Not so far away so close exhausted.

Too many fresh graves, pushed up daisies, and tired beat up conversations. Distracted by the past? I thought you were beyond that…move on already. I appreciate that some of you are refraining from that condemning tone…I find your restraint to be revolutionary. Let’s attend to more important details...now, where am I again?

Why start my own when I can so easily intrude on those already started?

To be honest, I never know what to speak of without prompting. I’m similar to a trained bird in that way. That is why I observe so often.

Anonymous said...

Star, you're having problems with the page reloading? It could explain why the comments are not appearing as quickly as before. I am having that problem as well.

Anonymous said...

I suppose that is true, interested party. But you are more than welcome to join in the conversation whenever you like to.

Anonymous said...

BC, I just cleared out my History and emptied my cache, hoping that will help.
Maybe we're breaking the blog!

Anonymous said...

If "whoever you are" would post more often, we wouldn't suffer so.

That was indeed a humorous bit, nothing serious.

It does pose the question though...

What would "whoever you are" do if no one commented?
or
What would "whoever you are" do if there were so many comments, it brought down the page?

I'm even starting to annoy myself.

Anonymous said...

Star, we probably are breaking it! ha ha

Anonymous said...

AIP, I wondered about that before!
I hope Whomever It Is doesn't get too overwhelmed or annoyed when he sees a 1374 post count

Claudia V said...

I think I just got an idea.
I'm not saying it's a good one, or a decnt thanggg or anything.
I've already blubbered and cried my eyes out today so lets start making sense.

I think Mayo's using our 'names' in all his titles... Let me take a look for a sec.

Anonymous said...

It's starting to look like that BC!
I'll try to buy their next cd and a bell will ring and I'll be told "NO, NO CD FOR YOU! YOU BROKE THE BLOG!"

Claudia V said...

Oh you know what?
Fuck that I'm just not making any sense.
As per usual.

Anonymous said...

Ah, do not worry Star. The previous blog had over 1500 comments :) The dam will shatter soon enough I suppose.

Hey Silence,how are you doing?

Claudia V said...

Okay, thanks.

Anonymous said...

Silence, it is nice to hear from you again. How are you holding up?
Star, that would be hilarious :D

Anonymous said...

No, Silence, I saw your point. One poster's name is farawaysoclose, so yeah, your idea made sense!

Idea didn't work out?
I thought it was a good one, would have been interesting.

Hello silence how are you?

Anonymous said...

Or 1375, or 1376...

As I’ve stated numerous times, the identity of the author makes no difference to me. It could be a 14 year old girl from… say…China. I simply enjoyed the writing and wanted to read more. That being my opinion, it’s easy for me to assume that “whoever you are” enjoys the attention. The more, the… longer load time. *shrugs* It would be a treat if “whoever you are” would answer just one thing without a cryptic spin (I personally can spin the hell out of words, they’re the same in the end.) What would be a good question?

Hmmm…

“Whoever you are” - Did you have a good day?

There, identity is safe… a reply could be in single word form… still won’t matter. “Whoever you are” won’t answer. Makes me wonder…

Anonymous said...

AIP, "whoever you are" tends to develop the habit of not replying to our questions, but that person does pay attention to what we have to discuss. I suppose that is how they are.

Claudia V said...

I just burst out laughing.

First of all, hi everyone! ^__^
((Silence, how are you? Jonesin' for Martha -- it ROCKS!))

Kapunua: Wouldn't it be funny if we were somehow related? ^_~ Thanks for sharing your story - we seem to have more than a liking for MCR in common. Some call it psychic, I call it 'that uh oh feeling'. :)

I'd like to think that maybe G-Way tried to walk the walk, but didn't know how. Nobody said it's easy, and stumbling is to be expected! But dammit, the song really got to me, and some of us live it every day. Like RW said, maybe he'll get there eventually.

New anon's, a lot of us have been here since the beginning. We are NOT a clique. Anybody is welcome to comment & share opinions, as long as they don't attack anybody personally. We're teenagers, Gen X'ers, baby boomers; married, single & in between; we're from every city & continent that's heard of MCR. If you're testing the waters here, you'll be safe -- come on in and join the fun.

More spooky stories tomorrow, guys?
Today was almost as fun as yesterday! Co-captain wants more, more, MORE stories!!!

*yawn* Time to cuddle up with my kitty-love and pillow, have a good night all! :)

Nothing to lose is a path you can choose and it feels just right at the time.
Then one day you awake with a fear you can't shake,
you're an actor forgetting your lines.
You were a star when you started,
so bright eyed and ready but now you just can't seem to shine.
Nothing to lose is a path that you choose and it feels just right at the time.

But can you still remember your very first kiss
or the future you hoped for when we were still kids?
Stay young, stay young.
There are constants like gravity, heartbreak and shame,
you can never out-run them,
they're part of your name like lessons you learn from a past you can't change,
stay young, stay young for a lifetime of paying dues and ruthless reviews,
yeah it's hard not to end up a cynic
when everyone's too scared to walk in your shoes
but can work up the nerve to be critics.

Oh, can you still remember your very first kiss
or the future you hoped for when we were still kids?
Stay young, stay young - no, don't lose you heart.
Don't lose your soul. Don't give up control.
It's the business end of a loaded gun, facing tomorrows of black,
useless lungs with nothing but lies left on tips of our tongues,
stay young, stay young! Oh can you still remember your very first kiss
or the future you hoped for when we were still kids
trying to keep up our innocence in this fucked up world?
Stay young, stay young, stay young...

a fitting song
the hoosiers - goodbye mr a

There's a hole in your logic
You who know all the answers
You can sigh and say magic
And expect me to buy it

And Goodbye Mr A
You promised you would love us
But you knew too much
Goodbye Mr A
You had all the answer
But no human touch
If life is subtraction
Your number is up
Your love is a fraction
It's not any more

So busy showing me where i'm wrong
You forgot to switch your feelings on
Oh-Oh-Oh
So so superior, your not
You love a little bit but you forgot

Goodby Mr A
You promised you would love us
But you knew too much
Goodbye Mr A
You had all the answers
But no human touch
If life is subtraction
Your number is up
Your love is a fraction
It's not any more

(Goodbye Mr A)

Goodbye Mr A
The world was full of wonder till you opened my eyes
Goodbye Mr A
(Goodbye Mr A)
Wish you hadn't blown my mind and spoiled the suprise
Goodbye Mr A
You promised you would love us but you knew to much
Goodbye Mr A
You had all the answers
But no human touch
If life is subtraction
Your number is up
Your love is a fraction
It's not any more

I actually wonder if any of these mystery bloggers know each other's identity, like 100% for sure.

I don't think they do. If Frank asked Gerard if this was his blog, would he admit it? Probably not. It's possible that Frank would still have a gut feeling Gerard would be lying though due to some of the things Mayo might say in his blogs that only someone close to the band (like Frank in this case) would pick up on.

Likewise, Mayo may not know for sure if SS is Frank. SS tends to keep a lower profile. We have no way of knowing if Mayo got to see SS's blogs before he freaked and deleted them.

Neither Mayo or SS probably know Love Man's true identity either. SS posted a comment on Love Man's blog back sometime in August saying he had his suspicions as to who Love Man was. Funny thing is, SS never commented again after that. It makes me think he discovered he was wrong about who he thought Love Man was and decided they weren't worth his time, he never returned or posted again after that.

Yet SS keeps returning to Mayo's blog. Assuming they are who we think they are, why would he do that? Maybe he is convinced Mayo is Gerard even if Gerard told Frank he wasn't Mayo. Perhaps he picked up on something Mayo said in his blogs that proves he is Gerard.

Now I don't want to get into a massive debate, I am not anybody important but I do know 100% that someone VERY close to the band wrote the anon letter on INO. I was looking at the anon post yesterday that turned out to be from SS, the one that mentioned hanging on to our faith in the band and it always being darkest before dawn and I compared it to the INO letter. Enlightening.

I'm not a gullible person but I do believe these people are who we think they are. The thing that pushed me over the edge and convinced me was when I compared SS's blogs and his recent anon comments with the anon INO letter and s//c messages, even down to the tiny details where Frank makes exactly the same comment of 'it won't happen again' when SS had posted that the PREVIOUS day. I also know things about the INO letter that make me absolutely positive about this and I am sorry I can't share them with you, believe me I would love to tell you what I know and how I know it as it would explain so much but it would cause more harm than good. I think someone here is in a similar situation where they know Mayo is Gerard but can't explain how they know.

I am not a gullible person and this whole Mayo/SS thing was bothering me. I sat down and made a list of all the reasons why I think SS is Frank, because in my mind, that kind of proves Mayo is Gerard. (I was impressed with mayo's comment about TBP being dead before he actually said it on stage as well.)

It was actually a pretty long list of reasons, if anyone is interested I will gladly share, but I know I am rambling now, so I will stop. I only post this comment because I have seen that you do not bitch at people for expressing their views. I do believe that one day the truth will be revealed as to who these bloggers are.

ATTENTION BLEEDING CHAOS AND KAPUNUA:

I read your observations from last night regarding Loveman's identity, most specifically that of his/her gender. You both stated quite adamantly that Loveman is a woman. Let me redirect your attention to a comment posted by Shitsubou Shita on Mayonaise's blog from September 16. SS's comment was posted on the 17th:

...Love Man is aware that I deliberately made a point to refuse ice, I asked him if he had noticed I wasnt the only one. You know better than most. He would always laugh when I asked him to dance.

Now, if you go back to Loveman's blog post of August 26, you will see a comment posted by SS on the 30th stating, basically, that SS figured out the night before who Loveman was.

The later SS comment clearly refers to Loveman as "he" and "him".

So...if Shitsubou Shita is who we all believe him to be, and is the honest, up-front person we give him credit for being, wouldn't you think that he has the inside track on Loveman's identity?

SS knows Loveman is a MAN.

My question to both of you, Bleeding Chaos and Kapunua, is:

That is an interesting point you make about SS and Love Man, and you could be right.

But as I said in my comment, I think SS may have got it wrong. I think he suspected the wrong person, he only ever said 'if my suspicions are correct'.

Then he said

...Love Man is aware that I deliberately made a point to refuse ice, I asked him if he had noticed I wasnt the only one. You know better than most. He would always laugh when I asked him to dance.

There is definitely something important about 'ice' that only those involved would understand. His comments don't really prove anything either way. It's not like Frank would go and randomly yell as someone without having any proof. I think the ice thing was like a test to see if it was who he suspected or maybe letting him know he was on to him. He may not have figured he was blaming the wrong person for days. But the very fact that SS never commented to Love Man again tells me he had tackled the wrong person and his suspicions were wrong. That would explain why SS still visits this blog but completely ignores and never visits Love Man's.

Anonymous said...

Interesting theories you guys have going on. Allow me to present my theory.

My theory is that when SS says they asked Love Man if they had noticed he wasn't the only one who made a point to refuse ice, he meant that he asked him that indirectly via his blog, not in person. Love Man did not approve his comment. Who knows why SS would refer to Love Man as 'he', unless the person he suspected was male? People jump to wrong conclusions all the time. Frank Iero is not perfect.

elena said...

Maybe not perfect but I'd say damn close.

Anonymous said...

You guys...Mayo is not going to like it that you are theorizing on Loveman in this blog. You should discuss this elsewhere.

....just sayin

TELL 'EM MAYO!!!

...Love Man is aware that I deliberately made a point to refuse ice, I asked him if he had noticed I wasnt the only one. You know better than most. He would always laugh when I asked him to dance.

I remember a blog a while back before she deleted it,where a blogger said this statement above.
Some kids on INO thought it was Brian's(manager)girlfriend-CJ

She did work on some tour and she talked about drinking and possibly drugs

elena said...

If Mayo has something to say I'm sure he's a big enough boy to say it himself.

Anonymous said...

Ok, but he's not going to be happy.
Consider yourselves warned.

Anonymous said...

Anon above, I'm confused as to what yr saying. Do you mean SS suspected it was CJ or that he only referred to Love Man as a he because of the name, cos it would sound wierd if he called love man a her?

Anonymous said...

It seems both Mayo and SS share the same opinion about Love Man. Both do not consider this person worthy of their time.

i know gerard is in england with MSI i was just wondering if mayo was?? i was having a doubting the identity of mayo moment!
mayo commented at 10pm and 10.07pm last night but that would've been 4am and 4.07am here in england, which is entirely possible but thats pretty late. may be he couldn't sleep??

farawaysoclose said...

i'd like to see your why you think SS is frank list.
thanks.
and are you the same anon as the one at 11.17am??

farawaysoclose said...

oh yes elena i agree with that!!

Smoke said...

I don't give a rip who Love Man is at this point. What gives that person the right to start all this shit and then try to make out like it's just soooo stupid for people to be commenting. Whatever.

Since SS has not offered to fly me up to the show on Saturday, (I'm still waiting) I guess I'll just have to stay in Georgia and have a grits sandwich for breakfast. Hmmmm, you know South Georgia folks ain't all rednecks and banjo pickers, Shitsubou. We like all kinds. Whether it be punk, rock, metal, rap, rock-rap, pop-punk, etc, etc, etc. Please, please, please? There is always The Tabernacle in Atlanta!

Admit it, you know you like Georgia peaches!

OMG, I am so sorry Mayo! I forgot to address you first! This is your blog and all. Alright, basically all I want to say to you for the moment is don't be so scared to join in here. I think it's kind of cool that you are starting to come around to us. If you notice, which I'm sure you have, we are all in some way just like you. No one here is above anyone else, and doesn't try to be. We all find a connection to each other in some way. I even feel connected to you somehow. I know I don't know you personally but I can understand your mysterious nature. How you are constantly changing things or misleading people just so they never get close to the real you. It's funny how the very things that I despise the most about other people (lies, secrets, selfishness, etc) are some of the main aspects of my own personality. Sometimes I would rather be a complete bitch to someone just so they never find out that I actually do care. On the other hand, I can relate to SS because I know what it's like to be completely devoted to someone only to have them spit in my face. Yet I still feel like I am just as committed now as I ever was.

Twisted and a little dysfunctional? I'd say so. Princesses are fabulous but they're not perfect.

Anyhooo.....

Hi everyone!

Hugs and Kisses,

An Unusually Honest and Sincere
Smoke&Venom20

You know there is just something really annoying about an anonymous person warning us that Mayo will be unhappy. Sort of sounds like "You all be good and only say what he wants to hear of you'll be in trouble". Well nanny nanny boo boo. This blog is full of people who care, really care about Gerard. That is why we take the time to come here. We don't come here to suck up there are lot's of places to go to do that and not to be unkind but if that's the only thing Mayo is looking for I'm sure he wouldn't have to look far. If things are said that make Mayo unhappy they aren't said to hurt but to try to help.

sdock10 said...

Princess Smoke&Venom20,

Welcome back..you have made the blog fabulous again and reminded us all why we are here. I can relate because I was in the same kind of mood yesterday...feeling more emotional than usual.

We have missed you so much...don't thank for a second that we haven't felt your absence.

Mayo, Be a good host and welcome back the princess...I know you have been curious as to her whereabouts.

Love to you!

p.s. Grits sandwiches are extra fabulous especially when served to you by the pimp of the nation.

Even if it really was him, he is an anon so none of us can prove it, no big shakes.

Co-Captain Smoke&Venom20, it's great to see you. *hugz* Can't say we have a lot of grits up here, but we do have really good beer. ^_~

Must be something in the air, Sdock10, because I'm quite 'weebly' today myself. (I don't remember who coined the term 'weebly', but obviously I love it!) Don't know why, but woke up extra-mushy this morning, and that doesn't happen often. I guess the cynical world-weary smartass is taking the day off.

Mayo, since we've taken over your blog we've been watching for you to join us. You must know by now that you're the reason we all came here in the first place -- simply put, we care about you, and now we care about each other, as well. What we've found here is pretty fucking special, and you're already a large part of it. SS is near & dear to our hearts, too.

No matter how great or shitty any particular day is, each and every one of us looks forward to wandering over here to catch up on the day's events. We have a few laughs, a few tears, the occasional moment or two of anger, and a whole lot of sharing our most personal dreams & fears. If you can't find any connection with us in everything we say, then you would be one cold fuck indeed. But I'm pretty sure you're not -- in fact, I'm pretty sure that you're someone who is damn special to a whole lot of people, for a whole lot of reasons.

If it's a hug you need, we're willing to give it to you. If it's a (metaphorical) ass-kicking you're looking for, we can supply it. We may not be close to you, but always remember that we're here if you need us.

Good day to all that includes mayo.

On the subject of what we can and can't talk about, i think most thinks are fine but I have notice that when certain people are brought up. we get anonymous message asking not to talk about that subject. So i think that discussions about certain people should be discussed on http://discussmayo.blogspot.com/.

This is not me saying you have to do that but mayo did say

Too many fresh graves, pushed up daisies, and tired beat up conversations. Distracted by the past? I thought you were beyond that…move on already.

Martha I realize that you are quoting Mayo but here's the thing. We got the blog about breaking the dishes, which to me was dealing with the past. That is something that has to be done. No one can run from the past cause it always catches up. If something comes up that pertains to the past then it needs to be addressed. I can't be one of those people who just blindly goes along with rose colored glasses only seeing happy things. No, I don't think rehashing the past constantly is good but sometimes that has to happen until it's resolved. If Mayo gets pissed about that then I'm sorry. But I would hate to keep silent about something in fear of pissing him off. I care about his well being too much to do that. Regarding Loveman I have no idea what's going on so I offer no opinion. Perhaps I'm just being cranky cause I don't want to feel like I'm only supposed to say happy, agreeable things or I'll be banished. That's not me, can't do it. Probably cause of my age. I'm way too old to play that game.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Elena I understand I don't think we should only talk about the happy things to. I think that we should talk about the past because if you don't you will repeat it. I just get the feeling that someone doesn't want to relive fresh wounds everyday. With the traffic that comes through here you know it would be nonstop talking about it. That's why I suggested the the other blog to have the discussion.

JocelynHolly said...

Haha thanks Lonely One=]

Martha, I totally agree with not wanting to deal with it constantly. I respect that. My point is I just didn't like anon making it sound like there are things I shouldn't say. I say whats in my heart. Sometimes it's good, sometimes not but it always comes from a pure place. And with that I must go sell some books. Hopefully I'll talk to all of you later. Oh and Mayo, look and listen to all of the love we have for you. Some people go through their whole lives not having anyone care about them. You are a very lucky man.

ha all this talk of personal grooming reminds me of that interview where Frank totally ratted out Gerard. You know the one, where he told the interviewer the story about the time Gerard cut his balls after he had the 'genius' idea to shave his balls to get rid of the 'reeky' cos apparently Gerard figured it was the hair that was keeping all the sweat in...eeewww!!!! TMI Frank..TMI...that boy just can't help himself can he? I also love how he giggled all the way through telling that story and kept saying
'oh man, I'm gonna get in so much trouble' but still tells the story anyway and then goes on to spill about Mikey's gross long toenails that are like talons!

Smoke said...

You know what would be fun? To be able to see pictures of everyone and then try to guess who they are. Do you guys have a picture in your head of what everyone looks like? I can just see Mayo. Sitting there on a bus or a plane....with his shades on and smiling on the inside. Oh and I'm sure he's popping his gum. I can just hear SS giggle. He's got the cutest giggle. Sdock10, I bet you are sitting there holding your pitchfork with your viper gated tail wrapped around you. Heh-heh, yeah, I went there. Truth be known, you are sitting in your very own courtroom, handing down sentences. BC, something tells me you have your hair in a ponytail with a ribbon tied in it kind of like....Gidget. Sis Midnite, I picture you with kind of rocked out hair and of course, boooooots!

See how fun this is?

Wow! I wholly agree, Ms.T!

Has anyone ever read Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark by Alvin Schwartz? They're banned in most school libraries. They still haunt me, and I'm 18 years old.
