Nothing provokes me like someone trying to tell me what I can or can’t do. And I am not talking about “Eat your vegetables”, “Take out the trash”, "Don't run a red light", "Don't steal shit", or "Don't stick a knife in someone" (well maybe the red light thing, once). That stuff is important and I get that. What I mean is when someone is attempting to assert control over me, primarily for their own gains or because they consider my actions irrelevant, then I am full-on instigated.
In fact, I can be a bit immature when confronted with authority. A holdover from adolescence, I presume. For the most part, because I am an adult I am able to identify when the limitations being placed on me are legitimate and necessary. And I bite my tongue.
But, nothing pleases me more than to shove it in the face of whatever or whoever attempts to assert unnecessary control over me. Tell me I’m too old to do something, to act a certain way, then you can bet I’ll be first in line. Tell me what I say is irrelevant and I’ll carry on until I find an ear. Attempt to limit my behavior because you don’t consider me worthy and I’ll increase my efforts until you are red faced.
What amazes me is that they (those attempting control) do not understand that their assertions invariably expose their hot buttons. See, now I know what pisses you off and I can be an asshole, so there you go. But, like I said, I can be a bit immature.
Also, I find it unnecessary for someone to belittle a person because their opinion does not run parallel to their own. Typically, name calling will get you nowhere. We are each entitled to our own beliefs, and our opinions will undoubtedly run counter to other's. And if I don't agree, I'll let you know. I'll give you my point of view and perhaps some facts that I may have squirreled away for the occasion to back it up.
Usually this works and we can agree to disagree. But, if you are maliciously handing me my head over and over about whatever burns your ass, then I will most likely ignore you.
That works in two ways. First, I don't hear you any longer. I can continue my life knowing that I made an attempt to express my opinion. And hopefully you now realize you are not going to change mine. Second, I don't hear you any longer.
Then later, under my breath, I'll call you an idiot. And let's face it, if after all that you still think you can change my opinion...well now, we don't need to go there. Just for the record, I won't try to change yours, either. Your opinion, that is.
With all that being said, (and feel free to ignore any of it) please keep in mind that I am a bit of a smart ass. And I have been known to dish out a good natured hard-time. If you poke me, I'll poke you back...sometimes I poke first.
I think I read somewhere something along the lines of...we need to be able to best deal with those things that impact us emotionally, and we need to handle them ourselves. As individuals the decisions we make are what we can control. The rest is up to the rest.
p.s. ask yourself.

Gnothi, make sure you wangle in the old "And for god's sake, I don't need a spa treatment, with full massage and manicure! Never!"
No, I really don't want her to book it. I've just always wanted to stay at this particular hotel and she's latched onto it.
And I'm not a manicure kind of girl. Sorry :\
Amy/Anima - what constitutes pub food in America/ Canada?
No bands tonight. We still have yet to expand to the next door space, and then we can do it all the time. Right now we have a small space were we have open mic or small band play during the week.
Gnothi, I'm glad you asked. There's two types of pubs here. There's the Bar/Pub which isn't really like a pub at all, and there's the Pub/Pub, which is what I imagine a real English Pub is like.
But they usually serve wings, chips and gravy, beef dips, beef wellingtons, mini yorkies with au jus, shepherd's pie, steak and kidneys, bangers and mash..
Lots of Pub/Pubs try to emulate the English pub as much as possible, and it's mucho apprecianado.
4 customers.
GS, I'll see if I can explain in a momento.
On the odd occasion I go into town, this is my local
There should be a page to tell you the lunch menu!
Your pub/pub meals sound very authentic ^_^
This is the interior of one of our favorite summer Pubs, Gnothi.
Gnothi, that place looks really nice!
Mister just said that maybe we should go there for St Patrick's Day. :P
Wow, now there's posh!!
And you should definitely go there with a name like Fionn Maccool! Me's thinking it's a wee bit Irish?
Lobster? LOBSTER!
Blimey. Put's the old bangers and mash to shame ^_^
A wee bit!
There are quite a few Irish pubs in Calgary, but there's a handful of English ones, and a few Scottish ones.
Either way, I prefer the pub type atmosphere to the bars.
Either way, I prefer the pub type atmosphere to the bars.
^_^
They are more homely.
The Ship has log fires in winter. 'Tis cosy.
Ooooh A log fire..
A couple of places here have massive central fireplaces, they're awesome in the winter time, and people jockey to get the tables closest to the center.
Do any of the pubs over your way have outdoor patios? Or is it mostly indoor drinking?
Depends really. The majority are techically indoor based but I would say 75% of all pubs, whether out in the countryside or town based, will have some form of ' pub garden '.
Be it a slabbed patio, a patio with plant tubs or the full grass, flower beds and babbling brook variety, they will all be used for outside drinking.
Whatever the weather.
I think I'm going to run and take my afternoon walk to the store. We're having Shepherd's Pie for supper, and I need veggies.
Gnothi, nice to chat with you again!
Anima, see you around later!
Same here Amy ^_^ Speak to you soon.
We've got Cottage Pie for tea tomorrow!
gnothi why do you come here so rarely
Time restrictions mainly, Anon.
This time last year I was nearly killing myself to stay up and have conversations ( the time difference ).
And sometimes it makes me too sad to be here. I'm sure I don't need to elaborate.
It's nearly 11 here, time to call it a day.
Nice to speak to you again Amy and Anima.
Sorry I didn't get to talk to you Elena.
Goodbye Anon.
Good night All.
Good night Mayo.

good morning!!!
goodnight ad well done gnothi!!!
I did wake up in a cold sweat before!! lol
hi anima, anon
see you soon amy
Hallo Ergo!
My walk was short. The streets are starting to get waterlogged.
oh hiya Amy!
you're well apart from soggy feet?
spare a thought for over here, north of us has major flooding, and the south of the country has heatwave, and bushfires, last night they had 100km/h winds and some towns were incinerated, over 100 homes gone, 25 confirmed dead and maybe up to 40. It is just horrific. Watching it on the news this morning just speechless
I saw about the bushfires. So sad when you think of your end having so much water, and at the other end of the country there's nothing but fire.
I know I wish there was some way of sending it down
They're having a really hard time containing them I guess?
they sure are, there are too many fires and some are deliberate which just astonishes me, that people would do it on purpose.
The winds are so strong too they are moving really fast and the crews can't get there quick enough
They are using those water bombing helicopters
they say it's probably the worst fires ever
for 2 24 pm
I'm off to abirthday party , might be back later

It's VROOOM-VROOOM-VROOOM time, Mayo! YAY! Whoop! Whoop!

OOOPS!
Hello Mayo, SS, Ergo, Amy, SmokeampVenon, everyone!!!!
Ergo: Are you off to another party? We just can't keep you home these days!
*smoooooooch*
Amy: What's new? Any new news? How did that sheperds pie turn out?
Sweetcheeks: How was your Saturday? Did you do anything exciting?
Anima: Thank you, love! It's good to see you! YAY for 3 customers! I'm sure it got much busier as the evening wore on...
GS: Good to see you too!!!! Where have you been? Whatcha been doing? Who won the text argument?
This one goes out to a very special lady ~ ERGO!!!!
LOL! I forgot Eddie Murphy sang that one!
Hugs and Love,

Hi PJ!
Oh good times. #3 of UA was waiting for me when I got home from work. Yep, I read it before doing anything else. Love it.
Ergo - I'll send your copy out on Monday.
Hello Wendy if you're still around.
Hallo Wendy~!
Haven't even started the Shepherd's Pie yet. I'm hanging out downstairs, sipping scotch and discussing philosophy and religious text with Mister and Brother.
Oh, we've brought up Scientific Theory now.
*smothers a giggle*
Hello Elena!
Hazel and Cha-Cha are pretty fucked up, aren't they?
Hello Elena!!!! *hugs*
I'm happy to hear you sounding a bit more upbeat. I hope "things" are getting better.
Amy: I want to sip some scothch! Wally World does not carry GlenLivet and they were out of Johnnie in his Black Suit (which you have to ask for at check out). Pffft!
Ohhh.... what is "brother's" philosophy of life, religious text and the big bang theory?
;)
Hey Elena and Amy. Hi and bye sugarplum! As for my Saturday, it was pretty boring, but the weather was gorgeous, so I couldn't complain.
The only thing missing is some DQ dilly bars :/
Wendy, I could record what's being said, and you still wouldn't understand. They're ranting about Primordial Stew, which I claimed to have the recipe for. That wasn't recieved well.
Hi Sweetcheeks!!!!!
*huge hug and kisses*
I'm glad to hear you had a nice (albeit somewhat boring) Saturday. You have me wanting to run out to DQ (or Frost Stop ~ a local favorite) now. I'm craving a chocolate soft serve cone!
LOL Amy!!!! Heck, you have the recipe... I wrote it!
*big wink*
I could go for one sugarplum, that's my favorite! Some of the DQ's here are so lame, they have to close shop for the season, but the one by my house is open all year round >:)
How was your day?
I had a good day, sweetcheeks! Thanks for asking!
Wally World was the usual adventure. I picked up some lovely plants and hope to get out in the yard tomorrow to start planting. The weather here has been gorgeous too!
*looks at clock*
That's it! I have to go to Frost Stop now! I'll never get that soft serve chocolate ice cream cone out of my head if I don't.
Darn you, sweetcheeks!
I'll think of you the whole time I'm licking it!
;)
I'll check back later to see what satisfied your icecream craving and what interesting theories Amy and family came up with.
Have fun ladies!!! I'll see ya'll later!
Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~
6/Wendy
PS: Goodnight (for now) Mayo, SS, Elena, Ergo, lurkers!
Goodnight sugarplum, enjoy your ice cream :)
Mayo, I am going to China.
Not this very second, but in April.
:D :D
Mayo, S(S)S, anyone else: What superheroine are you? ^_^
I was Trinity. :D SWEET!
Shoots, I linked that wrong. Hold up. here we are: What superheroine are you?
There ya go. :)
Oh, this is craziness. Five days after I come home from China, I start my job as a dance teacher.
Oh, wait, excuse me: a "recreation specialist," which I still maintain sounds like a euphemism for "ho" or something.
Amirite?
Anyway, that's going to be a crazyass month, oh my god.
I feel like someone has poked me with an ElectroMag Rod. (A tazer. But in Final Fantasy VII it was an ElectroMag Rod. Umm.)
I need to get a tattoo.
Mayo, where are you? I hope you come around soon and make another post. I know I'm not the only one who misses you.
Bitch.
(I didn't want to get too sappy.)
You can buy a child slave in China for 50 euros. It's one of the world's biggest villians in the fight for human rights. How can you think of going there and yet refuse to watch a My Chem video?
Over 1000 child slaves found and other human rights violations
Man, you really just can't deal with the fact that I don't like MCR anymore, can you, Soap Anon? It's kind of weird how you're always so on about it!
There are atrocities in every country, in every race, all throughout history. America, too.
Hey, you can like MCR if you want to. Go ahead, have fun! I think Gerard is a tool who went back on everything he ever said.
Are ya gonna get over it? Because really, this is more your problem than mine. :)
Chinese children sold like cabbages into slavery
For export around the world, China kills more than 17 million animals a year because of their fur, of which 2 millions are dogs and cats.
Four letters, Soap Anon: ACLU. America is not what I'd call a shining example of human rights either.
So, you're not going to get over me not liking MCR? And you're going to continue to compare how I feel about a stupid band with how I live the rest of my life?
Wow! You're really hung up, on me and on MCR. It's kinda weird, "anon!"
I'm not soap anon. I don't know who soap anon is.
I want to know how you explain the hypocisy of your words and actions. That's all.
You're excited about going to a country whose main export is cruelty and who will sell children for 50 euros but you deem musicians unworthy of your support because of a few incidents. I'm trying to understand. Explain your reasoning.
You're not even bothering to read the things I'm pointing out about this country, and, well, pretty much every country. You just don't want to hear it; like any fangirl, you can't reason when it comes to your idols. You just get all emotional and lash out.
I don't have to explain anything to you, Soap. Yeah, you're the same one who got on my case with the "zzOMG you boycott certain types of soap and that is your biggest decision zzzOMGzzz U MCR HATER!111"
You dislike me. It kills you that I don't like MCR. It kills you that I think your little idol there is a huge tool.
Oh well! Like I said, this is your problem and not mine.
Good night, Soap!
If by soap anon you mean Mya. Wrong. I'm not Mya. I'm not soap anon.
No real way to explain the hypocrisy so you call me weird and My Chem stupid. Not suprising.
Nope, I mean the anon who got on my case about what kind of soap I buy. Now you're just trying to start junk, which is not surprising, Soap. Because little fangirls like you just have to stir some stuff up when they know they aren't making any sense.
Besides, I explained my reasoning about three times up there and you just don't see it. I did that when I explained about the soap (and other products you got on my case about, too) as well as the maaaaaany other things you've obsessed over.
I don't like a band you like. This keeps you awake at night, doesn't it? :D
Kap, if you want to boycott all cruel countries you have to move out of America..... what are you waiting for!
It's not about me. It's not about My Chem. For once it is about you.
You can't answer so you try to turn it around. You lash out, belittle and name call.
It is slightly entertaining when she does shit like this.
I hate the anti-American things that get said around here. It's not right. If you hate it, move.
She did answer you. She said America was just as bad.
America is NOT bad.
But what else can you expect from someone so Anti American?
America is the patron saint of human rights compared to China 11:57.
Aaaactually, I feel a bit better about this country now that Obama is in office. I hope and trust that a lot of the American-sanctioned torture and violations against human rights will stop. I mean, a new president is no guarantee and he's got his work cut out for him, but it's a good start.
And, I am certainly not going to leave. My whole family is here. I'm not the kinda gal who would leave her family because she lives in a country she doesn't love. Family is more important to me.
When it comes to torture can you really "compare"?
No. Nothing about you keeps me awake at night.
Planning a trip to China
supporting a country that supports child slavery
supporting a country that supports the dog and cat fur trade
supporting a country that does nothing to stop the spread of aids and other diseases
would keep me awake.
Nite, Kapunua.
America is the patron saint of human rights compared to China 11:57
Guantanamo Bay
^Nope, I don't guess you can. :)
Welp! I'm off for the night, to read a bit before sleep. Today was a longass day at my (zOMG CHINESE!) school, and I have tomorrow off (well, not really: I have to study an awful lot) and then Monday is even goddamn LONGER, when I have a huge day of school and from there go right to my (CHINESE OH NOEZ!) martial arts school.
Haha, I'm just having fun with the fannishness and the creepy obsession. :)
Well, good night, all!
supporting a country that supports child slavery
supporting a country that supports the dog and cat fur trade
supporting a country that does nothing to stop the spread of aids and other diseases
would keep me awake.
Then I guess you'd better not support America, either.
Nite, then! ^_^
Gosh. I already said that a bunch of times and so did some of you. Soap Anon does not hear reason.
Why did I just bother?
Ahh, hope springs eternal, I suppose.
America is a great country. Too bad you can't see it.
G. Bay is the best you can do anon?
Human rights violations in the People's Republic of China (PRC) remain systematic and widespread. The Chinese government continues to suppress dissenting opinions and maintains political control over the legal system, resulting in an arbitrary and sometimes abusive judicial regime. The lack of accountability of the government and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) means that abuses by officials often go unchecked. This fact sheet identifies the most common types of abuses, including arbitrary detention, torture and ill-treatment of prisoners, severe restrictions on freedom of expression and association and violations specific to women.
China ALSO supports abortion, which I persnally am against.
^_~ don't bother.
I read you all the time. You are not as logical as you think.
And your attraction to GW is transparent.
Abu Graib, water boarding, politicians that get away with murder.... I'm with K on this. America's not too good either.
Not to mention what USA did to Iraq.
Anon.... you are putting alot of energy into Kapunua. I don't think you care one way or another about China. You just seem to hate her because she's not a fan.
I am not soap anon. Kapunua hears only what she wants to hear
or nothing at all
apparently.
When you're in China you won't be allowed access to the internet outside of China.
That's also strictly controlled by the Communist government. Don't try accessing the web or calling out of the country without permission. You'll end up in one of those Chinese prisons.
I"m sorry K I disagree with one thing. I don't think Obama is going to change too much of American's bad ways. You might want to read this page
USA isn't going to get any better any time soon. It might seem like it but it is still a pretty bad country in terms of human rights and torture. Illegal activities and other things like that.
Sorry but ignorance to the crimes of USA really bother me. It seems like not too many people IN the US can see this. Blaming it on other countries and "hoping for the best" is a pretty bad way to be.
Sorry but I think a woman has the right to choose. Half the coutnry or ALMOST half voted for McCain and Palin. Want to talk about dog and cat fur trade, she wanted to shoot wolves from a helicopter. America is not all that great.
Bush Ordered the Destruction of Facilities Essential to Civilian Life and Economic Productivity Throughout Iraq
24. Systematic aerial and missile bombardment of Iraq was ordered to begin at 6:30 p.m. E.S.T. January 16, 1991, in order to be reported on prime time TV. The bombing continued for 42 days. It met no resistance from Iraqi aircraft and no effective anti-aircraft or anti-missile ground fire. Iraq was basically defenseless.
25. Most of the targets were civilian facilities. The United States intentionally bombed and destroyed centers for civilian life, commercial and business districts, schools, hospitals, mosques, churches, shelters, residential areas, historical sites, private vehicles and civilian government offices. In aerial attacks, including strafing, over cities, towns, the countryside and highways, United States aircraft bombed and strafed indiscriminately. The purpose of these attacks was to destroy life and property, and generally to terrorize the civilian population of Iraq. The net effect was the summary execution and corporal punishment indiscriminately of men, women and children, young and old, rich and poor, of all nationalities and religions.
26. As a direct result of this bombing campaign against civilian life, at least 25,000 men, women and children were killed. The Red Crescent Society of Jordan estimated 113,000 civilian dead, 60% of them children, the week before the end of the war. According to the Nuremberg Charter, this "wanton destruction of cities, towns, or villages" is a Nuremberg War Crime.
27. The intention and effort of this bombing campaign against civilian life and facilities was to systematically destroy Iraq's infrastructure leaving it in a pre-industrial condition. The U.S. assault left Iraq in near apocalyptic conditions as reported by the first United Nations observers after the war. As a direct, intentional and foreseeable result of this anti-civilian destruction, over one hundred thousand people have died after the war from dehydration, dysentery, diseases, and malnutrition caused by impure water, inability to obtain effective medical assistance and debilitation from hunger, cold, shock and distress. More will die until potable water, sanitary living conditions, adequate food supplies and other necessities are provided. Yet Defendant Bush continues to impose punitive economic sanctions against the People of Iraq in order to prevent this from happening.
The United States Intentionally Bombed and Destroyed Defenseless Iraqi Military Personnel; Used Excessive Force; Killed Soldiers Seeking to Surrender and in Disorganized Individual Flight, Often Unarmed and Far from Any Combat Zones; Randomly and Wantonly Killed Iraqi Soldiers; and Destroyed Material After the Cease-Fire
28. In the first hours of the aerial and missile bombardment, the United States destroyed most military communications and began the systematic killing of Iraqi soldiers who were incapable of defense or escape, and the destruction of military equipment. The U.S. bombing campaign killed tens of thousands of defenseless soldiers, cut off from most of their food, water and other supplies, and left them in desperate and helpless disarray. Defendant Schwarzkopf placed Iraqi military casualties at over 100,000. Large numbers of these soldiers were "out of combat" and therefore not legitimate targets for military attack.
29. When it was determined that the civilian economy and the military were sufficiently destroyed, the U.S. ground forces moved into Kuwait and Iraq attacking disorientated, disorganized, fleeing Iraqi forces wherever they could be found, killing thousands more and destroying any equipment found. In one particularly shocking maneuver, thousands of Iraqi soldiers were needlessly and illegally buried alive. This wholesale slaughter of Iraqi soldiers continued even after and in violation of the so-called cease-fire.
30. The Defendants' intention was not to remove Iraq's presence from Kuwait. Rather, their intention was to destroy Iraq. The disproportion in death and destruction inflicted on a defenseless enemy exceeded 100 to one. The Defendants conducted this genocidal war against the Male Population of Iraq for the express purpose of making sure that Iraq could not raise a substantial military force for at least another generation.
The United States Used Prohibited Weapons Capable of Mass Destruction and Inflicting Indiscriminate Death and Unnecessary Suffering Against Both Military and Civilian Targets
31. Fuel air explosives were used against troops in place, civilian areas, oil fields and fleeing civilians and soldiers on two stretches of highway between Kuwait and Iraq. One seven mile stretch called the "Highway of Death" was littered with hundreds of vehicles and thousands of dead. All were fleeing to Iraq for their lives. Thousands were civilians of all ages, including Kuwaitis, Iraqis, Palestinians, Jordanians and other nationalities.
32. Napalm was used against civilians and military personnel, as well as to start fires. Oil well fires in both Iraq and Kuwait were intentionally started by U.S. aircraft dropping napalm and other heat intensive devices.
33. Cluster bombs and anti-personnel fragmentation bombs were used in Basra, and other cities and towns, against the civilian convoys of fleeing vehicles and against military units.
34. "Superbombs" were dropped on hardened shelters with the intention of assassinating Iraqi President Saddam Hussein - a war crime in its own right.
The United States Intentionally Attacked Installations in Iraq Containing Dangerous Substances and Forces in Violation of Article 56 of Geneva Protocol I of 1977
35. The U.S. intentionally bombed alleged nuclear sites, chemical plants, dams and other dangerous forces. The U.S. knew such attacks could cause the release of dangerous forces from such installations and consequently severe losses among the civilian population. While some civilians were killed in such attacks, there are no reported cases of consequent severe losses. Presumably, lethal nuclear materials, and dangerous chemical and biological warfare substances, were not present at the sites bombed.
The United States Waged War on the Environment
36. Before the war started, the Pentagon had developed computer models that accurately predicted the environmental catastrophe that would occur should the United States go to war against Iraq. These Defendants went to war anyway knowing full well what the consequences of such an environmental disaster would be. Attacks by U.S. aircraft caused much if not all of the worst oil spills in the Gulf. Aircraft and helicopters dropped napalm and fuel-air explosives on oil wells throughout Iraq and many, if not most, of the oil well fires in Iraq and Kuwait.
Defendant Bush Encouraged and Aided Shiite Muslims and Kurds to Rebel Against the Government of Iraq Causing Fratricidal Violence, Emigration, Exposure, Hunger and Sickness and Thousands of Deaths. After the Rebellion Failed, the U.S. Invaded and Occupied Parts of Iraq Without Lawful Authority in Order to Increase Division and Hostilities Within Iraq
37. Without authority from the U.S. Congress or the United Nations, Defendant Bush encouraged and aided rebellion against Iraq, failed to protect the warring parties, encouraged mass migration of whole populations placing them in jeopardy from the elements, hunger and disease. After much suffering and many deaths, Defendant Bush then without authority used U.S. military forces to distribute aid at and near the Turkish border, ignoring the often greater suffering among refugees in Iran. He then arbitrarily set up Bantu-like settlements for Kurds in Iraq and demanded for Iraq to pay for U.S. costs. When Kurds chose to return to their homes in Iraq, he moved U.S. troops further into northern Iraq against the will of the government and without any legal authority to do so. As Defendant Baker correctly put it when he visited the area, these atrocities constituted a Nuremberg "crime against humanity."
Defendant Bush Intentionally Deprived the Iraqi People of Essential Medicines, Potable Water, Food and Other Necessities
38. A major component of the assault on Iraq was the systematic deprivation of essential human needs and services, to terrorize and break the will of the Iraqi People, to destroy their economic capability, and to reduce their numbers and weaken their health. Towards those ends, the Defendants:
*
- imposed and enforced embargoes preventing the shipment of needed medicines, water purifiers, infant milk formula, food and other supplies;
*
- froze funds of Iraq and forced other nations to do so, depriving Iraq of the ability to purchase needed medicines, food and other supplies;
*
- preventing international organizations, governments and relief agencies from providing needed supplies and obtaining information concerning such needs; - failed to assist or meet urgent needs of huge refugee populations and interfered with efforts of others to do so, etc.
As a direct result of these cruel and inhuman acts, thousands of people died, many more suffered illnesses and permanent injury. For these actions, the Defendants are guilty of Nuremberg Crimes Against Humanity and the Crime of Genocide as recognized by international law and U.S. domestic law.
Defendant Bush, Having Destroyed Iraq's Economic Base, Demands Reparations Which Will Permanently Impoverish Iraq and Threaten Its People with Famine and Epidemic
39. Defendant Bush seeks to force Iraq to pay for damages to Kuwait largely caused by the U.S. and even to pay U.S. costs for its violation of Iraqi sovereignty in occupying northern Iraq to further manipulate the Kurdish population there. Such reparations are neo-colonial means of expropriating Iraq's oil, natural resources, and human labour. Meanwhile, the United States government dominates and controls the respective governments and oil resources of Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Oman, the United Arab Emirates, and Qatar.
40. The United States government has successfully carried out its long-standing threat and war plan to seize and steal the oil resources of the Persian Gulf for its own benefit. The United States now directly controls the natural energy resources that fuel the economies of Europe and Japan. Acting with their de facto allies in Israel and Great Britain, the Defendants are today consolidating their control over the entire Middle East in a blatant bid to establish worldwide hegemony.
Bush's "New World Order"
41. Today, the government in the United States of America constitutes an international criminal conspiracy under the Nuremberg Charter, Judgment and Principles, that is legally identical to the Nazi government in World War II Germany. The Defendants' wanton extermination of approximately 250,000 People in Iraq provides definite proof of the validity of this Nuremberg Proposition for the entire world to see. Indeed, Defendant Bush's so-called New World Order sounds and looks strikingly similar to the New Order proclaimed by Adolph Hitler over fifty years ago. You do not build a real New World Order with stealth bombers, Abrams tanks, and tomahawk cruise missiles. For their own good and the good of all humanity, the American People must condemn and repudiate Defendant Bush and his grotesque vision of a New World Order that is constructed upon warfare, bloodshed, violence and criminality.
Impeachment
42. All of these aforementioned international crimes constitute "High Crimes and Misdemeanors" as defined by the Article 2, Section 4 of the United States Constitution and therefore warrant the impeachment, conviction, and removal from office of Defendants Bush, Quayle, Baker, Cheney, Powell, and Scowcroft. In regard to this matter, Congressman Henry Gonzalez of Texas has already introduced an Impeachment Resolution into the House of Representatives, that is numbered House Resolution 86, calling for the impeachment and removal from office of these Defendants because they have committed these international crimes and also because they have subverted and perverted constitutional government in America "to the manifest injury of the people of the United States."
A Special Prosecutor
43. These Defendants must be impeached by the House, tried and convicted by the Senate, and removed from office. Thereafter, we believe that the Commission of Inquiry and the International War Crimes Tribunal will have produced sufficient evidence to trigger the application of the Ethics in Government Act, 28 U.S.C. 591 et seq., that would lead to the appointment of an Independent Counsel (i.e., Special Prosecutor) to investigate and prosecute these high-ranking officials for the wholesale violation of federal criminal laws in their decision to launch and wage this criminal war against the People and State of Iraq. We fully intend to see Bush, Baker, Cheney, Quayle, Scowcroft, Webster, Powell, Schwarzkopf and the rest of the U.S. High Command sitting in jail for the rest of their natural lives.
44. Make no mistake about it: The very nature, future and existence of the American Republic depends upon the success of these endeavors. Today, the battle begins for the hearts and minds of the American People between the Warmongers and the Peacemakers. We ask all of you to join us in this legal campaign and moral crusade to restore to the United States of America a democratic government with a commitment to the Rule of Law and the Constitution both at home and abroad.
The way some of you try to turn things around is more entertaining than Kapunua's hypocrisy.
Either you try to turn it into being about something it's not or it just all flies over your heads.
Did you hear that Joe Biden told Iran the Obama administration was prepared to act if they don't get their shit together.
What do you think about that?
I remember last year an anon posted Zeitgeist..... Maybe MCR loving anon should watch that and think about their OWN country before getting up the ass of someone who doesn't like MCR ..... but is going to China on a school trip.
You go and have fun Kapu. And stay safe.
If you read my posts you will see what I think about Obama, anon him and Biden, I don't think are that great or that much of a change.
You don't seem to "understand" things it seems. You are too busy thinking about yourself.
Is the is the part whe Mya signs in and says "by the way, this isn't me"!!!
LMFAO YES! oh my god, I always thought she was the "bush loving" anon and the racist anon.

Sorry but ignorance to the crimes of USA really bother me. It seems like not too many people IN the US can see this. Blaming it on other countries and "hoping for the best" is a pretty bad way to be.
February 8, 2009 12:21 AM
I don't see anybody ignoring anything the USA does. China does much worse
times 100.
Hahaa, OK I'm not the only one who thinks that then.
Hell no, she is obvious.
Are you an anon from VV's too? You're allowed to talk about MCR over there without the MCRmy going crazy and trying to stop you from living out the rest of your life.
I'm not Mya. I'm not a Bush lover. I'm not a Bush hater. I'm not a racist. Anymore names you'd like to call me? You might eventually get to an accurate description.
Point out the hypocrisy of Kapunua's actions and get attacked, belittled and called names.
Business as usual at Mayo's.
If you read my posts you will see what I think about Obama, anon him and Biden, I don't think are that great or that much of a change.
You don't seem to "understand" things it seems. You are too busy thinking about yourself.
Trying to level someone just highlights your own insecurities.
"I don't believe in god and I don't believe in one single creator, and I'm not convinced that there is some kind of consciousness outside of biochemical consciousness and all, but I also don't believe totally in chance. The fact that this insanely complicated stuff just happened to happen, just happened to randomly come together through "luck" or whatever, seems as illogical as "a wizard did it." ("A wizard did it" being kinda how I view religious creation theories.)
From Kapunua's journal.
She obviously does not respect the religion of other people so why should anyone respect her?
Calling you Mya is calling you a name? lol. Yeh I guess it would be.
What stupid reasoning. All the developed nations including America, are scrambling to trade with China, fully aware of their history of human right abuses. Yet this does not stop them. And the choice for trade are solely based on pragmatics; a large population, a developing economy. Not to trade with this country would effect thousands of jobs in western countries. They will be an economic power force in the future. And you are comparing this to a band. A business whose sole purpose is to sell music. There is no comparison.
Face it, you have a hard on for Kapu. You don't give a toss about China. You love MCR and you hate her.
"And you are comparing this to a band. A business whose sole purpose is to sell music. There is no comparison."
You don't understand. To these fans, the band is EVERYTHING. If someone doesn't like them they are obviously evil incarnate and must be harrassed over every decision they make!

As opposed to if someone DOES like them, they are evil incarnate and you should be harassed about it.
Aha well look who it is. That makes sense. Is it time to call a cunt a cunt?
It's funny I don't remember fans getting harassed for liking them. People talk about NOT liking MCR but I don't see them harrassing those who do like them.
Are we going to start making some rules about the haters again? Oh I'm sorry.......
guidelines.
I agree Amyranth, I am sick of people who love MCR and people of religious faith getting harassed and ridiculed with these words. Constant words of "I don't believe in God" .... OK we know thay already. Now you are just saying it to make people feel anger towards you.
It is unfair and disrespectful.
Same goes for hating MCR, OK we get it, you hate them, you hate God you hate America. Just keep saying it. Just keep hurting people. That is what I call, "disrespect".
12:41, I'm sure you think I'm here to stoke the fires. I'm not. I've actually popped in to see if anyone was online.
Saying that religion means 'a wizard created the world' disrespects religion but, what else is new? I am proud of my faith. I don't let her get to me.
Agreed 12:38. There is no real comparision.
She'll boycott My Chem and other bands who let her down but she'll go to China knowing about the atrocities committed there everyday.
No comparision at all.
Who's acting like an upset fangirl?
Shame of GW, FI, BB for letting her and other fans down. It's ok for China to do whatever they want to whomever they want.
Yes. That's great reasoning from them.
Amyranth every time someone says anything to Kapu or about her you are there stoking the fires. You live for this. Come on let's here some more insults and name calling.
"
She'll boycott My Chem and other bands who let her down"
This seems to really upset you. Are you Gerard or something lol? Is it GERARD with a hard on for Kap?
I say that without any kind of agenda or christianity or churchiness whatsoever; I think you all know me well enough to know that.
...... Yes Kapu. We ALL know you VERY well.
You could try to CAPITALIZE Christianity if you wanted to be respectful.
Boycotting My Chem and Walmart will change the world much quicker than boycotting China and goods from China.
Yep.
Why should someone stating their belief make you angry just because you don't share it? As long as they aren't telling you that you shouldn't believe in God what difference does it make?
Your logic is flawed 12:45. Read the post properly. America trades with a country knowing it participates in activities they do not approve of. Yet they still continue. They cannot choose not to. When you are purchasing a product you can. Music is a product.
No it is the disrespectful towards Christians way in which she says those things.
Let's here somemore of your insults and accusations 12:45. You've been spot on so far.
Oh hello J.
Have you put a dildo up FI's ass lately?
Well if you are a christian you know it's not your place to judge anyone. Regardless of their beliefs, even if they are different of your own.

5:32, that is a good, and daring point. For the record, I agree. Sent off to a useless war by full-on war profiteers who are claiming that our "rights" are being protected.
What rights?
That "terrorism" is being stopped.
The terrorism is right here, at home.

At least respect the fact that some of us love our country and out God. But no, she can't do that.
Kapunua said...
They will have this message drilled into their heads, not only by the goddamn religious right-wing, ultra-conservative nationalism, flag-waving, chest-beating jingoistic machismo masquerading as patriotism.
Well if you are a christian you know it's not your place to judge anyone. Regardless of their beliefs, even if they are different of your own.
Exactly. And tolerance. Very important.
Too much emotive reasoning.
I'll have you know those are quotes off her journal and they are all marked, get this, RIGHT WING TARDS. That's right when she was arguing with the anons here she was thinking they were RIGHT WING TARDS and she wrote those words on her journal.
THAT is disrespect.
The same disrespect she shows to God and Christians. The same disrespect she shows to MCR.
There is a huge gulf of logic between not agreeing with someone's beliefs and making it so that they are not able to live how they want. Give your opinion. I shall give mine. But I have not, to my knowledge, called into existance any laws that prevent you, or anyone, from living your life the way you want. Gosh, now that I think of it, I have not in any way ever prevented anyone from pursuing their choices or following their beliefs.
You are entitled to laugh at the things that I say, too. If my religion was to worship St. Looney Up The Cream Bun And Jam you would be well within your rights to laugh, call me foolish, to tell me that in your opinion my religion wasn't valid, that it shouldn't be on a dollar bill etc.
But the second you tried to take away my right to worship with Reverend Arthur Belling, you would overstep.
There is a difference between "disrespect" and "taking away someone's rights." It's called "hyperbole," anon.
No but you DISRESPECT THEM with your words. Not capitalizing Christianity. Not capitalizing God. Comparing religion to saying that a wizard created the world. That is disrespectful so don't be surprised when we disrespect you.
By the way those were her words I was quoting. I didn't say those things she did.
The same disrespect she shows to God and Christians. The same disrespect she shows to MCR.
There you go. You cannot group MCR alongside God.
You may like, even love the band, but they are not gods.

Where else but the fabulous land of Blog Believe? The half expect the Cheshire Cat to pop up and ramble off his famous quote when I peek in. ;)
I think you must have missed my original questions 12:50. They had nothing to do with who America does business with. They were to Kapunua asking her to explain a few things. With the things she has said in the past I didn't think an explanation was too much to ask for.
I wanted to know her reason for being so excited about going to a country that supports so many of the things she claims to hate and boycott.
You can buy a child slave in China for 50 euros. It's one of the world's biggest villians in the fight for human rights. How can you think of going there and yet refuse to watch a My Chem video?
Over 1000 child slaves found and other human rights violations
February 7, 2009 11:30 PM
I'm not soap anon. I don't know who soap anon is.
I want to know how you explain the hypocisy of your words and actions. That's all.
You're excited about going to a country whose main export is cruelty and who will sell children for 50 euros but you deem musicians unworthy of your support because of a few incidents. I'm trying to understand. Explain your reasoning.
February 7, 2009 11:47 PM
For asking those questions
I was called weird, racist, a bush lover, accused of having a hard on for GW and being a religious zealot in the same breath , and much more.
People can still love their country and question some of the things it does. It's called democracy.
Why bring MCR into a discussion on God? Gerard has said himself that he found no comfort in the church, especially after his grandmother died.

Homeland security made a woman give birth chained to a bed while being tortured.
I'm moving to China!
Kapu hating anons, get over it.
No 1:05. We've already said that. I'm not soap anon either.
And she answered you. Many times. Nicely. And you just can't seem to get over it. Or her. Or MCR.
RIGHT WING TARDS is name calling. Not only that but she is talking about SOME PEOPLE like that over at her journal. Behind your back. Right wing tards. The word EP even asked her not to use.
You're excited about going to a country whose main export is cruelty and who will sell children for 50 euros but you deem musicians unworthy of your support because of a few incidents. I'm trying to understand. Explain your reasoning.
Anon, you should explain your reasoning. Do you see this band as more than a capitalist venture?
Do you really want to know what they do to women in China 1:07?
Nobody said they hated Kapunua. You get over it.
She has spoken out against child slavery, human rights violations and animal cruelty many times. I want to know how she is justifying
to herself
her trip to China.
The same kinds of things they do to women in America I think.
Anon.... you care so much about Kapu and her life. She can't not like a band or go on a school trip without you breathing down her neck and starting pages of drama here.
Why is that, Mya? You still seem to hate her so much.
Didn't 30 Seconds to Mars go to China?
Anon, you should explain your reasoning. Do you see this band as more than a capitalist venture?
February 8, 2009 1:10 AM
No. I see Kapunua as a hypocrite. As someone who will talk the talk but
doesn't walk the walk. Yet she'll judge others for doing the same. For saying one thing and doing another.
That's what I see. What do you see anon?
Oh no, someone hates your favorite band and is going on a school trip. You must write about it all night and bother her every time she says something!!!

No. I see Kapunua as a hypocrite.
Good for you. She is a hypocrite for hating a band you like and going on a trip with her school. Are you going to keep harping on it? Because you seem very hung up.
"
That's what I see. What do you see anon?"
I see Mya still has a hard on for Kap.
LOL.
My Chem isn't my favorite band 1:17. Sorry to burst your bubble.
I think it's Mya too. Actually..... It's pretty obvious.
My words can't be flying that far over your head 1:18. I'm typing in the most simplistic way I can.
No. I see Kapunua as a hypocrite. As someone who will talk the talk but
doesn't walk the walk. Yet she'll judge others for doing the same. For saying one thing and doing another.
That's what I see. What do you see anon?
I think that hypocrisy is part of human nature. We are all guilty of it, even you. Actually, you are engaged in the same actions towards her, as she has been towards GW. Which then leads me to the conclusion that you are sensitive about the whole topic surrounding him, despite your denials.
You must be connected to him.
Wrong assumption. Just wrong. You two need to get your eyes and ears checked ASAP.
Nite.
It's easier to be let down by a person you admired than to hate an entire country.
Actually, hating an entire country has a different name. That's akin to racism.
Boycotting a COUNTRY is the wrong idea. Not ALL Chinese are that way.
To assume that they are is just as stupid as racism.
Sorry, I am with K on this.
I don't think that ALL of America is bad either.
Wrong assumption. Just wrong. You two need to get your eyes and ears checked ASAP.
Nite.
And you dare to criticize Kapunua when most of the time you are engaged in petty insults and patronizing remarks.
You are foolish.
I never claimed I wasn't guilty 1:22. BTW you're wrong is your assumptions too.
This is an "anon" who is so hateful that they want you to boycott an entire COUNTRY. A whole race of people.
Wow.
Those weren't petty insults. They were suggestions. They might help you from making the same mistakes in the future.
I remember when Americans were supposed to boycott France too.
Yes because if a government does something wrong then the entire country is evil.
What does that make America, Mya?
1:27
Are you serious? Seriously serious?
My assumption maybe wrong, but being wrong is a matter of perspective.
And for my part, I think you're wrong.
Obviously this anon thinks an entire country is like one being.
lol
It is My'as way of thinking.
I wonder when she will sign in and say that it really isn't her. That should be soon.
I wonder if she's going to write to the Chinese government and tell them not to let Kapu into China.
LOL
Sorry Kapu, I hope you can laugh about it.
Those weren't petty insults. They were suggestions. They might help you from making the same mistakes in the future.
No point justifying your behavior.
Kapunua inspires obsession. It's strange because this is just a blog. yet anons seem to cling to her. They seem to be really involved in what she is doing with her life. And trying to change the things she is doing with her life. It's a little scary. I have warned Kapu in the past to be careful around these people.
It's not Kapunua, it's MCR. Anyone who doesn't like them and is vocal about it, is a target.
Hypocrisy will nail your ass everytime
That's what it's about.
Do you not understand the anons are Kapunua herself and her friends? They are both the for and against anons.
Pay attention.
I'm not for or against her 1:54.
Neither am I. The "reasoning anon" had a flawed argument.
There may be one or two actual anons, but the majority were them. Have you ever heard the phrase "any publicity is good publicity, even bad"? In other words, make sure everyone is talking about you, especially if it's a controversial subject.
Nite
Also the possibility of two completely neutral anons arguing the subject for so long is distinctly implausible.
Nite again
Also the possibility of two completely neutral anons arguing the subject for so long is distinctly implausible.
Nite again
If you want to believe that, you may.
Thank you, I do. I've seen this little ruse in action too many times. I'm sure the players involved know exactly what I'm meaning.
hi-de-ho Mayo-rinos!
I'm back from bowling and skating.
Bowling was fun, I bowled 119 and considering I haven't done it for years was pretty cool, beat hubby too :]
We've decided we should all go in once a month or so
Skating ...well....I haven't rollerskated for nigh on 25 years, and have totally lost the knack! I just ended up with a sore bum and then gave up, lol.
I'll stick with bowling!Though I did try inline skates for the first time, and they are odd
Birthday boy and kids had a ball too so that was excellent.
Got some prawns and scallops for dinner, some fish for tomorrow and some squid for tues.
mmmmmmmmmmmm
Hallo Ergo!
I'm just about ready to run screaming from my house. The boys are fucking hammered beyond belief.
I hope you had a better day.
Babies with defects detected aborted by force
Organ harvesting in China
Facts sheet video on human rights violations in China
UN Targets human rights violations in China
China's shocking fur trade
What GW did and said is worse than that? Leathermouth opening for MSI is worse than that? MSI's lyrics do more harm than that?
If you think anyone who says yes to those questions is right
If you think them saying it's ok great and exciting to go to China but horrible to support some rock bands who don't speak up for feminism is not hypocritcal
I think that reasoning is seriously flawed.
hi Amy
I did though I will be sore tomorrow
I landed once bum hard, right hand down too, but it was fun
I used to rollerskate a lot too, I really wanted my skill to be like it used to be, but nooooooo
Bowling is far more my thing
how many boys is it? sounds like they are having a big night!
hi BC how are you?
Thank you, I do. I've seen this little ruse in action too many times. I'm sure the players involved know exactly what I'm meaning.
I'd like to see the proof you have. Otherwise I think you just like to create trouble.
I'm doing alright, but a little bored and tired Ergo, but other than that I'm okay, thanks.
How about you?
If you think anyone who says yes to those questions is right
If you think them saying it's ok great and exciting to go to China but horrible to support some rock bands who don't speak up for feminism is not hypocritcal
I think that reasoning is seriously flawed.
Because it's just so sinful to criticize a rock band anon.
All in the name of "hypocrisy".
You're connected.
good been out at a birthday party for a friends son, at a bowling alley/roller skating rink
it was a good afternoon
then went to the fish market for some NOM's
That sounds like a lot of fun ergo :)
I am a talentless hack when it comes to bowling ;p
it's good fun though and we had one poor mum who'd never bowled befoer, but it was all laughs so it was great, no one really competitive
...though I did win lol
No anon. Because what is going on is China is a million times worse than anything any of those rock bands ever said, sang or did.
Worse than any of the logical reasons she's given for not supporting those bands.
That's why.
Nite.
me!
me!
YAY!!
*happy dance*
No anon. Because what is going on is China is a million times worse than anything any of those rock bands ever said, sang or did.
Worse than any of the logical reasons she's given for not supporting those bands.
That's why.
China is a country that is a home to many individuals who may not support it's stance on things. Reform comes through opening up a country, not barring it.
MCR are a band that sell a product. Nothing more. You choose whether to purchase a product or not. You continue to ignore this. For all your arguing there is no comparison.
To link what an individual says in a band, to what a government in a country does, is ridiculous. That is not logical.
Go Ergo! :D
*pulls out poms poms*
BC I would cartwheel but I think I'd break somthing!
lol that's alright.
I think we tend to break stuff all the time, especially during those pillow fights :D
wow they have the bushfires on TV, it's like a disaster movie
in one day 49 dead, hundreds of homes, nearly whole towns, and in one town the people huddled in a community hall while the rural fire brigade stood outside stopping the flames! Other people had to sit outside in their cars and hope.
Some cars didn't make it out it's so tragic
if anyone prays, pray for the firefighters and the people of Victoria
Ergo, I saw the story posted on yahoo. It's horrible :(
I hope they can contain the fires soon.
Hi anon, ergo and BC!
ergo - That is awful! I will send protective wishes their way. I only hope our concern helps.
Back again, had to go hunting for marks on a Walther P38.
Hi Amy, is a walter P38 a plane?
Hiya miranth, how are you? *hugs* good to see you!
Hallooo Amy! So, is mister completely bombed?
thanks miranth
BC it's just something you sit and look at in disbelieve
I really hope they get a break soon
one town has 95% of it's buildings gone, they say it's like towns have just been wiped off the map, and they aren't even looking at livestock etc
we have friends down there and have no idea if they are ok, we hope so
Amy did you find any?
Hallo Mira and BC!
Bombed and then some, but they're both coherent, and there's been lots of hugging.
Mira, a Walther P38 is a gun. This one in specifics is a Military Issue from Germany, made in April of 1943.
And to think he bought it because it was "Megatron".
Damn. I hope your friends are okay down there Ergo.
I hope they stop it soon.
Ergo, that's fucking awful.
Is there nothing they can do? I saw the Government is setting aside 10,000,000 for aid.
