I wanted to write you tonight; it seemed very comforting to think of doing that. Like wearing your favorite pajamas, or eating brownies. It gave me a sense of...completeness, maybe? I don't know if that's the word I want, but it'll do.
If your time lately has been like mine, then you haven't really known what to do with yourself. I've felt like that for about two weeks off and on. Why on Earth, I don't know. Every once in a while it feels as if my 'self' gets thrown off kilter. I hope that makes sense to you; it's a hard thing to describe. Guess you could say I just feel 'off' or 'not on my game' or whatever. Hopefully you're going better than that and are happy and productive and enjoying life.
Had a scary half-hour today when I couldn't find Raindrop anywhere. I looked in every room, in every hiding place he has, and couldn't locate him. He'd hidden from the carpet cleaning guy earlier; I thought he might've gotten outside while the door was open. Called his name over and over, nothing. But see, Rain doesn't respond verbally to his name, never has. So it makes it all the worse when I'm hunting him. Finally he came walking out near the dining room table like "What? What'd I miss?" Thank Heaven he was here, and ok. If he ever did get outside, I'd probably never find him again, b/c of the hiding and the not responding things.
Sorry to 'talk' your eyes out, I got onto a roll. Must come from sitting by myself in the reading corner, *coughhinthintcough*. Ah well, I'm gone for now, off to bed. An early trip to Hell-Mart starts my day tomorrow--lucky me, it's the first day of the tax-free, school-shopping, losing-your-fucking-mind weekend! YAAAAY!!

Though my thoughts are a bit disorganized tonight, I still feel the pull to write a goodnight. And yes, disorganized because I’ve had a few drinks after a very long day. Not that it was a bad day mind you. Actually it wasn’t bad at all. It was full and it was in some ways very rewarding. Still I am overwhelmed with work and all the real life bullshit so I chose to relax and attempt to turn my mind off. Funny but that never really happens. I find when I drink I tend to think more. I honestly wish this wasn’t the case but that’s just how it is. I really so wish at times there was a way to turn my mind off and just go with the flow but I’ve never figured that out. So that said, I find myself sitting here, thinking, reminiscing and trying to make sense of it all. And yeah, I do realize that’s not really going to happen. But it’s okay. At least at times like this I find that I can be more honest with myself and I suppose that in itself is a good thing.
So in the spirit of being honest with myself I posed this question. I asked myself if there was anything I could go back in time and change about my life would I do it? I seriously gave this some thought. But no mater how I tried to come up with various alternate realities (seriously I was thinking of a Choose Your Own Adventure Book here) I couldn’t think of any other way I would want my life to be. Yep, my life is crazy, hectic, drama-filled (for sure) but I know that if I went back and changed anything up to this point then I wouldn’t be at this spot in time. And I truly can’t imagine not having my daughters (they are my life) so there you go. I couldn’t change anything. I wouldn’t.
I guess this means that even though I swear my girls are trying to cause me to have a stroke with their escapades (and believe me each day they think up something new), my mom is driving me insane, my bookstore air conditioner shot craps,….okay the list goes on and on, none of it matters. I wouldn’t change anything in my past because what I have now, fucked up as it is at times, is my life. And I fuckin’ love it. Now if I can just get through it without pulling out my hair I’ll be just fine. Yep, that’s life. My life. Oh and anyone who thinks I’m whiney…I’m betting you don’t have three teenagers, a neurotic mom and a hubby who’s struggling to figure it all out too. If you did you’d totally get this and if not well then all I can say is really don’t try to tell me what you’d do in my place because you aren’t there and you don’t know.
Anyway I need to sleep. So Mayo promise me you’ll take care of yourself, stay true to yourself and never lie to yourself about anything. This probably sounds strange but believe me it will make sense to you in time.

I'm not saying that WYWH isn't perfectly pleasant, but maybe I'm a little inquisitive because things have been so quiet here of late.
WYWH has a hidden statcounter. So it's ok for WYWH to know where everyone is from but not ok for everyone to know where he/she is from? Nobody was asking for an exact address, I think country alone would have been enough to satisfy Elena's curiosity.

I do NOT have a tracker of any kind unless one is there when you set up the blog, which I doubt, and if it is, I sure as hell don't know where to look for any results. The kitchen, dining room, main floor Library, and Ballroom are on the first floor. Dorm Rooms are on the second, and Mayo's on the third.
We have a pool in the back, with a barn containing the sheep and the cow. The Sheep are from the Clon-o-matic 3000, an early experiment gone awry. The sheep are Shaunette and Party Sheep. Baby Sparkle lives with The Original Punks, and I believe Wendy (Anon 616) has a sheep or two as well.
You'll see a large, rather lazy bag of fur and bones with a Lion's mane and a crown meandering about from time to time. That's King Lear and he's my problem.
The barn also has a cow, Creme Fraiche and she needs a milking every few days or so.
