, without warning, redrum released arabella and gave her a gentle push toward a corner shrouded in darkness.
"there is a path there that leads to one of the shelters. hurry! don't linger!"
she whirled to face redrum, but was alone.
"redrum! wait! what about you? you must come with me!"
"don't linger, arabella! i will be safe. now, go!"
she had no choice but to acquiesce, for the building was still trembling as if to shake itself apart. she had to trust that redrum would not be trapped. she said a quick prayer that this be so, and dashed to the pitch dark corner.
there was a narrow opening there, more a wide crack in the foundation than a true doorway. arabella squeezed through the rough angles of the crevice and found herself in a tunnel that smelled of wet earth. she did not hesitate, but picked up her skirts and ran toward the faint glimmer in the distance that was the tunnel's outside entrance, and her escape route to safety.

Before I go on, L wanted me to tell you that she loves you and is thinking about you, and she is hoping that you're well.
So how are you this morning? It's 2am here, cold, rainy, kind of like the other night when I wrote during the storm. No storm tonight, but lots of turmoil in your House earlier.
I told SS that same night that this is what we go through all the time. You guys don't "get" to see it up close. You don't really have a true feel for the venom that the Vultures spew at us.
I hope you'll read today's attack. I hope you'll see what kind of creatures ooze into your House when you're not looking.
Believe it or not, today's barrage was somewhat tame in comparison to others we've withstood. And we do withstand them. We help each other. That's when you find out who your true friends are.
If you want a good example of that, go back to the night of January 21 and see what happened here that night. L and I were ripped by "Anons" on the night that she came in from having major surgery. Because we were too tired to defend ourselves very well at the time, a handful of our true friends, the ones who were here, stepped in and defended us. They were strong, brave, and determined, and they withstood the ugliness for us. Because they knew we couldn't.
This is not a "come save us" comment. We are all perfectly capable of taking care of ourselves under these circumstances. I simply wanted you to know what happens here on an almost-daily basis, one way or another.
I also want you to realize that some of these "Anons", these Vultures, may very well be people we've called Family for five months.
We know that the majority are from BN and/or INO. Those kids are pretty easily identified and sent packing. They don't have a long attention span, their attack angles are repetitious and weak, and the spelling is atrocious.
The attacks on L and me, and the ones on BC, have been mostly articulate, varied, and crueler than the others. Cruel? I should say, sometimes bordering on downright evil. These are a different pack. They're persistent, dogged, personal.
Today they hit SS, too. And you, of course. Can't leave out the Master of the Blog, now, can they?
Consider this a rant if you want. Please, though, go back through the last couple of weeks. Be aware of what's going on.
I'm not asking for you to come in and rescue us. That's not your job.
Just please, for us, watch your back. Consider carefully who you trust. There are a lot of masks in BlogBelieve.

I know you tell us to ignore the Vultures. Turn a deaf ear. Act like they're not there. And we try, really really try, to do that.

That's what we do. We defend ourselves, and we defend each other. True friends come to the rescue when it gets ugly. We do a pretty damn good job of it, too.

Yes, they did do a signing but sadly I couldn't go. I parked my car in the underground carpark at my friend's appartment block and I didn't want to keep her up late so I couldn't stay behind. I did manage to get centre of the stage, only about 3-4 people back and the front of the stage is only about 1½ metres from the crowd so I was really close and just spent an hour and a half staring up at "Jordan from My So-Called Life".
I am self-aware enough to realise that I'm getting so shallow I'm in eminent danger of losing an entire dimension and turning into a cartoon character!

every february a new beginning. isn't that great? and maybe that's the benefit in being a pagan -- not to proselytize, mind you -- but because of it's cyclical world view there's always room to renew oneself.

Regarding GWay, this will probably fly against popular opinion, but I do believe his essential shy, sensitive core character exists.
Much as the sunshades inside annoy us I believe they act as his shield on days that he is feeling more vulnerable and sensitive.
Most shy people I have come across tend to have very expressive eyes. It is easier for them to be more forthcoming in social situations when people can't read their eyes when hidden behind glasses. They feel protected and grow in confidence.
Personally I think despite all his talk he is still struggling with insecurity issues, and maybe somedays he just can't figure out why people are so interested in him. He can't answer that question, he doesn't want people seeking it out of him. He can observe or avoid eye contact without being noticed, he creates his own cell of security in shades.
The recent interviews seem to reflect his struggle. The quite frankly, derogatory one seems to be the onstage showman answering. Maybe it was a lack of confidence day, so he adopted the character and shot off at the mouth. The other more gentle replied interview seems to be the more natural, having a good strong day GW. No additives required.
GW is still more complex than the 'moan for me' guy presented to us up on stage. He just needs to remember to not become the stage one, 24/7, to deal with real life issues and friends or he will never become his own true person and find happiness.
And then he won't hurt his friends >_<
