He popped in to our club after one night at his concert at the big arena in town... He saddled up to me... He was all of about 5'3" and had this long black leather coat on and thought he was the shit!
Anyway, he saddles up to me and says, "Where you going when you get off tonight?" I sad, "Home" and he says, "Want some company"?
I mean, shit! I had just met this guy! And he thought I was gonna jump, y'know?! Shit... Hell No!
I think he turned into a drug addict and ruined his career...
I remember opening a show for a BIG headliner... At a BIG amusement park... (Can you say 1-2-3-4-5 Flags?)

Anyway... This headliner was going to be at this venue for 2 days, doing 4 shows... That meant 4 meals...
This headliner requested:
Coldcut platters with meat and cheese and vegetables for one meal. But the main one I remember, is he requested a old fashioned cook-out, complete with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, corn-on-the-cob and the main thing - churned home-made ice cream!
We ate out back, behind the arena, and it was great! Just like an ol' time cook-out! Everyone was so down-to-earth... It was great!
Then, the manager of the venue wanted to show me the "requests" of the next headliner... It was so night and day... They were one of those "shot in the darks", a "One Hit Wonder... They wanted clavier and champagne and all kinds of nonsense!
Oh, by the way...
The venue's manager believed in me... That is why she invited me to open for...
I mean, really... Maybe Bob saw that he could reached out like the others and help the organization he uses... It was a good idea! He just expounded on it!
Please... Get over it! The guys in My Chemical Romance were already knowing they were in the "now". I believe that Gerard fell truly head-over-heels for his wife... They have a lot in common... And that's how it happens... Unexpectedly... Suddenly... That's what make LOVE so magical!

Yeah I've read back, Mya. Sorry but I don't think Bob is a dick. But at least VV has found someone other than Gerard to target as the anti-christ for awhile
I don't see that Bob is doing anything wrong.. I see him trying to do good for another organization... Those organizations need all the help they can get!
Yeah I've read back, Mya. Sorry but I don't think Bob is a dick. But at least VV has found someone other than Gerard to target as the antichrist for awhile
January 3, 2009 12:18 AM
No one is targeting any one as the antichrist. IT was the person who original asked BOb to help out with their shelter that called it a dick move.
Ever heard of the Bob Wills band? Yeah, they are country too... They invited him to come along... He was in the services... Turned them down.. Wanted to come home...
Y'know what? If I had been in Bob's shoes... And had just been through all what Bob has been though with his dog... I'd do the same thing. Do something for the place that had helped my dog...
Be honest, has VV had one nice thing to say about MCR?
Bob tried to help out people he thinks of as friends because they went out of their way to help him when his dog got cancer.
January 3, 2009 12:30 AM
Just because you don't have anything nice to say about someone doesn't mean you think they are the antichrist or a monster. Some of us still hold people to their word and standard.
I am not saying that Bob trying to help out the place where he got his dog was wrong. But he was asked by someone who knew him to help out their place first. He could have mention something about it.
"Hey my fried had asked me to have you guys to vote for his favorite shelter in this contest to win money. But because the people at the shelter where I got my dog help me when my dog was sick I am going to ask you to help them instead."
plus it is second hand information, what really was said or not said could be different
and why does it really matter? life is too short anyway
so anyone get any cool xmas gifts?
I got so much jewellery from my parents trip to Greece and Turkey I am wearing a piece of volcanic rock from Santorini on a necklace and a bracelet with the protection from the evil eye symbol on it, all the jewellery has the eye on it somewhere, it's really cool
Martha I just wonder why if you don't have anything nice to say ever why you have to say bad things always.
Not you personally but VV is an example. Why continue to harp on the bad? There are tons of things in this world that are so much worse. Why keep harping on things a band does?
I believe that Gerard fell truly head-over-heels for his wife... They have a lot in common... And that's how it happens... Unexpectedly... Suddenly... That's what make LOVE so magical!
Martha when all is said and done they are just a band. Just five guys. Not superheroes, just guys.
I just don't understand with all the terrible things that are happening in the world why so much time is spent worrying about what they do or don't do.
Martha, I'm saying that your beef shouldn't be with whatever what member of MCR is doing... It sounds much deeper than that! Get off of MCR and go for what whoud truly make a difference!
I'll have to go soon too, too much unpacking to do, that is the bit I hate the most and I need a good sleep, two days driving (well only 6 hrs each day) but it takes it out of you
Martha when all is said and done they are just a band. Just five guys. Not superheroes, just guys.

January 3, 2009 12:58 AM
How many times do I have to tell you or people who make comments like that NO ONE THOUGHT THEY WERE SUPERHEROS. The reason a lot of people got behind them was because they were regular guys who claimed to want to make a difference in the world.
There are worse things going on in the world but right now my concern when I am at the blogs is what happened with the group of regular guys.
we went down to hubby's dad, who has moved to a farm in the south east of the state, an area called the granite belt, lots of lucerne, sunflowers, sheep and wineries
as well as lots of national parks, it' is a really lovely area, shame it's so far away though
Or, maybe... I could start blaming MCR on the South Carolina's Governor deciding to hold back the unemployment checks... And I could blame MCR on the unemployment rate, period!

Right now it is because they are contributing to some of the things I see wrong in the world. They have the ears of a lot of young people. And you have to go after the people that the young ones admirer if you really want to make changes in the world.
Sqeauking clean? Well, I did wash with your soap today. :) And Martha, I so still totally disagree with you on like, everything, oh wait, do you like chocolate?
Or, maybe... I could start blaming MCR on the South Carolina's Governor deciding to hold back the unemployment checks... And I could blame MCR on the unemployment rate, period!
January 3, 2009 1:12 AM
No one is blaming MCR for all the ills of the world Mya.
Why should I have to go to another blog or get off the blogs. You have said things that I don't agree with but I never told you to go somewhere else or get off the blogs.
Oh, Martha... I'm not telling you to leave this blog... I just said that maybe if you wanted to protest something you should go where it would matter most.
Me and my daughter, the gay one, are now gonna go watch Waitress. She bought it for me, for Christmas, with her own monies, and now I know she really loves me after all.
Hello? MCR hasn't had a new record, in how long? The music "of the day" is what speaks to the "teens". That is what make rock music so volatile...
January 3, 2009 1:15 AM
So what if they haven't had a record out in a few years. How long has it been since the Beatles put out a record yet people still talk about the messages they tried to have in their later years.
Oh, Martha... I'm not telling you to leave this blog... I just said that maybe if you wanted to protest something you should go where it would matter most.
This is place where people are allowed to speak their opinion isn't it. Sometimes you have to go to a place where it doesn't appear to matter to get heard.
maya said...
And MCR isn't what I would call the "changers" in this world. They haven't made it that big... (Sorry again, MCR!) Close, but no cigar...
January 3, 2009 1:17 AM
They got a bunch of their fans to vote for an animal shelter so that it could get some money. That changed the world. You don't have to be the president to inspire someone to be good or bad. YOu just have to have their ear.
even if no one gets me, if i'm the only one laughing at my jokes, i won't hide myself away from life. it's uncertain and it's dirty and it's fucking exciting, and i want to be a part of all of it.
it's too good to waste in hiding.

heart full
Today on my way home from class, I stopped off at the petrol station for some petrol. I paid on my card which wasn’t a lot, and then as I was getting into my car, I saw an old man walking past the building. He had a red and green stripy jumper which was frayed at the ends. He was also wearing some jeans that were dirty and had holes all over.
I sat there and became intrigued by him because I didn’t know what he was doing, so as I sat there and watched him, he continued doing what he set out to do.
He walked past the trash cans and first picked out a cup with some drink still in it (one of the cups that you get from burger king that has coke in it). He then walked over to the next trash can and pulled out the end of a half eaten sandwich. In my shock horror, he ate it and then went to sit on the wall to drink the drink he had found.
I felt sad, I wanted to give him my last $4 that I had but I was told when I was younger that you should never give people money, you should give them something they need or can use because that way, if they had an addiction, they would not be able to use the money for their addiction. So I went into the shop and bought a chicken sandwich from their deli counter and then walked out of the building.
The guy was still sat at the wall drinking his drink so I walked up to him and asked him if he would like this sandwich. He thanked me and said that he was hungry.
I should of felt good after that, doing something for someone else but all I could think of is where his next meal will come from or where in fact he will sleep tonight.

It helped.
Jennicula,
Thank you for sharing your story. Although it only appeared briefly, I was lucky enough to have caught it.
Once upon a time, for me, that was the best part of this place...having my words related back to me from another's perspective.
And it never mattered to me who said it, just that it meant something to the writer.

Don't let anyone tell you how to live your life. Hold your head up high and be proud of who you are. If you've had a shitty day and you feel like people just don't want you to be happy, and when you find yourself struggling to make it through the day, just keep on believing and keep the faith. Also, from personal experience, don't push people away. When they say they want to help and that they are there for you, let them in. Believe me, I know how fucking scary that thought is, but don't shut others out.

Retro-spectacled
Sometimes, when you look back on stuff in your life, you know, the crap that makes you shake your head and say, "Holy shit, what the Hell was I thinking?" it's part of what makes you - you.
I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. I have made small mistakes and really big, fucking scary mistakes. Would I change those mistakes and blunders?
No. Wanna know why?
Because they make me - me. They help make up the person that I am, what I've learned the hard way. Hopefully I've learned from my mistakes and have become a better person for it. And, hopefully I don't repeat those same mistakes. Although, sometimes I repeat variations of certain ones, but I'm working on that. :)

aloft
Blazing against the sun like locusts, samaras swarm the sky and skitter to an earthly end, dry like clever words. I want to make them fly up, flip heaven upside down and dance across the top of hell and sing your thoughts to the sound of thunder that you love so well, rip open the littered sky and bathe in the light or draw across the firmament the blanket of the night.
In only a day they have covered the ground, their brief flight yielding nothing permanent on infertile land, a fleeting moment of swarming glory that calls to mind our own short story: Diamonds and petals, the loom and the light, the inkdark moon, foxfire marsh, an open, waiting hand.
Clever winged seeds of childhood reminiscent-- and like the idiot grown-up heart, as stubbornly indehiscent.

Electric Blue
…today I saw a ulysses butterfly it was in our yard and settled to feed on our hibiscus. They really are fantastically beautiful things, the electric blue is amazing, however as they sit with their wings closed they are rather nondescript and dull. Sometimes people are like that, from the outside they seem unappealing but within there hides an amazing beauty for those lucky enough to see it. I hope you appreciate beauty in all things, and look for it perhaps where others miss it.

LIFE IS BEAUTIFUL.
I read your post again and suddenly without warning memories of construction paper filled my head. I remembered all the lop-sided flowers my girls made when they were young. Bright blue, yellow and pink flowers that were cut out with blunt end scissors would fill the windows to decorate for Easter. An occasional bunny was attempted but those usually ended up looking like creatures from a horror movie. Flowers were so much easier. I can close my eyes and hear the paper being cut into petals. I can smell the Elmer’s glue squirted on in huge blobs to attach each misshapen petal to form the flowers. We had a huge arts and crafts box full of wonderful items just waiting for their imaginations to turn into something wonderful. In my mind I see my daughters, as they once were, small, blond little girls sitting on the floor surrounded by scraps of paper and other art supplies. They would create their masterpieces then proudly show each other. Oh and Lord the messes that would ensue if the glitter made an appearance. Now, the box is forgotten. I’m not really sure where it even is anymore. The few flowers so lovingly created that survived are faded and dusty and high on a shelf they sit. Time marches on, so many things get left behind.
Today was the first Easter I spent alone. I don’t think it really upset me until I remembered the construction paper flowers. Of course I understand that my daughters are growing up and have lives of their own. But understanding doesn’t make it any easier to accept. I miss my little girls in their frilly Easter dresses. I miss the laughter that filled the house when they found what the Easter Bunny left for them. And I miss making the damn flowers.

I wonder if you noticed all our friends playing Some had never tried before and the result was amazing.

Oh no, I've failed Ergo. I tried to grab top spot for her. LOL
Just like I didn't appreciate Marshall Tucker because they were homeboys and everybody around here was so gah-gah over them. Damn, I just knew them as the boys playing on my Dad's little league ball team!
Hey! Edwin McCain is also a homeboy!
Hey I keep watching the previews for Unborn. Can we say Stephen King story? Sounds like The Dark Half to me
Looks scary to me!!!!!!
Really on your dad's team?
Yeah, they never forgot their respect for him neither. Whenever I ran into them, they would ask me how Mr. Wilson was...
4: Black Sabbath's Paranoid
Hey, Hey, Hey!
Paranoid - Oh hell yeah
I always think of an old song called, DOA by Bloodrock. Ever hear it?
That's cool Mya. Great to hear they still remembered to respect others
Yes!
3: Ledd Zep's Whole Lotta Love!
Elena, the Caldwell's family had so much tragedy... It is so sad...
Nope never heard of Bloodrock
Their parents had to bury all 3 of their sons
What happened to the family?
2: ACDC's Back in Black
Fuck yeah -Back in Black
What the hell is gonna be #1?
Wait, what? All three sons? Holy shit, that's terrible
Tommy Caldwell, the bass player, died in a accident, in his Jeep
Then, like no time later, his little brother, Timmy, who was closer to my age, also died in a automobile accident.
Then, Toy died in the '90's. I think they said it was a heart attack, but it was brought on by drug abuse.
For the funerals, you should've seen our little town... People like The Allman Brothers, Hank Williams, Jr, etc.
This is some of the stuff in my past that makes me melancholy...
I will definitely have The Allman Brother's Whipping Post in the Top 20. I love that song! I always have and always will!
I can understand that, Mya. How sad. I pray to God I don't outlive any of my children
And the Number 1 Hard Rock Song Ever:
Guns & Roses' Welcome to the Jungle
Okay I love Welcome to the Jungle but I'm not thinking #1
Me either!
I don't remember hearing any Queen during this count-down! WTF?!
Crap gotta change the channel
After Toy died, there were lots of Benefit concerts done around here in his honor and to help his "estate". Lauren's father was involved because he could flat-ass play the hell out of a guitar...
Remember, I told you I always had a soft spot for the guitarists!
Shit, Elena... I've had so many "brushes with fame", it is ridiculous...
Holy crap are you watching this next show? wtf?
But, it was just never meant to be for me...
I sang back-up on an Outlaw's demo tape... I opened a show for Kenny Rogers... I sang back-up for country music singer, Helen Cornelius...
Okay, lets hear some of these brushes.
I won 2 song-writing contests... I have performed for over 20,000 people...
You opened for a Kenny Rogers show? Seriously? How fuckin' cool is that?
OK, what would you say if I told you that Hank Williams, Jr played me an unfinished song that he was writing? He wanted my opinion and I told him I thought it was great!
Wow Mya. I'm impressed.
It ended up being his next single and a hit!
Damn woman.
We were on his bus... He was appearing as the headliner at the club I played at regularly... There was a knock on the bus door... It was one of our bouncers, telling me that I had to go on stage... Hank, Jr. looked at me and said, "You don't ever have to go back to work if you don't want to..."
Guess what I said?
Guess what I said??!!
I said....
But, I want to...
Dummy!
That's not dumb. That is being a strong woman.
Not really a dummy... Cause that's how I am... I never did that casting couch thing...
Oh, thanks, Elena!
OK, Ever heard of Johnny Rodriguez?
Nope sorry. I've never been much into country music. I guess he's country, right?
Yeah, he was country...
Oh, and I could tell you about the night that I was offered to go off with David Allen Coe's group...
Too hilarious!
They are practicing Mormons, y'know...
Yeah, so now you know why I'm not so giddy about "stars", right?
I've also been at the County Music Awards and to a big party afterwards!
Mya this is all so interesting. Are you gonna be around for awhile? I gotta go for a bit and get the hubby off to work. I'll be back soon.
Yep...
Brush, brush, brush...
And I wasn't a groupie either. I was serious about my craft... Too bad, most of them were just fucking around...
Shit, there was a time that I'd show up to a Talent Contest around here and people would just drop the fuck out!
The Good Ol' Days....
I've sung TV and Radio commercial jingles...
Jingle, Jingle, Jingle...
Big Fucking Deal...
Yep...
Me and Brando!
"I cudda been a contender!"
Mayo,
No one is here now...
I'm all alone...
Just as well...
Because, it pisses me the FUCK off when I hear of a band, or an artist, who has MADE it so fucking fast!
Oh, the hard times they went through... All of like 2 or 3 years... Oh, Fuck Me!
Because, you know...
It is
Who You Know
It isn't what how the outside world thinks it is...
There are favors to be made...
you know that...
I just didn't play the game right, did I?
And me, being female... And being as adamant about what is ethical and right... I wasn't about to play the game that could've been so easy to play...
See, I know how fucking LUCKY some of these "artists" are these days...
If it ain't sex, it's money, honey...
You know what I'm sayin'...
See ya!

Like a certain bass guitarist who shall remain un named.
I respect the choice you made Mya. Happy new year and good night.
Oh, snap...
I don't hold any of that against Bob...
Damn! He saw a chance to help the organization he uses and he took it. Any help for any of these organizations is good, I say!
Anon, I don't know what the hell you're talking about... Sorry...
what bass player are you talking about?
I mean, really... Maybe Bob saw that he could reached out like the others and help the organization he uses... It was a good idea! He just expounded on it!
Don't tell me you're talking about Lyn-Z
da dada da da da daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Please... Get over it! The guys in My Chemical Romance were already knowing they were in the "now". I believe that Gerard fell truly head-over-heels for his wife... They have a lot in common... And that's how it happens... Unexpectedly... Suddenly... That's what make LOVE so magical!
I IZ BAAAACK!!!!!!!!
My prediction for Lyn-Z is that she will become a wonderful mother and a great supporter of her husband...
ERGO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm So Glad to see YOu!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
anyway, that's what I think she should be...
Mya I hope you're right
Gerard has "presence"...
It would be in Lyn-Z's best interest for her, and for her children, to be totally supportive of Gerard.
Elena, you're back too!
ERGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Welcome Back
I told ya I'd be back, Mya.
Actually, I've always seen Gerard as being a big-time stage actor...
You laugh?
He's perfect! I knew it the minute I saw the video for .... What was the name of that song? The video gave me chills! I was so impressed! It was for the invasion of Normandy!
Help me!
Ghost of You
Actually, I thought My Chemical Romance should've won for the best video of the year for that one! It was stellar!
thank you! hi elena hi mya
it's nice to be really home, and virtually home :}
pardon me having no idea what the conversation is about, I am unpacking and washing
Thanks, Elena! That was it!
Damn! He saw a chance to help the organization he uses and he took it. Any help for any of these organizations is good, I say!
He found out about the contest because he was asked to help out another place. That is why it has some people upset.
I believe that Gerard fell truly head-over-heels for his wife... They have a lot in common... And that's how it happens... Unexpectedly... Suddenly... That's what make LOVE so magical!
That's not love that is lust.
I am going back to VV's now
Have you read back, Elena?
Cheerio, Martha! Have a good Night!
Elena, you asked for my stories... I've provided a few...
Yeah I've read back, Mya. Sorry but I don't think Bob is a dick. But at least VV has found someone other than Gerard to target as the anti-christ for awhile
I think Gerard Way will persevere... Despite whatever obstacle may or may not befall him... I think he is a "star" and destined to make it big...
Damn...
I should be an agent...
I loved your stories Mya. Got any more? You have led a very interesting life. Mine pales in comparison
I don't see that Bob is doing anything wrong.. I see him trying to do good for another organization... Those organizations need all the help they can get!
Mya I totally agree with you about Gerard. I can see him as an actor or on the stage in a musical
Oh, Elena...
The tales I could tell...
Hi MJ
did you all have a good christmas?
If I was a "Hollowood Scout", I would definitely be trying to pick at Gerard Way!
A book. Mya you need to write a book!
He has the talent, the looks, the presence... He could be a big box-office item
No, not a book! I don't have enough for that!
But, my Dad, could write a book...
Damn, he can tell some stories...
elena said...

No one is targeting any one as the antichrist. IT was the person who original asked BOb to help out with their shelter that called it a dick move.
Write a book with your dad. Hey just think about it
he is definitely talented, he has the potential to go far
Ever heard of the Bob Wills band? Yeah, they are country too...
They invited him to come along...
He was in the services...
Turned them down..
Wanted to come home...
My Dad used to look like a movie star!!!!!!!!!
Y'know what? If I had been in Bob's shoes... And had just been through all what Bob has been though with his dog... I'd do the same thing. Do something for the place that had helped my dog...
Human nature...
Martha
Be honest, has VV had one nice thing to say about MCR?
Bob tried to help out people he thinks of as friends because they went out of their way to help him when his dog got cancer.
He could have mention the other place as well.
I know what, why not all of us get together and donate to one animal charity... Would that work? Would that vindicate Bob? Will that make it alright?
I applaud Bob's effort to help the organization that helped his dog. I would've done the same!
Why would he mention the other place? He wants the shelter he likes to win.
If some place had helped you, wouldn't you try to help them?
These people are just people! Just like you and me! They do things they feel is right at the time... Don' be so harsh...
See? This is just part of the bitch of being famous... It is so touchy...
Damned if you do, damned if you don't...
And I don't even see Bob as being famous...
I mean, have any of you ever heard of Paul Riddle?

Just because you don't have anything nice to say about someone doesn't mean you think they are the antichrist or a monster. Some of us still hold people to their word and standard.
I am not saying that Bob trying to help out the place where he got his dog was wrong. But he was asked by someone who knew him to help out their place first. He could have mention something about it.
"Hey my fried had asked me to have you guys to vote for his favorite shelter in this contest to win money. But because the people at the shelter where I got my dog help me when my dog was sick I am going to ask you to help them instead."
A few extra words to explain what had happend.
Drummers need not apply, thank you...
Very true Mya. Bob thought he was doing a good thing but it gets twisted into something bad
good to see we are on the same wave length, Elean

Normal people can go on the net and ask people to vote for their favorite organization and have that many people do it.

Because his friend had asked him to.
plus it is second hand information, what really was said or not said could be different
and why does it really matter?
life is too short anyway
so anyone get any cool xmas gifts?
I got so much jewellery from my parents trip to Greece and Turkey
I am wearing a piece of volcanic rock from Santorini on a necklace and a bracelet with the protection from the evil eye symbol on it, all the jewellery has the eye on it somewhere, it's really cool
Oh, well... This has really upset my life...
WTF?!
Why are people making such a big deal over this?
Martha I just wonder why if you don't have anything nice to say ever why you have to say bad things always.
Not you personally but VV is an example. Why continue to harp on the bad? There are tons of things in this world that are so much worse. Why keep harping on things a band does?
Oh, Elena! That jewelry sound awesome!
this is the amulet design
Yes, Martha, what Elena said...
And what I've been trying to say all night long...
These guys are just guys... They are just regular people! Really! Believe it or not!
Ergo that sounds neat. Got photos?
mya they are though you do feel watched, lol
Ahhhh...
I'm going to bed...
Leaving all the hero-worshiping and killing to others...
watched?
not yet elena but I will show you for sure, and I have ones from my trip to, afterI upload them I'll do a holiday blog
next trip I will take Ray and Zombie Ray, they can do a documentary duet
Oh Mya you gotta go?
It would do me no good at this point, Elena...
Can't wait to see Zombie Ray's adventures.
Happy new year!!!!!!!!
Man, I'm really late with that. How lame!
Anyway, hope you're all well!
*hugs*
xoxo cupcake
Could you imagine someone "discovering" a 50-somthing singer-songwriter?
Yeah...
I believe that Gerard fell truly head-over-heels for his wife... They have a lot in common... And that's how it happens... Unexpectedly... Suddenly... That's what make LOVE so magical!
i agree
they are best suited for each other
well my bracelet is made up of 7 b&w eyes free rolling in silver circles
it's a lot of eyes, but in a good way, they are protection
Cupcake!!!!!!!!!!!
How are you????!!!!
I can't speak as to why VV' does it bad I do it because I am pissed about being lied to. I was told that band was one thing they are't that.
I am disappointed that they feel it is alright to support a band that uses slurs against people based on their race and sexual orientation.
And I feel like speaking out against them. As do a lot of other fans who go to VV's
Mya it's never, ever too late!!!!
Hey Anon - yep, I agree
anon, that is what I hope for...
They do look good together, I'll give them that...
They should be able to make beautiful babies too!
CUPPY!!!!!
happy new year sweetie!
they have already made one
Martha, I'm sorry, but it sounds like you're becoming a part of some sort of clan...
I know, Anon! And isn't that exciting?!
Any time there is a new life, it is exciting!
Mya people could say the same about the people here
Yes, Martha... A clan... Like KKK... Anything to do with hate.
sorry...
Martha when all is said and done they are just a band. Just five guys. Not superheroes, just guys.
I just don't understand with all the terrible things that are happening in the world why so much time is spent worrying about what they do or don't do.
well, love and hate, they are two sides of the one coin
You might do better if you spent your time and energy elsewhere...
Because MCR just ain't where it's at, baby!
Mya I think I see where you are going, but before I say anything please make your last comment clearer.
Just sayin'... sorry MCR...
stop getting so sensitive about vv's mya.
Oh, I am way behind, but the people who were dissing on Twisted eariler can totally kiss my ass.
Martha, I'm saying that your beef shouldn't be with whatever what member of MCR is doing... It sounds much deeper than that! Get off of MCR and go for what whoud truly make a difference!
hi carrie!
you have a nice christmas?
hi anon. ditto?
Hey it's been nice talking with you all but I have to watch "Clerks" with Stormy now. Talk to you all later.
Sensitive on VV's?
Hardly...
I skimmed the subject... It wasn't earth-shattering to me...
Nite, Elena! Sleep well and have a great tomorrow!
Ergo, where have you been? I missed it! I need details!
bye elena!!
I'll have to go soon too, too much unpacking to do, that is the bit I hate the most
and I need a good sleep, two days driving (well only 6 hrs each day) but it takes it out of you
Damn I refreshed the page and saw Carrie....
Hey Carrie wish I could stay.
Oh and yeah, I totally agree that one anon was simply vile

How many times do I have to tell you or people who make comments like that NO ONE THOUGHT THEY WERE SUPERHEROS. The reason a lot of people got behind them was because they were regular guys who claimed to want to make a difference in the world.
There are worse things going on in the world but right now my concern when I am at the blogs is what happened with the group of regular guys.
Carrie, are you squeaking clean?
we went down to hubby's dad, who has moved to a farm in the south east of the state, an area called the granite belt, lots of lucerne, sunflowers, sheep and wineries
as well as lots of national parks, it' is a really lovely area, shame it's so far away though
We were there for xmas and left yesterday
Then, forgive me, my dear Martha, but it is time you backed away from the blogs...
Go to another blog, or post, that has more substance...
they are out there
Or, maybe... I could start blaming MCR on the South Carolina's Governor deciding to hold back the unemployment checks... And I could blame MCR on the unemployment rate, period!
Sorry...

Right now it is because they are contributing to some of the things I see wrong in the world.
They have the ears of a lot of young people. And you have to go after the people that the young ones admirer if you really want to make changes in the world.
Hello? MCR hasn't had a new record, in how long? The music "of the day" is what speaks to the "teens". That is what make rock music so volatile...
Sorry, MCR...
Sqeauking clean? Well, I did wash with your soap today. :) And Martha, I so still totally disagree with you on like, everything, oh wait, do you like chocolate?

No one is blaming MCR for all the ills of the world Mya.
Why should I have to go to another blog or get off the blogs. You have said things that I don't agree with but I never told you to go somewhere else or get off the blogs.
And MCR isn't what I would call the "changers" in this world. They haven't made it that big... (Sorry again, MCR!) Close, but no cigar...

So what if they haven't had a record out in a few years. How long has it been since the Beatles put out a record yet people still talk about the messages they tried to have in their later years.
Martha, I see this blog an merely an escapism, nothing more...
And, please, don't ever compare the MCR to the Beatles. You truly over-step there!
bye Carrie, have a nice time.
MCR to the Beatles is like a lone wasp to a swarm of killer bees
Carrie, I hope you enjoyed your bath!

This is place where people are allowed to speak their opinion isn't it. Sometimes you have to go to a place where it doesn't appear to matter to get heard.

They got a bunch of their fans to vote for an animal shelter so that it could get some money. That changed the world. You don't have to be the president to inspire someone to be good or bad. YOu just have to have their ear.
See? What some of you don't understand is that there have been bands, all along, that have talked to the "youth" of today - whatever today it is...
there is no "savior band", there is no "hero"...
It is what you want to hear...
Martha, you're pretty good at that copying and pasting...
And you can take that any way you want to
me!
me!
I dont' believe that MCR has "their ear". Kenya West may have it
me!
