Burning the Manual

I have righted myself before you.
Pulled the knife out of my wound,
And shoved it back in yours.
Like you knew I would.
Like you knew I could.
Before I ever had a name
You knew it was there,
Everything for you
And you know it, and I
Know it still, the same.

TJ, think of the show as "a geek/nerd 'Friends'". The first episode I watched three of the guys were having a heated debate over who Superman's powers. It was priceless. I knew it was my kinda show!

Ergo, maybe one day you can come to the states and we'll get you JP.

Original Punk L said...

Thanks, TJ. That will come in handy.

How was work today?

ergoproxy said...

yeah there are so many things that could get into a country, but people still try to hide things, we can't take fruit and such into western australia either, they have customs beagles(dogs)that walks around the baggage area and sits if you ahve anything prohibited, it is so cute, and you are allowed to pat them, but they are "on duty" so they don't stay, they are such happy little dogs

ergoproxy said...

that's on over here but I don't know which channel, or what time
should find out probably

how are you TJ?

sounds like an interesting show, l.!

back when i was active in the s.c.a., a lot of our events were held across the border in british columbia (it wasn't across the border according to our maps, heh). the first time, we were really careful about all the rules and regulations, and so when we were coming back home, i made sure to let the guard know that we were bringing back a bag of fruit that we had purchased at a grocery store in b.c.

he very dutifully took the bag to have it examined, and returned to tell us very politely that we could take the fruit across the border into the states...

since the bag was clearly marked "product of washington".

*facepalm*

toujours said...

and i'm doing okay, the day wasn't too bad, but the best part is that it's done. *heh*

Original Punk L said...

Aw, little customs beagles.

Ok, this is completely off the subject but...

J. and I were talking earlier, and got started on the Trojan War. So here's a question: What were the Trojans thinking when they brought in that horse without at least, I don't know, shaking it back and forth a little, see if it made noise? You just fought for 10 YEARS with these people who suddenly disappear and leave you this offering. Despite the signifigance of the horse, wouldn't you be a teensy bit cautious?!

ergoproxy said...

I think it would be odd to just go "hey look a gift!" and not be suspicious at all, maybe it had a gift tag saying "does not contain seeds, nuts, dairy, enemy soldiers, may contain traces of soy"

Original Punk L said...

Maybe so, Ergo. "Oh, this one is fine, see the tag!"

I just can't imagine them not giving it the once over, and then dragging it INSIDE the wall, and leaving it unguarded. What did the soilders inside do all that time? What if they had to pee? or sneeze? Did the Trojans think it was the horse?

Original Punk L said...

Oh, TJ. "Product of Washington". Well, you were being a good and let him know you had fruit. Even if it was from your own country.

Have you put the bolts down at work? Is it safe for the fabric?

toujours said...

the fabric is safe....for now.

actually, i just don't care anymore. i'm over my fabric rage. lol

listen, i'm needing some sleep, so i'll talk to you guys later, i hope! have a good night. :)

mayo,

i subscribe to one of those quote-of-the-day things over at twitter, a pagan one to give me a bit of unexpected magic every day.

this morning, it read "if you think you can't, you won't". well, since i had been pretty much awash in "can't" for the last couple of days, this made me roll my eyes and stick my tongue out at my gods in best adolescent fashion.

but then i got online tonight and read that comment i mentioned earlier, and even though it was written from the viewpoint of a different religion, it still rang a little chime within me.

you know, last year i had this fantastic adventure, and i believe part of why it happened is because i handed the reins over to the fates, put myself in my gods' hands.

but you can't be open to being lead, to listening, when you're closed up in that little dark room in your head.

and even though i'm not on an adventure (or if i am, it's the slowest and most routine adventure ever, barring the occasional sudden acceleration and braking during my practices), i still want to open up my hand and have it grasped by my gods, i still want to open up my heart and trust that everything will work out, despite the ugly things i say to myself in my head.

ok, well, that's not easy to believe in right now tonight, but i'm going to work on it.

good night, mayo. i hope your tomorrow has lots of bright laughter in it. the sudden, sparkling kind, the kind that makes a day perfect.

Mayo and SS
a combined goodnight tonight, with a joke for you both...

Maths Test

Paddy wants a job, but the foreman won't hire him until he passes a little math s test.
Here is your first question, the foreman said. "Without using numbers, represent the number 9."
"Without numbers?" Paddy says? "Dat s easy." And proceeds to draw three trees.

"What's this?" the boss asks.
"Have you no brain? Tree and tree plus tree makes 9" says Paddy.

"Fair enough," says the boss. "Here's your second question. Use the same rules, but this time the number is 99."
Paddy stares into space for a while, then picks up the picture that he has just drawn and makes a smudge on each tree.. "Ere ye go."

The boss scratches his head and says, "How on earth do you get that to represent 99?"
"Each of them trees is dirty now. So, it's dirty tree, and dirty tree, plus dirty tree. Dat makes 99."

The boss is getting worried that he's going to actually have to hire Paddy, so he says, "All right, last question. Same rules again, but represent the number 100."
Paddy stares into space some more, then he picks up the picture again and makes a little mark at the base of each tree and says, "Ere ye go. One hundred."

The boss looks at the attempt. "You must be nuts if you think that represents a hundred!"
Paddy leans forward and points to the marks at the base of each tree and whispers, "A little dog came along and pooped by each tree.
So now you got dirty tree and a turd, dirty tree and a turd, and dirty tree and a turd, which makes ONE HUNDRED!"

Paddy is the new supervisor.

Mayo

Good Morning Everyone

It is a beautiful morning here. I walked out on the deck earlier and the sun was just rising. It just made me realize each day we are given a new chance to start over. That is a nice feeling. Thanks to Ergo and L for the hug and the love. Silly but just seeing words like that help. Now I'm off to the park for my walk. I'm back to walking a couple of miles every morning. I'd gotten out of the habit but I'm glad I've started again. Walking is not only good for the body it's good for the mind. Take care everyone.

I remember sitting by the tv with my tape deck to record songs off Countdown (which was the music show we had) or listening to the top 40 countdown and recording songs, cursing if the DJ spoke over the start of it, or before it had ended
I still have some I made, that haven't been eaten by vicious car cassette players, Some I even spliced and rewound to keep them

they were so much fun to put together! and dj's who thought they were being clever were the worst: just play the song!

one of my friends made a mix tape of her favorite monty python sketches, and listening to that cassette in my room was my intorduction to them.

oh! and i just remembered that there were a couple of years there where i was making visits to my grandparents in california. the radio stations there played so much more of the music i liked, and i would make tapes and tapes off of kroq...even as we were driving back home. one of my cassettes is all staticky at the end lol

haha
if you can ever get it I highly recommend "Monty Python Sings" it's a whole lot of their songs, though just a tip, you do need to be careful when playing it, you do not want a 7 yo singing "every sperm is sacred" on her way to school

mayo,

i had some time to wait after work today. normally i just would've goofed off in the shop, but today i went outside and found myself a bit of shade to sit in, perched on a curb.

i was hidden mostly, sitting between a security fence and a huge black suv. a small breeze touched on my face occasionally, enough so that i wasn't uncomfortable, even in the heat.

had my music on, direct into my ears. i just sat and looked at nothing much, listened to my music, and realized it had been a long while since i had spent any time with myself.

i used to be the kid who was her own best friend, out of necessity and out of choice. i even needed a certain amount of time spent in my own company in order to "recharge my batteries" (as i used to say). i'm not that hermity anymore, but sitting there today, invisible and yet a part of the world around me, i felt a strong sense of reunion.

i was sitting with a dear friend, one i hadn't had time to be with, what with work and schmoozing customers, and recovering from schmoozing, and trying to be a good houseguest, and working on that list of projects that i feel must be done in order to make this intermission in kentucky count for something.

i quickly jotted that all down in my journal (i carry it with me, part of my regular equipment), and saw how it fit with what i was thinking about the other night too. i need to listen, and i need to reinvigorate my sense of self by spending time alone, not hiding from the world, but participating in it outside of any roles.

i don't know if i can do that. i don't know if i will...if i have the will to truly shape my life and follow my heart.

but it felt so good sitting there on that curb, centering without effort, grounding without intent. feeding my spirit by simply being myself.

now if i can just remember it, and get back to it more often.

wish me luck, mayo, and have a good night, and nourishing tomorrow. sweet dreams.

are you well? I hope so. I was lucky enough to find some CD's of an old fave band of mine, reduced, to replace my cassettes. Was listening to them in the car and I still like them, Hoodoo Gurus, I've mentioned them before, but if you haven't ever heard them, look them up, "Like Wow, Wipeout" was a big hit, but I love "Leilani" and "Dig It Up" oh gosh plus heaps of others
Dig It Up - live in NJ

Artist: Hoodoo Gurus
Album: Stoneage Romeos
Lyrics: Dig It Up

My girlfriend lives in the ground.
My friends ask why she´s not around,
She won´t come home.
I´m so alone (you´ll never know!).
You can´t bury love,
You´ve gotta dig it up.
Yeah, you´ve gotta live it up.

I take her flowers each day.
I place them over her grave.
I want her back
Because I look so bad, so bad in black
(Like a maniac)

You can´t bury love,
You´ve gotta dig it up,
Yeah, you´ve gotta live it up.

Please, darling, come home to me.
Well, I´ll make you so happy, you will see!
I´ll paint your room
In pink and blue
(I´ll even choose the colour scheme for you!).
You can't take away my love
I´ll never give it up!
Yeah, I´m gonna dig it up.

(Don´t!)
(Don´t! I Don´t want to know!)

My girlfriend lives in the ground.
My friends, you ask me why she´s six feet down,
I can´t tell you why ´cos if I even try
I´d fall down flat on my face
And I´d cry, "You can´t take away my love!"
I´m gonna dig it up!
I´m gonna live it up, yeah,
I´m never gonna stop
With that loving cup.
Gotta fill it up.

much love EP xx

SS
how's your week been so far? Just because I'm in a Guru mood, this was one song that always made the crowd go off like a frog in a sock
I Want You Back

I Want You Back

Artist: Hoodoo Gurus
Album: Stoneage Romeos

I can still recall the time
She said she was always mine
Then she left (as people do),
And forgets what we´ve been through
(Does this sound familiar to you ?)
It´s not that she´s gone away
It´s the things I hear she has got to say
About me - and about my friends
When we´ve got no defence.

That´s her: I´ll never believe her again.
She might have deceived all my friends
I know they will see in the end
What it all means when she says (yeah!)
I want you back (She says)

But what´s worse: she thinks it´s true
But that´s just her (she always was a little bit confused!)
She´s not worth the time I had to lose.

lotsa love EP xx

Hey Mayo.

Just stopping by to say, "Sup."

Summer's nearly over where I am. Fall is just around the corner and I feel like the Grasshopper who was so unprepared for winter. I'm just not sure where the summer went.

Hope all is well with you and yours.

Adios, amigo.

Good Afternoon, everyone!

Leaving in a few minutes to head off to my parents, it's family reunion time this weekend. Looking forward to seeing some visiting relative as well.

Traveling Kermit made me think of when Ergo took her Ray action figure on vacation and took the pics. Those were great. He had some pretty hairy adventures!

I saw Frank's drawing of the "Devil" lobster! He wields a pretty mean crayon. Elena, I think you're right. We should all hook him up with some crayons and sketch books. That coffee table book of road drawings could be a real hit!

Hello to Stultederky! Nice to see a new face. Come in and claim a room in the castle.

Wish, did you ever pick out your room?

Hey to Jennicula too. Hope you are having a good day.

In honor of not only the reunion this weekend, but my Family here:

Ziggy Marley's "Family Time", L.'s Musical Recommendation For The Day

Ergo (Loved the song links), Elena, (Hope Big E. is ok, bless his little doggie heart), Mya, Wendy, Amy, TJ, B.C., Jennicula, Paperheart, Anima, Martha, Miss T., Stultederky, m., Jade, KOL Anon(s), PJ, Gnothi, Anons, Lurkers and anyone else I missed,

Have a great day and be safe!

Love,
L.

Original Punk L said...

Mayo,

Hope you are having a great day and thinking of when you want to have the reunion party here. Just whenever you get time, no rush.

Just let us know in time to get all our ballgowns ready. It may take half the day to get into those things!

You did get your suit cleaned, didn't you? If you didn't, leave it over the green chair in the living room, and one of us will get it to the cleaners.

Hope you have a great weekend,

Love,
L.

Original Punk L said...

S.S.,

Are you ready for the ball? Got your suit? If it needs cleaned too, just put it on the dark blue chair. Not a problem.

Hope you are doing well and taking care of yourself. What have you been up to lately? Any good books, movies or songs to suggest?

It would be great to have another of your famous story/riddle/scavenger hunts. Keeps us on our toes!

Have a great weekend,

Love,
L.

Original Punk L said...

Also, just letting you guys know that J. probably won't be on tonight, she has really bad pain in her hand and it's calmed, but sore.

But she says "Hi!" and she'll talk to you later on!

^Thank you, L!!! That was great!

Good p.m./a.m. Mayo, SS, L and J, Amy, Elena, Ergo, TJ, Martha, Mya, Stultederky, KOL anon(where are you and your wonderful links?), Wish, Jennicula, various muppets and anons!

How are you all, today? Good, I hope!!!

1:37 ~ KISS' "Heaven's On Fire"! Good choice and nice gesture towards all of us KISS fans celebrating birthdays this month. Thank you.
Paper: I hope you have a wonderful birthday!!! Did you decide on a tattoo yet, love?

L: PinklePurr is precious!!!!!! Oh, I love those little bunny noses! I, also, love "The Big Bang Theory"!!! Those little 'science geeks' can be so darn cute! Thanks for the song today (and everyday you post one)!

Have a safe trip to the parents' place and have a great time at your family reunion!

J: I'm sorry to hear about your hand pain. I hope it gets much, much better soon!!! Try to stay out trouble while L is gone. Well, at least try to NOT get the police involved!

;)

Elena: I hope poor old Big E is doing better today. What was Jake thinking? Was a bone/treat/toy or attention involved?

Amy: Rick Astley? RICK ASTLEY??? Well, you were only 3; so, I suppose it's excusable. Haha, that coming from a woman who had a crush on Spock when she was a kid. Who could resist those ears and eyebrows?! I never missed one of those Star Trek reruns!!!

MissT: Have a great time and stay safe (and comfortable) this weekend!!!

WARNING: A parable is on the way.

I've been feeling a bit nostalgic (again).

Hugs and Love,

Hi PJ!!!

Anon616 said...

Okay, here is that abovementioned parable with some life lessons (including a personal lesson or two or three...):

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Wooden Bowl
A frail old man went to live with his son, daughter-in-law, and four-year old grandson. The old man’s hands trembled, his eyesight was blurred, and his step faltered. The family ate together at the table.
But the elderly grandfather’s shaky hands and failing sight made eating difficult. Peas rolled off his spoon onto the floor. When he grasped the glass, milk spilled on the tablecloth.
The son and daughter~in~law became irritated with the mess. “We must do something about father,” said the son. “I’ve had enough of his spilled milk, noisy eating, and food on the floor”
So the husband and wife set a small table in the corner. There, Grandfather ate alone while the rest of the family enjoyed dinner. Since Grandfather had broken a dish or two, his food was served in a wooden bowl!
When the family glanced in Grandfather’s direction, sometimes he had a tear in his eye as he sat alone. Still, the only words the couple had for him were sharp admonitions when he dropped a fork or spilled food.
The four year old watched it all in silence. One evening before supper, the father noticed his son playing with wood scraps on the floor. He asked the child sweetly, “What are you making?”
Just as sweetly, the boy responded, “Oh, I am making a little bowl for you and Mama to eat your food in when I grow up.” The four-year-old smiled and went back to work.
The words so struck the parents so that they were speechless. Then tears started to stream down their cheeks. Though no word was spoken, both knew what must be done.
That evening the husband took Grandfather’s hand and gently led him back to the family table. For the remainder of his days he ate every meal with the family. And for some reason, neither husband nor wife seemed to care any longer when a fork was dropped, milk spilled, or the tablecloth soiled.
`````````````````````````

On a positive note, I’ve learned that, no matter what happens, how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow.

I’ve learned that you can tell a lot about a person by the way he/she handles four things: a rainy day, the elderly, lost luggage, and tangled Christmas tree lights.

I’ve learned that, regardless of your relationship with your parents, you’ll miss them when they’re gone from your life.

I’ve learned that making a “living” is not the same thing as making a “life..”

I’ve learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance.

I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands. You need to be able to throw something back.

I’ve learned that if you pursue happiness, it will elude you. But if you focus on your family, your friends, helping others when you can, your work and doing the very best you can, happiness will find you.

I’ve learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision.

I’ve learned that even when I have pains, I don’t have to be one.

I’ve learned that every day, you should reach out and touch someone.

People love that human touch ~ holding hands, a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back.

I’ve learned that I still have a lot to learn.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Personal addendum:
I've learned that "learning" begins with accepting responsibility for my own choices, decisions, words and actions.
No one can take credit for my accomplishments and successes in life. By the same token, no one ~ other than me ~ can (or should) be blamed for my mistakes and failures.
I've learned to be just as proud of well fought defeats as I am of victories.
I've learned I'm still learning things... everyday!
Have a great day, everyone!!! Try to learn something good!
;)
Hi Ergo and thank you!!!! How are you? I hope you're keeping those chicks away from those "Hoodoo Guru's"!!!
How about a little WOLFMOTHER, now?
~~~New Moon Rising!!!~~~

I loves me some Wolfmother!!!

Have you ever seen them live? I'm really looking forward to seeing them at Voodoo (not HOODOO) Fest!

JET was on Letterman last night! They played "She's A Genius" (or, 'jean E us').

:)

ergoproxy said...

chicks are great thanks wendy

I don't mind Wolfmother, haven't seen them live though
I quite like Jet, but for me they sound good when they rock out, then have mellow songs that are just dull

back from my walk and did you see on the news they think they found a girl kidnapped 18 years ago!! That'll be an interesting story

Amyranth said...

Ergo, turning out to be a pretty different kidnapping tale.

Makes me wonder how many kids that were kidnapped are actually alive, and being held prisoner, or who have been brainwashed or beaten into submission...

ergoproxy said...

it is very odd isn't it, Amy as it unfolds
is a shame though if it gives false hope to some though, I always think not knowing is far far worse

Amyranth said...

Not knowing is always the worst. Same with not getting to say good-bye when you know they're gone forever.

Speaking off good-bye, would you like a free cat? Hazel discovered Mister's GI Joe collection on the windowsill, and she's decided she needs new toys.

The casualties are immense. She even got Snake-Eyes.

ergoproxy said...

oh dear, sounds like GI Joe is no match for the evil clutches of Ha-zell
wonder if she explained her plan for world domination before she attacked

Amyranth said...

She hasn't said anything to me, but when Mister gets home in the AM and finds his little display so carefully torn apart, abused and chewed on, he's not going to be impressed at all.

I don't even know WHY she's suddenly SO interested in them.

Amyranth said...

In fact, she took out Cobra Commander, Storm Shadow, several COBRA soldiers, and left one guy standing, to serve as a warning to the others I suppose.

I thought she'd gotten Snake-Eyes, but it looks like the Joes ducked just in time. :/

ergoproxy said...

oh phew, they should be planning a counter assault on her right now.
but joking aside Mister is going to be pretty upset though, it is odd why animals do stuff, Tom appears to be in love with one of my tops I wore yesterday.
Can you think of anything that might soften the blow of the discovery, or at least make up for it a bit?

Amyranth said...

hi there ergo, how are you?

Anon616 said...

Hello (again) Mayo, SS, Ergo, Amy, TJ, everyone!!!

Sorry I left so abruptly and without blowing kisses or sending hugs and love. I had unexpected company!

Ergo and Amy: That's a wonderful ~ and horrible ~ story about Jaycee Lee Dugard, isn't it? Can you imagine what she went through all these years? Being kidnapped, beaten, raped, forced to have this "man's" 2 children (the first when she was only 14), being forced to live with those 2 children in a tiny "compound" without running water or it's own electricity ... not to mention the "brainwashing" that ya'll were talking about.

Will this poor woman (and her two children) ever be able to heal from all the physical and mental abuse?

And, this guy was a KNOWN SEX OFFENDER on PAROLE and no one bothered to check what was in his backyard behind all those bushes and tarps??? Good grief people!

Can we put him UNDER the prison this time, please?

~~~Here's the story if anyone would like to read it.~~~
Amy: I'm so sorry to hear about Mister's GI collection! May they all rest in peace (and pieces).
Oh, great plan on how to get the Mister's mind of the GI tragedy!!! Don't forget to pick up a can or two of whipped cream tomorrow!
;)
TJ: What's new with you? Kermit, huh? Well, he had cute ears too and he's a lovely shade of green!
Have a great night, everyone!
Sweet dreams to one and all!!!
Hugs and Love,
hello and good night wendy. :)
i'm not too bad, ergo, i've been spending the evening thinking about the drive by show in september...i might be looking forward to it (a little bit lol)
ergo, i know you've had yours last week, so there's one...
my apologies for forgetting but my thinker's on ultra-sloooooooow today. i've had a fuckload of pain med for my hand. this morning i wanted to cut it off at the wrist it was so bad. L put a pain patch on it that has 700 mg of lidocaine in it. baby did that feel good. add in my usual tramadol and orphenadrine, and its "wake me up when its over".
goodnight ergo, amy, tj, wendy, elena (hope big e is better), mayo, and ss. hope to see you tomorrow.
it is isn't it, I love the kneading and the smell as it bakes is unbeatable (well frying onion and bacon may be on par)
anon, I think it's an inappropriate word for people to use. I'm sure there are terms that don't have such bad historical origins that could be used instead, it's a shame he didn't choose one. But then there are some who feel normalising the word can remove it's power. Seeing as it's not used here it's hard for me to say if it would.
mayo,
yes, of course i went outside. *grin*
it's almost my duty to soak up as much of this night sky as i can, after all, once i'm back in a city, there won't be much to see. as we used to joke back in seattle: "oh look! stars! dozens and dozens of them!" lol
however, regardless my future prospects for stargazing, it is definitely back to the city i'm heading. that's probably a smidge of why i'm looking forward to the trip in september, too, just to have another little taste of new york.
i'm not going to try to make a go of it in seattle anymore. i'll always feel like a seattlite (my blood will always be 54% caramel macchiato!), but i realize now that there is no room for me to make a fresh start there. my old life is crammed into every corner of the puget sound.
so i might as well try my hand at the urban northeast. it's what i always said i would do, back when i was a teenager in montana. it's time to see if i can cross that off my to-do list, and maybe i'll even find i have a home there, waiting for me.
but i've got plenty of time to memorize the night sky. i'm going to make sure i'm well prepared before taking my next leap.
good night, mayo. i hope you look at the stars once in awhile, too, no matter how many of them there are to see.
according to comments at another blog
Frank just has to be so incredibly nice to fans he meets and hang out with them after Leathermouth shows and those fangirls won't see him as a douche.
The same rules do not apply to the other members of MCR. GW, Bob and Mikey are stilldouches. Prolly because they weren't incredibly nice to fangirls and didn't hang outafter shows.
L O L
Talk about hypocrisy and annoying simpletons. Be nice to ME and you can say whatever you want on your twitter. I won't judge you or call you a douche if you do that.
It has nothing to do with free speech for them.
Unbelievable and annoying as fuck.
I don't think any of them are douches. They are grown ass men who probably don't appreciate people who don't even know them judging them, their families, their friends, every word they say, what tweets they haha reply to, and their lives.
I would get annoyed too if people did that to me on a daily basis. I'm annoyed for them.
And Frank Lero turns out to be the biggest douche of em all. Bet he had to work extra hard to sharpen his douchebaggery skills to be a bigger douche than Mkey, Bob, and Gerard. Gerard probably won't be happy to lose his title of Queen Douchebag to the sugary, sweet, fan loving, asskisser formerly known as Frank Iero aka Frank Lero.
Wouldn't it be interesting to see what your "precious" SS or the almighty GOD, Mayo think about these asshole twats? Hell, we already know what Gerard thinks about Mayonaise.
To, Just like it sounds,
Oh hey there, bitter ex-fangirl (am I right, am I wrong? Did you come from VV's?) I thought it was only the little fangirls that expect the guys to be perfect and y'know, not real human beings with real personalities. So the dudes have attitude, deal. They're not perfect. They're also not as nasty as they could be when you consider how much crap/insults/nastiness/stupidity gets tweeted at them each day. Did you see someone ask if Frank got fat because he loved Gerard but Gerard doesn't love him back?
Did he then go and get all insulting at them? No, he just stated that he was sick, and the medication made him gain weight. A lot of people probably would've mocked them for it, but Frank took the high road on that one and was just honest about it. I don't agree with everything he's posted or think it's all haha-hilarious because it's from him, but try not to forget they have good days and bad days just like everyone else.
Anonymous said...
Sucka @ 8:49 life's so hard when you get nasty tweets from teenagers. Aint it? Guess they gotta deal too, or not read the computer screen.
Anonymous said...
Gotta solution to that 9:17. They should just block everyone, except their best buds of course.
Anonymous said...
The people who refer to SS as our 'precious' SS seem to have a misconceived idea about how we perceive him. Sure, if you judge him
solely on his blog I can see where you might get that idea, but it was when he was just hanging out with us here and commenting anonymously that his real personality shone through. We know he's not perfect, we know he can be a sarcastic little shit. We know he has dark humor, and he has shown us he can get pissed and frustrated just like anyone else. We know he is human, has faults and has bad days. He is loved by many here, not in spite of those things, but because of them.
Anonymous said...
So SS stands for sarcastic shit. Strange. All I saw were stories about sheep, goats, frogs and butterfly's named Albert Einstein. Which he sure ain't.
Anonymous said...
Frank / SS is a douche just like the rest of them. "Grown men" who are "sarcastic" don't need to use words like that. They also don't need to tweet about how someone's kids should have been aborted with a coat hanger because they ruined his viewing of A KID'S MOVIE.
He's a dick just like Gerard, Bob, all the rest of them.
Believe me. Maybe you people here don't know "grown men" with their "human imperfections", because even though you are (over)grown women you don't actually deal with real men on a regular basis and you idealized MCR. MCR takes the place of "real, grown men" in your lives and it messed up your perception of real men.
MCR are not good men with a few minor imperfections. They are mouthy, hateful douchebags.
Anonymous said...
Run along back to VV's.
10:11
What are real men and where do you deal with them?
You make me laugh so hard. LOL
Anonymous said...
Think what you like. Nobody here cares. People here consider him a friend. He has said and done a lot of things for people here that you would never see or hear about.
9.17 Sucka
What the hell is that even supposed to mean? I don't get my panties all in a twist because they're not all nice and sugary so that makes me a 'sucka'? Yes they can ignore them, obviously they do ignore the majority of them, but I should think there comes a point when anyone would say 'fuck this I'm gonna reply to that'. And so what if they do? If some teenager has nothing better to do than say insulting or rude things then they deserve to be put down for what they've said, imo.
Personally I was disgusted by the coathanger remark. It wasn't necessary or even funny, and being Joisey talk, as I've had said to me, is not a valid excuse, but I don't think they're horrible human beings, they just say stupid shit like everyone else, only more people get to see it. And they should be more careful sometimes but nobody should be going around censuring them-if people don't like it they don't have to read them anymore, or believe in the band as a whole if they don't want to.
Anonymous said...
MCR is the "Twilight" of the music biz, adored by teens with low standards and bored, sad older women who need a fantasy.
