Drill Bit
Tuesday I hear it’s going around;
I’m off...again, knuckled white.
Wednesday I will talk myself into
Round about routes to denial.
If I say it, then it won’t come true.
And, I find comfortable restraint; bound to
Repeating it over and over and over. And again,
It feels better that way, medicated meditation.
Then Thursday everything is white. I eat
From a bland full service spectrum buffet,
Plated and nothing touches.
I won’t even sip from her cup.
By Friday I am unable to tolerate human contact.
And, I count back to the last
In order to find spared time. I’ll be free-
On Saturday what is in the air will kill me.
So, I hold my breath between rooms. Suffocated,
Sunday I become completely restricted.
I will not accept from anyone, anything
That has been anywhere other than here.
Those days, they wear me hard
And to the end, so I have become
Exhausted from the fight. I finally sleep.
Then Monday brings me back, slightly.
With a negligent handshake,
So that again Tuesday I am found,
Wringing dry, anticeptic hands.
I will not allow myself to open a door
I stay; refusal and restraint, withholding.
p.s. its got quite a grip.

I wonder why Wendy hasn't been around talking about her precious Saints?
From ESPN:
The New Orleans Saints were found to have operated a bounty system in which players were paid bonuses for, among other things, hard hits and deliberately injuring opposing players. The system was in place from 2009 -- the season the Saints won the Super Bowl -- to 2011, and between 22 and 27 Saints players participated in the program.
On March 2, 2012, the NFL announced the findings of its investigation, saying that the players and defensive coordinator Gregg Williams pooled their money to pay out the bonuses over three seasons. The league also found that head coach Sean Payton was aware of the bounty system and, though not directly involved with it, hadn't done anything to shut it down. Saints GM Mickey Loomis had been ordered by owner Tom Benson to shut down the program, but failed to do so.
The NFL handed down punishment for the bounties on March 21, 2012. Head coach Sean Payton was suspended for one year without pay, effective April 1. GM Mickey Loomis was suspended without pay for the first eight regular-season games of 2012. Saints assistant Joe Vitt was suspended for the first six games of 2012.
Former Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams, currently with the Rams, was suspended indefinitely, effective immediately. His status will be reevaluated by commissioner Roger Goodell following the 2012 season.
In addition, the Saints franchise was fined $500,000 and docked second-round picks in the 2012 and 2013 drafts. The league has not yet announced any disciplinary action against the players involved.
The Saints appealed the suspensions of Payton, Loomis and Vitt, but the NFL upheld the suspensions. The appeal delayed the start of Payton's suspension from April 1 to April 16.
Paying players to willfully injure star players from opposing teams. Unbelievable. Sounds like the sort of thing the "lovelies" would consider awesome though.
Good morning!
WHO DAT?
Hmm, I wonder what happened to Bleeding Chaos (or whatever name she goes by these days)?

Consumed by her own stupidity maybe?

Hi PP, cool that NZ is doing a best job ever as well, the guy who won the Aust one has done some amazing stuff, and tourism interest has increased as a result of his blogging.

Yep, Ergo. You Aussies came up with a corker of an idea! The guys here admitted they liked your Hamilton Island idea but couldn't be bothered doing it for a year lol. Lazy bum cheapskates. =)
Hi, 7.27am.
No. I'm a rubbish NZer. I knew of them; I'd seen their performances on telly; but FOTC was originally kind of a side project for them down here, so most NZers used to go, "Oh yeah, those two".
But as individuals, Jermaine used to write and be on most comedy shows on NZ telly. He was the more high profile comic one of the pair.
Brett, was the muso. I did see him perform live when he was songwriter/keyboardist with The Black Seeds. TBS - So True . He also performed as The Video Kid and you probably know he appeared in the LOTR films as FIGWIT.
But the two together? No, not yet. Maybe this year as they're going to play some bigger venues here for the first time. Business Time still brings on the lols. Have you seen them? =)
Oh, jeez. Rambling again!
Hope you all had a good weekend. =)
Just Win Baby!

Hey PP, I love FOTC, they are touring OZ but only state capitals and not all of them even. I remember seeing them when they first started their act years ago on a telecast of I think the Melbourne Comedy Festival? They've got such a way with their songs, so funny I love Tripod for the same reason, you've seen them? They're a musical parody group as well.
Must say too, Murray is a gem in the FOTC tv show. I think Rhys Darby is hilarious, he was just on Adam Hills show last week with his new book, I'm going to have to look for it to read, sounds really funny.
