Not so far away so close exhausted.

Too many fresh graves, pushed up daisies, and tired beat up conversations. Distracted by the past? I thought you were beyond that…move on already. I appreciate that some of you are refraining from that condemning tone…I find your restraint to be revolutionary. Let’s attend to more important details...now, where am I again?

I'm looking at MCR macros and the website called: www.icanhazcheezburger.com.

Hilariousness ensues.

We could talk about Bob. And his awesome drum skills. Or, you know. There's always Toro ;)

Anonymous said...

Exactly, jennicula, but I cannot help but think that maybe Lyn-Z will end up like the hairdresser. I actually feel pity for her. Can you believe it? Sorry, Mayo, but I have to speak the truth, whether or not you want to hear the past.

Jennicula said...

mmmm Toro!

. If it isn't meant to be, it just isn't.

Nothing is "meant to be." Falling in love is like falling down a ladder, where every rung is another year you're getting older and the bottom is your fear of dying alone. Whoever is at the bottom of the ladder when you reach it, well, that's "the one." For most people, anyway.

Hey, don't steal that, it's a great line and I'm putting it in all my stories and my movie. ^_^

It is also true in most cases.

There was something else we could talk about, but dammit, I forgot.

personally, i don't like to talk about others' relationships. there are so many ways for people to fall in love, come together and fall apart.

if you don't mind, here's a brief of my case:
met my first boyfriend at college, freshman year. we were talking marriage one week later. after i graduated, we moved out here together. lived together until we finally got married, ten years into our relationship. (lol procrastinators)
everyone, including us, figured we were fated lovebirds, old-fashioned throwbacks, etc. etc.
divorced last year, after 19 years total.
no real reason.

tmi? maybe, but my point is -- each of you has a completely different story. and no one understands our stories better than ourselves.
relationships are hellishly complicated, even when they work. i won't even begin to try to figure out someone else's.

urgh.
soapbox, much?
i'm sorry about that! not trying to scold or anything, just putting out my position on the night's topic.

I agree, noone can predict how things will progress, sometimes it lasts sometimes it doesn't.
It definately is more about friendship and the willingness to work together with and for each other than about love b
but sometimes those things just aren't enough.
Noone can judge except those involved, but sometimes people outside see things the ones inside miss.
A very close friend divorced after 19 yrs married, his idea. He now is awkwardly with a 21 yo and she is in another country with her first real love fom decades before.
Would it have worked out for them initially - who knows.

Well, kapunua. I first got into mcr about a couple of years ago, through a couple of my neices who had asked me if I heard of a band called My Chemical Romance. They got me to download Helena, and basically, the rest is history. They were not like any singer or bands I had listen to at the time. They were different.
They appealed to me in a way that no other band did.

Anonymous said...

So star, are you planning on attending the show? Maybe you can try purchasing the tickets at Ebay. That site has almost everything :)

kapunua - saw clip for I'm Not Okay and loved it, had no idea who band was, missed the name and had to try and find out !!
Ended up my cousin went and saw their first sideshows when they toured with Greenday, and I realised it was the same band.

Maybe you've found a way to reign in the past, but keep your eyes open: it has a strange tendency to creep up & bite you in the ass when you're least expecting it. You've lived through it and you've learned from it - no regrets, right?

House, House, gotta go see House!

Ironically, at one point, MCR introduced me to The Used, but I stopped listening to them all together for some reason. I prefer to listen to bands that appeal to me instead of relying on MTV and other mainstream circuits that focus too much on trendy bands and not on others.

I got into them because a boy I taught gave me Three Cheers the day after it came out. He said since I liked the Misfits and The Smiths, I'd love them. He was right.
I saw the Helena video and realized that I sort of knew them. Gerard and Mikey worked at the Barnes and Noble that I go to in Clifton, NJ. I totally remember the cute kid with the glasses in the music section who was always friendly.
I remember a really hot guy with gorgeous eyes at the cash registers, and I would spaz if I had to go to him to pay.

Interpreting The Master:

“Too many fresh graves, pushed up daisies, and tired beat up conversations. Distracted by the past? I thought you were beyond that…move on already.”
The author bores from the constant reopening of half-healed wounds. I feel they want us to speak of newer issues or concerns and end the ‘beating a dead horse’…. could be wrong.

“I appreciate that some of you are refraining from that condemning tone…I find your restraint to be revolutionary.”
No one likes to be lectured or reprimanded. The author seems to seek a friend, not an authority figure. Support and not judge… a few comments reflect that and it is appreciated. Could still be wrong.

“Let’s attend to more important details...now, where am I again?”
Speak of something that might interest the author, they tire of the repeated banter. Also, I believe they are in an unfamiliar place… mentally. Thoughts, emotions and the physical are rarely all in the same place at the same time. Either that, or… he’s simply lost. Could be wrong, again.

“p.s. 1037 BC”
Let’s cut to the point, shall we? I’m probably just wrong anyway…

The best part is- there is no way to tell. I shall forever wonder.

Hi everyone. Hello Mayonaise.

I must admit that I have been disinterested in reading this blog or contributing any comments for a while now. Between Mayo's continued coyness and the repeated coverage of those same old topics, I just haven't felt like participating. Know what I mean?

Then there's the rediculous number of comments. When it gets into the high hundreds I start feeling like there's no point anymore. It gets harder and harder to sift through it all. My little remarks would just get lost in the circus.

Anyway, I'm not sure why I felt differently tonight. Maybe because Mayo's most recent post addresses some of the feelings I've had recently about blogland.

Mayo, I think you and I are on the same page this time. But instead of asking where you are, it might be more pertinent to ask yourself where you want to be. Are you there yet?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Anyone still here?

Anonymous said...

Good night Ergorproxy, Star. Take care guys. Interested party, thank you for your insight. As for you Mayo,

“I appreciate that some of you are refraining from that condemning tone…I find your restraint to be revolutionary.”

Mayonaise, I am not sure where to begin, but I have to admit, sometimes it is much difficult not to use that condemning tone of voice on yourself. I believe maybe sometimes you may need it. We are aware that you do not appreciate overbearing, but sometimes you can act so childlike yourself that you may have the desire to prove to anyone that what you do is right and what they have to say about it is wrong. Sometimes you appear to lack much judgement. Are you entirely aware of that? We are. As much as we Aries desire our independence and strong will, sometimes you have to have someone to watch out for you, to make sure that you do not injure yourself in whichever path you are taking. They want you to be well and happy. I am not sure if you are on that path as of yet. It appears that you may be lost.

You may be feeling scared, confused, we are not entirely sure. But it does help to open up to someone; whether it is us, or a stranger, does not matter. I admit, the abrupt tone of voice in your current blog has me suspicious still. A smile on your face does not immediately prove that you are feeling okay. Not all of us are blinded, dear one.

You desire a friend to listen to what you have to say without being judged? You have us. Although sometimes it is difficult not to judge your decisions. Maybe you need to give more thought as to what you want to do.

Ask yourself, what do you really want out of life? Remember, even with the fame, the marriage, the fans, you can still become the most loneliest person in the world. You cannot love anyone without loving yourself first.

I suppose you are not at that level yet. I do not think you are. You can always come to us when you need someone to discuss or make conversation. We will still be here. Also, that P.S. does not have anything to do with me does it? ;)

The first time I heard it, I was on my way to get a blood test done. I'm not good with bloodwork to begin with, so I actually got really faint in the car because I let the song get to me...

is this real?

Entropy said...

Hm,I honestly don't remember how I found out about blood. But I was told about it so that lost its surprise.
But I really love that song, for a bit,it was my favorite,I think it's hilarious.I'm glad they decided to throw that in there.

elena said...

Blood reminded my of Monty Python for some reason.

Anonymous said...

i wonder why the song is called 'kill all your friends'

?

Martha Smith-Jones said...

What would be even better They do a long video with The End, Dead and blood all made into one video.

Anonymous said...

Yes, I have Martha. That is why I ran out from you guys earlier. I could not miss SVU ;)

toujours said...

lol, poor amyranth! i could see that though -- nothing like someone singing "blood, blood..." ad infinitum when that's the last thing you want to think about!

i get a python vibe from it too. ;D

hey -- did the font change for everyone, or is it just my computer acting weird?
suddenly it's huge.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous, that buzznet account is entirely fake.

Martha Smith-Jones said...

I'm watching SVU right now.

Entropy said...

No font change here.

SVU is on right now?

1037 BC was the year if the dragon.
Just so you know.
It's almost like this was appealing to many of us,
who have suffered the deaths of loved ones in waves this year.

Distracted by the past... you mean 1037 BC as not the past.. or can one infer too much on too little?

It might have something to do with the problem some of us have been having with this site. the last time I got the error message it posted the comment I made four times.

Heading off to bed, but I wanted to stop in & say good night to y'all. Crazy-ass day, wasn't it!?

BTW, thanks for the new blog, Mayo.
Now I can say, "(Maybe one of) MCR saved my eyesight!" ^_~

Someone (entropy? elena? ergoproxy? sorry, I'm tired & couldn't scroll thru all the comments to save my own life right now) asked when the next kickball game is. Co-captain is thinkin' Friday, if there's still room in the blog by then!

Hi Andrea! Hi MarthaJones, BC, and any other 'Nocturnal Kids' out there! Save us some room for morning!! :)

((And g'nite!))

Martha Smith-Jones said...

Goodnight sister midnight.

Entropy said...

You're probably off but goodnight Sitster! Sleep well.

sally said...

Hi all,

I hope I didn't cause a commotion earlier. To BC, I'm sorry for any offence *hugz*.

I just flipped over the alleged fake lindsey site, and found these two posts that are interesting.

Congratulations. Lindsey has a headache. Your prize?

JESUS JIMMY LOVES YOU!
No, he seriously finds the current situation hilarious.

What's the annoyed face you guys use?
-_-

Yeah that's it.

Well yet again, people have come to me criticizing our lyrics, and I HAVE to say...

GetthefuckoveritbecauseI'msickofretaliating.

I don't know why it's taking so long for you to get this, but you need to start LAUGHING.
That's what this world needs -- laughter.

But I guess we won't be hearing that, now will we.

Seriously?
Have a problem with us?
TELL JIMMY.
He'll take care of you

and

I need to get off the computer. I do!

They say it makes me seem fake.

You don't know why I did that journal obviously, and you don't need to.
Someone asked me to adress the issue, and she told me the things she did in confidence.
I will not break my promise to keep my mouth shut.

Now if that makes me fake, great. Peachy.

I'm not concerned about what you think.

(A side note, I might leave Buzznet. Not in an "admitting defeat" way. It's actually stressful as hell.)

Hey entrophy,

I don't know what to make of the fake Lindz site, she certainly is getting
attention.

And I am still not sure about this post by Mayo, he is certainly trying to convince us there's a turn in the road. But I know when things do change it goes at snail's pace.

Anonymous said...

Anyone on?

elena said...

I'm still here

And I absolutely believe that that was the reason behind the rushed marriage, and not love at first sight or any other such ridiculousness.

There are those of us that believe in love at first sight, but we're still waiting for our frigging engagement rings! Haha!

elena said...

Okay so I'm alone again. No biggie. Well then I'll just talk to myself. Something about Mayo's newest blog is bothering me. I keep reading it and well, it's off. You know not quite right? Almost like it was written by someone else. Now of course maybe he's just one of those people who is moody and this was just a different mood. Hell maybe he's bi-polar. I dunno. Shit, maybe someone pissed in his corn flakes this morning and set the tone for the day. I don't know. Hey, maybe I should ask myself why do I care? No, I've already covered that one. I do care so that's why this is nagging at me. To be quiet honest I would love to believe that all is well in Wayland. That he's happily married and birds are chirping outside his window. But once again for some damn reason I don't think that's the case. They say ignorance is bliss and I'm pretty damn ignorant sometimes so why am I not blissful? Crap, it's after 2 in the morning and I'm just stupidly typing away. Sad thing is that I know there isn't a damn thing I can do. Yeah, I can offer my opinion. That and about 5 bucks will get you something tasty at Starbucks. Kind of feel helpless and unneeded. Oh well I've never been one to give up. I'll keep visiting this blog and hoping for the best. Fuck if I know what the best is. Wonder if Mayo knows?

elena said...

(looks embarassed) Sorry thought I was alone.

i finally finished saving the whole puzzle experience -- d'you know we worked on that for six hours! cripes.
i really hope that doesn't lower their estimation of their fans' intelligence any. lol

and now i'm long-overdue for bed, but i wanted to peek back in here and reiterate my first comment on this new entry.

mayo,
i don't know where you are, metaphysically or otherwise, but i really meant what i said about getting outside.
it was gorgeous here for me today. that sharp liquid-gold autumn light, you know? the trees were so bright and impossible to look away from, i almost tripped over my own feet a couple of times!
i'm an artist, too (got the useless degree to prove it lol) so i can say with certainty you know what it does to your spirit to see color like that.
better than any medicine.

so wherever you are, i hope you're able to see some of the season's beauty, and are drinking it in.
stuff like that --
you have to soak in it, you know? let it fill you up.

yum. :)

that's it!
off to bed!

goodnight everyone!
goodnight mayo!

I'm over at the other blog saving our puzzle slolving-ness too.
I'm laughing and smiling alot while doing it. It's funny how off we were at some points and just the beginning where we had no idea.It was litterally right in our face yet, we had no idea, haha.I mean it was told it was in our face, i just didn't think it was that close.
It's great reading all that,seriously best day I've had in a while,funnest.
I'm getting tired so I think I'll do the rest tomorrow.
6 hours?! danm, that's dedication,we really should get another story for it.
I really do hope we get another one, that would be way sweet.

Well,goodnight everyone!
You too Mayo!

Just mainly wanted to say hello to all. Also:
Mayo, I hope you are alright. You don't sound too good. I really am concerned about you right now, honestly, take care of yourself and don't do anything rash. Please.
Love,
BH13

I love the rest of you guys too
