Drill Bit
Tuesday I hear it’s going around;
I’m off...again, knuckled white.
Wednesday I will talk myself into
Round about routes to denial.
If I say it, then it won’t come true.
And, I find comfortable restraint; bound to
Repeating it over and over and over. And again,
It feels better that way, medicated meditation.
Then Thursday everything is white. I eat
From a bland full service spectrum buffet,
Plated and nothing touches.
I won’t even sip from her cup.
By Friday I am unable to tolerate human contact.
And, I count back to the last
In order to find spared time. I’ll be free-
On Saturday what is in the air will kill me.
So, I hold my breath between rooms. Suffocated,
Sunday I become completely restricted.
I will not accept from anyone, anything
That has been anywhere other than here.
Those days, they wear me hard
And to the end, so I have become
Exhausted from the fight. I finally sleep.
Then Monday brings me back, slightly.
With a negligent handshake,
So that again Tuesday I am found,
Wringing dry, anticeptic hands.
I will not allow myself to open a door
I stay; refusal and restraint, withholding.
p.s. its got quite a grip.

4.04, what do you think they have planned? Can you tell the rest of us?
4:10 how would you know unless you WERE ONE OF THEM. Unless you were the people who RUN that blog. How would you know?
It appears the latest step in the plan has been put into action. I have to say it does not surprise me.
WTF? A plan? An action? LMFAO!!!
How would you know that it was 4:11?
I'm not the one who said it was. But I think the person who did, SAW it there.
Really saw it. Not the way that Smoke allegedly "SAW" the comment from the OPs. You know the one that linked back to their PROFIE.
If you KNOW the word cunt was never on the Porchies blog then you are obviously one of them.
Why don't you just sign in Smoke. Or should I say Princess.
Tell me, if you are the Princess.... who is the Queen?

Then they should be able to furnish proof 4:20. Or how about lets ask misst?

I know I'm lucky to be an American.
I still believe in the freedom of speech. Do you?
The USA traipses all over the world and then wonders why other countries have issues with us when we are invading their space. What is wrong with this picture?
I love America, but I question it's government and their actions.

And someone here hopes you and yours rot in hell for eternity.

Anyone can go read that blog anon.
And someone here hopes you and yours rot in hell for eternity.
March 9, 2009 4:28 PM
It sounds like you are already half way there.
The OPS were wounded very badly by that set up. I'm sure they want it forgotten. Why keep picking at that wound? They were hurt. They were hunted. I'm sure they want to forget about it.
And someone here hopes you and yours rot in hell for eternity.
Way below the belt. Jenn has the balls to say things signed in. You don't. How do you sleep at night with such an evil mind?
Anon, ask away. What do you want to know?
Hello Mayo, MissT, various anons! Ohhhh... SS too!
Now 4:28, you aren't still trying to convince people that my "rant" had anything to do with any anti american government statements, are you?
I've said it before, and I'll say it again. That comment was to this Karen anon who popped up out of (apparently) nowhere that day to say I was being emotionally manipulative for talking about my brother.
Please, stop misrepresenting what I said on that fateful morning! Thank you!
I'm also not going to apologize again. As a very gracious anon reminded me the last time I did apologize, I had done so more than enough. If you would like to reread that apology, you my go to my profile. It's in the comments on my "shades and pieces" of me blog. Thank you again!
Hi MissT!!!!!
*pounce tackle hug smooch*
How are you? I've missed you. You're correct. We do have to start planning that trip down the Nile. But first, we must pillage and plunder! Your gorgeous building must be getting lonely!
Thanks for your words about Mrs. B. She was a lovely, lovely lady. She worked with mentally handicapped childern for over 30 years. She will be missed.
MissT! I think you are absolutely correct. I'm not the only one who has used the words "go to hell" or some such variation of those words.
Not that that is an excuse. It is not! It's simply an observation.
I forgot to ask, have you taken your second test yet? If so, how did you do?
The OPs were deeply wounded by that whole fiasco when they were set up (PROFIE) but you don't see them bringing it up constantly in order to make the responsible people (Fimble and probably smoke) look bad. Do you? No.
Why?
Because the OPS have class.
Actually it wasn't "go to hell" it was "may you and yours rot in hell for ever".
Which is better, you are allowed to think that way and obviously you were very upset.
Hello 4:58! How are you? I think we've lost MissT. I haz a sad now!
but you don't see them bringing it up constantly in order to make the responsible people (Fimble and probably smoke) look bad. Do you? No.

March 9, 2009 4:58 PM
You apparently don't because you bring it up agan and again.
4:59 ~ I do believe you got the proper variation of those words. Thanks for getting quote right! Thanks also for being understanding and forgiving!
Well I understand being upset. Karen was bothering you. I think sometimes you have to show people your toughness this way they respect you. I think she learned her lesson, that you are not weak, and NOT to mess around with you.
5:00 ~ Why don't you show us how much class you have? Will you say something classy like for us? Please! A french accent always helps.
Well I understand being upset. Karen was bothering you. I think sometimes you have to show people your toughness this way they respect you. I think she learned her lesson, that you are not weak, and NOT to mess around with you.
If anything it proved the opposite.
I'm here Wendy, just recovering from your huge hugging.
*squeezes back*
How are you sweetie. Oh man, how I could lose myself in a dream of the Nile. not happening with my non existant cash flow.
Also gotta agree with your feelings about the finnish people (read elsewhere). How much do I love Finnish F1 drivers. Kimi is gonna walk it this year.
5:00 ~ Why don't you show us how much class you have? Will you say something classy like for us? Please! A french accent always helps.
Says in french accent,may you and yours rot in hell for ever".
Got the second test in may Wendy sweetie.
I was just figuring out how to answer you on that hotmail network thingy. That's where I'd popped off to hahah!

So they clearly aren't 'strong women' as you say. They are the worst for playing the victim to gain sympathy from Mayo and SS.
good morning
I have a full day of work today so I can't hang about long
Hi missT yep the cyclone is past us and though still menacing not doing anything but lurking off the coast at the moment. They are expecting it to weaken further and if it makes landfall that way it'll just be a lot of wind and rain which is a lot better than it would have 2 days ago
HI wendy
Jen it's sad about your friends father, he actions made him a person I assume very few felt close to, but her grace in helping him has allowed them to find a new relationship at the end
and it always concerns me when people continually quote their "right" to do something with no thought as to any responsibilities that go along with it.You cannot have one without exercising the other.
Perpetuating anything by using incidents from the past to justify further actions is never logical, nor any valid type of excuse.
Sunday, then threw obstacles in the water as it tried to leave.
In an odd twist, the unarmed Impeccable, which is operated for the Navy by civilian mariners, turned fire hoses on one vessel that came within 50 feet of it. The Chinese crew stripped to their underwear, then closed to within 25 feet.
A Pentagon spokesman called that "immature" and said the Chinese behaved recklessly and in violation of international law.
"We view these as unprofessional maneuvers," spokesman Bryan Whitman said.
"We're going to continue to operate in those international waters, and we expect the Chinese to observe international law around that," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said.
THAT is the American spirit. To fight back. If someone pushes you over the edge you DON'T back down. I think that is exactly what Wendy demonstrated. I think it showed strength.
hey missT I don't know how that hotmail thingy works either, I haven't even checked mine since last time, I'll look tomorrow
5:04 ~ I'm a lot stronger than I look. I always have been! I try to give proper warning. I really do! Just check out my myspace headline "It's me, woof woof, and I bite back". Hell yeah I do!
I can be a real bitch at times. Spitting out some of that (previously mentioned) 6 percent venom. Pure poison it can be. Sometimes people just won't listen!
Oh well, what can you do other than own up to your own bad behavior when it does happen.
Hi Miss T and Wendy and Nice Anons!
I have to go to the pub with a friend so I can't stay.
But I did want to answer Amy about why people are trying to make the place unpleasant for others. Selfishness. My friend Cleo is always talking about how selfish people are and I am always making excuses for them. This case would illustrate her point admirably, I am afraid.
I know our culture validates selfishness these days. In fact it rewards those that step on others, as if they were stronger, better people, but that idiocy doesn't make this ok, here or anywhere else.
Oh and about the c*** word. I don't like it as I see it as a gesture of disrespect. I allow no one to disrespect me. I try my best not to disrespect others in turn. Apologies however are welcome, and valid, in my opinion. I guess its a cultural thing.
Anyway, two cents! Please disregard if not applicable.
Ergo - I am glad you're ok! :) I was worried there for a while.
PS - Shamrock shakes are now available. Makes me very happy! :)
PPS - MissT - I get what you meant about nuclear weapons. I agree that no one should have them, however something about a nation that views each man as worth two women or women half as worthy as men (whichever way you want to look at it) having these weapons is scarier than the others, though I may be biased, being female. *wry grin* This is according to the Iranian women who was blinded by acid being thrown in her face.
Ok gotta go!
Have a good day, everyone!
Wear the bitchness proudly! It can get you through the hard times! And it can teach others their place so they don't bother you.
Hi Ergo!!!!
*smoooooooooch*
The falcon is a few days into his trip now. I hope he isn't delayed by Hamish!
MissT: I think you're right about Jenn's friend. She found the strength not only to care for an abusive father but also to forgive him. That really is amazing!
Hi Miranth!!
good to see you!
take care!!!
Hiya Ergo sweetie. So glad that you aren't in danger anymore. I hope it doesn't do anymore damage elsewhere though.
Hiya Miranth sweetie. I hope you have a nice time at the pub. Don't have too many *hiccup* hee hee!
Yeah Wendy, I hope it brought her peace in the end.
Shame we can't have peace on the blog.
There are lots of people who have said things that others have disagreed with. I am not in nature an argumentative person but I have said stuff here others don't agree with.
BUT bringing up old arguments all the time just dargs down the blog when people could be having fun instead.
Let it go people, all of it.
LOL Wendy, that last comment wasn't aimed at you hahaha!
I just realised how it read.
There should have been a gap after the first two lines.
It was aimed at the people dredging up arguments all the time.
Miranth is here too!!!! YAY!!!!
*pounces on, tackles, hugs and kisses Miranth*
Are you staying awhile or do you have to run off?
I agree with the selfishness statements (as with the "c" word statements as I've stated before. I don't find the word offensive.)
Perhaps that stems from my introduction to the word. That introduction came by way of one of my favorite poets, Charles Bukowski.
I do understand, now, that others find the word highly offensive. I shall refrain from using the word in the future.
*exception to rule will be when posting a Bukowski poem (or any other poets' poetry or writers' words).
Speaking of Bukowski, I haven't posted one of his poems in a long time. Would anyone like to read one?
I know MissT!!!
;)
Don't worry, I didn't take the wrong way. You are safe from my poisonous venom... for now!
*wicked laugh*
Do you know where your rubber duckie is MissT? Huh? Do you?
*big wink*
that's the concern missT but they are predicting it'll stay offshore so far
wendy the winds should be of assistance to the falcon now, they are swinging the right way!
*screams*
ARGH! RUBBER DUCKIE WHERE ARE YOU?
*looks around frantically*
*pokes head in*
Is it safe now?
Ergo: YAY! The falcon's gettin that tail...
wind!
:P
Hiya BC sweetie, how are you?
*looks at MissT and laughs wicked again*
Bwah ha ha ha ha!
Are you in the mood for some SOUP tonight, MissT? It's on the stove. Have a taste!
;)
Sweetcheeks!!!!! I think it's safe for now. How are you? Did you have a good Monday?
*snifs*
Oh no, I do smell soup
*stumbles over to the pan*
Oh no, daren't look.
Hiya miss t, how are you doing today? Eh, I'm doing okay I guess, thanks.
Hi sugarplum *blows kisses* how was your day?
I'm doing alright, not feeling up to doing anything though.
Hiya ergo
hi BC
whats that strange hot rubber smell?
Argh! don't say that Ergo.
*clasps hands over ears*

*whistles innocently*
I don't know, Ergo. I saw MissT standing by the kitchen stove hovering over a pot.
She must be cooking something!
*bats eyelashes*
*tentatively lifts lid*
No, I can't look.
Hi ergo. That's probably wendy ^_^
*note for Elena: Dang you, Elena!!! Sean had me all hot and bothered... until I opened his package. What a dissappointment!
;)
*runs into kitchen and squeeks rubber duckie behind MissT*
Gotcha!!!
It's split pea soup. We can all pretend to be possessed and scare the crap out of people!
*faints clean away*
*rises head a little and weakly mumbles Ru-bb-er du-ck-ie*
*flop*
*gone*
"Speaking of Bukowski, I haven't posted one of his poems in a long time. Would anyone like to read one?
March 9
If you're the one posting it I'm sure no one will mind. I won't mind. ^____^
:P
I have to run, for now, ladies! It's been fun (and great too) chatting for bit. I'll be back later!! You have been forewared!
*head does a 180 degree spin and green stuff flies out of mouth*
*gets all over Sweetcheeks, rubber duckie and the refrigerator*
Ooops! Sorry!
*runs out before she's asked to clean the mess*
See you later Wendy sweetie.
I knew you wouldn't harm rubber duckie. Honesly ^_^
"I didn't think she'd mind me calling her a cunt but now i know better"?? Why do I not believe that. I guess you thought it was a compliment.
have to go to work!
wish me luck I have to slam my yr 8 class to try and get them in line, they are getting very ratty
I hate having to be so strict but it has to be done
lone y'all
bye!
xx
lone = love
lol
Good luck Ergo. Have a great day.
I would go so far to say that you picked that word specifically BECAUSE you knew it's effect. After all Amy used it too when the anons were congratulating her on "putting the porchies in their place" after the fix. Calling a cunt a cunt? Yes you definitely saw how nice and happy that made everyone feel so you had NO idea that the word was offensive.
OK, use the word to hurt, but at least stand by it when you do.
Thanks a lot for the green stuff Wendy. I shall get my revenge later, lol.
Good luck Ergo :D
Speaking of rubber duckies, Miss T, what ever happened to George?
Good luck ergo!
Wendy - She's not ready and I still have things to do, but now you're gone, I think?
About the word 'cunt' I guess I don't like it used against people.
But I am pretty hardcore about the way I allow people to treat me and always hope others are the same. Particularly women - as I think we (as a group) allow people to get away with shit that is unfair.
75 cents on the dollar, anyone?
Hi BC! :) Didn't see you just there!
BC, George is alive and well and living on my bookcase. he says hello by the way.
*comes back in because someone is running late*
*gasps*
MissT? MissT?
*gets amonia out of cabinet*
MISST?????? Wake up!!!
Ohhhh... a request for Bukowski! Perhaps that will revive MissT!
*big smile*
6:53 ~ I don't believe that's what I said, now was it? Stop twisting my words. I don't appreciate it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
How Is Your Heart?
Charles Bukowski
during my worst times
on the park benches
in the jails
or living with
whores
I always had this certain
contentment-
I wouldn't call it
happiness-
it was more of an inner
balance
that settled for
whatever was occuring
and it helped in the
factories
and when relationships
went wrong
with the
girls.
it helped
through the
wars and the
hangovers
the backalley fights
the
hospitals.
to awaken in a cheap room
in a strange city and
pull up the shade-
this was the craziest kind of
contentment
and to walk across the floor
to an old dresser with a
cracked mirror-
see myself, ugly,
grinning at it all.
what matters most is
how well you
walk through the
fire.
Have fun, Ergo!!!!
*trots out the door again, feeling relieved that MissT has been revived*
*blows kisses to Sweetcheeks*
MissT - I will be good!
I will just do a small test run for St. Patrick's Day :D
wha wha wha?
*looks around grogily*
I'll live Wendy hee hee!
Hi miranth! Good to see you. Are you feeling better?
That's great miss t. Please say hello to george for me :)
Hahahaha yeah Miranth, you need to get the practice in if you are gonna get it right on the day.
Of course I will BC, he loves you loads.
Ooops, meant 5:53!
*blows kisses to Miranth too*
*shall have to keep a close eye on BC tonight*
See you ladies later!
See you later Wendy.
Yes, Thank you, BC. I am feeling much better. :) How is school?
MissT - Yes, I must practice :) especially as regards pacing. The parade is Sun. and the actual day is Tues. That's a lot of drinking for those that aren't professional! :)
Hahahahaha yeah Miranth. You don't wanna end up looking like an ameteur.
amateur I meant duh!
Wendy - As I've said before though - I do call men bitch pretty often. It helps re-contextualize the word, so I understand about your Bukowski introduction.
And I forgot to give a *pounce* *tackle* and *hug* in return!
:) Take care :)
MissT - Amateur, indeed! I have found that having a glass of water in between drinks helps immeasurably.
I highly recommend that tactic. It helps keep you hydrated, too!
School is doing okay miranth, thanks. I have a test on Thursday, then next week I start spring break already.
BC - I am glad its going ok, but don't forget to study! Spring Break was always most welcome when it arrived, as I recall.
Its also good that it coincides with St. Patrick's Day festivities. ;)
Do you have any plans for break?
I've gotta go now, but I will check back to read your answer.
Have a great one MissT and BC. It was good to chat.
Wendy - Sorry I kept missing you! :(
See you later miranth.
Spring break plans- I'm not sure yet.
See you later Miranth sweetie.
Bye and thanks. It feels good to be here :)
BC - Decisions, decisions! I just hope you have fun whatever you decide. Don't forget! :) *HuGS*
PS - When I call men bitch, I do it in an inclusive manner, not as an attack. And they can't argue back! It soooo funny! They end up laughing. :D
Well, goodnight blog.
xxxxx
*wanders in the front door*
I'M HOOOOME!!
*sniffs around in the kitchen*
*comes out with a hot fudge sundae, with whipped topping, nuts, and several oreo cookies for spoons*
By the way Mayo, love the new Ice Cream Machine.
Hallo amy, what cha up to?
Goodnight miss t(Says two hours later lol)
*stretches and oreos a glob of yum into her mouth*
Not much BC, just winding down my day. How about you?
That's cool amy. I'm working on my myspace profile, adding some backgrounds and stuff. I love it so far.
This is what I mean. It's beautiful here now.
*sighs, gets comfortable*
This blog now feels RIGHT.
I actually picture all of us coming into a room together. Talking. being respectful. Kind. No one ignoring. No one posting things to purposely annoy someone else.
Just friends, talking. Being friends.
I visualized the others leaving and the door clicking behind them. If you visualize something enough you can make it happen.
BC, that sounds pretty cool. The most coding I've ever done was for my LJ, and it's not really that good. But hey, at least I tried, right?
But I think I'm gonna take off. I have early shifts all week unfortunately, I should get some real sleep I suppose.
Have a good night BC!
Goodnight everyone!
ok goodnight amy sweet dreams
my sister sent me some jokes today. these were my favorites:
a dyslexic man walked into a bra.
what do you call a fish with no eyes? a fsh.
mahatma gandhi, as you know, walked barefoot most of the time, which produced an impressive set of calluses on his feet. he also ate very little, which made him very frail, and with his odd diet, he suffered from bad breath. this made him...(wait for it)...a super-calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis.
*heehee*
Yeah, some good visualization there, with the clicking door. Like the silence?
i haven't gone anywhere.
Mayo
So did you enjoy your night of camping? Hope ya rested up because your vacation is gonna keep you bopping all over the country. Yep, last night it was camping in Colorado but your next stop will find you admiring the largest ball of twine ever built by a community. Yes Mayo you are in Kansas. Cawker City Kansas to be exact. There you will be able to view the huge ball that was started by Frank Stoeber and it is still growing. The town actually has a Twine-a-thon every August. Never say we Kansans don’t know to have a fun time. Now when you’re in Cawker City make sure to dress accordingly. Jeans and a tee will do just fine. Make sure to stop by the United Methodist Church to see the oldest church organ in Kansas. It was built in 1886 and is really very lovely. Then how about a boat ride on Lake Waconda? Maybe get in a little fishing? Okay I’m trying to imagine you fishing. The idea of you wearing one of those hats adorned with fishing lures is kinda cute. In a very weird way.
Make sure to pick up souvenirs. Might I suggest tee shirts? Kansas as some great slogans. My fave is probably – “Kansas Land of Ah’s” Cute word play on The Wizard of Oz Kansas connection, right? Well let me tell you as a native Kansan we think of it in a totally different way. Kansas Land of Ah’s – Ah shit it’s hot. Ah shit it’s cold. Yeah that’s really how it is.
Oh and one more thing. I was telling my friend Fred about your vacation spot from last night and how it would be really great to have photos. She decided to do an artist’s rendition of your camping experience. So here it is…..
Mountain Man Mayo
Did I mention Fred isn’t an artist? And I’m really not sure how that bear coming towards you entered the picture, wait, knowing Fred I know why that bear is there. LOL
So hope you are enjoying your vacation. Not sure where you’ll go next but I promise it will be exciting. Just like the ball of twine viewing.
Take care. Have fun.
Night Mayo
Elena
Silence is not a bad thing. It's better than the poetry and certain people being ignored, quotes posted just to offend Amyranth etc etc etc.....
Silence is better than NOISE so yes, we don't mind the sound of the door clicking. As long as it is the right people "walking away" and "closing it".
very cute drawing, elena! tell fred i think it ought to be in a gallery.
or at least, on a refrigerator. :)
night Mya.
i need to be going to bed. *sigh*
good night blog.
11:37,
I think silence sucks. It's good to have it sometimes, but if it's like that most of the time, I wouldn't want it.
I can't even stand it most of the time in my house. I have to leave the radio or TV on.
mayo,
the thing that's foremost on my mind tonight i don't really feel like putting here, for which i apologize. it's stating the obvious to say blogbelieve isn't entirely a safe space anymore.
but it's still a treasured space, it's still a pleasure to once again sit down each night and turn my thoughts to this little letter to you -- even when i don't have much to say in it.
i'm feeling a little lonely tonight, feeling a little sad -- but i don't really want to talk about that, either. tomorrow i'll get up and the day will unfold and the good thing about having a job is that it occupies the mind as well as hands. the day goes by quickly.
i can't do anything about how i feel except go through it, and leave each upcoming day as free from expectations as i can make it, because anything might happen.
you need to leave room for magic.
that's what i believe, anyway.
this morning when i woke up, the moon was just setting, and the opposite horizon was just beginning to take on a tinge of pink light. i was balanced between the two, night and morning.
i love quiet mornings. i don't like to talk to people before i expect to. i don't like to share the quiet.
i look at the sky while the coffee brews, then make breakfast. sometimes i read, sometimes i watch music videos turned down low. i wake early enough so that i can do all my morning preparations at a leisurely pace, even though it means sacrificing some sleep.
and when the sun rises, i'm ready to be that chatty friendly person.
but the quiet morning stays with me, within me.
good night, mayo. may your sleep be deep and lustrous, and may your morning be nurturing.
goodnight tj, elena
Hi BC
have I missed everyone else?
damn looks like I even missed BC now I see the time
Hiya ergo, if you're still around. I'm gonna have to sign off for the night. Gonna wake up early to get breakfast before I head off for school. Just not liking the chance for strong thunderstorms. Oh well.
Goodnight to anyone here. goodnight ergo.
Goodnight Mayo, SS, Ergo, Sweetcheeks, Elena, Amy, TJ, anons, lurkers and watchers!
Sweet dreams to one and all!
Seriously I need to be in bed and really that's where I'm headed but I just wanted to stop in one more time to say goodnight to everyone here.
It is always darkest before the dawn. Why that line is in my head I really have no idea. Okay maybe I do. But I believe it. Tomorrow will dawn, and things will look so much better than now. I believe this, I HAVE to believe this. If not, I'd never crawl out of bed.
Goodnight TJ, Any, BC, Ergo and anyone else who roams these halls.
Love you all.
Dalai Lama blasts 'brutal crackdown' in Tibet
By GAVIN RABINOWITZ, Associated Press Writer
DHARMSALA, India – Chinese rule in Tibet has created a "hell on earth" that has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tibetans, the Dalai Lama said Tuesday in a speech to mark the 50th anniversary of the failed uprising that sent him into exile.
Speaking to thousands of supporters, the Tibetan spiritual leader said Chinese martial law, and hard-line policies such as the Cultural Revolution, had devastated the Himalayan region.
"These thrust Tibetans into such depths of suffering and hardship that they literally experienced hell on earth," he said in this Indian hill town, where he and the self-proclaimed government-in-exile have been based since shortly after fleeing their homeland. "The immediate result of these campaigns was the deaths of hundreds of thousands of Tibetans."
Tibetan culture and identity are "nearing extinction," he told about 2,000 people, including Buddhist monks, Tibetan schoolchildren and a handful of foreign supporters. The group gathered in a courtyard that separates the Dalai Lama's home from the town's main temple, and monks blowing enormous conch shells and long brass horns heralded his arrival.
Mayo
once again I have gotten distracted and not chosen a song for you, so I apologise and will make a really interesting choice tomorrow. But with all your wandering about churches gazing at old organs *snigger* and being awestruck by giant balls........of string (oh come on - someone had to say it!!) I think you may need a break, plus music tends to scare the fish away, and we sure want you to pull a big 'un. (really I'll stop now)
so "tight lines" Mayo in whatever you choose to do
much love EP xx
SS
are you vacationing as well? May I suggest tropical north Queensland, now cyclone free for 3 days!! LOL
Ah you gotta take the bad with the good.
if you don't like the sun and wish to see something different try the lava tubes. They are tubes left by lava flowing underground and you can walk through them, longest flow in the world, just let me know when you're going, I haven't made it up there yet so we'll meet you and we can all have a look together! (plus there is no giant ball of string, but we do have a big mango, big pineapple, big cow, big banana, big worm.....they're a weird mob.)
lotsa love EP xx
goodnigth blogbelieve see you in my morning
hi to fasc and sdock and smoke if you call by
enjoy tuesday!
and all else who pass through
As I read through yesterday’s comments, I realized a few things.
1. thank you to those who commented about my best friends father. Seems like a lot of death is going around these days.
2. thank you to the anon who posted more China/US info for me. More information certainly cannot hurt.
Which leads me to 3. my life is hard enough without me stressing about what is constantly going on here. I find it more and more difficult to hold a conversation here with people that do not lead to an anonymous spewing “cunt” or “may you and yours rot in hell forever” whether it’s directed towards me or somebody else. I find it sad that this place has turned into something like that. Different thoughts, ideas, and beliefs were once welcomed. Fun was welcomed. I know all about “The Fix.” It still doesn’t make it right.
4. Call me what you want. Say whatever you want. If it makes you feel better about yourself in calling me a name, have at it Hoss. Your words do not degrade me. You degrade yourself.
5. (my favorite number) Thank you Mayo for the space you’ve allowed for me. Thank you for sharing your words and humoring my attempts at deciphering them. You’ve opened my mind and my heart and helped me see things in a whole different light – which is always a good thing.
Somayitbe.
"I find it more and more difficult to hold a conversation here with people that do not lead to an anonymous spewing “cunt” or “may you and yours rot in hell forever”"
It wasn't an anonymous that said those things.
It was an anonymous who said those things to Jennicula yesterday. I didn't see anybody call her a cunt. They could have been trying for snark and
dare I say
EPIC FAIL.
Bringing up things that have already been apologized for.
EPIC FAIL.
That was for 9.59 and the snarky anons yesteday
The Selfish Crows
Once upon a time, there was a very big forest. There on a huge banyan tree lived many crows. They were selfish and arrogant. They always quarreled with other birds. This behavior irritated other birds. They had no friends, as no one liked them.
When the rainy season came, dark clouds gathered in the sky. A small mynah was returning to her nest. When she was passing by the banyan tree, it started raining. “I will stay here for a while until it stops raining,” thought the little mynah. And I took rest on the banyan tree for a while.
The selfish crows saw her perching on the tree. One of them shouted, “Get off the tree. This tree belongs to us.” The mynah humbly pleaded, “The weather is bad and my nest is far off from this forest. Please let me take a rest for a while on this tree, brother. As soon as it stops raining, I will return to my nest.”
“Leave this banyan tree at once. Or we will peck you,” said the other crows. The merciless tendency of the selfish crows scared the mynah. The mynah found no other way except to fly off. Then immediately the mynah flew off to a nearby tree, where luckily she found a hollow in a broken branch. She took her shelter there.
Shortly after, the rain became heavy followed by thunderstorm. The wind was in high speed. Even the leaves and branches were not enough to give shelter to the crows. Many of the branches of many tree in which the crows had taken shelter were damaged and hurt by the hailstones. But the mynah was safe inside the hollow place in the tree.
One of the crows said, “Look at the mynah! How comfortable she is. Let us go there.” Another crow said, “I do not think she will let us share the hollow. We did not have sympathy for her when she was in need of this tree.” Then another crow said, “We should not have been so rude. We forgot that we may need help someday.”
Suddenly the mynah called out, “Come! My friends! Come to this hollow. Or you will get hurt. The rain is not going to stop soon. It seems that it may rain for a long time”
The crows flew down to the hollow. They thanked the mynah. “We are sorry for having unkind, dear friend! Now we will never be so selfish.”
Then the crows took shelter in the hollow place of the tree in which the mynah had taken her shelter. After some time, it stopped raining. All the birds flew to their respective nests happily as new friends.
Hiya SS!
Have you been inspired?
A few weeks ago I was talking to a friend of mine who told me that he was feeling pressured to modify is behavior. In particular, his use of profanity was called into question. He went on to tell me that his superiors consider particular words and phrases to be offensive.
So, he was asked, and then ordered, to suppress his usage of the following words: fuck, motherfucker, cocksucker, cunt, prick, bastard, jackass, asshole, shit, damn, fuck-head, and ass-fuck, and phrases such as: shut the fuck up fuck-wit, fuck you, motherfucking ass licking jerk off, ass wipe fuck puppet, shit for brains, no good motherfucking son-of-a-bitch cocksucker.
Your friend should come work with me. We encourage that kind of talk at my job.
How are you, Mayo?
He refused restraint.
Sissy.
Anyways Mayo, you know what my favorite one is? "Assheaded rodeo clown." My other best ones are "pelvis-climbing whorebag," "cum-guzzling guttersnipe," and "lech-hearted hose-hound."
Sorry Mom. But you know you think that's funny, too.
A ski joke, Amy? Share it!
RW, do you get the same kind of err, "release" at your job too? I seem to remember that kind of thing from the theater back when I was an annoying theater brat.
It's the only way to unwind during a day that sucks more than a whore at a penis party.
When did the "c" word start offending her and other bloggers? It didn't when Mayo used it. It didnt when Quinn used it in October at The Used blog. Just askin.
I'm selfish crows anon and I'm not SS or Mayo either.
