hello everyone.
i just caught up with the comments since morning, so i know you all want to hear my news:
not cancer
not even remotely!
the funny thing is that neither the lab doc nor my surgeon know just what the damn thing is though.
the actual report ahsn;t come in yet, and my surgeon said that will tell him a lot more -- but today the lab doc called him simple to get more of my background info. he said the lab doc asked if i had been "hit in the chest with a brick recently" because at the moment, all he could figure was that it was scar tissue.
wtf?
i have a follow-up with the surgeon on monday, and so hopefully he'll have gone all hardy boys on the mystery of tj's nodule, and then we'll know for sure, but the best part is simply that without a doubt, it's not lymphoma.
