Well tempered.

“Something with poison in it, but attractive to the eye, and soothing to the smell.”
-Wicked Witch of the West, The Wizard of Oz

Once upon a fork in the road...

In the corner a ratty green sofa sits butted up against a water ring stained end table. There are at least four three inch burn holes in the snagged, stained fabric. Heavy, dark drapes cover the window. The time of day is a complete mystery to anyone who has spent any time here and time is all but spent.

The sofa, the room smells like piss and acid. Pizza boxes, broken plastic forks and unwanted, half-eaten food are surrounded by empty beer bottles and overfilled ash trays. A bent spoon sits on the coffee table.

Around the corner, the kitchen cupboards are bare, the fridge empty. It’s water and anti-acids for dinner; anything else would be a waste.

“Have you seen your family?”

“Well, you should. I know they miss you.”

The visit was brief and I was grateful to have had the opportunity, but for some reason I can’t help but be thankful for decisions I made long ago. I emerged almost unscathed, at least in that respect. I wish there was more I could do.

"Call me if you need anything."

In that dark room past, present and future all at once delivered upon us both, redemption.

"Yeah, I will."

p.s. it is round there aren't any sides.

Hi Everyone!

PP - Its good to see you around more often. Good luck with the birdie. :)

Wendy - I didn't receive your message. I know you are busy with the holiday, so I'm assuming you didn't have time. But if yahoo is screwing up again, I want to know! Take care of yourself and I was sorry to hear of your accident. I am glad no one was hurt.

BC - Left you a message at your place! Hugs, sweetie!

Mya - I admire you for making an apology. :) Its a difficult thing to do.

TJ - Good luck with the move. I will be moving the same day, myself. I found out unexpectedly, but I think things will work out for the best. I am sending you positive thoughts for the new adventure. *hugs*

Lawful Neutral- A lawful neutral character acts as law, tradition, or a personal code directs him. Order and organization are paramount to him. He may believe in personal order and live by a code or standard, or he may believe in order for all and favor a strong, organized government. Lawful neutral is the best alignment you can be because it means you are reliable and honorable without being a zealot. Chaotic Neutral

Chaotic Neutral- A chaotic neutral character follows his whims. He is an individualist first and last. He values his own liberty but doesn't strive to protect others' freedom. He avoids authority, resents restrictions, and challenges traditions. A chaotic neutral character does not intentionally disrupt organizations as part of a campaign of anarchy. To do so, he would have to be motivated either by good (and a desire to liberate others) or evil (and a desire to make those different from himself suffer). A chaotic neutral character may be unpredictable, but his behavior is not totally random. He is not as likely to jump off a bridge as to cross it. Chaotic neutral is the best alignment you can be because it represents true freedom from both society's restrictions and a do-gooder's zeal. However, chaotic neutral can be a dangerous alignment because it seeks to eliminate all authority, harmony, and order in society.

Thanksgiving Delights

On Thanksgiving Day we’re thankful for
Our blessings all year through,
For family we dearly love,
For good friends, old and new.

For sun to light and warm our days,
For stars that glow at night,
For trees of green and skies of blue,
And puffy clouds of white.

We’re grateful for our eyes that see
The beauty all around,
For arms to hug, and legs to walk,
And ears to hear each sound.

The list of all we’re grateful for
Would fill a great big book;
Our thankful hearts find new delights
Everywhere we look!

Have a delightful day, everyone!

I must get back to work. It's almost 8 a.m. I may have everything done by 1:00. I hope I do!

Hugs and Love,

Okay one of my favorite Thanksgiving memories...

My grandma, my dads mom, was an incredible woman but a cook is was not. We would travel to her house every year for Thanksgiving and this particular year we arrived a day early to find that she had bought a frozen turkey but had forgot to dethaw it. She lived in a huge old house that had large heat vents. So how was she dethawing the turkey? Yep on the floor in a pan in front of the heat vent. Lord it's amazing she never killed us with her cooking. That was the same year I took a bite of the apple pie she'd made and wondered what I was eating. She admitted she thought she was adding a touch of vanilla but it was mint she added. I must say it was an intersting tasting pie. I miss my grandma so much, especially today.

You know this is the first Thanksgiving I'm not watching the Macy's Thanksgiving parade on TV. See it used to be a tradition in our house. Me and the girls would get up early to watch the start of the parade. We'd also venture into town before it started to grab a paper so we could look at all the sale adds for the next day. As we watched the parade we'd search the adds and decide where we wanted to start our shopping day. Lots of times we would get up at 4 am on Friday so we could be at the store of our choice when it opened. Anyway, since none of my daughters were home last night and they all are going shopping with friends tomorrow I didn't get a paper and I'm not watching the parade. And the funny thing is I'm not upset about the shopping part I'm upset because I can't watch the parade. I know that if I did when Santa appears at the end I'd cry. I'd remember how excited the girls would get waiting to see Santa. That was the magic of the parade. I miss that magic.

I truly hope everyone here who is celebrating the holiday has a wonderful day. Thank you friends for being here.

I know how you feel, Elena. Well, kind of. Having a boy is totally different. He doesn't care about stuff like that and he'll never want to get up to go shopping with me the day after Thanksgiving. He's not even here right now! He's next door playing video games with his cousin! I guess that's why I'm so thankful that I have my sister to do those things with.

I ♥ you, Solly! :)

I miss my grandmother, too. She absolutely loved to cook and she was awesome at it. She was awesome at pretty much everything she ever tried to do. The highlight of her whole year was for us to come eat with her on Thanksgiving and Christmas. I'm just sad that my son never got to experience that. He doesn't really know what an amazing and talented great-grandmother he had.

Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I understand. Hope you have a lovely Thanksgiving!

Hi, guys!

The advice for today from most nutritionists is to just not even bother trying to count calories or refrain from eating everything under the sun. So do like me and eat until your faces fall off!

Even if you're in a different country, eat until your face falls off. :D

So! It was just me and an anon who were chaotic good, the rest of you so far are neutral good or straight up neutral. *high fives anon*

Mayo and S(S)S, did you ever take that test? I'll bet that Mayo, you are neutral or neutral good, and S(S)S, I'll bet you are like me: Chaotic good. Amirite? I wonder how far off I am! haha.

What are you?

Oh, and before I go, of course:

THe REAL Homeland Security.

Take a look at it today. And if you feel like it, Adopt a turkey! Not to eat, just to sponsor! ^_^

Okay, have a great day everyone. Later!

Elena, I never knew any of my grandparents. You have those memories and stories to tell and share. I can't believe she was thawing a turkey on a heating vent. That is a good one! Made ne laugh.

I just woke up so I have almost missed the parade but not quite. I am going to watch Santa.

My daughter isn't sharing turkey day with us this year. It's a wierd feeling yet I understand she needs to do her own thing.
I used to like watching her come out of her bedroom all sleepy eyed and mumble Happy Thanksgiving, grab a bowl of cereal sit down with us and watch the parade.

I am not weepy. Nope. A little nostalgic prehaps but defiantely not weepy. (excuse me as I wipe down my wet keyboard)

Thank you, E! I'm just waiting for some folks to show up then I'm going to Mummy and Daddy K's. I was originally going to drive all the way up the Island to pick up my training sister because her family is at the hospital today, but probably not. She's probably going to Sifu's house instead. Oh well, either way, as long as she's not by herself. She's just a kid and it would kill me to think of that.

I wish everyone was having a ball today but I understand that this holiday is complicated for a lot of people.

It's complicated for me, too.

Hi J, L and Amy!

toujours said...

hello, everyone. happy thanksgiving. :)

you know, it's kind of weird, maybe, but i was just realizing that for me, today isn't really about being grateful anymore. i suppose that's because my observance of autumn equinox is all about reflecting over the gifts of the past year -- the harvest, both emotional and material -- and expressing my gratitude to my gods for those things.

over the years, today has morphed into a day of nostalgia for me -- it's a day to remember distant family, and all those wonderful times that have been made more wonderful by the hazy idealism of time and memory. when i used to keep a photo album, i would wait until thanksgiving to put all the photos from the year in it, and today is the day i would watch my favorite holiday movies.

it's weird being here with family! it's been a long time.

anyway, no matter what you guys are doing, i hope everyone who is keeping thanksgiving today has a day filled with lots of tender memories, good ones even if they might not be wholly happy ones.

Hmm, that's a good question, TJ. I love Nightmare Before Christmas. I watched it with Boychild about thirty times last month already. ;D

Actually, my aunts, uncles, and cousins come over, and we usually all end up playing video games and watching funny stuff on youtube. My uncle, who is in his fifties or something, is utterly obsessed with video games. So he and my aunt usually bring a game or two over and we all play those after dinner.

I think today they are bringing Rock Band, and my cousin is bringing Mario Kart or something. O_O

It is pretty awful, they interviewed a young aussie couple who had just arrived for a 2 week stay and were in a cafe, he thought they were fireworks first then saw them, his girlfriend was shot in the leg and he was grazed, then the gunman looked at him, and walked away, he then got them both to a hospital, Now they are trying to figure out how to get people out now, seeing as they don't know what else they'll do

It's another awful, horrible, needless attack. EP. 119 dead and nearly 300 injured. :(

MUMBAI, India – Indian commandoes fought Thursday to wrest control of two luxury hotels and a Jewish center from suspected Muslim militants, a day after a chain of attacks across Mumbai left at least 119 people dead and the city shellshocked.

Gunfire and explosions were heard throughout the day and night from the besieged headquarters of the ultra-orthodox Jewish outreach group Chabad Lubavitch and the Taj Mahal and Oberoi hotels, two of the top gathering spots for the Mumbai elite. Throughout the day, commandoes brought hostages, trapped guests and corpses out of the hotels in small groups while fires erupted periodically and firefighters battled the flames.

State officials said 119 people had died and 288 were injured.

The well-planned attacks began Wednesday night and officials said the gunmen were prepared, even carrying large bags of almonds to keep up their energy during the fight. Their main targets appeared to be Americans, Britons and Jews, though most of the dead seemed to be Indians and foreign tourists caught in the random gunfire.

The gunmen — some of whom strode casually through their targets in khakis and T-shirts — clearly came ready for a siege.

"They have AK-47s and grenades. They have bags full of grenades and have come fully prepared," said Maj. Gen. R.K. Hooda. Vice-Admiral J.S. Bedi, a top naval officer.

Ratan Tata, who runs the company that owns the elegant Taj Mahal, said they appeared to have scouted their targets in advance.

"They seem to know their way around the back office, the kitchen. There has been a considerable amount of detailed planning," he told a news conference.

Throughout the day, black-clad Indian commandos moved through the two hotels room by room in a bid to free the dozens of trapped people.

The Maharashtra state home ministry said dozens of hostages had been freed from the Oberoi and dozens more were still trapped inside. More than 400 people were brought out of the Taj Mahal, and army forces were still scouring the building for survivors early Friday morning.

Late Thursday night, authorities said they had killed three gunmen at the Taj and were sweeping the Oberoi in search of hostages and trapped people.

It remained unclear just how many people had been taken hostage, how many were hiding inside the hotels and how many dead still lay uncounted.

There were conflicting reports about hostages at the Jewish center. A diplomat closely monitoring the site said people were still being held there, though an Indian state official said earlier eight hostages had been released. Both sources spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to talk to the media.

The diplomat said the eight people had likely been hiding in a nearby building.

On Thursday morning, a woman, child and an Indian cook were led out of the building by police, said one witness. The child was identified as Moshe Holtzberg, 2, the son of Rabbi Gavriel Noach Holtzberg, the main representative at Chabad house. The child was unharmed, but his clothes were soaked in blood.

Sandra Samuel, 44, the cook who pulled the boy out the building, said she saw Rabbi Holtzberg, his wife Rivka and two other unidentified guests lying on the floor, apparently "unconscious."

India has been shaken repeatedly by terror attacks blamed on Muslim militants in recent years, but most of those attacks have been coordinated bombings that struck random crowded places: markets, street corners, parks.

These attacks were far more sophisticated — and more brazen.

They began at about 9:20 p.m. with the shooters spraying gunfire across the Chhatrapati Shivaji railroad station, one of the world's busiest terminals. For the next two hours, there was an attack roughly every 15 minutes — the Jewish center, a tourist restaurant, one hotel, then another, and two attacks on hospitals. There were 10 targets in all.

Indian media showed pictures of black and yellow rubber dinghies found by the city's shoreline, apparently used by the gunmen to reach the area. Both of the luxury hotels targeted overlook the Arabian Sea, which surrounds the peninsula of Mumbai.

At the Chhatrapati Shivaji railroad station, a soaring 19th century architectural monument, gunmen fired bullets through the crowded terminal, leaving the floor spattered with blood and corpses.

"They just fired randomly at people and then ran away. In seconds, people fell to the ground," said Nasim Inam, a witness.

Analysts around the world were debating whether the gunmen could have been tied to — or inspired by — al-Qaida.

"It's clear that it is al-Qaida style," but probably not carried out by the group's militants, said Rohan Gunaratna, of the International Center for Political Violence and Terrorism Research in Singapore and author of "Inside Al-Qaida."

"Yesterday's attack is a watershed because for the first time, the terrorists deliberately attacked international targets," he said, noting that symbolic high-profile targets had been chosen, apparently to magnify the effects of the violence.

Indian media reports said a previously unknown group calling itself the Deccan Mujahideen claimed responsibility in e-mails to several media outlets. The Deccan is a region in southern India that was traditionally ruled by Muslim kings.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh blamed "external forces" for the violence — a phrase sometimes used to refer to Pakistani militants, whom Indian authorities often blame attacks on.

"The well-planned and well-orchestrated attacks, probably with external linkages, were intended to create a sense of panic, by choosing high profile targets and indiscriminately killing foreigners," he said in address to the nation.

Survivors of the hotel attacks said the gunmen had specifically targeted Britons and Americans.

Alex Chamberlain, a British citizen dining at the Oberoi, told reporters that a gunman ushered 30 to 40 people from the restaurant into a stairway and ordered everyone to put up their hands.

The gunmen "stopped once and asked, 'Where are you from? Any British or American? Show your ID.' My friend said, 'Tell them you're Italian.' And there I was with my hands up basically thinking I was in a lot of trouble."

Chamberlain said he managed to slip away as the patrons were forced to walk upstairs.

One man brought out of the Oberoi, a who identified himself as a Pole but did not give his name, told reporters he had seen many bodies inside, but refused to elaborate, saying he had promised police not to discuss details of the rescue operation.

Among the dead were at least four Australians and a Japanese, said the state home ministry. An Italian, a Briton and a German were also killed, according to their foreign ministries.

At least three top Indian police officers — including the chief of the anti-terror squad — were among those killed, said Roy.

Among those foreigners still held captive in all three buildings were Americans, British, Italians, Swedes, Canadians, Yemenis, New Zealanders, Spaniards, Turks, French, a Singaporean and Israelis.

The United States, Pakistan and other countries condemned the attacks.

The motive for the onslaught was not immediately clear, but Mumbai has frequently been targeted in terrorist attacks blamed on Islamic extremists, including a series of bombings in July 2006 that killed 187 people.

Mumbai is one of the most populated cities in the world with some 18 million crammed into shantytowns, high rises and crumbling mansions.

India has been wracked by bomb attacks the past three years, which police blame on Muslim militants intent on destabilizing this largely Hindu country. Nearly 700 people have died.

Since May, a militant group calling itself the Indian Mujahideen has taken credit for a string of blasts that killed more than 130 people. The most recent was in September, when explosions struck a park and crowded shopping areas in the capital, New Delhi, killing 21 people and wounding about 100.

Relations between Hindus, who make up more than 80 percent of India's 1 billion population, and Muslims, who make up about 14 percent, have sporadically erupted into bouts of sectarian violence since British-ruled India was split into independent India and Pakistan in 1947.

Hello everyone, I just wanted to wish you all a happy Thanksgiving and I hope your day was full of things to be thankful for.

I spent the day gathered together with my family, eating great food, sharing stories and laughing a lot.

After we had eaten, my dad brought out some of their newest finds for their antique/ebay business. We passed around some awesome old photos and postcards of "male friends", that would be sold in the gay interests category(they were typical of the time, but some of them look very romantic). Then, we decided to turn on the tv and we watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show, which, I know all the words to, by the way. After that the conversation turned to The Dalai Lama, Land Rovers, sushi preperation and politics.

All in all a typical holiday gathering with my family.

hello all. :)

just checking in while my sister and brother-in-law are taking a smoke break outside, then we're going to play "scene it". i've never played it, should be interesting.

it's been a good day, a little strange, but okay. i guess i'm not used to being around people on thanksgiving anymore.

i was reading about the mumbai attacks earlier. the thought of being in that city while being attacked, so randomly, so constantly throughout the day, is chilling. it is horrible.

oh, they're done, so i'd best get back. take care everyone. things are weird here, i know. we aren't as many as we were, and sometimes it seems like we aren't as close, but you really are all family to me.

So this is Christmas
And what have you done
Another year over
And a new one just begun
And so this is Christmas
I hope you have fun
The near and the dear ones
The old and the young

A very merry Christmas
And a happy New Year
Let's hope it's a good one
Without any fear

And so this is Christmas
War is over
For weak and for strong
If you want it
For rich and the poor ones
War is over
The road is so long
Now

And so happy Christmas
War is over
For black and for white
If you want it
For yellow and red ones
War is over
Let's stop all the fights
Now
And so this is Christmas
War is over
And what have we done
If you want it
Another year over
War is over
And a new one just begun
Now

And so happy Christmas
War is over
I hope you have fun
If you want it
The near and the dear one
War is over

mayo,

today was good, and that was maybe a bit of a surprise. there were still plenty of moments where i realised i speak a completely different language than the people who were sitting at the table with me, but that just helped me keep looking forward. i can't ever be what they want. i won't truly ever be understood by them, only tolerated by them because i'm their daughter and their sister. i will always be the foreign exchange student who stayed.

but there was a purely happy moment today -- my sister gave me a coat she had been hanging onto, my dad's old winter weather airforce coat.

i tried it on, it's heavy. it has a button-in liner, and the whole thing weighs five pounds i swear! but it fit, and even looked pretty snazzy, which means i can wear it.

i get to have a talisman from his life to wrap around me.

i suppose i'm silly for this, but having something real, something physical helps me so much. i suppose it's a weakness of mine, but momentos give me comfort and courage. they stand in for the people important to me, and help me feel not so lonely.

it's not just a coat for this winter, it's my dad.

good night mayo. i'm always wishing you well.

Hope you had a lovely day, I finished my work finally, I just don't think it's what I want to do any more. I enjoy teaching, but sometimes it just is behaviour management, rather than giving knowledge. Plus my boss is totally disinterested in having me back part-time, but I know he didn't expect me to say I'd resign. Worth telling him just to see him waffle as I walked away. Working with him is a big reason I'm less interested in returning too. I know I can still tutor and that is far more fulfilling. Sometimes you just have to make a decision that's best for you don't you.
Wishing you satisfaction, warmth, comfort and fulfilment

OMG is it true a Wal-Mart employee got killed opening the doors to the store? WTF?

India is still under attack?

God I know why I hate to watch the news.

Anonymous said...

That's true, Elena. It happened out here on Long Island. O_O WTF. Seriously.

Anonymous said...

NEW YORK – A Wal-Mart worker was killed Friday after an "out of control" throng of shoppers eager for post-Thanksgiving bargains broke down the doors at a suburban store and knocked him to the ground, police said.

At least four other people, including a woman eight months pregnant, were taken to hospitals for observation or minor injuries, and the store in Valley Stream on Long Island closed for several hours before reopening.

Nassau police said about 2,000 people were gathered outside the store doors at the mall about 20 miles east of Manhattan. The impatient crowd knocked the man to the ground as he opened the doors, leaving a metal portion of the frame crumpled like an accordion.

"This crowd was out of control," said Nassau police spokesman Lt. Michael Fleming. He described the scene as "utter chaos."

Dozens of store employees trying to fight their way out to help the man were also getting trampled by the crowd, Fleming said. Witnesses said that even as the worker lay on the ground, shoppers streamed into the store, stepping over him.

Kimberly Cribbs, who witnessed the stampede, said shoppers were acting like "savages."

"When they were saying they had to leave, that an employee got killed, people were yelling 'I've been on line since yesterday morning,'" she said. "They kept shopping."

The 34-year-old man was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 6 a.m., police said. The exact cause of death has not been determined, and the man's name was not released.

A 28-year-old pregnant woman was taken to a hospital, where she and the baby were reported to be OK, said police Sgt. Anthony Repalone. At least three other people were taken to hospitals with minor injuries.

Police said criminal charges were possible in the case, but Fleming said it would be difficult to identify individual shoppers. Authorities were reviewing surveillance video.

Wal-Mart Stores Inc., based in Bentonville, Ark., called the incident a "tragic situation" and said the employee came from a temporary agency and was doing maintenance work at the store.

"The safety and security of our customers and associates is our top priority," said Dan Fogleman, a company spokesman. "At this point, facts are still being assembled and we are working closely with the Nassau County Police as they investigate what occurred."

Shoppers around the country line up early outside stores on the day after Thanksgiving in the annual bargain-hunting ritual known as Black Friday. It got that name because it has historically been the day when stores broke into profitability for the full year.

Nothing Elena. Nothing.
They could have been selling a million dollar home for $100 and that still would not be an excuse to behave that way.

hi K elena anon

K about feeling remorse, probably not, it seems there is little of that around now it is acceptable to blame anything but yourself for things that happen. They call it "shoppping rage" and it's not your fault anymore.

A guy died in a car accident down south, he and his wife's car hit by teens in a possibly stolen performance vehicle. Both trapped, they sat on the gutter and watched while others tried to help, and a mate bought them McDonalds. The whole country cannot believe it!

Yup yup yup. Nothing is ever anyone's own fault anymore. It's this rage, that rage, the other person's fault, the parent's fault, the friend's fault, his fault, her fault, the store's fault, McDonald's fault, drugs.

Bullshit.

ergoproxy said...

HI BC

it's an attitude I abhor, it's that constant "I am more important, you can't do that to me, it's not my fault, you can't tell me what to do" the traditional constraints of morality and manners are almost lost in this self-centred part society
Whether you are religious or not the "do unto others as you would have them do unto you" is a good thing

Anonymous said...

Ergo, I am sad to say I agree with you and with anon. I've got a feeling that the people who did it probably know that they are responsible, but will find a way to deny, even to themselves, that it had anything to do with them. "Someone shoved me" or "I didn't see him" or something like that. Things look blurry in retrospect to people like that, I suspect.

Anonymous said...

10:01 you make me so happy! I had the greatest time with all of my family yesterday. I know you did too. I hope to talk to you soon. Be well.

Hi there Ergo. I couldn't help saying that. When I read the article earlier, it made me so angry and embarrassed to be human.

It horrifies me to see how people behave these days.

elena said...

I so agree. It just seems that anymore the whole thought process of so many is "it's not my fault. Someone else made me do it, they made me act like that." Shit, people need to take responsibility for their own actions.

Anonymous said...

Too right you are.

I can't even bear the thought of being in crowds, pushing and shoving and getting all aggressive. To be honest, it makes me uncomfortable at concerts, too, even where that's kind of expected.

But shopping? Shopping?

What did Eliza say about "a complete waste of time?"

I think that Gerard may have offered his two cents on the matter.

So what's even better than old Jarvis Cocker?

New Jarvis Cocker.

He has somehow managed to dress even better than he used to, and his solo record, "Jarvis" is incredible.

Check out "Don't Let Him Waste Your Time"

Well you can stay all night if you want to
you can hang out with all of his friends
you can go and meet his mother and father
you better make sure that's where it ends

cause baby, there is one thing you gotta know....

let him read your palm and guess your sign.
let him take you home and treat you fine....
but baby, don't let him waste your time
don't let him waste your time

Cause the years fly by in an instant
and you wonder what he's waiting for
and then some skinny bitch walks by in some hotpants
and he's running out the door

so remember that one thing that you gotta know...

let him read your palm
and guess your sign
let him take you home and treat you so fine
but baby, don't let him waste your time

don't let him waste your time...

You ain't getting no younger
and you've got nothing to show
so tell him that it's now or never
and then go go go go go!!!

he can have his space and he can take his time
and he can kiss ya where the sun don't shine
but baby, don't let him waste your time

don't let him waste your time...

Of course I could be reading more into it than there actually is. Maybe it really is an attempt to expand the musical taste of the MCR website trolls.

Do you think Eliza trolls that website?

I do.

Hi, Mayo!

Hi, Elena!

My daughter said Twilight was good. Hope you enjoy it as well!

I did NOT go shopping today! No! I am not crazy! Thank you!

I have been spending my Black Friday just resting up! My family and I had a great Thanksgiving, full of good company and good food! I hope everyone else had a great day as well!

I'm wondering about something... Is Twitter gonna replace this place?

elena said...

Hey Mya

I'm sorry you're feeling stressed and tired, sweetcheeks. :(

I'm doing much better. Thanks for asking. My cough is almost gone now!

Well, I better go start picking up all those ornament boxes thrown all over my hall. I'll throw them back in their big plastic totes and then drag the totes back to the garage!

I'll check back later. Ya'll have fun and try not to get into too much trouble ~ without me!
