Chiral

That is not me
Through the mirror
From which I see
Spouting lies
And histories
None that matter
Not to me.

In reverie
I am fabled
Often wickedly
Sprouting eyes
like mysteries
A ghost blown curtain
Through which you see.

And it cycles
Its cycles.

I do not know why.

Hey mayo. Thanks for the new post.

hi Mayo
how are you?

ergoproxy said...

I like your poem
Once again you show you have a wonderful way with words

elena said...

Hey Mayo

What's up?

So is the chiral negative or positive?

ergoproxy said...

You aren't going to say Gidday?

elena said...

Hey Ergo and BC

A big Gidday to both of you.

ergoproxy said...

Hiya elena! how are you?

perhaps he's a helix..
or he's contemplating enantiomorphs..

elena said...

I'm okay. Fred and I are playing a word game right now.

But it doesn't involve any words like those you just used.

Anonymous said...

hi there elena

ergoproxy said...

oh what word game is it?

those ones are geometry, it's when a shape is a chiral, like a helix and I was doing it with my yr 12 maths student

elena said...

What's up BC?

elena said...

Ergo

Those words are Greek to me.

The word game is called "Tumble Bees". It's on Pogo.

*yawns*

thank you for the text, ergo.

good to see you again, mayo. thank you for the poem! something new to chew on. :)

back to bed now, thoough. good night everyone. sweet dreams!

ergoproxy said...

goodnight Tj sweet dreams

you know a helix elena? like a spiral

the other is a flash term for things with chirality, one of those in my "words I know but never get to use" list

elena said...

We knew that

(Fred says we did anyway)

ergoproxy said...

actually seeing as I mentioned geometry one of my favourite words is Euclidian
(you-klid-ian)
I just love the way it sounds, unfortunately not a great call for it in normal conversation,
and I was telling my student today about "elucidate" and we decided it was a word that needed to come back into common use, so he's going to try, lol

elena said...

Okay Fred just yelled at the computer "I knew that one".

ergoproxy said...

yay Fred!!

how do you play Tumble bees? and what is Pogo?

elena said...

What's Pogo?

Oh my you don't know? It's fun. Just go to Pogo.com. Lots of games you can play for free.

ergoproxy said...

Oh I've used there sites like that, we even have educational ones I used last year for those reading/maths kids, I'll have a look

elena said...

Well Fred said that Blackjack teaches you to count to 21.

Okay it's really late here and let's face it our words on Tumble Bees have been of the 3 letter variety.

ergoproxy said...

I had a go at Tumble bees, it is fun
I got 3 words over 3 letters lol all the rest were little, It's hard to think when they are all falling in like that

elena said...

What room are you in?

We can go into the same room and chat (as if this were not fun enough)

ergoproxy said...

oh goodness I don't know!

do I have to sign in? I was playing as a guest

elena said...

Just look at the top it will tell you what room you are in. We are in Graceful Bee

ergoproxy said...

am I in your room?

ergoproxy said...

I had to stop time to feed the animals

Anonymous said...

Goodnight everyone

elena said...

Sorry Ergo I had to take Fred home. We looked up and realized it was 2:30 in the morning here. Not sure where the time went. Now I gotta hop in the shower but maybe tomorrow night we can meet up at Pogo and head into the same room.

ergoproxy said...

goodnight BC! sweet dreams

that's ok elena, I haven't a lot of time tonight either, we will meet on pogo one day!! lol

have a nice shower and sweet dreams

Mayo

I really like your new post. I think my favorite line is “A ghost blown curtain
Through which you see.”. That is some fuckin’ cool imagery. Well at least it is too me. Wish you could have hung a bit but I’m sure you’re busy.

I’ve been going threw some of my storage areas and throwing some shit on e-bay lately. Lots of antiques that I’ve collected over the years. I don’t want them anymore and none of my girls like the stuff. So why keep it? I look at the items and remember where I acquired them. It’s funny but almost ever item I associate not just where it was from but what was going on in my life at the time. And most all memories center on my girls and what stage of their lives they were at. It’s sorta like I don’t remember anything about how I felt or thought at the time, I only remember what they were doing then. But nothing is like it was now. And if I hold on to the past too tight that is where I’ll stay. It was a beautiful past but it’s gone.

Anyway I really brought that up because I found a very old Japanese work of art tucked away and I want to show it to you. It’s a painting that is done on a straw weave I believe. I’m not really sure. But it’s too late tonight so maybe tomorrow.

Take care.

Night Mayo

Elena (memories have such sharp edges sometimes)

miranth said...

HI!

Anyone here? Just woke up.

Mayo - You got these scheduled for every three weeks, or what? :)

I will have to reread when more awake.

miranth said...

PS - I seem to remember talking about chirality before?

Was it in a post or a riddle? I can't seem to remember much these days, but I do know that everything at Mayo's pops up again, usu. somewhere else in funny and unexpected ways.

:D

ergoproxy said...

hi Miranth
it was a riddle from quite a while ago I remembered it too

and I said last post, thanks for the Ped Egg info, good to know you had a laugh!!

Anonymous said...

enantiomer or maybe an isomer

only optical?

hmmm

i think you were right on the money ergo

miranth said...

Anon - I don't remember the details of 'isomers' and whatnot, but I do remember the riddle episode.

That was fun.

Thanks ergo! It was pretty funny - and I didn't know they had a knockoff. That's even more hilarious! LOL

AMY - if you read this sorry! Didn't mean to harm you in any way with my words. And yeah, I realize Ped-Eggs are very gross!

Hopping btwn rooms here. Back later.

ergoproxy said...

thanks anon, perhaps he's looking at not only a reflection but a translation

ergoproxy said...

miranth I think the Ped Egg will haunt many a person now, lol
*shudder*

miranth said...

The thing is, ergo, I would never have had any curiosity about such a thing (ped-egg) had I not recalled the reference here. I usu. spend as little time as possible at the store unless I can't find what I am looking for.

I think you like shopping? Or at least finding deals? :)

Just read back and I see you were referencing items (mostly in nature) with chirality?

Interesting thought about translation.

I am curious about the lie part of the equation, as if what is reflected is not the truth.

The concept of cycles is interesting too. The helix twists which is like cycling.

But perhaps Mayo is referencing these ideas in a metaphorical sense.

I get the idea that part of it is a response to people who chastise or in some way vilify our blogger.

Mayo - above are my initial thoughts as to the post, but I have had no caffeine as of yet so excuse the mental meandering!

:)

ergoproxy said...

Miranth I like shopping but I can't do it for long, I have to have a purpose, and if I don't find something I like I can't just hang around aimlessly, I shop like I ma on a hunt and as I don't get a lot of opportunity, when I do it's a treat.
take care xx

ergoproxy said...

Mayo
I have been thinking on your post and I was taken by the first lines
That is not me
Through the mirror..

relating that to the rest of the post I pondered...

I would think a great many people do not feel they are the person they see in the mirror, and the reasons can be varied.

Is it that the mirror shows aspects that we wish not to acknowledge, things of which we are not proud, or that we wish to hide. That it makes us uncomfortable to see how we really are. To confront what we try to sweep beneath the carpet. The mirror becomes a jury.

Is it that the mirror makes us feel inferior again, that it is not the image we have of ourselves. That it shows us our frailties, bringing us back down to earth, reminding us of our flaws. Without seeing the reflection we can be what we imagine. The mirror becomes a hindrance.

Is it that the mirror is reflecting a person we know we are not. Circumstances having created a false image which we feel doesn't fit how we truly feel about ourselves. A caricature created by others, ourselves or both, from which we feel powerless to be free. The mirror becomes a prison.

Is it that the image we see is what we want to be. Like a parallel dimension where confidence is a given. Where we are the masks we use. The lines between reality and fantasy are blurred so as to be meaningless. We see what we aspire to really truly feel. The mirror becomes a goal.

Or are all these interchangeable?
Is the goal of one the prison of another?
Or are they all really facets of the same thing?

So when we look in our mirror, is it the perception of ourselves which is flawed, or that of the image?

I don't know either.

much love EP xx

miranth said...

Bye now.

Amy and BC - I love watching hockey fights! Its odd cause I hate boxing. I remember when the Red Wings were so terrible that the highlights of any game were the fights.

9:02 and other Anons - I was the one who got the love anon attribution incorrect, but the laughs were right :) Thank you for more 'sploding cock. Art talk as an anon said.

Imaginary Friends YAY! :) Yes, in many ways I am still two.

Anons - Please leave MissT alone. She defends everyone and just wants this to be a comfortable place for all. As many of us do.

FASC!!!! - I hope you are well! I miss our morning interactions and THANK YOU so much for letting us know Bella is well. I was getting more and more worried. I am glad she is spending some time volunteering. I am sure those affected appreciate the help and I hope it comforts her as well.

Ergo - You are the same as me then, shopping-wise. Take care and I will try to read your examination of the post more fully later. You pose an interesting question though. Maybe if we could see ourselves through others' eyes, we would get clearer answer, both literally and figuratively, though then again depending on who is watching the reflection may be even more convoluted.

Lewis - I wonder if you are right about mayo/ss visiting more than is obv. I have no clue who any of the anons are unless they share something I said privately (which is very rare). I don't even try to ascribe identities to them. Its not because of a lack of curiosity, but rather more a respect for those who wish not to be identified (a well as a product of my own cluelessness!)

PS - Anons - Can we leave the bereavement talk? If those recently bereaved feel better speaking about it here, that is a very good thing, but having lost two people in the last 6 months the constant arguing about grief and what people can and can't say about it is really starting to get to me. I am sorry, but its true. I like to remember them fondly and this here makes me sad. :((

And I don't mean to offend anyone, I am just speaking the truth.

You prob. don't care anyway, but I felt the need to say it. And you are not required to respond in any way, but if I read nothing on the matter I will be impressed and, not least, at peace.Thank you.

Mayo - I will have to read your post more carefully, but I appreciate your effort in putting it out there, as I always do. I am confused though. Do you feel that what people speak of you are lies, or what you find yourself speaking are lies, or are you confused by the reflection of yourself in others' eyes? And here I will repeat what I wrote to ergo: Maybe if we could see ourselves through others' eyes, we would get clearer answer, both literally and figuratively, though then again, depending on who is watching the reflection may be even more convoluted. Which would add to the confusion I fear and may be the experience to which you refer.

Now that I have confused myself, I will leave you. :)

Have a great day Everyone!

miranth said...

PPS - I haven't thought of Jabberwocky since I had to copy it over and over for drafting class. I will go back and read it when I have time.

Anons - Avoid the Twitter! It will suck out hours of your life! Its why I don't have one (a twitter account, I mean.)

:D OK really gotta go.

Hi peeps & creeps! ^_^

I like your post, Mayo. Although I'll leave the deep & inspiring analysis to people like Elena, Ergo and Miranth, who know what they're doing -- all I can say is, better to be chiral than viral. :D

<--- has no Twitter, no Facebook, and is proud of it!

I'm glad Bella is OK.
And what's this about someone picking on Miss T? *grr*
She's a sweetheart, and anyone who picks on her will be answering to me! So be warned. :p

Anonymous said...

OMFGGGG I had a huge long response written out TWICE, and effing TWICE FireSux shut down on me before I could hit "publish." I even copied it but it refused to paste. BITCH.

Anyway Mayo, I wanted to pop in here and congratulate you on this poem. First of all, I love the chemistry metaphor! Chemistry and all the sciences are so suited to poetry, don't you think? Richard Feynman thought so, and I agree with him.

I do love the "Chiral" metaphor and even though I'm sure you meant it as just that--a metaphor--to me it resonated more literally. (Oooh, resonance, now there is a chemistry concept that would make for a good poem too!) The reason I wanted to take it literally is because I am so asymmetrical that I can't even stand to look in the damn mirror most of the time. I only have one in the house, it's in the bathroom (who wants to run into themselves all over the damn house?) and sometimes I don't even turn on the light, because no one wants to see that, least of all me! Symmetry has so much to do with how we define physical beauty, and I have neither! Heehee.

"Sprouting eyes" at first made me think of potatoes, (heh,) and then later of this one part in Stephen King's Gunslinger series in which mutant spiders sprout "eyes on stalks." I'll never forget that image; it's so creepy that it gave me nightmares.

It's easy to let others define you, I guess. Harder to define yourself and harder still if, to quote Queensryche, "the mirror lies." (Except that it usually doesn't. Sadly.)

Well Mayo, it's like they said on X Files: We are not who we are.Take care, my friend, I miss you!

Mayo – glad to see you’re still kicking. I was beginning to wonder if you drifted off into the electronic cosmos never to return.

A ghost blown curtain

Is just the coolest damn line. I can totally picture it.

Isn’t it interesting to hear peoples’ perceptions of you? Especially when they don’t really know you? Then again, what happens when the deception you wear is all you show the world? Nobody gets the true glimpse and when they do, they don’t understand it, don’t like it, or don’t want it.

Yes, it’s quite a conundrum there. Let in the masses and risk getting hurt or wear the veil and risk misconception.

Wonderful post. Thanks for catching us on the flip-side. On that note, Happy Earth Day.

Anon, I've been in for a peek or two, but that's about it. This morning I got an email: "What do you think of Mayo's poem?" and it sounded like it was up my alley so I wanted to come check.

Honestly there's always been some cruelty on this blog, but after last week's (or two weeks ago?) astounding new low, I reminded myself of what I've always thought: the fortunate thing about the internet is that you can turn the black box off and the bad people go away. Or in this case, if you just click the little "X".

It's simply not worth it for me to be here that much or sometimes at all.

Mayo's new poem made it worth it to come in and say, "good job."

That all right by you?

Astounding new low? like the new low when you told CTV that she was "over reacting" when SS stole her words? The night that she was crying in tears and you told her it "wasn't a big deal"?? Yeah, low like THAT?

Anonymous said...

CTV is a whiny ass baby.

Anonymous said...

new low"

She has to mean that curse put on MJ wishing her a lifetime of illness and tragedy.

Anonymous said...

SS didn't steal her words. He said himself he was 'borrowing the words of one to comfort another.' He also borrowed Kapu's grandma's words in his latest post but you don't see her crying and calling the waaaahmbulance cuz he didn't give her grandma credit for her words. Kapu took the words as they were intended. Clearly it was his way of tipping his hat to her grandma and acknowledging the wisdom in her words just like he did with CTV. The people involved in both cases knew who the words he was using belonged to. That's what mattered; not what anyone else thinks. Using CTV's words to help someone else showed he valued the words and the power they had to help others. It was actually a huge compliment to CTV. It's not SS's fault some people don't get it and are only happy when things are being flaunted for others to see and be 'impressed' with.

Anonymous said...

Exactly!

Anonymous said...

CTV was in pain and hurting. How do you justify her pain meaning than anothers?

Anonymous said...

IMO telling someone "he didn't mean it like that, it's not a big deal GET OVER IT there are more important things to cry about" is nowhere NEAR as god awful as telling someone that they are grieving wrong about their grandmother who died, when like that day or something?

Anonymous said...

That's not what MJ did. She never told anybody that the way they were grieving was wrong.

Anonymous said...

"that's what matters, not what anybody else thinks" she said.

Anonymous said...

General opinion seems to be that Wendy wrote that curse just to see if the Porchies would delete it like they deleted Martha's comment about K's grandma......

Anonymous said...

Kapu was grieving and in pain. Where was your compassion then, when MJ was ctiticizing her because she didn't feel she was mourning 'the right way'

Anonymous said...

"That's not what MJ did. She never told anybody that the way they were grieving was wrong."

That's funny because her words were "I don't agree with the way you're handling it" only in MJ speak meaning with nothing spelled right and everything in the wrong tense.

Anonymous said...

lol

the conspiracy theories have hit an astounding new low.

Anonymous said...

MJ certainly made it clear she didn't agree with the way Kapu was dealing with her loss. IT WAS NONE OF HER BUSINESS! Talk about adding insult to injury.

Anonymous said...

If MJ feels she isn't welcome here because of what she said to Kapu, then as the porchies have been told many times...

nobody is kicking her out. it's her choice to leave.

Anonymous said...

^ only difference is Mayo won't get all upset and ask MJ to come back like he does with Kapu and her friends.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...
CTV was in pain and hurting. How do you justify her pain meaning than anothers?

this sentence makes no sense. hello mj!

Love the poem Mayo! It's great to see poetry here. I find it odd that some people complain about poetry being posted here when you so obviously love and appreciate poetry.

Anonymous said...

It's not that they were posting poetry. It's that they were asked NICELY to stop by Amyranth and a few others, and they didn't.

Anonymous said...

So it's ok when Mayo posts poetry?

Anonymous said...

He doesn't do it non stop. It's just how they kept doing it when they were told some people didn't like it. It was the way they did it.

Anonymous said...

Well, Mayo said he misses them posting their poetry. I suppose it matters more what Mayo likes and dislikes than Amy. After all. it's his blog last time I checked, not hers.

Anonymous said...

Agreed. She had no right to try and decide what could and couldn't be posted or how frequently. That's Mayo's call. No one else.

Anonymous said...

Mayo misses EVERYBODY. He said it many times. Not JUST them.

Anonymous said...

if MJ really believed in what she was saying to kapu, she wouldn't have to write it anonymously. she knew what she was writing was low. i don't even know why she felt she had to comment. it was none of her business.

Anonymous said...

But Amy and her group are still here every day. You know that told quote..... how can I miss you if you won't go away?

Anonymous said...

Think of all the people that have left. Has Mayo EVER asked them to come back? He's done it with the porchies...more than once.

Anonymous said...

PLEASE Amy, give Mayo the opportunity to miss you.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

Uh no. Amy went off and sulked after Mayo put her in her place. She came back of her own accord. Mayo didn't reach out to her like he did with Kapunua and her friends.

Anonymous said...

2:25 musta missed all the other wonderful poetry posted recently.

Anonymous said...

It's obviously OK when Wendy posts poetry. It's just when the Porchies do it that people complain.

Anonymous said...

so it's not the poetry you have a problem with, it's WHO posts the poetry.

Anonymous said...

Great minds think alike other 2:49!

Anonymous said...

why would mayo be so nice to someone who so openly expresses her disgust at GW?

Anonymous said...

Because Mayo is GV not GW.

Anonymous said...

I'll tell you what is low. OPL was in the hospital. She almost DIED. OPJ went through so very much. She had to be so strong, stronger then ever. And she was. She took care of her best friend. That was a real true horror.... something someone went through that was so hard.

OPL is SO YOUNG. And she almost died.

Kapu's grandmother died. She led a full life.

SS wrote a post about and mentioned Kapu's grandmother.

Not a word about OPL's sickness. How bad it was. How she almost died. Or about OPJ and how hard she struggled and what SHE went through.

The OPs are loyal to SS. They never ask him for words. They never bother him. They just offer their love.

This is what I think so wrong.

If you kiss SS ass, he will write a post about you.

Anyway! But I watched it without subtitles (not that it's too hard to understand the parts I haven't already seen; one gets the gist of it) and I watched bits and pieces. (I think I'll save watching the whole thing until I do get a subtitled version.)

My first and so far only thought is that it is so much bloodier and more gruesome than the original. The fight scene between Cloud and Sephiroth is brutal. I mean like, arterial spray brutal.

So of

So I really don't think if Mayo was GW he would still even be talking to her.

Actually Kapu had to wait since Sep 2007 and suffer a bereavemnet to even get a mention from SS on his blog. The post was about HIS family and it just had one sentence that related to Kapu. IMHO Jen got the best post from SS. That post showed how how much he thinks of her.

First 3:09, I agree. It's these types of stupid comments that must make mayo and ss think it's not worth it. Why come here at all when there every move is under scrutiny? They must have to think really carefully before they answer and who they answer. I remember the days when they both would just come hang out and chat. SS sometimes had me in hysterics. *remembers the infamous Let's Tango! comment and the raiding of his underwear drawer and funny stories about pranks he plays*
"

i remember those days too.
i remember people who didn't feel the need to point out when ss or mayo was hanging out, joking around or answering them. when friends could come here and just have fun.

then i remember when it started. the arguements over whose questions were being answered.

"the yes was for this person."

"no. the yes was for that person."

the need to be the centers of attention on a blog. the need to make sure everybody thought the person you wanted to receive attention was receiving attention. the need to tear another apart to try and build up the ones you like.

the poor this person or poor that person.

i think that happened about 3 months in. it's no wonder so many have left.

that and the smell.

Anonymous said...

i'll race you to those center trees.

It's a shame it happened here, but it's so true.

Sorry, had to go a meeting. :(

Jenn, if you happen to pop in again -- I'm on Metformin, which is always fun on the ol' digestive system. My doc has me on a whole bunch of shit. I swear, I take more meds than my grandparents did.

Anons, I'm not even going to bother saying anything, except that most people "leave" because they're tired of reading the same shit over & over again.Some are on one person's side, some are on another's. Everyone reading this blog perceives things differently. What's the point in bringing up the past??

Anonymous said...

SM did you notice that KAPU brought up the past? Astounding new low? That was about MJ and probably Wendy. Does THAT matter to you? Or is SHE allowed to in your mind?

farawaysoclose said...

I'm on Metformin, which is always fun on the ol' digestive system.oh shit Sis M!!

lovely seeing you, i have just popped back in before shutting my computer down. Metformin = bad wind! i have treated alot of Diabetic feet in my time and yeh... so they say!

take care of yourself Sis M, diabetes is a fucker. be really sensible and healthy. it's dull as fuck i am sure.

sister midnite said...

Yes, Anon, she mentioned 'the past', But she referenced an event rather than a person. Not the same thing, but nice try.

farawaysoclose said...

cunting blogger!

oh shit Sis M!!

yeah that is what it should have said!

Its funny, you stand there and look at everything. The lines on your face, the ruffles in your hair, even the way you stand whether it is on a slant of straight. Sometimes it is a good sight, content with what you see. Unfortunatly you get the off chance of seeing something that makes you feel sick. When that happens your stomach begins to turn and doubt sets in your mind but thats all it is.... doubt.

You are who you are and who you want to be is who you will be.

Do not let anyone EVER look, say or think anything different.

I think that is a perfect lesson in life, one that some people find easy to learn and others spen all their life trying to learn it but never do.

Proud to be who you are and if not, go on that journey to find it. It will be worth it one day.

i am so not saying you are the same anons, you deffo aren't. just saying i think i recognise certain anon traits.

not important, who cares.

goodnight from England everyone. St George's Day tomorrow. it's not really celebrated here. i thing Scotland celebrate St Andrew's Day, Ireland deffo celebrate St Patrick's! I think the Scots celebrate Burn's night alot also. But in England we don't really celebrate St George's Day. dunno why? just never have. i am sure in the war they did??

Been thinking about Mayo's post, and I wonder, do any of us really see ourselves as we truly are?

I miss kickball. :(

MissTottenham said...

Hiya mayo. How's you's?

Great new post. I'm glad to see that you still have your wits about you after the beating you have been taking from Smoke. Honestly, what did you do to get a pasting like that, you must be black and blue by now. *hands over healing cream*

Thanks FASC for letting us know that bella is OK. That's great news.

Sorry to hear you are not well SisM, I'm sending my healing cream you way too ^_^

Thanks Miranth and SisM for being my ever faithful bodyguards. No one's gonna mess with you guys.

-I think I got my notes a little mixed up this morning!-

Hi MissT! - I meant I wanted them to leave you alone when they were chiding you for your remembrances of others. It was rude.

You know SisM and I got your back!

Hi SisM - Also, I meant to ask them to back off of their insults to you when you were just asking for peace. And then they were being rude for your efforts! Oh, the irony!

Hi FASC!!! And Fimble

:)

OK I need a nap so I shall go now.

Hello Mayo, SS, Ergo, FASC, MissT, Sweetcheeks, SisMidnite, Miranth, Fimble, everyone!!!

How are you all? Good, I hope!

Mayo: Wonderful new post. I must admit, I did miss your poetry! Thank you for the new post/piece/room!

Now, I'm sure you all know I must address a few things said today.

First:

Anonymous said...
General opinion seems to be that Wendy wrote that curse just to see if the Porchies would delete it like they deleted Martha's comment about K's grandma......
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
If that is what "general opinion" seems be, then "general opinion" is ~ once again ~ 100 percent inaccurate.
Once again, please allow me to make this clear. I did not post the "binding/hex/curse" comment at the porch. I haven't posted a comment at the porch since Sdock's birthday. I believe that comment was "HAPPY BIRTHDAY SDOCK" along with a picture of a hot air balloon to "help her fly".
Secondly, I would love for any anon to show me where I said anything negative about anyone's grandmother or the way they choose to mourn and remember any beloved family member. You can't, because I didn't.
Did I stand by a friend whose words were being twisted, who was having words, and the miscontrued intent of those words, forced into her mouth? Yes, I did, as I have many times in the past.
That friend of mine was asked to explain her actions and she did. She didn't have to; but, she did.
Furthermore, that friend of mine has asked me to tell everyone, if you have a problem with her or anything she said, to leave it off this blog and e~mail your remarks to her.
I am requesting the same regarding any future accusations (and I'm sure there will be more).
However, as I have said, if doing (or believing) any of these things brings you some sort of happiness... well, that's just strange... but please, continue ~ with me and not with my friend. I'm "batshit" so it doesn't bother me!
:P
Thank you for reading!
Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~
MissT: Chipmunk/hamster cheek is gone! YAY!!!!
Of course, now I have surgery on the right side to look forward to next month!
Come to think of it, I think I'm going to have to reschedule that one. There's a concert I want to go to that night!!!!
How have you been? What's new in your neck of the woods?
MissTottenham said...
Good luck with the dentist.
My friend had a baby last week and if they are in the vicinity tomorrow I will get to see him for the first time. He is named after the cousin I lost.
Anon616 said...
Ohhh... I read that MissT!!!! I think that was such an amazing thing to do!
His first and middle name too!!!! That's a great friend, MissT. Her doing that shows how much she loves and respects you and her friendship with you.
Shucks, I'm getting all mushy now! It's hormones with the baby talk!
ergoproxy said...
joke for you:
A married man went into the confessional and said to his priest,
'I almost had an affair with another woman.'
The priest said, 'What do you mean, almost?'
The man said, 'Well, we got undressed and rubbed together, but then I stopped.'
The priest said, 'Rubbing together is the same as putting it in.
You're not to see that woman again.
For your penance, say five Hail Mary's and put $50 in the poor box '
The man left the confessional, said his prayers, and then walked over to the poor box.
He paused for a moment and then started to leave.
The priest, who was watching, quickly ran over to him saying,
'I saw that.You didn't put any money in the poor box!'
The man replied, 'Yeah, but I rubbed the $50 on the box,
and according to you, that's the same as putting it in!'
MissTottenham said...
Hiya Ergo, how's you's?
Yeah Wendy, our families have always been close, now we are closer then ever.
Anon616 said...
LOL!!!!! I bet that priest changed his mind real quick!
MissTottenham said...
misst hope you have a lovely visit with the new little arrival tomorrow, bet his namesake will be watching over him too
~
here is an alleged real school answering machine message, I know it isn't and must be doing the rounds as in Aust we don't have "school lunches" and it was supposedly from an aussie school
but it is funny none the less and an unfortunate reflection on the worst parents we have to deal with...
Hello! You have reached the automated answering service of your school.
In order to assist you in connecting to the right staff member, please listen
to all the options before making a selection:
To lie about why your child is absent - Press 1
To make excuses for why your child did not do his work - Press 2
To complain about what we do - Press 3
To swear at staff members - Press 4
To ask why you didn't get information that was already enclosed in your
newsletter and several flyers mailed to you - Press 5
If you want us to raise your child - Press 6
If you want to reach out and touch, slap or hit someone - Press 7
To request another teacher, for the third time this year - Press 8
To complain about bus transportation - Press 9
To complain about school lunches - Press 0
If you realise this is the real world and your child must be accountable and responsible for his/her own behaviour, class work, homework and that it's not the teachers' fault for your child's lack of effort: Hang up and
have a nice day!
She also didn't have to be nasty to Kapu in the first place. She didn't have to say anything to her at all. Let her mourn in her own way, in peace. She could have minded her business.
And while she was kicking someone when they were down you were cheering her on. As always.....
9.16 what business is it of yours. You keep telling me I should have minded my own business. What about you and the other anons. Who don't know what you are talking about.
Why don't you show me what a person who isn't a "piece of shit" is like instead of doing this.
Or better yet. Why don't you bring it to me personally. I have email. I have even given it out.
What is your reason for continually bring it up here.
I actually only brought it up the first time after I caught up, read all 3000 comments and saw what you did.
I brought it up because I never saw anything so disgusting on my whole time on the internet as what you did to her. It shocks you. Why couldn't you just leave her the fuck alone.
Fucking shocking and disgusting.
Anonymous said...
Anonymous said...
In fact I don't even know how you get by in real life if you are anything like that.
Anonymous said...
And it is my business because you disgraced yourself on a board on the internet. In public.
But yet if I saw someone crying over their grandma in public I would leave them the fuck alone and not add to their misery.
But if I saw someone picking on them for mourning I would say the same things I am saying to you.
toujours said...
bye martha.
i'm reading old documents on my laptop, things i transferred to my flash drive back in seattle but haven't been able to read because they are in a dead program.
let me just say: miss you, redrum.
Amyranth said...
Goodnight Martha.
Hallo and Goodnight Teej and BC!
Mayo, nice post. You put things very, very well.
Anonymous said...
Why not get yourself a life and leave her alone? It's between her and K.
Martha Smith-Jones said...
Hello BC didn't see yo when i posted just wanted to let you know
By the way anon if this was the real world an I was as evil and as graceful as you thought I would be doing just fine. I wold be rolling around in a big pile of money.
If you had really read all 3000 comment you would have seen my email address and you could have brought it to me.
And not bother all the other people here.
Why not take it to my email?
Amyranth said...
MIRA!
You didn't hurt me! Ergo started it! That video is gross and that's all I think of whenever I hear, PED-EGG.
>O
Anonymous said...
Because emailing you doesn't allow for K to look so damn persecuted?
Anonymous said...
Because YOU said it in public.
And how would acting DISgraceful (not graceful because you are not) automatically make you rich? You make no sense.
If I saw you acting so cruel so someone who was mourning, in public I would also call you out in public instead of going to your house. You shit in the blog, you should have to roll in it.
Anonymous said...
Besides do you magically turn into a good person in email.... I don't think so.
Anonymous said...
You would call her out on it in public... all anonymous like? Balls, please.
Anonymous said...
What good would it be giving you my name, no one knows me, what should I be afraid of, that you are going to come to my house?
And why dont' you tell us your name if you are interested in "balls".
