Happy Endings.

Shame Folded Neatly

The closet was dark, and the air stale.
I waited until I could no longer hear
the breathing, and cracked open the door.
It took several seconds for my eyes to begin
to adjust to the light; I had been hidden
for several hours, most of the night.
And each breath you withhold, while still
sat across the room, arms crossed, and waiting
is released into the center of the room. I hear you
now your image becomes shadow, then curved line,
then hair, cheeks, eyes, lips, and my racing heart
is released into the center of the room. I hear you
I am fully admitted and betrayed
by the vibrations of that persistent organ
pounding in my ears and of that accidental welcome.
You alight beside me
relieving me of my guard, and returning
my promise of faith.

I thought I had waited long enough, but instead you held fast to your claim that I would emerge faithfully back into the room. And of course, I did. Not yet ready to face our lost time. And the screaming, long since dulled against the cold green plaster walls now cracked by our words thrown hard, aimed at heads and hearts, but missing. In the center of this room all that remains is heated breath and pounding heart. And the two of us are searching our thoughts, and desperately trying to string together enough words to reconnect.

p.s. sometimes in the moment we are unable to see the forest for the trees.

"Yes, I do." so now, back to that question...

Shame in me, that's why I believed they really didn't give a damn. They only pretended to care and make me look crazy. I just lost a family member, and yet, they were bitching about the stupid stuff about Gerard.

Ergo, is it still raining overthere? Wow O_o

"Anon, what's funny is that you believe I'm "delusional" but what if I was right all along?

No one has ever thought of that potential outcome. What if I was right? What would you do if you found out I was right? Would you think if I was crazy then?"

I rest my case.

And now all we can do is hope that you will grow up, get help. When you realize you are not right you will probably target some one else. Delusions dont just go away. Mental sickness doesn't just go away. I URGE you to get help. too bad your 'friends' don't see it.

As a birthday treat I was taken to Paris for lunch on Saturday.

It is a beautiful city and I must go back there for a weekend.

I sat outside a cafe on the Champs-Elysees and watched the chic world go by whilst having a drink.

We went to the George V (featured in the movie French Kiss with Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan-such a cute film and also very expensive). They treated us very nicely and we are thinking of saving up and staying there one night-it will cost at least over £600 per night though and it might take a while to get the money. It would be a fabulous experience though.

We spent most of the day walking around, especially the side streets. It must be wonderful to live there.

Birthdays are always bitter sweet affairs nowadays with both parents dead. During the night of my birthday I dreamt of my mother-I had not done this for approx 2 years. It was very nice but felt empty when I woke up. But can honestly say I had a great time.

PH, good luck with your exams/results.

Miss T and Bikey-please come back-that test ride is going on forever.

Hi there RW. I'm guessing the company who printed the calender made a printing error lol

Anonymous said...

Goodnight and sweet dreams pixie.
Villa, I was disappointed. It turns out that he wasn't naked under the flag after all :(

resurrected wreck said...

I'll say they did, BC! But seeing as it's an "unofficial" calender, maybe the pic is of one of the printers - who knows!

If my "admire" you mean "would hit that eight ways to Sunday" then I'm right there with you.

But honestly I do admire him a great deal. I think he's a fantastic actor, not to mention a huge voice for animal rights. How come no one jumps all over him when he speaks up? 'Cause he's a celebrity, and hot? Hmm.

Hey, I am starting to own at RE4. I killed many zombies and have got all my typewriters I am too cool for school, people.

I'll probably write a bit for a while.

A hot guy with long hair? That must be the dude who goes by the name of Luis. He used to be a cop, but now, those zombies, and some bigwig of the village are trying to find him because he has something that they want to steal from him. You won't know more about it until much later in the game. He should have told you some stuff about Ashley, the chick you have to rescue. Right now you should be at a place that looks kinda like the mountains, or something like that.

We've been waiting eight years for Strange Fate to come out, but it was delayed due to a serious family situation. According to the site, she is working on Strange Fate as of now. And the publishers are already reprinting some of her earlier books, such as the Vampire Diaries. Volume one is already out in stores and volume two just came out last month I believe.

They are also going to reprint the Secret Circle books and it's going to be released this fall.

I wish they reprint the Forbidden Game series. Julian is simply gorgeous :)

My friend says this is really hot.

That's the Haka. ^_^ It is hot when men do the Haka, but not quite so hot when you know what the words mean. O_o They're like, "YAY, I'm alive! And looking at the hairy legs of the man who saved me!" I kid you not.

elena while you're there don't forget to remove the dust jackets of any "out of place' books like "Quantum Physics" they may be hiding something!

Wendy it was a great party!
Such a shame you missed it

Wendy, me too! I'm glad I can talk to you here again. I hope to be back soon. It's getting cold and I need to shower before the temps plunge O_O

Try not to bite anything in the shower ;-)

I'll try, Anan616, not promising anything, mind...

Okay Ergo, give me all the details please ;-)

And who was the party for? I need to know who to wish a HAPPY whatever to :D

Enjoy your warm shower BC!

the Haka is amazing if you are right there in front of it.
But we do have some crude jokes from it, and for the Aust vs NZ Rugby test last year they had an ad where they changed the words, it was funny.
Actually saw it performed 2 days ago when these young guys rowed a kayak across the Tasman and reached NZ, Love it with all the traditional maori face decoration.

I didn't see those but next to the "Kitty" series is another series called "The Doggie" series. They are illustrated. All I can say is I hope the dog costume got dry cleaned.

Haka
Here are the words and a translation of the haka performed by the New Zealand All Blacks before matches, as well as a short blurb on what its all about.

Ka mate Ka mate
It is death It is death

Ka ora Ka ora
It is life It is life

Ka mate Ka mate
It is death It is death

Ka ora Ka ora
It is life It is life

Tenei Te Tangata Puhuruhuru
This is the hairy man

Nana i tiki mai whakawhiti te ra
Who caused the sun to shine again for me

Upane Upane
Up the ladder Up the ladder

Upane Kaupane
Up to the top

Whiti te ra
The sun shines!

The haka is a war dance. The words are chanted loudly (shouted) in a menacing way accompanied by arm actions and foot stamping. A haka was traditionally performed before charging into battle.
The Maori pronunciation is basically one vowel per syllable, with the vowels having the European rather than English sound. The `wh' is aspirated almost like an `f' (f is good enough for most people).

As for what it all means, about 140 years ago, a particularly notorious warlike chief named Te Rauparaha of the Ngati Toa tribe (based just North of present day Wellington), was being chased by his enemies. He hid in a kumara pit (the local sweet potato, only much better) and waited in the dark for his pursuers to find him. He heard sounds above and thought he was done for when the top of the pit was opened up and sunshine flooded in. He was blinded and struggled to see those about to slay him, when his sight cleared and he instead saw the hairy legs of the local chief (reputed to have been exceptionally hirsute) who had hid him. Te Rauparaha is said to have jumped from the pit and performed this haka on the spot, so happy was he to have escaped. Undoubtedly, he also had in his mind to do a little pursuing of his own --- Te Rauparaha being that way inclined was he.

Just for the mere fact that I am practically comatose, I will say a generic "HELLO ALL!"

Five hours of Toddler Hell this morning. Oh my cow. It IS like trying to herd cats. They either all go in one direction, singlemindedly like lemmings, or they separate and go in three different directions at once. Each of them moving very fast, with no regard for personal, or others', safety.

At one point all three of them were around my legs, trying to reach my sister, who was down the hallway cleaning the changing-table pad with diluted spray bleach. They can't be around the bleach, of course, so I had to try to distract them while she cleaned. One of her assessors was like 2 feet from me, just grinning at me. One child was trying to get around me, one was trying to go through me, and the third was trying to go in front of me. I just started laughing. It sounded sort of maniacal, I have to say.

L told me what went on earlier with that anon and BC. What ever happened?

hello J

lol toddler wrangling is a noble profession, and they never stop!
I'm sure in their little minds they are programmed to persist until they wear you down!

Have you seen the Toddler Rules? It's like a list that goes:

1, if it's mine it's mine
2. if it's yours it's mine
3 if i had it it's mine
4 if i see it it's mine

and ends with

..if it's broken, it's yours

Six! CTV! Hey guys! I've missed both of you. Well, I owe you both an email, but I hope you'll forgive me for being lazy on the job. :)

Six, I'm feeling better than I did last week. My sugars are more in line, and the hiatus in the poolhouse was great. L has an appt with the surgeon tomorrow to find out when her surgery is, so we'll let you know tomorrow PM, probably.

Speaking of L, she made her famous pancakes tonight for dinner. Oh man, these are the best things in the world. The recipe is very simple, but they are so fluffy, and they taste incredible! They're my new comfort food, replacing macaroni and cheese at the top of the list.

YAAAAAAAAHH!

Fimble, I salute you. You're a braver man than I am.

ELENA! I saw SS's blogpage! YOU'RE GHOSTBUSTER FAMOUS! See, honey, he does hear you. We all do. Loud and clear.
