Mayo - About those clown strippers... :) ... While it doesn't matter who you are (and I was content not knowing) I have wondered whether I interpreted a certain post of yours correctly... Perhaps I did not, or perhaps the post was meant to be ambiguous? Though I hadn't thought so at the time. In fact, I was very confident of my interpretation. Given that I may have misunderstood, I am now worried that I did misinterpret your post - and I find it DOES bother me. So, yes, I would rather know for certain.
However if this meant the blog would end, then I would not wish to know, as many would be upset if it ended and I would wish to spare them that feeling. I know this place is unlikely to remain forever, yet I can't help but feel that perhaps we haven't worn out our welcome, with you and with each other. *giant community hug* :)

i love having music in the headphones while i'm on the computer in the evening...even in my own place that's how i would do it. but every once in awhile, i just silence, and the sound of my own thoughts, and the clicky of the keyboard.
and then, last night, i looked at my cds, and tbp was hit by a spot of misty shimmery light, a shaft of sunlight from the very halls of heaven itself it seemed. i heard a little humming, like the wings of a dragonfly, and when i leaned over the table and picked it up in my hand, i received a shock.
a moment late i regained consciousness, and my mission in life was renewed.

Hi Mayo! Good to read you. I've read this now three times. Each time it becomes clearer, yet even more abstract...does that even make sense? My friend, your way with words still continue to amaze me. How do you do it?! I hope all is good in your world. Even though you are 'here,' I still miss you. Can't explain. I'll leave the 'splainin to you...you are much better at it than I am.

SS, I MISS YOU TOO!!!
Oh, I just wanted to give you all an update on my dad. I haven't commented on him in a while because things where kind of heading downhill. The radiation through is throat into his brainstem has brought him so much pain. Because of this pain, he hasn't been able to eat. He weighed 119 lbs on Monday. He has lost his hair and he is unable to really talk. He's had to get two IV drips to help with dehydration. It has been very difficult for all of us, but we are still fighting. Yesterday he started to feel better. Was eating more and then he started to get some numbness in his legs, arms and face. Right now he is in the hospital because they think his brain might be swelling. I talked to my mom this morning and he is feeling much better. They are running tests, but so far the first scan came back good. He ate breakfast and is comfortable. We are hoping this was a blessing...now he is in the hospital and hopefully they will get him nurished and back on his feet again. We are all relieved that he in good spirits and even starting to talk some more. :)
Thanks again to everyone for their thoughts. You have no idea how much I appreciate it. ♥
