Manifestation Monster

Wax and wane, spit out the profane
He found it fit to sit and complain.
And in the shit still, remain
Spirit coursing diligent, but in vain.

He is unraveling spools for the core.
He is unknown: “The Word Whore”
Has every opportunity for more,
But now at last he has become the boar.

p.s. not even (a lex icon) the sharpest ink will get you out of that paper bag.

It was hypocritical of Frank to sit and glare at Gerard during interviews for his holier than thou attitude during that time and for Frank to now carry the same attitude on stage.

which interviews? just give me two.

Anonymous said...

5:09 you are missing my point.

I am disappointed in Frank.

I could understand why Gerard (not saying MAYO) would be angry with him right now.

I have explained my reasoning.

Thank you for the discussion.

what do you mean about frank now carrying the same attitude on stage? I must have missed him asking the crowd, no sorry, my mistake 'just the girls' to moan for him. Or was he exposing the love bites on his inner thigh to show everyone he was getting laid? Oh wait I know! He's been writing seekrut cryptic messages to Jamia on his body in sharpie.

You can't compare Frank and Gerard. One is a forward thinking activist striving to make a difference to the world we live in and one is so preoccupied with getting laid and trying to be cool he has resorted to supporting the exploitation of animals to impress his new friends.

Good *insert time of day here* Mayo, SS, FASC, Ergo, TJ, Possum; various anons, watchers and lurkers; monsters, spirits, whores and boars in the land o’blogbelieve!

I did not expect a horror story for my birthday. I do love a good monster tale. Thank you, Mayo! ;)
I am with FASC. I hope your aren’t talking about yourself in this one. Actually, I hope this is a work of pure fiction - not about anyone. Now, smile and go out and celebrate my birthday for me, please. I won’t have much time for celebrating today. Oh...I’m sure a find a few hours for some in-home celebrating. Darn evacuations, contraflow and curfews!

J (L and Sparkle too), Ergo, BC/Sweetcheeks, Lewis, BI, FASC, MissT and TJ: Thank you all for the birthday wishes!!!!!

J: Thank you for the party favors! Who knew donuts were so delicious dunked in Hurricanes? And a very special 'thank you' for the housing offer!!!! I would love to stay with you, L and Sparkle. Or, just Sparkle for that matter. She is correct! Aunt Wendy would have soooooooo much fun with her!!!!! We would “dance and party all night - and drink some cherry wine, ah ha“! And, we do lots of singing too! ;)

BC: A special 'thank you', to you as well, for the housing offer!!!! I really appreciate it, sweet cheeks! By the time my pack and I arrived in Chicago, it would time to turn around and come home. I have my new generator, tons of batteries and I'm going get the sandbags, ammo and extra water today. I'm sure we'll be fine! I hope you have an especially good Saturday, sweetcheeks!

Ergo: Thank you for my my extra big birthday smoooooooch, honeybunch!!!! Did I ever tell you what a great smoocher you are? :D
I hope Gustav goes and blows himself (out) too. Unfortunately, it appears he will increase to a category 4 hurricane when he hits the extremely warm gulf current. There is good news though! It also appears that he will make landfall a bit west of here! So, it won’t be a ‘direct hit’ for us. That is unfortunate for the areas that will feel the his full strength. Okay, back to hoping he just goes and blows himself (out)! Whatever he does, he won’t do until the early morning hours on Tuesday. So, I do have lots of time to prepare!

11:04 and 11:34 anons: Thank you for the videos!!! They cheered me up! Well, the Elton John video/song is a bit sad; but, it’s sad in a good, touching way. J
I do love rollin’ on the river, 11:04! I just hope the river does not decided to roll on any of us! ;)

I think I have taken up enough space this morning. Perhaps I’ll return with something for pondering consideration, later. No, that was not meant as a threat. :P

Have a great day/afternoon/morning, everyone!

Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~
6/Wendy

PS: THANK YOU too MYA!!!!

*going sleep off those hurricanes and donuts now*

*shakes confetti and sparklies out of hair*

*blows kisses*

I have looked at 5 so far and can't see any evidence of what you are saying. I am not being argumentative, I would like to see for myself if there is any substance to what you are saying. Please can you try and remember specifically which interviews you looked at as there was definietly no glaring in the 4 I have just seen.

Frank has said in interviews that Leathermouth is an outlet for all the emotions he is not proud of, an expression of his darker side. It has always stood for that. He has never pretended leathermouth was something else. Gerard took everything MCR stood for and then chewed it up and spat it back out at us in disgust. That's the difference.

If Mayo is Gerard then he must have lapsed into a coma ten months ago and awakened a few hours ago to experience an epiphany. Gerard has had the Leathermouth demo cd since October. Why, almost a year later would Gerard suddenly get bent out of shape about it?

Anonymous said...

Rolling my eyes at most of tonight's anons. Know of what you pass judgment about, ok?

Anonymous said...

Or was he exposing the love bites on his inner thigh to show everyone he was getting laid?

Some people, especially when they are are emotionally vulnerable cannot fail but be taken in by others who can be quite predatory.

This doesn't excuse the behavior by any means, just may give an understanding because it's so easy to pass extreme judgments on others.

I wasn't passing judgement on gerard, an anon said frank was behaving like gerard, so i was highlighting the fact that the two behave nothing like each other.

He is a bizzy boy, has a large life to lead and a great wife and friends.

Anonymous said...

Anonymous said...

5:59 maybe he thinks she's great.

Anonymous said...

5:55 even though you spell 'busy' as 'bizzy' the way we all know SS does, judging by what you just wrote, there is no way you are SS.

There's more chance he is the 5:59 anon.

6:03 how can you assume anyone is anyone? It is the internet, but I can confirm I'm not SS whoever that person is.

If SS is lurking, he wouldn't be posting with so many anons around. Too easy for misunderstandings to occur and for the words of one to be incorrectly attributed to another.

my thought was sort of , he (or whoever it's directed at) had "written" themselves into a corner. That even the cleverest turn of phrase or event may not be sufficient to escape it.

Who in the sunny beams did glide!

He showed me lilies for my hair,
And blushing roses for my brow;
He led me through his gardens fair,
Where all his golden pleasures grow .

With sweet May dews my wings were wet,
And Phoebus fired my vocal rage;
He caught me in his silken net,
And shut me in his golden cage.

He loves to sit and hear me sing,
Then, laughing, sports and plays with me;
Then stretches out my golden wing,
And mocks my loss of liberty.

It is interesting. I think he stayed away because he found out the truth and didn't want to be linked to Mayo. That doesn't change the fact that he has said many times that he views the lovelies as friends and probably kept peeking in on everyone from time to time. When people started getting genuinely upset and worried that Mayo's post might mean the end of MCR he obviously felt he had to step in and say something.

Consider the source.

I don't think he could have spelt it out any more clearly.

Anonymous said...

SS hasn't addressed Mayo since last year. I think the message is for us.

Anonymous said...

so you're sayin SS is frank? you don't know that. they could be just two people who like the bloggers here.

ergoproxy said...

ok I am going to bed I was cleaning my teeth and I refreshed

I don't quite see how mayo's post became "MCR are breaking up!!"
I think that is a pretty big leap of any kind of logic

perhaps he is asking us to consider how that suggestion arose, certainly not from any valid source apart from an anonymous conversation

Anonymous said...

I agree with you ergo. Just anons making stuff up.

ergoproxy said...

I think it's clear SS is at the very least a fan of MCR as many of us are.
And they care.

Anonymous said...

No I most certainly did not say SS is Frank. Although Mayo certainly alluded to it in his post. Which does not mean Mayo is Gerard, it simply means Mayo believes SS is Frank.

And because I couldn't resist a nosey driveby tonight, a moments silence for Panic At The Disco, please.
Even with The Academy Is, and Cobra Starship, playing with them, the mosh pit gate was only 200 strong at the one door, one hour before the show. They didn't even close the road to the arena O_o. WTH?
Cue, last year, MCR, two mosh doors 500+ deep, three hours preshow.
I really hope people were just late to PATD (Saturday though, hmmm) and that lots of seats were sold instead. It's so far to come, it could put other bands off.

Yeah, what they said.

There's absolutely no comparison.

And since this conversation basically stemmed from "The Sharpest Lives"/Projekt Rev. incidents, you can't, and obviously Gerard is unable to as well, give me a valid reason for that sickening display.

Gerard, as the member of MCR who took it upon himself to confuse the hell out of their fans, deserved that "judgment." He deserved to be called into question not only from those fans, but also from his bandmates, for that incident, because it went completely, totally, and 100% against everything he had ever, from day fucking one, said.

Frank, however, said from the beginning, from the start, what Leathermouth was about, and he and his bandmates have followed through with it, no curveballs. He's gone so far as to give explanations for his songs, something I can respect from any artist, because that's a not-so-easy thing to do -- to tell where you were, what you were thinking when you wrote this or that.

So, in essence, when Frank does the same thing Gerard has done, I'll view it differently. But, not until then.

There are two sides to every story.

I couldn't agree more. But, we as fans/ex-fans/soon to be ex-fans are not getting any story. That's what's hard. You can only form opinions from the things you've seen and heard. And so my opinion is based on solely that.

Anyway, my first thought when I read thise post has nothing to do with the post itself and nothing to do with anything that Mayo is likely to be talking about. I started thinking of the Hawaiian legend of Kamapua'a, who litereally turns into a boar the nastier he gets. He used to be a handsome half-human, but throughout his life he is rejected and cast out, insulted and shamed by his father, and he becomes hateful, rude, angry; he tattooes himself all over and more or less makes himself unattractive. By the time he meets Pele and tries to find love with her, she tells him, "You're a boar and the son of a boar" and lo and behold, he transforms into one.

I know that you probably weren't thinking of Hawaiian legends and all Mayo, but that's pretty neat, huh?

S(S)S, I've said that phrase here from day one when certain things were coming from certain people, or from certain "un-named sources." :D It also reminds me of the movie "The Devil's Advocate." OMG, unless you were to live in my head you would not fully understand how everything reminds me of lines from movies. "In the Bible, you lose. You're destined to lose, Dad." "Consider the source, son." LOL.

Anyway, S(S)S, I'm so glad you're still about. And I hope you saw the lion video!

We are an assembly of DNA and chance.

It's a crap-shoot, really.

Who we become is shaped by life experience and predetermination working with and against each other.

Each decision is a chance taken. The result, and our reaction or lack there of, carves a path that directs our future decisions.

If we are careful and thoughtful the cycle becomes beneficial. If not, well then we are in need of Repair.

toujours said...

yeah, but only we can repair ourselves. only we alone have the manual for ourselves.

Amyranth said...

Besides, can you afford to pay for the repair in some cases?

Most can't.

So they break, and stay broken because of cost measures.

time for me to head offline.

I'm in Repair. I'm not together but I'm getting there. Sounds like a John Meyer song.

Maybe Gerard got tired of people including and meaning Frank telling him what to do. I believe
"if" that did happen he was doing it for his own good. Frank may not like his choices in female compnaions and expressed it to him. Gerard got tired of hearing it.
Wanted this person in his life regardless if it was good for him or not. Frank was probably worried Gerard would be surrounded by people who did drugs and would become exposed to his old way of life that Frank did not want to deal with anymore.

All my opinion. Couldn't blame Frank if he got fed up with any antics or advice that Gerard would not listen to and he threw his hands up and said what happens, happens. Count me out. I believe Gerard did. Also, Gerard may have wanted to portray a different, tougher image of MCR and the way the were being percieved which included Frank laying off him. He didnt want to be thought of as a guy who may be Bi or gay.
Just how I viewed the scuffle on PR. I saw it live online. It was strange and out of character for both of them. It did bother me. Frank was just annoyed that show period. he went to kick Matt before jumping on Gerard. I did see that. Which confused the hell outta me.

This is all speculation on my part for what its worth. I know people who went to 3 PR shows last year and showed me footage and told me what they experienced and saw.
(they are not big, big MCR fans)
They would hold the phone up for me to hear the shows for an hour at a time, was fun to listen to.

I hope that they reconcile any differences (if they are at odds) soon. Good friends should remain good friends. Especially when they were there for you through the hardest of times. People can forget that and they need to be reminded.

Didn't mean for this to be long
Just saying my piece that's all.
Later everyone.

Anon who thinks Frank's performs are no better than GW's new behavior.

I see a big different. Frank is singing about thinks that piss him off. So his performs is going to be a lot more angry. As far as arrogant I didn't see that. I didn't see FI running around the stage doing thing that would give him ego a boost.

I think the consider the source line is more about your comparing his actions on stage to those of GW's.

As for mayo's post. If it is about a member of MCR, it seem to me to be about GW more than anyone else.

Example of how SS could nicely let the ops know he doesn't like being called baby.

"I believe that SS sees you all as friends and he understands that you see him that way as well. But I also think that he would like it if you could stop with the affectionate names. It is nothing against the people who do that. He just has never liked it when people do that."

Hello Mayo, SS, sweetcheeks, J, all of blogbelieve!

Sdock and Martha: Thank you for the Happy Birthday wishes!!! It's turning into more of a horror story; but, I do have cake!

Ergo: Thank you again, honeybunch. It is not looking good at all right now. Gustav is now a catagory 5 Hurricane. The sheriff called a couple of hours ago and told me basically to "get the hell out". Yeah, they're scaring me now!

Possum!!!!! What can I say? That is the perfect gift and it's just my size too!!!!! ;) Thank you, Possum. And, thank you for the concern and the well wishes too!
(Pssst.....yep, that kind of ammo.) We are under mandatory evacuation and law enforcement and emergency workers will not put themselves in harms way to save my (or anyone's) sorry arse. Perfectly understandable and completely understood - hence the need for ammo. Maybe I should go out and buy a boat too! ;)

Lewis: Thank you, too, for the worry and concern. Ya know I love ya, Lewis!!! I'll probably have electricity until Monday night...so...I shall keep you posted until then. Maybe Gustav will just wear himself out. Sometimes the strongest ones do that! ;)

Okay, I am off to wait in line and get more sandbags.

Enjoy what remains of your day/night, everyone!

Hugs and Love,
~Namaste~

Guys, there's something I need to share with some of you, in case you don't know. Yes, it's political.

Who is Sarah Palin? Here's some basic background:

* She was elected Alaska 's governor a little over a year and a half ago. Her previous office was mayor of Wasilla, a small town outside Anchorage. She has no foreign policy experience.1
* Palin is strongly anti-choice, opposing abortion even in the case of rape or incest.2
* She supported right-wing extremist Pat Buchanan for president in 2000. 3
* Palin thinks creationism should be taught in public schools.4
* She's doesn't think humans are the cause of climate change.5

* She's solidly in line with John McCain's "Big Oil first" energy policy. She's pushed hard for more oil drilling and says renewables won't be ready for years. She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.6
* How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.7

This is information the American people need to see. Please take a moment to forward this email to your friends and family.

We also asked Alaska MoveOn members what the rest of us should know about their governor. The response was striking. Here's a sample:

She is VERY, VERY conservative, and far from perfect. She's a hunter and fisherwoman, but votes against the environment again and again. She ran on ethics reform, but is currently under investigation for several charges involving hiring and firing of state officials. She has NO experience beyond Alaska. —Christine B., Denali Park, AK

Alaskans, collectively, are just as stunned as the rest of the nation. She is doing well running our State, but is totally inexperienced on the national level, and very much unequipped to run the nation, if it came to that. She is as far right as one can get, which has already been communicated on the news. In our office of thirty employees (dems, republicans, and nonpartisans), not one person feels she is ready for the V.P. position.—Sherry C., Anchorage, AK

She's vehemently anti-choice and doesn't care about protecting our natural resources, even though she has worked as a fisherman. McCain chose her to pick up the Hillary voters, but Palin is no Hillary. —Marina L., Juneau, AK

I think she's far too inexperienced to be in this position. I'm all for a woman in the White House, but not one who hasn't done anything to deserve it. There are far many other women who have worked their way up and have much more experience that would have been better choices. This is a patronizing decision on John McCain's part- and insulting to females everywhere that he would assume he'll get our vote by putting "A Woman" in that position.—Jennifer M., Anchorage, AK

So Governor Palin is a staunch anti-choice religious conservative. She's a global warming denier who shares John McCain's commitment to Big Oil. And she's dramatically inexperienced.

In picking Sarah Palin, John McCain has made the religious right very happy. And he's made a very dangerous decision for our country.

In the next few days, many Americans will be wondering what McCain's vice-presidential choice means. Please pass this information along to your friends and family.

Thanks for all you do.

Sorry, I'm back and forth. :)

It's a little better, RW. I took some of that Excedrine stuff for migraines, and it pretty much killed it. I haven't had a headache like that in a while, so it was, it was arrrrgh. X_X

I swear, between you and MJ and me and Smoke and Sdock, we're like a hugely constricted brain!

Anonymous said...

She also sued the Bush administration for listing polar bears as an endangered species—she was worried it would interfere with more oil drilling in Alaska.

Sorry, but wha?

"POLAR BEARS ARE NOT ENDANGERED! MORE DRILLING, PLEASE! LET'S GET THEM ADDED TO THAT THAR LIST!"

Seriously, that is just backwards in every sense of the word.

How closely did John McCain vet this choice? He met Sarah Palin once at a meeting. They spoke a second time, last Sunday, when he called her about being vice-president. Then he offered her the position.

This is beyond frightening. To think that if McCain did win the presidency, and God forbid something happen to him leaving her in charge, oh man, I could not even predict the outcome and the ensuing chaos.

And "Holy hell" to everything you bolded.

This has really become a scary election.

resurrected wreck said...

Sarah Palin was chosen because she's a woman. I'm sure McCain's only sorry she's not black.

resurrected wreck said...

Excedrin usually works for my migraines, Mustard. If all else fails, I find that Neo Ctrin does the trick. But I don't think you can get Neo Citrin in the US, can you?

Anonymous said...

Sarah Palin was chosen because she's a woman.

That's really what it appears like, at least to me. And as that one responder said in what Jules posted, I think he might have been trying to vie for the votes of Hilary Clinton supporters.

And if that isn't the case, what other logical reason was there?

resurrected wreck said...

I guess McCain didn't realize that Hillary Clinton > just any woman chosen out of blue mainly because of her gender.

He must really think we're gullible.

resurrected wreck said...

Besides, Hillary is backing Obama.

resurrected wreck said...

It's late-in-the-game desperation on the part of McCain.

Well, too little too late, I say.

Anonymous said...

I'm not sure what it is, but this choice just doesn't set well with me personally. It seems as if he was grasping for anything that might work, and did so without really weighing out the long-term effects of his decision. And, although Mr. McCain may have valid reasons for his choice, it just reeks of "Uhhhh, running out of time. Must choose. You look okay, you're coming with me." But, that's just my opinion.

Anonymous said...

Exactly, exactly, exactly.

However, the scariest aspect is that there are people who will give him The Vagina Vote. They won't even care about her policies.

And people still aren't backing Obama. THERE IS NO OTHER CHOICE!

If, god forbid, McCain gets in, we will stay in this war. The environment will be further ruined. Gays will lose most of the rights they've fought to gain. Amendments will keep being shot down.

Gods forbid, any one of us ever has to deal with the horror that is rape and it results in pregnancy, or even if we just need the help of planned Parenthood for something as innocuous needing the pill, we will have no help. Women will be helpless.

And it will be the fault of people who voted for McCain or didn't vote at all.

Anonymous said...

I actually know people who are going to vote for McCain and I want to throw my uterus at them.

Anonymous said...

What if something happen to mcCain? WE will have a president with NO experience !(not saying he has any)

Anonymous said...

Not only no experience, but the most extreme right wing policies there are.

Basically he chose a vagina with teeth.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, yeah! That's what's so frightening to me personally. And I believe the Obama camp summed it up just about as well as it could be summed up. I can't recall the exact statement, but something along the lines of her being just a heartbeat away from President and having no experience to fulfill that position.

I wish I could find the statement now. :/

resurrected wreck said...

Looks like we're going to be having an election around the same time you guys are, K. It's only been 3 years since the current Prime Minister was elected, but he's expected to call an election soon for various reasons. One of them being, election experts have hypthesized, because he's expecting an Obama victory and doesn't want to face having to deal with a liberal President (the current Prime Minister is a Consertative) without a majority government to back him (right now Canada's got a minority Conservative government which, basically, blocks the reigning Conservatives from doing anything too heinous to out health care, the environment, or human rights).

Anonymous said...

Splash, and Hillary herself said something so powerful in her speech. She said to her followers, "Were you in it for me?"

But you're right and Obama was right and they are all right. Okay, chances are McCain's not going to drop dead (I wouldn't weep and mourn, however; his policies are the same as hers,) but the fact remains that a VP isn't just there. There is a reason for having one, and one of those is if the pres drops dead. Their policies are the same, and the only differences between them are age and experience.

It's funny because one of McCain's jabs at Obama was that he didn't have enough experience. Hello?

RW, is that really so? That's amazing how far-reaching that is.

Well, tell your PM that half the country still has its collective head up its backside and that there is still a good chance of McSame getting in.

Anonymous said...

RW, we also have a semi-liberal government, too. However, Bush has been overwriting them, vetoing them, and basically breaking laws to get his laws written.

Anonymous said...

It's funny because one of McCain's jabs at Obama was that he didn't have enough experience. Hello?

I know, right? Which will inevitably be a moot point when the debates get here. Obama can say absolutely nothing to McCain about it, and now, McCain can say absolutely nothing to Obama.

However, Bush has been overwriting them, vetoing them, and basically breaking laws to get his laws written.

And I will never, ever understand the past eight years. Never.
