It came from OPJ's blog who posted it there, without any numbers, to prove to Kapunua that she knew she was leaving nasty comments at OPJ's blog under an anon guise. Several comments. That little bit of info got swept under the rug, didn't it? An anon brought it over to Mayo's and added a fake number which Kapunua kept on and on about being hers until she finally got called on it.

An anon at 12:17 posted a comment that was supposedly on Mayo's to show OPJ put numbers on here for Kapunua and Staten Island.
Another anon called them on it, saying that particular comment was never posted on Mayo's, only at Kapunua's blog and she deleted it right after. (But not apparently before saving)
The first anon said it was posted many times on Mayo's, gave a basic date frame.
I checked, found the comment was NOT the comment posted at 12:17, but the one that was taken from OPJ's blog and a fake IP number added. It was shown that was the comment posted over and over.
You could not show proof that the comment at 12:17 was ever posted at Mayos.

Earlier I made a comment to an anon which they threw back at me. I have to say I was pretty shocked. It started with the anon saying there was a difference between “right” and “nice”. Now I assume this was said because to some I’m viewed as someone who was nice to those they consider enemies. I so wanted to say “catch a fuckin’ clue, I try to be nice to everyone”. Stupid me likes everyone. No, I don’t like everyone’s actions, I never have. But then again I’ve never met anyone who I like every thing they say and do. Okay, that’s not the point. So without getting into this stupid shit again about “sides”, here is what shocked me. I said that there is a difference but I wanted to know who got to decide what is right and what is wrong. And they couldn’t believe I said that. Well I said it and I meant it. I just wonder if that person truly believes right and wrong are etched in stone because I sure as hell don’t. Yeah, some things, like murdering a human, can go into the right and wrong category. Uh, that one is wrong. But really, everything? Come on. What is right for one person can be totally wrong for another. And yeah, I believe there are gray areas. Only because I believe each person has a right to their own beliefs and freedom to choose how they want to live their lives. If what they believe to be right hurts no one when why can’t it be right? Wait, can it be wrong because someone else says so? Nope, not in my book. Okay lets put this in blog terms because really that’s what was going on. I was friends with everyone here. Then came the fuckin’ division and the “sides”. Did that change the way I felt about people? Yes, just for the fact that I hate people fighting but it did not make me like anyone less. I’ve never hid the fact that I talk to people from both “sides” and that I like them all. But suddenly because some have left I’m viewed as having chosen one “side”. How far from the truth is that? I remain here because I want to be here. Many of my friends still remain here. And I stay because I promised you I would. This in no way means I don’t miss those who are gone. well I had a good day, got some shopping done and I am now proficient in the use of a needle gun to remove rust from bulldozer track plates prior to resurfacing, also in the use of a metal strapping device to strap the track plates onto a pallet ready for transport back to be put together again. Lots of fun working beside my husband, though he tells me I don't get a pay raise until I've done 2 years. Oh well, there are good fringe benefits :]

Hi everyone.
Well, I have been watching the wall to wall MJ tributes this weekend. I loved him so much when I was little. Not a day went past when I didn't watch my Thriller video. I have always thought it was a weird thing to say about someone but he really was at his most normal when he was dancing with zombies.
I think it's so hard hitting cos we have known him all our lives and it kind of reminds us of our mortality and how time passes so quickly when you get older.
It's strange because last week on the news they were talking about the O2 concerts in London and I turned to my sis and said "they will never happen, something will come up to stop them". Wow, never imagined this.
It's like that time at work when they found a body. When I worked at the hospital I walked past this car park every day for 18 months. This car park was down a slope where there was a bush at the bottom. For 18 months nothing, then one day I walk past and the thought jumps into my head "that's a good place to hide a body".
A couple of days later they found the body of a patient who had wandered off. He'd been missing a few days so he'd been in that bush at the exact time that thought jumped into my head. It was strange. Fancy thinking about a body being in the bush at the time there actually was one there.
For 18 months nothing, then one day I walk past and the thought jumps into my head "that's a good place to hide a body".

I think his mum will get them to start with but she's 79 so what happens when she's gone?

what that nanny said is a weird thing too, she has said she used to pump his stomach, but the doctor seemed happy to prescribe him multiple painkillers and such, and he was a cardiologist.
Deepak Chopra came out yesterday, I think, and said there are many doctors in Hollywood who trade their medical ethics for the fame they get from being with celebrities, it seems so commonplace in celebrity deaths now to hear they have massive amounts of prescription drugs, all from one doctor.

Those doctors need clamping down on. It's like Elvis all over again. Will these celebs never learn. They think cos a qualified doctor is prescribing it that it's not drugs as in bad drugs like heroin and it's not an addiction it's a medical condition. They are so in denial.

it is a tragic mess for lots of celebrities these days, the lure of reflected glory is obviously too strong for many people who should have much stronger ethics, but then many doctors get accused of a degree of arrogance too, believing they know better and are in control of the situation
it needs a massive crackdown, but who could do it? Self-regulation of the industry isn't going to work at that level
I think unfortunately we'll just see more of it as time passes, natural death will become the surprise in the world of celebrity.

but it was great to see the campus, it's become such a beautiful place. and saturday night after the banquet we ended up hanging out with some older alums at one of the local bars -- they were class of 62 but where leaving everyone behind out on the dance floor! it was so much fun to party with them, and to feel a sense of fellowship with earlier students. we were all dancing with some current students at the university (the male half of our joint schools) and they were having just as much fun, there were no distinctions made based on age or anything. we were all just bennies and johnnies rockin out! *hee*

one of the biggest surprises for me this past weekend was the moment my friend and i headed over to the concert.
i wasn't expecting much, to be honest. the info for it never gave anything but the headliner's name, a disco cover band that looked like they might be fun. i bought my ticket for it as much because it was the better alternative for the evening as for any desire to go see the advertsed band.
so, that night we walked over to the lawn where the show was being held, having missed the first band in our delayed arrival on campus. as soon as we were close enough for me to hear the second band, though, something kicked in within me, and i almost forgot to stop at the ticket table, the draw was so strong!
it wasn't even dark yet, only a half-dozen alumnae were dancing on the grass in front of the makeshift stage, goofing off with each other more than responding to the music. it was incredibly wrong, it was an injustice, because these guys were good. they weren't a hobby band, oh no -- though they were all also alumnae (class of 2001, actually) they had only been "retired" for a year. they sounded solid, like a band i would have heard on the second stage at any festival.
it was real rock music.
what could i do? i was being fed practically, being energized by the guitar and drum and bass, by the beat on my sternum...i took up my usual spot stage left, against the barrier if there had been a barrier, and stayed there for their whole set, just as if i was in a concert crowd, just as if i wasn't the only one giving the band my undivided attention.
gods, i thought i wasn't going to be able to see any live music this year -- the local rock scene is difficult to discover, and my money is, in any case, more properly tied up with a couple of projects.
i just figured that while i was here, i would be on a forced sabbatical from standing in front of bands, a sabbatical from participating in what restores my energy.
what a great gift that band was! and i thanked them for it, too. *grin*
once again, i have been reminded that you never know what's waiting for you on the horizon.
