This is late, and I've already done the damage to people I found very dear. I fucked up royally and there's no way I can fix it, but I need to let everyone know.
AIP and The Masked Anon are not the same person. AIP is not Mayo. The Masked Anon is also not Mayo.
Neither one of them is SS either.
AIP is kind, funny, and intelligent. The Masked Anon is witty and charming. Together they make a sort of cool super-hero team. I had fun watching their conversations and talking to them.
Nasty Anons had attacked both of them and I didn't stand up for them. I should have. Don't ask why I didn't. I don't have a good enough reason to put out there. There isn't one.

I can tell you it was a really horrible experience with anons coming in every direction and I couldn't tell who was who. Mayo, do you ever have something happen or be in a situation where you are reminded that you are no longer the child, but you are a completely fucking grown up ass human being?? And it's like in that moment, you look at yourself and you think..how the fuck and when the fuck did this happen? I don't feel grown up...I don't feel responsible...I don't feel accomplished...I don't feel stable and grounded....but you look in the mirror and you see the changes...the little grey hairs...the wrinkles...the light in your eyes has lost a bit of the sparkle. You find yourself searching for the last 15 fucking years of your life and have no freaking clue how you got here or where the hell you need to go. You hear a child's laugh, you look in their eyes, you hold a baby in your arms......you're hopeful, you smile, you're amazed. You see life in its purest, most honest and real form. And you know that you are no longer the future, not old enough to be part of the past, you are just part of the right fucking now. And you know what you must do...you walk away from the mirror, you put on your grown up work clothes, and you know that you hold in your hands a responsibility that is almost to great to bear....ALMOST.

I can't say one way or the other if I believe that some of us would post some rotten shit about other family members, because I don't know for sure. What I DO know is that these anon commenters are lurking not only here, but our own blogs, as well. And then they take whatever info they read, and do their fucking best to use it against the people who said it in the first place.
Yes, we're all aware it's the interwebz, and that not everybody out there is nice (or sane). But these anons KNOW what we talk about, and then use it against us. If it's just a random anon, how do they know what strings to pull?

well Mayo it was an unusual day, some were feeling less than their normal happy selves and some were not about at all.
The anonymous posters have been making their presence felt and though among them there is the occasional shining star most seem hell bent on causing as much hurt as they can.
One wonders why the attacks that used to be quite general are now seemingly picking targets.
It's a shame the blog has been so much quieter since this began happening.
I know you see us as gathering for coffee but it's like random passers by feel the need to pick it up and try to sling it in our faces.
Maybe this time of year can bring out the worst in people as well as the best.
I am hoping that your life is treating you well, that you are hale and happy and amongst those you love.
There is always a place for you here, you have been so kind to provide us this place and not get upset by all of us gathering here and partaking of your hospitality.
It is, after all, your blog.I don't know if other bloggers have this experience.
Well the sun is beginning to set here, I can smell my dinner cooking and I feel I ahve so many things I still have to do. In a few hours my family will be together and this blog family will be starting to wake up and come back together as well.
It is less than a week until christmas. I hope you have been getting your shopping done and your home decorated.

How are ya? Totally awesome, I hope. Me? Can't you tell? I'm almost wide awake. I've already had my cereal and my shot of caffeine...what more does a girl need to get her day going? Well that was a little dumb to ask that question because I found myself stopping to dwell on that for a second. Tricky, tricky. My day should be an uneventful one and that sounds just fine by me. I am hoping to get some presents wrapped tonight, but we'll see.
I am still loving what you wrote for us. I have probably read it at least 20 times already just because it paints a perfect picture of what this place is, what this place means, and who this place holds. And knowing that you see it the same way we do makes it even more special. Thank you. I'm sure sometimes I offer you more than a taste of what my life is like. I'm not trying to make you choke on it. I swear. It's just that sometimes I think you need something to chew on. I hope you're hungry for it.

I can do a Tana Ramsey Sausage, Bean & Cabbage:
Ingredients:
2 tbsp Olive oil
2 medium diced onions
1 garlic clove, chopped
6 pork sausages, chopped into chunks
55g chorizo sausage, chopped into chunks
55g Pancetta, cubed
4 baby leeks, finely sliced
235g canned butter beans, drained
1.5 litres vegetable stock
8 medium flat mushrooms, sliced
2 sprigs fresh thyme
1 Savoy cabbage
Method
1. Gently heat the olive oil in a deep pan. Add the onions and garlic, fry until softened.
2. Add the sausages and gently brown.
3. Put in the chorizo and turn the heat up slightly so that it sweats off some of the oil. Add the pancetta and leeks and stir to combine.
4. Add the butter beans, stock, mushrooms and thyme. Bring it to the boil, turn down and simmer for approximately 20 minutes.
5. Meanwhile shred and core the cabbage, blanch in hot water and refresh, before adding to the casserole.
6. Simmer for 5 minutes before serving
You could serve it with potatoes, I guess....
