Okay, so I was playing Resident Evil 4, and Jo-chan was there, and mummy K was there too. I wanted to show them this altnernate game I had found. In it, you had to dodge all these falling objects and get to the merchant. (For anyone who hasn't played, the merchant is the guy who sells you weapons, upgrades etc. His dialog consists of lines spoken in a smarmy, husky voice while he throws his coat open like a flasher: "Welcommmmme. What're ya buyin'? What're ya selling? Ahhhh, I'll buy it at a high price. Stranger, stranger! Now that's a weapon!" and suchlike.)
So in the game my character Leon makes it over to the Merchant, who proceeds to be a bad guy. Instead of throwing his coat open and showing Leon his goods (*coughcough*) he grabs Leon by the arm and drags him into this huge, open warehouse.
Jokingly I say, "You gon' git raped!"
Then it gets all quiet and I'm like, "...Oh." Because I realize that's exactly what the game is about.
The scene shifts and I'm sitting with my friend who is a professional artist for a well-known gaming company, and who has done porn for fun on the side and she's showing me a drawing that she did of that scene only it was consensual and I'm like, "OMG! It's been so long since I've seen your porn!" and I get nostalgic for the old days when she used to post porn regularly. Awww.

Same dilemma. Solved by hanging mask by the eye holes on nails.
Use nails with small heads and it won't be so obvious.
RW I found a display stand I will use for mine, like a plate stand but with a wider base, if you had something like that you could hang it.
Though I'd probably use some fine fishing line to hold it on the stand in a couple of places, you wouldn't see it from a distance

I have painted a piece of wood and framed it...I nailed the mask (and the others when I get them) to the wood and then hung the entire framed piece on my wall.
Not sure what the masks are made of, Elune. Resin, maybe, or plaster?
How did you nail the mask to the wood without damaging it?
I have too much time on my hands (not really).
But it does look pretty damn cool.
Hold mask up against wood. Using pencil mark a spot for nail. Remove mask from wood, pound nail, hang mask on nails.
Oh yea, must be looong nails.

or you could use one of those nifty shelves, that you put the braces on the wall then the shelf slides over them so you can't see them, or a glass shelf and use a stand

I was going to suggest something similar to 8:00.
Alternately if you don't like dust (like me) you could have it professionally mounted in a frame :)

I just hung mine on a nail, like a picture. It seems pretty secure.
