Your subtlety lacks finesse. Either it is, or it isn’t.
And, we know it is.
But it is incomplete, isn’t it. What is it that was left out or held back?
Well, let me remind you.
Fear at all hours of the day and night. And, I couldn’t breathe without suggesting abandon, so I suffocated from repression. Then, managing the never ending time spent attempting to quell your irrational needs killed me. It was never enough, the time, the attention, the truth, so I finally caved. Yet, the debate continued. And, you couldn’t stop me or make me change my mind, and that infuriated you. But, instead of pushing so hard you would have been better off just killing time.
But, I relent and you suffer delusion and sometimes it was the other way around.
It was like this; there, assembled from misery, denial and frustration, we produced an alternate reality. Can we just admit that it was unnatural? Not quite forced, but awfully close. If so, then we’ll leave it at that.
In the end, it was finished. I’m surprised we held out as long as we did.
And yes, “it was grand, and we have the pictures to prove it.”
Now it’s just shit and we are both shoveling.
p.s. while hiding beneath the window, crying.

I was hoping you would tell us about the cemetery experience.
Mayo,
How are ya? I hope you are well. Me? I'm good tonight, pretty good.
I was all prepared, okay well not really prepard, but I was going to come in here and talk and ramble and misinterpret and dissect like I pretty much always do. But, I think I'm just gonna let this one be what it is.
And what it is, is what it was. Past tense, apparently.
So...
I'll just share a little bit about my situation and how your post relates to my life.
See, I pretty much lived in a relationship like that for 6 1/2 years and now, mine is also finished. I play all the roles in my head. One day it's all his fault, the next it's all my fault, on Wednesday it doesn't matter, by Friday, I am questioning everything and anything and why. By Sunday, I'm completely over it and Monday, it starts all over again. And I don't know how long it will take. And I am finally realizing that it really doesn't matter who did what. Pointing fingers and placing blame is just a waste of time. He remembers it one way and I remember it somehow differently. Just because I shed more tears, does that mean he hurt less? Just because I told him often how much I loved him, does that mean he cared less?
I guess the bottomline is this...he told me that our relationship could never work and I think deep down in my heart I never ever really believed that it would. Doomed from the start!!
So we both played the game, hung out, hung in as long as we could, and along the way we managed to make some pretty good memories and maybe we didn't hurt each other too much. We will both live to love another day.
It is what it is. It was what it was. Sometimes a glass is neither half full or half empty. It's just a glass, and we drink when we're thirsty.
What?
Okay, I guess that's enough for tonight. Geewhiz, Solly, for someone who wasn't going to say a whole lot, you sure did have a whole lot of nothing to say.
Yeah, well...
Goodnight, Mayo. Sweet dreams.
Love to YOU Always,
S
p.s. Shit can be quite useful. Just sayin...You just gotta know what to do with it and where to put it.
Elena,
I read what happened to your daughter and just, OH MY GOD! That's so freaky scary! She's really lucky and I'm so glad she's gonna be okay.
Sounds like something that would happen in our family. The weirder the accident, the better!
Smoke put up some of the cemetery pics at DM if you'd like to see. We went there just to innocently take full moon pics and made friends with a black cat.
O_O
Or at least it presented itself as a black cat....
o_O
Elena, for serious. O_O That is some scary stuff. I'm glad you are both okay. Must be shocking to see your kid standing there covered in blood. Jeez!
yeah K it was pretty scary. She called a little while ago and asked me if she can bring me her white coat so I can try to get the blood stains out.
hello
♥♥
Doesn't baking soda paste remove bloodstains really well? I thought Teej had told me that one time.
Also, Hello.
Awww, E, that sucks. Blood stains are permanent once they set unless you use something hardcore like bleach, but that so often ruins the fabric. I guess it depends on the fabric.
But, screw the coat! As long as she's all right. :)
Ah, I was wrong. Close though.
Blood
Sprinkle stain with salt and rinse in cold water. (For dried blood, soak in cold salted water for 30 minutes or until stain loosens.) If that doesn't zap stain, soak in liquid enzyme detergent and cold water for 30 minutes and then rinse well. If stain remains, make a paste of lukewarm water mixed with cornstarch, unseasoned meat tenderizer or baking soda. Rub into stain and let dry. Brush off powder and rinse well with cold water. Apply spot stain remover to the stain and let stand for several minutes. Then launder with liquid enzyme detergent.
Well, they encourage your complete co-operation...
Welp, I'm gonna watch my Files, eat a pomegranate, read my books and go to bed. I loves me my comfort habits. :)
E, if you ever come across Dragonlance books in your stores, take a peek; Raistlin is one of the best characters written in fantasy IMO. ^_^
La Principesa, I hope your birthday was beautiful and sparkly, like you are. :D You and your family are so lucky. I always envy the sisterly love you and Solly have; it's so special. So are you both and I don't mean that in the "lol you two are special" kind of way. ;D
You truly are a royal and you live up to the noblesse oblige. :D
Good night!
so give them blood, blood gallons of the stuff
give them all that they can drink and it will never be enough
hydrogren peroxide or a detergent with enzymes also removes blood stains.
I'm the kind of human wreckage that you love!
Hallo Amy. That's a horrible story you posted. Do you live in the area?
so give them blood, blood, blood
Hallo 10:30, unfortunately I do. The kidnapping happened about 5 blocks from my house. So, the police are warning women not to leave without telling someone where they're going, or carrying a cellphone.
It's a trifle unnerving. I wish I still had a dog.
Thanks for the blood removing info guys.
I hope I can get the stains out. She just bought that coat and she loves it.
Thanks to science and modern technology blood stains are no longer permanent.
One can generally remove blood stains from acrylic, cotton/linen, nylon, polyester or similar fabrics laundering them in cold water. One can soak any remnant stain with a solution consisting of a quart of warm water, half a teaspoon of dishwashing or liquid laundry detergent and a tablespoon of ammonia for fifteen minutes. One should scrape off any excess solid or caked-on stains and blot occasionally with an absorbent pad. Repeat this process as long as it takes to remove the stain. Afterwards, rinse the area well with water, once again ensuring that no ammonia remains. One can then dry or launder the fabric.
To remove blood stains from synthetic or woolen carpets, one needs to spray a product such as Stain-X Carpet Stain Remover on the affected area. One can also mix a teaspoon of mild, non-alkali detergent with half a pint of lukewarm water, apply some of this to the stain and blot the liquid. It is important not to rub the stain further into the fibers. The blotting process continues until the stain vanishes. If any stains persist, one can add a tablespoon of ammonia to a cup of water and sponge the stain with this mixture, blotting it afterwards. Placing an absorbent pad over the damp area and weighing it down will draw out all excess liquid.
To remove blood stains from natural or synthetic fur, blot up the blood, soak a cloth in mildly soapy water laced with a few drops of ammonia and rub this solution into the stain carefully. Then rinse by dipping a cloth in cool water, wringing it partially dry and stroking the area with this carefully. The area should dry naturally, with no artificial heat.
Never use bleach.
That is unnerving Amy. Be extra careful.
Do they have any leads on the scumbag?
Sort of. Apparently, the dude was calling some girl while the sexual assaults were happening. At one point, he had his victim tell the girl what he was doing to her.
So, scumbag is a polite term. But they've said that he's dark skinned, muscular, bald with a scar, and around 6'4".
I just hope the person who finds him makes the wise decision to run him over with a vehicle before turning him into police.
Solly, your post reminded me of this song:
seven days was all she wrote
A kind of ultimatum note
She gave to me, she gave to me
When I thought the field had cleared
It seems another suit appeared
To challenge me, woe is me
Though I hate to make a choice
My options are decreasing mostly rapidly
Well well see
I dont think shed bluff this time
I really have to make her mine
Its plain to see
Its him or me
Monday, I could wait till tuesday
If I make up my mind
Wednesday would be fine, thursdays on my mind
Fridayd give me time, saturday could wait
But sundayd be too late
The fact that hes six feet ten
Might instill fear in other men
But not in me, the mighty flea (flee? )
Ask if I am mouse or man
The mirror squeaked, away I ran
Hell murder me in time for his tea
Does it bother me at all
My rival is neanderthal, it makes me think
Perhaps I need a drink
Iq is no problem here
We wont be playing scrabble for her hand I fear
I need that beer
Monday, I could wait till tuesday
If I make up my mind
Wednesday would be fine, thursdays on my mind
Fridayd give me time, saturday could wait
But sundayd be too late
Seven days will quickly go
The fact remains, I love her so
Seven days, so many ways
But I cant run away
Monday, I could wait till tuesday
If I make up my mind
Wednesday would be fine, thursdays on my mind
Fridayd give me time, saturday could wait
But sundayd be too late
Do I have to tell a story
Of a thousand rainy days since we first met
Its a big enough umbrella
But its always me that ends up getting wet
For four-and-a-half hours, the suspect and the two victims
were driven to different parts of the city. The female victim
was sexually assaulted several times along the route.
Is it legal to carry mace or pepper spray in Canada? I would carry more than a cellphone.
And Amy, eek!
10:43, pepper spray is legal I think. But you can only have... I think a 4oz bottle or something. It's good for two sprays at the most.
What is worrying the police so much was that this guy broke down the back door of the workplace this girl was at, and threatened her with a gun. So he's not afraid to possibly have someone catch a glimpse of his face, and I doubt he's afraid to use his weapon.
I just hope the person who finds him makes the wise decision to run him over with a vehicle before turning him into police.
I would suggest running over him a few times
then calling the police.
I was being very generous and polite describing him as a scumbag.
Did they find the woman "Deanna"?
You're telling me Carrie.
That just sounds like one of the crazy paranoid scenarios I go through in my head on a daily basis, and I just fucking hate it when it comes true for someone. No fair, world!
They haven't said anything in the news yet, but the "Deanna" bit was just released today. This happened on Tuesday afternoon.
But really, if he'd do that to some random stranger, whoever this "Deanna" is, she must be scared shitless.
Hallo Carrie.
I hope somebody catches up to him before he kidnaps and rapes anymore women. If he is 6'4 I don't think 2 squirts of pepper spray would stop him. Be careful Amy.
Hello anon. You guys, I saw a truly disturbing movie tonight called Pathology, anyone else seen it?
10:52, I don't think so either. Sounds like nothing short of a lead pipe to the head would stop this guy.
I might have to start carrying my shinai to "kendo practice" with me.
I haven't Carrie. It sounds interesting. Do you recommend seeing it?
I always pictured Canada as this picturesque Eden of people saying "Aboot" and such.
Carrie, nope. I've never even heard of it.
Do what you have to do Amy. No one in their right mind will blame you.;)
'Nite Amy & Carrie.
Hmm, depends on your tolerance level. There was mucho freakiness all up in there, but in the end it was a very interesting character study. Plus, you get to see Milo Viwhatshisface from Heros ass.
Carrie, it very much is, in certain places. But it's like everywhere else in the world. There's good parts and bad parts. And there's not anything that can usually be done to stop it.
I personally love Calgary. I think it's a beautiful city, and I do generally feel safe walking around, even at night. I think that's because I'm not involved in anything that would normally get you in trouble here (gangs, drugs), so I don't really worry.
But that guy, that was something else. There's been reports of attempted kidnappings around the city before, but always kids. Nothing as brazen as this.
Goodnight Anon!
Milo Ventimiglia?
He's not bad I guess. Hair's a little too emo for me, but hey, whatever floats your boat.
Yeah, anything like that is just unsettling. I live in a suburby kinda town, where the biggest crimes are drugs and such. We did have a murder last year, two cracked out teens did in a nice old woman who had done a ton of society work and such. These are the things that make me pissed off at God, who I do believe in, if any anons are taking notes. She lives her whole life, giving to the community, and gets done in by a couple of teen thugs with a hammer. Doesn't seem fair, but then yeah, many things don't seem fair. Shouldn't think too much, just leads to depression.
Things like that make me mad. Capital Puninshment should still be allowed in some cases, because I really can't help but wonder if some criminals are just bratty kids who hate not getting their own way, and will do anything to keep things the way they want them.
hey
Could be, Amy, in this case, having seen the actual pics of these dudes in the newspaper, it looked like total inbreeding up in there. They, I don't know, their eyes, were just flat. They didn't even look human. It was scary.
Hey BC. What's up?
hey BC.
Damn Amy sorry to hear about the kidnapping. I hope they find the fucker.
Nothing much happening. Spent my day at the doctor's, then at the shop looking for some boots. My legs are killing me.
How about you?
Hi there Carrie.
BC, you're too young to have so many ailments, woman. You're at the prime of your life, rawr and all that. Don't be old and crippled up before your time!
Agreed! BC, you need to spend less time on your feet!
hi all!
Hi amy carrie BC
Gotta go to bed ladies, sorry for short stay, but I am still glad there always seems to be someone hanging round the castle.
Hallo Ergo!
Goodnight Carrie!
Tell her. Tell her. Tell her tell her tell her tell her tell her tell her.
goodnight carrie sweet dreams
Man, I love Mitch Hedberg.
Aw man, Ergo! Sorry, got to get my (possibly abnormal) sleep on. Hope you had a good day, Aussie lass!
thanks Carrie I did I ma finishing up the school tutoring program so have been testing kids and the ALL IMPROVED!!!
Some dramatically!
I am very proud of them :]
I told you that you were a good teacher!
BC, you're too young to have so many ailments, woman. You're at the prime of your life, rawr and all that. Don't be old and crippled up before your time!
------------------------------------------------------
I know Carrie. I can say that it totally sucks being sick for 4 weeks now, but according to the doctor, it's some kind of viral or bacteria infection, and the only cure is to drink a lot of water, tylenol, and just go through it naturally.
It's been going around, apparently. I'm getting blood tests done tomorrow :/
Anyways, sweet dreams!
Hallo ergo!
You should be so proud of yourself ergo :)
BC if that is all you can do it'd be a virus
you just have to wait it out unfortunately and treat the symptoms
thanks Amy, but the kids worked hard too, so they were a big part
Mayo
Well I really don’t have time for a proper goodnight so this will have to do. I’ll be honest the last few day have been a bit stressful. Oh hell, a bit stressful? Okay, they have been brutal. But what happened yesterday with Flighty made me realize that no matter how bad things seem they can always get worse. So I guess the lesson here is don’t fucking whine about shit cause that can come back and bite you on the ass. Wow, nice lesson, right? What I’m trying to say is that I need to learn to deal with things from day to day. I need to remember that even though things seem really bad, I’m lucky. As long as my family is safe and healthy then the rest of the shit is just shit. I gotta just handle each thing as it comes along and not dwell on it. Take on day at a time and not get broken down. Yeah, sometimes that’s easier said then done. But you now what? This place, these people help me more than I will ever be able to explain. Always in the back of my mind I know that I have friends here who will listen and some days that’s all I really need. I hope in someway you sorta feel the same about us. The situation for you is a bit different but truly if you think about it, it’s not. We’re here to listen to you and to offer support. I hope you realize that. Okay, tons of work to do and it ain’t getting done with me rattling. Take Care.
Night Mayo
Elena
Hi guys
Sorry I can't stay and chat but I didn't just wanna post Mayo's goodnight and not say hello.
Love to all of you. Hope to talk to you tomorrow.
goodnight elena sweet dreams
Hi Elena!
Goodnight Elena!
Ergo, yeah that's what the doctor said(I don't really like her though, since my other doctor wasn't in today, hehe)
But I'm getting bloodwork done just in case.
Goodnight elena. Take care.
good idea you want to be sure
anon 11:31 I now have that song "Tell Him" in my head!!!
all quiet on the mayoestern front tonight...
quiet?
do i need to whisper?
hi TJ!
Hi there TJ
hi ergo! hi bc!
and how are you guys?
good, just have to go meet the bus then my student will be here
so i'll only have a few minutes
Hallo Teej.
*tumbleweed*
hi amyranth. :)
eek! only a few minutes! but what shall we talk about in such a short time ergo? oh dear oh dear oh dear...
She's already run to catch the bus, I think.
How's your article coming?
fooey.
i finished my revisions and sent it back to my editor, amyranth. i was very happy when i heard back from him, even though he had cut out several paragraphs and wanted changes. he said he liked my writing.
:)
I'm alright TJ, how about you?
Ooh good! Constructive criticism is the best, especially with writing.
It's not major adjustments either I take it?
that's good to hear, bc, especially with all your recent doctor visits. i'm okay too. :)
nah, amyranth, he just needed a couple of additions to pull the piece together. and i agreed with all his edits, too -- sometimes, the research tends to lead me astray (and you know i can be oh-so-ever-so-slightly long-winded *grin*).
I iz back!
and my student didn't turn up!
Teej, I find it's really hard to edit your own writing anyway, and I guess it's at the discretion of the boss to begin with.
But it is an honor to be asked, the only thing I ever had published was a letter in the newspaper, ranting about how all-girls schools were not bad for the girls or for the boys.
whoo! ergo's got time off!
whaddya gonna do with your free time?? :)
have a relax TJ, it'll be nice
and I can still chat which is even better!
that's true, amyranth. i've always asked for proof-readers whenever i've had something to submit, because i know they'll see holes that i don't.
and i was very pleased when the editor answered my inquiry. it's exciting to think someone wants my words and is willing to pay for them!
ah, a relax is nice, ergo. put your feet up, tuck a flower behind your ear and let me bring you some of mayo's coffee (it's better than starbucks -- don't tell anyone i said that!!)
starbucks sucks
*gasp*
*faints from shock*
starbucks is a treat for me, I have coffee elena sent me though
I don't mind Starbucks Iced Tea Lemonade. I think it's great on a hot day. I'm not much of a coffee drinker though.
Besides, I was raised on Tim Horton's.
is that all it takes for you to faint? doesn't take much. hate it. too much cream.
I loooove lemon iced tea in hot weather
Mine needs like, a pound of sugar though.
I had rose petal iced lemonade once. That was really good.
can't you ask for it without?
*sits up*
i faint easily, when neccessary.
and actually, when it comes to the take home stuff, i prefer bags of tully's instead.
Or Lavender tea. But I generally don't like real tea with ice cubes in it. Too... unfamiliar I guess.
apparently "server error" means "I am going to post your comment 3 times!"
why you check your kids homework
Server Error is Blogger's way of saying "Go to bed. NAO."
At least to me :P
a pole dancer! better then working at starbucks!
ergo that's hilarious!
amyranth, you taking off for the night then? sweet dreams to you. :)
oh, and actually, i've heard working at starbucks is a real sweet deal, even part-time. full benefits, profit-sharing, one pound coffee free every week.
and a contact high from the coffee fumes!
:D
apparently the mum worked at Home Depot and was selling a shovel
(I got it in an email)
sounds like a perfect job for you toujours. you should apply at starbucks.
*yawns*
Yeah, I suppose I should fuck off for the night. I get to sleep late tomorrow!
Goodnight Teej, Ergo, Mayo, SS and Lurkers!
-A
selling a shovel. uh huh. suuure.
which is why the kid in the top-right corner is throwing his money at her, right?
;)
good night, amyranth!
i probably will end up doing just that, eventually, anon. after all, acquiring barista skills in seattle is like teaching a man to fish. ;)
goodnight Amy sweet dreams
TJ you should see if you can apply., you never know!
ha, maybe i will! but the priority is always a bookstore, you know.
booooooooooks. ♥
a starbucks attacked to a bookstore
=
perfection
no starbucks=perfection
they are apparently closing some of the Aussie starbucks I don't think we have the same coffee culture as the US
part of why some starbucks are being closed ergo is due to the new policies by the owner. from what i understand, the original owner of starbucks recently reacquired it and is scaling back in an effort to return it to its original ideals. he believes the franchise grew too big, too rapidly.
I think he's right, a lot of things do that, like ABC learning centers here, are in HUGE trouble financially at the moment, too big too fast
but we don't have that sort of culture either really, being in a lot of places a really hot country, and really spread out
i can see why it might be just a novelty in your country, ergo. in seattle, we joke that our coffee addiction is simply a result of survival skills. :)
hahaha
I can imagine in a big city it would be
you'd be amazed at our cities, they are really spread out and small compared to over there
that, and the fact that from about this time of year to the end of february or march you don't really see the sun in seattle. a columnist once described our winter as "living inside a pearl", which is just lovely but doesn't convey how truly cold and damp it is, as well. :)
i love the cold
anon I like the cold too, especially now as it's heading towards so stinking hot
at least cold you can dress warm
when it's hot you can only strip down so far then there is nothing left, and you may get a lot of unwanted attention from the authorities.
I don't like air conditioning all the time, I try to avoid using it at home
living inside a pearl sounds pretty, but I do imagine reality wouldn't be, we get a lot of fog here in winter and it looks pretty but is usually damp
the heat is good at night, especially when there is a nice breeze.
cold is better. i love lots of warm toasty blankets.
cold is best, imo. there's a reason i'm called a winter witch. :)
ergo, i'm told when i was a kid i asked my mom if she would rather die in fire or ice, and she said ice, and stated as her reason pretty much what you said: you can always put on more clothes to warm up, but once you're hot, you're hot.
I mush prefer sleeping in the cold, snuggled up under blankets is better than sweating
a breeze is nice, but in the middle of summer here they are often rare at night
but once you're hot, you're hot.
and I am
*licks finger*
*places on hip*
*goes "tsssssssssssssss"*
XD
is there such a thing as a summer witch?
the good thing about you being on the other side of the globe, ergo, is that i can visit you in winter without missing my own.
very efficient!
but for now, i should be getting to bed (under blankets, in a cold room *grin*)
good night ergo, it was good to get a chance to chat with you tonight. :)
good night anon(s).
sweet dreams all, no matter whether you like starbucks or not! :)
Hello Mayo, SS, Ergo *smoooooooch*, TJ, anon(s) and lurkers!
How are you all tonight? Good, I hope! Did you all have a good day/night?
"Living inside a pearl" does sound very romantic, TJ. Can I live inside a black one? I think I would like that!
Speaking of black (well, I did mention it), I have a treat for you all. Especially Amy and Sweetcheeks/BC!
He is so smart and interesting!
And, poetic! Whether you like black metal or not, you can't deny the man is all those abovementioned things. Color me black and red (again) and all the shades of Loup Garou! ;)
The official ~ four years in the making/interviewing/writing ~ book will be out around Easter. Mark your calenders, please!
:D
Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~
6/Wendy
Hi PJ!
goodnight TJ sweet dreams!
you could follow winter around the world!
Winter is good for camping too,
but you can't swim in winter, and I do love swimming in the creeks
lol ergo! *heeheeheehee*
anon, there might be, and why not? i know some pagans who love running around barefoot wearing flowers in their hair, so i suppose it's true. :)
okey-doke, sweet dreams!
hi wendy!
*smooooooooooooooch*
*hugs* for you, wendy! gotta make my good nights, but i'm glad we met at the door. :)
Ooops, I forgot, sorry for the interruption!
I can't stay and chat tonight. I'm sad about that. Don't know if anyone else is; but, I am! ;)
Anon: I like cozy blankets too. And warm fires!
Goodnight Mayo, SS, Ergo, TJ, anon(s).
Sweet dreams to one and all!!!!
*blows kisses*
you can swim in an indoor pool in winter, or what about a hot spa?
*runs back in ONCE MORE*
*grabs TJ and plants a big kiss right on her lips*
*smooooooooches Ergo, again*
See ya'll, sometime, tomorrow. I hope!
well anon if we had one it'd be good, unfortunately not really common in the country
but I suppose I could fill the bath and make bubbles?
bye wendy!!!
*SMOOOOOOOOOOOOCH*
to keep you until next time!
Mayo, out of all of your posts, this has got to be one of the most gut-wrenching things I've read. From both sides. I feel it; almost all too well.
Sorry I popped in last night without a thought...Kind of a usual thing for me. :/
Elena, take care of Flighty. Fuck, of course you will...You are one of the most amazing moms ever! My CD burner is still fucked (ummm the whole desktop is fuckered)...I owe her some songs. Give her big hugs from me the next time. What an amazing lady you've raised. Just sayin'.
♥ to all of you.
mayo,
i read this book today, borderliners, by peter høeg. it was a little difficult to get into at first, not because it was dense, or unreadable, but because it's translated from the danish. and so, just like when i read shakespeare, i had to give my mind the space it needed to absorb the rhythm and flavor of a different language. once i had the flow of it, i honestly couldn't put it down.
the backcover has a blurb that claims the book is like "the catcher in the rye meets a brief history of time" and it was, a bit. but it also was an amazing peek into someone else's perspective of the world, and a thoughtful read about how we connect with others.
it was a good book, and i recommend it. it lifted the curtain on my assumptions of how our perceptions shape our world, and made me look at them from the other side.
it was the color of my day today. once i had acquired the flavor of høeg's language, it tinted my thoughts. it was pleasant.
that's all. today was a book.
good night, mayo.
Goodnight TJ, anima, sugarplum
hi anima!
hope you're well
goodnight BC sweet dreams
Nite BC, Ergo, TJ, Wendy, anons, all of blogbelieve. :)
P.S. Starbucks is a good company to work for...I did it and I was treated pretty damn good. Very thankful.
Ergo I am good! I hope you are too. ♥
goodnight anima sweet dreams ♥
Thanks for the video link Sugarplum *blows kisses and giant hugs*
Dani looks like he gained some weight. Totally different without the makeup on.
I am off for the night. Goodnight Ergo, if you're still about.
Sugarplum, about that mambo and plastic beads, well, there will definitely be no flashing. Haha. I shall try my best to make it down to New Orleans, although there's no guarantees.
I hope you're well *smothers with kisses*
Miranth: I sent you an email.
Night night.
morning mayo!
morning SS!
morning everybody!
can't stop just found a couple of interesting things. well one interesting and one very funny. thought i'd share!
funny article about interviewing rock stars in a phone interview. they mention Frank at the end of the article. so funny!
apparantly this was in yesterdays NME. i've not bought it yet. interesting?? still won't believe it til i see it but there ya go!
gotta fly!
♥
that NME interview is hard to read but you can make it out. and there is a date at the bottom so it is yesterdays.
why am i such a cynical witch?!
byeeee.
See these eyes so green
I can stare for a thousand years
Don't you know my name
Can't you see it's been so long
See these tears so blue
An ageless heart that can never mend
Tears that never dry
See these eyes so red
Red like jungle burning bright
And you've been putting out the fire with gasoline

how are you feeling today? Did your post get it off your chest? Do you now feel settled, your emotions finally given voice? or do you feel empty, the feelings vacated a space that is yet to be filled?
I hope it is the former, though if it is the latter I hope that you will take great care in finding that which can take it's place. That you use your time wisely either way, knowing that your expressed emotions have power of their own, both to harm and to heal.
Wishing you prudence, understanding, reflection and strength, much love EP xx
SS
hoping you are well, and every desire you have is well on the way to being fulfilled. For you tonight ancient wisdom, still so relevant today
"To be satisfied with a little, is the greatest wisdom; and he that increaseth his riches, increaseth his cares; but a contented mind is a hidden treasure, and trouble findeth it not. "
Akhenaton
I have always felt you are a person who is able to see the greatness in the simplest of things, Hoping that you can revel in that which you have, and the richness it brings, rather than the endless pursuit of something always just out of reach.
Sending you ability, stamina and fortitude
lotsa love EP xx
goodnight blogbelieve, see you in my morning

The Same Boy You've Always Known
You fell down of course
and then you got up of course
and started over
forgot my name of course
then you started to remember
pretty tough to think about
the beginning of december
pretty tough to think about
pretty tough to think about
pretty tough to think about
You're looking down again
and then you look me over
we're laying down again
on a blanket in the clover
the same boy you've always known
well I guess I haven't grown
the same boy you've always known
same boy you've always known
Think of what the past did
it could 've lasted
so put it in your basket
I hope you know a strong man
who can lend you a hand
lowering my casket
I thought this is just today
and soon you'd been returning
the coldest blue ocean water
cannot stop my heart and mind
from burning
everyone who's in the know says
that's exactly how it goes
and if there's anything good about me
I'm the only one who knows
White Stripes
Just be still
with me
Ya wouldn't believe what I've been through
You've been so long
Well it's been so long

new mcr album real quick.
working on it now.
brings two words to mind
contractual obligations
:/
LOL at the Frank interview! I hate when dogs do that. Mine don't, which is quite possibly the only good behavior they show.
Whoop whoop, an anon is quiting David Bowie. Time was, I knew ever word and every nuance to every song. I even managed to hunt down the non-released ones and this was back before the internet. I loved Bowie when I was a kid. As I grew older he kind of seemed like more and more of a douche, but hey. His songs were pretty fabulous.
Well, this autumn day is as fine as the Leto brothers in eyeliner so I suggest you all get out there and have sex with it. Err, I mean, go walking through the leaves and enjoy the chilly wind and rain. If you've got those, that is.
Oh, last night I did a 180 straddle split all the way down to the damn floor! I haven't been able to do that in a while and I was so happy that I could again.
Gotta run. Later all! :D
I'm a black rainbow, and I'm an ape of god
I got a face that's made for violence or porn
I'm a teen distortion, survived abortion
a rebel from the waist down
I wanna thank you mom, I wanna thank you dad
for bringing this fucking world to a bitter end
I never really hated the one true god
but the the god of the people I hated
You say you want an evolution?
The ape was a great big hit
You say you a revolution man...
and I say that you're full of shit
We're disposable teens...
We're disposable teens...
We're disposable teens..
We're disposable
You say you want an evolution?
The ape was a great big hit
You say you a revolution man...
and I say that you're full of shit
The more that you fear us
The bigger we get
The more that you fear us
The bigger we get
and don't be surprised
don't be surprised
don't be surprised
if we discover it
You say you want an evolution?
The ape was a great big hit
You say you a revolution man...
and I say that you're full of shit
We're disposable teens...
We're disposable teens...
We're disposable teens..
We're disposable.
You know what I found out today? That the idea that everything in a system is connected--as in holistic--is called "holism."
Holism.
Guys, holism.
"So what is your area of practice in medicine?"
"Holism."
"Oh, you're a gynecologist?"
LMAO!
Which reminds me, last night at Kung Fu I saw an award certificate hanging up that I had never seen before. It was like, something something "long men" something.
"What do you study in Kung Fu?"
"Long men."
"Dang, sign me up!"
Live is good.
You arent funny.
She doesn't do or get mature and sophisticated humor. She's 12. She's said it herself. What she thinks is funny proves it.
Emotionally 12.
Anons, you have showed me the light.
GASP.
Kapunua...
You.... You....
You have a silly sense of humor!
Oh God.
I feel so betrayed.
Here I was thinking I was talking to a thoughtful, mature individual who only lets out a gently snicker while watching "The Importance of Being Earnest."
My life is ruined.
I can never trust anyone again.
Hi Katherine! yes, the truth is out! I have absolutely no mental sophistication and am incapable of understanding a "mature" quip or humor. Can you accept that flaw? Do you still love me even though I think the study of long men is giggle-worthy? I just don't know how I am able to function in society!
Pawdon me, but I'm off to play the graaaahnd piaaaaahno!
And now, I am off to shop at Tarzhay. ^_^
We were happy to help Katherine. Let us know if we can provide additional assistance with ruining your life. We thrive on that power.
You may also let us know what time would be convenient for you to allow us to express our opinions on humor.
gasp
You were comment 369.
69. 69.
That anon said 69. Tee hee hee hee hee.
Actually I was a little peeved that I didn't get 369 because those are my favorites. ^_^
I have to wait till my Gran lets me know if she needs anything from the store before I go out. This could take a while.
Oh, hello. It works again. This is driving me insane.
Hi Jules! Hi Katherine! Hi Mayo! Hi SS!

the study of tall men.
Nope. Not giggle-worthy to me.
You might have been thinking of the long dong jokes and got the wording wrong. Or the porn star Long Dong Silver.
"Holism."
"Oh, you're a gynecologist?"
LMAO!
IMO Nope again. I don't think anybody would think you're a gynecologist if you said that. They might think you're a doctor for priests, ministers, rabbis and nuns.

Mayo,
i think we all know who you're talking about in this post. maybe you should talk to her and work out your differences on how the relationship was. i think the shit slinging is only going to get worse if you don't work it out with her. she said herself that the songs on the EP are only the beginning of what she is going to reveal about you.
A list of people and companies who donated money to support proposition H8, banning gay marriage.
Got a job teaching in spring and summer 20 bucks an hour on phone right now
WOW
congrats Kapunua
This is old news in CA but I think more people should here about it.
Leaders of the campaign to outlaw same-sex marriage in California are warning businesses that have given money to the state's largest gay rights group they will be publicly identified as opponents of traditional unions unless they contribute to the gay marriage ban, too.

ProtectMarriage.com, the umbrella group behind a ballot initiative that would overturn the California Supreme Court decision that legalized gay marriage, sent a certified letter this week asking companies to withdraw their support of Equality California, a nonprofit organization that is helping lead the campaign against Proposition 8.
"Make a donation of a like amount to ProtectMarriage.com which will help us correct this error," reads the letter. "Were you to elect not to donate comparably, it would be a clear indication that you are in opposition to traditional marriage. ... The names of any companies and organizations that choose not to donate in like manner to ProtectMarriage.com but have given to Equality California will be published."
The letter was signed by four members of the group's executive committee: campaign chairman Ron Prentice; Edward Dolejsi, executive director of the California Catholic Conference; Mark Jansson, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; and Andrew Pugno, the lawyer for ProtectMarriage.com. A donation form was attached. The letter did not say where the names would be published.
The unusual appeal reflects the increasing tension surrounding the tight race over Proposition 8, which would change the California Constitution to limit marriage to a man and a woman. In recent days, both sides in the debate have accused their opponents of threatening their respective campaign volunteers and misleading voters.
San Diego businessman Jim Abbott, who owns a real estate company and is a member of Equality California's board of directors, received one of the letters late Wednesday afternoon. His adult son called Abbott to read it to him.
"He characterized it as a bit 'Mafioso,'" Abbott said. "It was a little distressing, but it's consistent with how the 'yes' side of this campaign has been run, which is a bit over the top."
Abbott, who married his same-sex partner at the end of August, estimated that over the last decade he has given $50,000 to Equality California, including a recent $10,000 gift to underwrite a San Diego event that raised money to defeat Proposition 8.
When asked whether ProtectMarriage.com planned to name businesses that have supported the No on 8 campaign, Prentice initially said he was unaware of any such effort.
"I'm not familiar of any organized attack against organizations that have given to No on 8," he said Thursday.
But when asked about the letter to Equality California donors, Prentice confirmed they were authentic and said the ProtectMarriage.com campaign was asking businesses backing the other side "to reconsider taking a position on a moral issue in California."
Prentice said it was his understanding it was intended for large corporations such as cable operators Time Warner and Comcast instead of small business owners like Abbott. Both Time Warner and Comcast are listed on Equality California's Web site as corporate sponsors that gave $50,000 each to the group.
Companies that have contributed directly to one of the campaign committees collecting cash to fight Proposition 8, including one set up by Equality California, also were recipients of the letter, Prentice said. That list includes companies such as Pacific Gas & Electric, Levi Strauss and AT&T.
"I think the IDing of, or outing of, any company is very secondary to the question of why especially a public corporation would choose to take a side knowing it would splinter it's own clientele," he said.
Equality California executive director Geoffrey Kors said Thursday he has heard from two other business owners besides Abbott.
"It's truly an outrageous attempt to extort people," Kors said.
While an anti-Proposition 8 group called Californians Against Hate has posted lists of gay marriage ban donors on the Internet and even launched boycotts of selected businesses, Kors said that work has been independent of the official No on 8 campaign.
"They are going after our long-term funding and trying to intimidate Equality California donors from giving any more to the No on 8 campaign and from giving to Equality California ever again."
While corporations often give to rival candidates for public office as a way of preserving their government access no matter who wins, tit-for-tat solicitations are almost unheard of in ballot initiative campaigns, said Robert Stern, president of the nonpartisan Center for Governmental Studies.
"This is a proposition where you are on one side or the other. You vote yes or no, not yes and no," Stern said.
Though unusual and disturbing, Stern said there was nothing illegal about ProtectMarriage.com hitting up Equality California supporters for money.
Sonya Eddings Brown, a ProtectMarriage.com spokeswoman, estimated that 36 companies were targeted for the letter and said those that do not respond with a contribution would be highlighted in a press release and on the campaign Web site.
She called the tactic "a frustrated response" to the intimidation felt by Proposition 8 supporters, who have had their lawn signs stolen and property vandalized in the closing days of the heated campaign.
Congratulations kapu.

Thanks, anon! It's teaching Hula, something which I've always wanted to do! Also possibly some classes on Hawaiian language, history and culture.
I would be starting in March. They said they could work around my college and Kung Fu schedule which is amazing.
If it worked out and there was a lot of interest in it, then I could become an employee of the town and would get awesome benefits too.
Now that is a sweet deal!
Kapunua
Things seem to be falling into place for you Kapunua.
I like reading good news like this.
Jules!
That is awesome! I'm so excited for you! ^_^

It's very quiet around here lately!
PH, I hope everything's all right?
Maybe that's a good thing paperheart.
Room to stretch.
Everything is kind of a mess right now. But it should all work out soon. I hope.

I guess so, 3:51.
Good morning Ergoproxy!
