The only way LM could kill MCR is if you think it will. I think Frank really loves to play music and didn't want to give it up while MCR is on break. So Lm is his way of being able to still play music he loves the way he wants to.

They may not make as much money or have the fame but I don't think Frank, Ray , bob or Mikey have made those thing their number one priority. I think they love playing music and as long as they do that they will be happy.

Before I forget, I want to address this Leathermouth issue.
Long-term fans of MCR know that Frank's been in several other bands before 2001. All of them were pretty hardcore punk. But, you know, his influences are The Misfits, Green Day, the Bouncing Souls, Black Flag, and so on. These aren't bands that embrace the softer-vocal technique.
Punk is about passion for what you believe in. It's not a fashion statement, it's not just a style of music. It's an attitude. If you have that passion, for ANYthing, it tends to come out strongly. Frank's comes out in his performing.
He's not screaming because he can't sing. Personally, I think he's got a great singing voice. No, he's screaming because he becomes so involved in getting his message across that the emotions take control. Same way he plays guitar.
He has said LM is for the side of himself he's not proud of, the raw, hurt, angry, bitter side (I'm only guessing at the adjectives here, so don't pounce on that immediately). He has to have an outlet of some kind, and Leathermouth is that outlet. MCR's not a "place" he can take that darkness so much. So, voila.
I've read, too, that his dad calls LM "nervous" music b/c it makes him feel nervous. ;)
So if Leathermouth's music makes people sit up and pay attention, well then, Frank's achieving what he set out to do.

Dumplin Update: He's been a little more active today, and has eaten some canned catfood. He's not drinking a whole lot, so we syringed him earlier, gave about 10cc of water. But he looks better, and has been prowling some today. Now he's got some pain meds in him, and is no doubt asleep in my room, on his blanket.
Poor thing, every time he's been sick or had a medical issue, it's always been with his rear end/innards. He hates going to the vet.

The last time Dumplin had to stay overnight at the hospital, he ended up getting his thingy removed. So, yeah, I guess I'd be a little wary of the place myself.

Yep. Two years ago. He had about 8 bladder stones and a couple kidney stones. He passed the bladder stones, but then they found there was one sitting at the top of his urethra. The only way to remove it was to remove the, um, appendage. They rerouted his urethra and made a bigger hole so any future stones would pass through.
So now I have a transsexual kitty. :D Hell, I'd rather have done that than put him to "sleep". THAT was another one of my options. I said, "Kill him just cause he can't pee? Oh HELL no!"

Well I just woke up (for about the tenth time today) and was walking by the computer when I stopped. Yeah, silly me. I wanted to tell you goodnight. However I’m so medicated right now that truly I’m not even sure what day it is. All I’ve been doing is taking medicine and sleeping. Crap, I hate both. This afternoon I had another fever flare up but I guess it’s because the antibiotics are kicking in. Now both of my ears have this ridiculous crackling sound going on. Yuck. Oh and did I learn the hard way not to yawn. That, my friend, is painful. Lord, I hope I don’t get the hiccups. Sorry, I’ll stop whining now. It’s just I hate being sick so much. I have too many things to do. It does warm my heart though that my friends here have showed so much concern for me. Heck, Fred came over earlier this evening and brought me juice and Popsicles. Today that is all I could eat. I’m willing myself better tomorrow.
So how are you feeling? I really hope better than me. Did you have a good day? Was the sun shinning or did rain fall? Did you even really notice? It’s weird but sometimes I don’t think I do. I just race through my day. That’s really sorta sad when you think about it. There can be so much beauty on a sunny day. Things look so bright and crisp. However the rain, while sometimes annoying, has a beauty all it’s own. It cleanses and softens. Can you tell I haven’t been out of the house for a few days?
Okay, so once again I’m feeling tired. Back to the sofa for me. I really had nothing important to say. I just miss talking to you. Sorry I've been gone so long. My niece contracted a virus and passed it on to me. I was feeling generous and passed it along to my friends :/ It included nausea and an overwhelming fatigue, as well as the dreaded....... Pink Eye!!!! I escaped that symptom, (YAY!) but none of my friends did. :( I still feel quite horrible.
Thank you again for all of the birthday wishes. I know I thanked most already, but missed Miss T, beloved imortal, bellatrix and RW, so thank you! Also thanks to my visitors at my place - I shall return the visits soon and thank you for your kindness!

George W. Bush has launched a new assault on birth control and reproductive freedom.
The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) recently proposed regulations that could seriously undermine access to basic reproductive health services -- including birth control and abortion.
Instead of striking a careful balance between individual religious liberty and patients' access to reproductive health care, the Bush administration has taken patients' rights and their health care needs out of the equation.
This far-reaching proposal doesn't need congressional approval. But, it can't go forward without allowing for public comment. That's where you come in.
The deadline for public comments is fast approaching -- September 20 -- and we have to generate intense opposition to these dangerous regulations.
I just sent HHS my comment urging them to stop efforts to block women's access to basic reproductive health services. You can do the same here:

well hows the week been going? getting through it relatively painlessly? Mine has been good, our weather has warmed up nicely, odd for this time of year though. So what else has been going on, Not a lot, that's pretty normal really. So what have I been thinking about,...hmmmmm... I've decided I'm definitely a frustrated backing vocalist, yep, for some reason I don't sing along with the main vocals , I sing the back up. I tell you, If MUSE or MCR ever need a backing chick I'm there! With the live albums I have it down pat, .....as long as they perform in my car. I can also if required , do a full version in the lounge accompanied by a pretend mic. Yep, you never ever grow out of fantasies of stage stardom! lol
So wishing you a fabulous life soundtrack, with heaps of pleasant passing the time music, frequent exciting and/or passionate tunes and very few pieces where you just know something bad is going to happen
