Yeah...I'm very sensitive to haunted places and such. There is a place in my city called Devil's Punchbowl. It's up on the Hamilton mountain and there's a giant glowing cross up there. Apparantly a lot of people have killed themselves there. My friend wanted to go there a few years ago at night. I didn't want to but I did anyway. Right away I felt really bad vibes. It may sound silly but I felt death all around me. My friend Rob said he felt the same thing. We both walked back to the car because we couldn't stand to be by the edge of the mountain anymore. On the way to the car I know I saw something black brush past the car door. To this day I still think ghosts were around us.

I guess to round my stories off to 3, I should mention that I THINK* my boyfriend's old house had ghosts. One day I was talking to a mutual friend of ours and he mentioned that he kept seeing black swooshes move across my boyfriend's bedroom and thought that maybe he was having some eye sight issues. I was shocked because I had seen those black swooshes too. I don't know what they were but it's pretty weird.
All I know is, I'm not moving into ANY place where someone died. That's just asking for something to happen! lol
I'm not moving in a house that may be haunted either! What if I'm home alone, and the ghost decides to do something really scary.. like tickle my toes with a feather?
hahaha! Usually ghosts are fairly harmless but you never know when you'll get a prickly one.

Hi everybody. Boobs, moobs, and back to ghosts. What a day!
Since were back to ghosts - my in-laws house is haunted by the previous owners. When I sleep in the guest bedroom, I always wake up around 2 am. There always seems to be a presence that had just been standing by the door watching me. You know the feeling of being watched. My son always mentions hearing people talking downstairs even though we're all asleep. I DON'T like staying the night there. Nothing maliciious, just freaky.

Hi Entropy. The funny thing is that my hubby and his parents totally don't believe in the supernatural. They're very scientific thinkers. But even he doesn't like sleeping in that room. He says he doesn't sleep well in there but he's not sure why.

It really isn't scary. John was an old man who was suffering before his death. Sometimes we go for weeks without hearing from him. Then we'll hear him walking up and down the stairs or opening and shutting doors. Once when we were remodeling part of the house (it's an old farmhouse) John started pushing things off shelves and making a mess until I stood in the center of the room and explained what we were doing. It seemed to make him happy once he understood we wern't destroying the house just remodeling. I probably looked pretty stupid talking to the air in the center of the room but John heard.
I think he probably appriciated the explanation.

I too googled "1037 BC" I came up with a wikipedia entry that stated that King David was born that year, they said, "He is traditionally depicted as a righteous king—although not without fault—as well as an acclaimed warrior, musician and poet."
I believe that this describes Gerard and you Mayo (if you are the same person then I suppose that is a good thing.)
