Way down at the center of the Earth, the core as it is called, the pull is intense. The rest of it, what I see every day, endlessly revolves, but down there it is all held in tight. I want to be that close, leave the cycle, become random. I am a part of the pattern and I know that is why I feel this way. So much of it is polluted.
There is the challenge.
I tried to dig it up once. I wanted to know if it would pull my soul out and then would it also find a place in rotation? Follow me around batting at the back of my head? But, my palms blistered before I made it. I would like to say I did not give up, but I did.
Yesterday, I read in the news that someone had finally reached it. Once they arrived, they made legal claim of the core of the Earth. Stuck a flag in it and gave it a proper name, in a proper way...I hate proper. So, now I want it even more. The rest of it can float off for all I care.
Well, not all of it.
I will try again. This time, a bigger shovel and a pair of gloves might do the trick, save my hands. I will not quit; it is worthy work. When I get there, I will release it. I no longer wish to be a part of its rotation. Instead, I wish for the whole of it to become the rest of it.
p.s. each day the same way and then look at it again if its there, focus.

Okay, so this one upon, ehhem, further inspection, kind of seems flip-floppy. Kind of like weighing some issues.
The outside things, the ones we see everyday, the things that we notice, the things we take for granted, the rest, seem to not have as much value, right?
So, now I want it (the inside) even more.
Somebody got to it, now I want some of it, too. It's valuable. It has meaning.
Well, not all of it.
If we lost some of our outside, we wouldn't be us. We'd be unrecognizable, and half the time, no one gives a flying fuck about what's on the inside, so we would be pretty useless. So, we can't let all of it go.
When I get there, I will release it. I no longer wish to be a part of its rotation.
And this confuses me, because throughout the post, he's striving to reach the core, the inside. But, the tables get turned, and now we're back in the rest.
So, when he gets to the rest though we were just talking about getting to the core, he decides he doesn't want to be there, but that he'd like for the inside to just become the outside.

No; I disagree. Everyone's got some issues, but I know plenty of people who aren't a whole big bag of issues putting on a false face of happiness. Actually before I go I have to tell you guys: It just got really windy and hazy out here. It smells like: ocean, swamp-rose, ozone, wet earth, heat, and a hint of smoke.
I wish I could bottle it and let you all have a whiff.
I don't mean nasty cigarette smoke, I mean smoke like someone made a bonfire or a beach fire earlier in the night, that kind of smoke.
well that's a shame the guy has privated his whole blog, oh well I suppose he'd be getting a whole lot of unwelcome attention now, especially if it was linked at BN or INO or LJ and here, enough people would either see it as a place to post masses of fan messages or to give opinions of Gerard and LynZ which as far as I'm concerned is nothing to do with that guy or his blog, he isn't part of their band or crew, and it's a shame that a really interesting look at life on the road is now unavailable to read.

The poor guy probably got his ass reamed out. I hope he didn't get fired over it. I haven't been to his page. I would have liked to read it. Too late now.

just back-reading, and i'm disappointed about that tour blog! i was just reading it this morning and really liked it - i felt a little foolish clicking over, but i'm glad i did. it was so cool to see what life on the road is really like. i was getting little flashbacks, too, from my own trip, even though i was just travelling around on my own.
i wanted to keep reading it. it was fueling my adult-version run-away-and-join-the-circus fantasy. fooey.

if they want to sms you they will always need to do this eg your mobile 0400123123 from the usa it will be +61400123123
this also goes when you want to do a voice call... except you put 0011 from here in Aust to USA... unless your calling an australian mobile (you call it normally)
