About a recusant.

It is a youthful requirement,
A developmental entitlement,
To want to be separate, unique.
“Your perspective is quite oblique.”
True, but they say it’s inevitable
And becoming is so undeniable,
That now, when I look into me
More and more it is him that I see.

p.s. of course I am and he wouldn't want it any other way, a knock-off.

I regret allowing my mind to go where it went but it was too tempting. It is sad that Pop Tarts and Cool Whip don't make a six pack. That would work for me.

No salsa at casa de elena tonight. Unfortunately, (or maybe fortunately)we're usually this way without any outside stimulus.

Scary thought.

Wait, what?

Fruit Punch just go to Sam's Club and by both in the jumbo size. That should hold you.

Shit, that just sounded so wrong.

Another good laugh, thank you. What I meant was directed more to abdominal muscles.

Elena's daughter is madly texting her from....get this....upstairs. Ain't technology grand?

Original Punk J said...

The Cool Whip/PopTart sixpack. Well, the packaging would be really bizarre, for one thing. Should the CW tubs be smaller, maybe, to go with the prepackaged PTs? Should the foil packs of PTs come preglued to the tubs of Cw?

And should they be sold with an optional 2-liter of Coke?

Sugar. The natural anti-depressant. ;D

Fred, yeah, that's scary. But understandable. On our good days, L and I are just like that!

J

Original Punk J said...

FP, I just read your comment about abs, and laughed like a moron! See how we all think in here? FOOD, that's the way to go!

Abdominal muscles.

*stifles giggles*

I like 'em, but I like PopTarts more! And so should any man I meet! heeheehee

J

Yeah, she is texting from upstairs. Walking down here would just be too much for her.

Original Punk J said...

Elena, is it the youngest? The one who was, uh, in charge of the you-know-what the other day?

J

Sugar may be a natural Anti-depressant, but that's an almost illegal amount!

Would you need ID to buy the Six Pack? What about overindulgence?

Goodnight RW!

And would a sixpack eventually create the need for a twelvepack? And a twentyfourpack? With special handles?

Would there be special sales during holidays?

Hey Ergo

I got your e-mail. Did you get my text?

ergoproxy said...

no :(

did you get my text?

Original Punk J said...

FP, I'm guessing from your question that you're of the male persuasion? I'll do my best to give my honest, straightforward answer.

To me, looks and personality go hand-in-hand. A guy's personality "makes" his looks, at least in my eyes. If he's funny, kind, intelligent, sweet, caring, loving, strong in character, and so on, THAT is what makes him attractive to me. Yeah, there's a certain type I go for, but if the inside is rotten or boring, then nothing on the outside can make up for that.

Muscles aren't that important either. ;)

And, I like my guys with a little extra weight on 'em. More to love. ♥

Did that help?

J

Amyranth said...

Elena, don't they all have a drama moment at some point? Time to beat one with the other.

J

ergoproxy said...

haha I had no idea what to say either!
you'll both have to do one for me now!

FC I think looks are important to a point but not all women have the same idea of what makes a guy nice looking but personality is a far greater thing when deciding if a relationship has long term possibilities, looks change but basic personality rarely does

Anonymous said...

"Did that help?"

Of course! Any answer helps so long as it's honest. :) I poll random people on the topics that I ponder the most. Thank you very much for taking the time to reply.

Original Punk J said...

amy it's almost funny to do it on purpose then.
That's a big thing for me a guy has to have intelligence or I just can't relate (well a woman either) and I don't mean uni education either just a decent brain

Original Punk J said...

A lot of good-looking guys have the idea that they're the answer to every woman's prayer. Mother, please. I used to work with this cute guy, he was a good deal younger than me, HE thought I was cute too.

BUT.

He thought all the women who worked there should fall for him. So, no thank you. Egotistical and I do NOT get along.

(L and I saw him in Target a few weeks ago, and he was exactly the same. Go figure!)

J

Amyranth said...

Goodnight Fred and ELENA!

Ergo, I know! I'm not asking much. I mean, Mister is a huge comics geek. I like that. Comics aren't the encyclopedia, but he can talk about storylines and character twists for hours.

I really like the way he talks about things that he loves. That's one of the things that attracts me to any guy.

ergoproxy said...

Amy I agree, it can be as simple as knowing about things they enjoy, or liking to watch documentaries, knowing a bit about world affairs, and who can actually pay attention with interest if it's something they don't know.

I hate people who you mention say a book and they say "I hate reading" as though it means something is wrong with you

ergoproxy said...

amy rabbits I don't think so but hares may.
I would perhaps lay some wire mesh and weight it down over the soil

Original Punk J said...

That, and not knowing which way is up.

Gotta have an intelligent man with a fine sense of humor. And like Amy said, as long as he's passionate about something, it doesn't matter what. His interests are important to him, they're important to me. I just hope it would be the same in return.

J

toujours said...

Amyranth said...

I hate people who you mention say a book and they say "I hate reading" as though it means something is wrong with you

Biggest pet peeve ever.

I hate lots of things. Do I make it blatantly obvious when I see someone doing it? No.

Besides, clearly if the book is THAT good, I'm going to tell you about, and then you won't have to read it!

-A

ergoproxy said...

try googling for codes TJ, I printed off a list from a webpage that listed heaps

Original Punk J said...

I honestly can't comprehend why some don't like to read. I mean, I know there are lots of people in the world who don't like to b/c they don't read well (my BIL and one nephew, for instance). But just to dislike reading for the "task" that you see it as? Unfathomable.

Course, I don't like watching sports very much, so I guess it's kind of the same thing.

J

ergoproxy said...

amy I think you and I have a lot in common!

ergoproxy said...

J I agree we all have things we don't really like but it's they way they kind of dismiss you for it that irks me
I let people tell me about stuff they like even if I don't (as long as they don't go on tooooo long)

Amyranth said...

*giggles with Ergo*

J, even with sports, I'm not really into football, but I'll sit and watch it. You don't need to know what's going on to get lost in it. It's kind of like curling. I think there's a small handful of people in Canada that actually KNOW how curling works, the rest of us just watch ofr the sweeping, the yelling, and watching rocks get thrown at houses.

-A

Original Punk J said...

If I think I can learn about this other thing by listening to the person explain it, or by watching or reading something about it, then I'm all for it. Maybe by the end I'll either understand it more, or be more open to it, or whatever. I'll at least try to be part of it. Otherwise I wouldn't learn anything.

But, if I find I don't like it, I'll excuse myself the next time it comes around! Or maybe just read. :)

oh, well...

i'm still figuring that out, i guess. i've only had one relationship so far, you know. but all the stuff you guys have mentioned: the intelligence, the passion, and the sense of humor, that's all definitely got to be there.

plus, i think, i'd like to meet someone who can stand up for himself -- not in a bullying way, you know, but someone who's willing to say what he means and stick by it.

(my ex was very wishy-washy...)

and...

hmmm...

*thinking a bit dreamily now*

someone who can cherish me without belittling me, who can lend me strength and not be threatened by the need to draw strength from me as well.

someone i can talk with all night long, and not notice the time passing by.

and, well...

*a little bashful*

someone who will kiss me without asking permission first.

i'm kind of pathetically romantic -- warped by barbara cartland books as an adolescent, i'm afraid!

Original Punk J said...

Dear SS,

Since we were talking about reading earlier, what's your five favorite books? I say "five" because no one who reads can only pick one.

If asked, I would say:

1) Insomnia by Stephen King
2) The Phantom Tollbooth by Norton Juster
3) any book by Robert B. Parker
4) Interview With the Vampire by Anne Rice
5) the Gormenghast Trilogy *yeah, I know it's three, but it's MY list* by Mervyn Peake

Eclectic selection, I know, but I have so many favorites it's hard to narrow it down to FIVE. And even then I cheated and used seven. ;)

There are so many great books out there, I can't imagine folks not wanting to discover them. What a shame.

Anyway, I'm off to bed--but first, I'm gonna read a little. :)

Goodnight, precious. I love you.

J

PS. *linoleum*

mayo,

when i printed out your latest post tonight, i showed it to my folks. i wanted to share your poem with them (even though i know they aren't really "poetry people"). they liked it well enough -- i didn't expect them to find it as amusing or bright as i do, so i wasn't disappointed. but then my mom made me giggle -- she said that she sure wouldn't want to play a game of scrabble against you!

and i'm still giggling, can't help it -- it's too delightful, this mental image of you and she sitting down at the dining room table across the scrabble board, the dictionary firmly at her side, ready to challenge you, o bright effervescent writer with the tricksy twisty mind. *grin*

but you'd go easy on her, wouldn't you? you're really a sweetie, i think. you might not deliberately throw the game, but you'd pace yourself. or anyway, so i imagine it. *grinning still*

bedtime now, and i'll probably dream about that guy i was describing, the one that doesn't exist. :/

oh well, maybe i can write him into a story someday, and give him the shadow life of a fictional character at least.

good night, mayo. may those that watch over you give you kind, heart-warming dreams, the kind that nourish spirit while sleep nourishes the body.

always, i wish you well.

Well crap. I’m writing this and probably wasting my time. My monitor suddenly thinks it’s in a disco. Lots of flashing light. This started during the last storm when the power went off and on about 10 times in a row but it’s getting worse. I’m actually getting sorta sick watching all this flashing. Oh and the top of the screen is a lovely shade of pinkish orange. Looks like I have my own sunrise. The way my luck has been going today I’ll get this written and the monitor will blink it’s last blink.

So this is gonna be short and sweet. Well short anyway. I’m not feeling too sweet. I’m feeling overwhelmed by shit. Way more problems then solutions at the moment. I’m sure I’ll figure it all out but not tonight. I’m gonna go curl up with a good book. That is a cure all for me. Okay, maybe not a cure all but a quick fix.

Take care of yourself. Give yourself some down time. You know that wonderful time when you just don’t think? I truly believe thinking is overrated sometimes. You can spend all your time deep in thought and still have no answers. Okay, I’m totally going with the “Sometimes you just gotta say Fuck It”. There is always tomorrow to figure things out. It’s not like the problems are gonna go away if you ignore them, right? That would be pretty sweet if they did but it ain’t gonna happen. So I’m off to ignore the tons of work I have to do. It will be there tomorrow.

Night Mayo

Five Miles Out - Mike Oldfield

this is one of my favourite songs

FIVE MILES OUT
What do you do when your falling,
You've got 30 degrees and you're stalling out?
And it's 24 miles to your beacon;
There's a crack in the sky and the warning's out.
Don't take that dive again!
Push through that band of rain!
Five miles out,
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out.
You're Number 1, anticipating you.
Climbing out.
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out.
You're Number 1, anticipating you.
Mayday! Mayday! Mayday!
Calling all stations!
This is Golf-Mike-Oscar-Victor-Juliet
IMC CU.NIMB...icing,
In great difficulty, over.
The traffic controller is calling,
"Victor-Juliet, your identity.
I have you lost in the violent storm!
Communicate or squawk 'Emergency'!"
Don't take that dive again!
Push through that band of rain!
Lost in static, 18,
And the storm is closing in now.
Automatic, 18!
(Got to push through!) Trapped in living hell!
Your a prisoner of the dark sky,
The propeller blades are still!
And the evil eye of the hurricane's
Coming in now for the kill.
Our hope's with you,
Rider in the blue.
Welcome's waiting, we're anticipating
You'll be celebrating, when you're down and braking.
Climbing out.
(Climbing, climbing)
Five miles out.
(Climbing, climbing)
Five miles out,
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out....
(Climbing, climbing)
Five miles out,
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out....
(Climbing, climbing)
Climbing out.
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out....
(Climbing, climbing)
Five miles out,
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out....
(Climbing, climbing)
Climbing out.
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out....
(Climbing, climbing)
Climbing out.
Just hold your heading true.
Got to get your finest out..

What kind of cars is he interested in? But yes, it figures, you have a gift idea, but its something else they want!

Music is more creative, anyway :)

*laughs*

Oh, it's for a cell phone! I was picturing something that fit over a home phone!

my mock

resurrected wreck said...

I think he's pretty generic when it comes to cars, Miranth. Cartoon ones are better, of course. His dad is into cars, so I expect he'll follow in those footsteps. Shame really, as music is much more better than cars!

resurrected wreck said...

That's a stylin' mock, EP!

ergoproxy said...

hi miranth!

it's an aussie company and they send free all over the world so get yourself a MOCK today!!!

and they fit over iPods and other stuff too

Do the phone ones fit over iPods, ir are there separate mocks for iPods, EP?

Morning Mayo, RW, Wendy, Ergo & Miranth,

I'm here, I'm here! Unfortunately they don't pay me to be beautiful, so my attendance at Mayo's is generally down to how much slave labour I have to perform on any given day - currently running at "a lot", due to honeymoons and other miscellaneous absences.

My mock's covered in pretty pink flowers, which is most unlike me - what with being irredeemably evil an all - but it came free with a magazine and I'm cheap!

And back to work, have a good one...

Kass xx

miranth said...

RW Music IS much more better than cars! But you could get him an art set so he could draw cars, when he gets older :) When kids are little like him, they usu. draw circular shapes and lines. Very simple forms.

(Humans look like balls in the middle with sticks for arms and legs. Super cute! :D Cars are a little more difficult :)

Peen warmer!! I laughed :D

ergo - I should email them to see of they can make even fluffier ones with sparkles! That's what I would design. Fluffy like a Muppet, but soft :)

resurrected wreck said...

Hi & Bye, Kass! :D

resurrected wreck said...

I think he quite likes drawing, Miranth, so I shall have to send him a sketch pad and some crayons.

I remember drawing horses from the time I was very young up til my early twenties. I got quite good at them, actually. If I tried to draw one now though I don't think I'd know how to do it :/

miranth said...

Nice to see you, even for a flash, Kass! I hope work slows down for you - that can be stressful!

RW- That is excellent that he likes to draw at such a young age. He is 2, correct?

With drawing, you do have to keep in practice! I know cause I slack at it, just get too busy. I like using oil pastels, as you kind of 'model' or mix the colors on the paper. Its a little like sculpture as is oil painting cause you build up the surface. I like the texture of oils, but oil painting involves chemicals and I don't have a safe ventilated area to paint right now, though I could paint outside. I suppose you did when drawing horses?

Kids oil pastels are very inexpensive - I can go through an entire box in one sitting! :)

resurrected wreck said...

I didn't paint much, Miranth. I could never the the colour mixes right, so I mostly stuck to pencil or ink.

And yes, my nephew is 2.

resurrected wreck said...

I used to draw quite a bit up until about 10 years ago. I go through cycles of either drawing, writing, or designing/sewing. The sewing has won out recently.

resurrected wreck said...

I tried to go to bed earlier, Fimmy, but I am so in the habit os staying up late now & sleeping that that I couldn't sleep. So I did some spring cleaning instead.

What does your new dress look like??

resurrected wreck said...

Your dress sounds lovely! :)

I have a birthday parcel to mail to my dad today. I am also thinking of going to a really good bakery near the opera. They make the world's best brownies. It's a good one and a half hour walk each way, so I shall burn off my brownies before I even eat them!

What have you been up to? Is it good to be back home?

Ohhhhh! That's very pretty, Fim!

Fimble Star said...

I have been going out with friends and things like that. just the norm but i havent slept much, been going to bed around 4.30 am every morning and then waking up around 9.30 am to sort my grandad out cos he is ill. i need sleep but i am surprisingly ok :)

your day sounds good, can you get me and dickie a few brownies please :)
dickie likes big brownies.

miranth said...

Hi Fimmy! How are you doing back in england? Is it hard to adjust or does it still feel very familiar? You get a different perspective of home when you've lived somewhere else, I found. I appreciated it more :)

RW - I am not as good at the pencil and ink. Charcoal's fine and conte crayon, but pen and ink feel too 'precise' to me, if that means anything! :) And water color's too slippery...

That's interesting that you go through creative phases, at least as regards the medium. Sewing and designing is interesting because used in theater, its part of a bigger artistic expression. Also you can wear what you make! Its healthy to be flexible, as you are, I think. I find artistic expression relaxes me like meditating. Do you find that too!

Fimble Star said...

thank you, i like it alot :) i am off to sunderland on thursday so i will wear it out on the town with stu that night. cant wait yayness.

resurrected wreck said...

I shall certainly get brownies for you and Dickie :) I shall ask for their biggest and best ones!

resurrected wreck said...

Sunderland?

Stu??

Fimble Star said...

miranth, surprisingly enough, when i was going down the streets that i grew up on, it felt like i had never left but so many things have changed like buildings have gone and it just crazy. i do see it differently but i dont know if i appriciate it more because where i am from, it has been over run with scallies and it is extremely different but everything changes, nothing ever stays the same.

Fimble Star said...

rw, i lived in sunderland for a bit when i was at uni, lived in a flat/apartment with 4 guys. stu was one of them, so i am going to spend a few nights with him and then a few nights with my brother to see him. i havent seen stu for 3 years so it will be fun.

resurrected wreck said...

Last time I was back in Victoria, Fim, it felt very strange. Most of the shops and such were still there, but it felt different.

resurrected wreck said...

Sounds like a good time, Fimmy, have fun! :)

resurrected wreck said...

How did you survive sharing a flat with four guys?? Weren't they messy?

I've had male roommates before, and they did not understand cleanliness at all. Though they were certainly less territorial than female roommates, for some reason.

miranth said...

Fim - What are scallies?!?

About the buildings being torn down and all that, I'm always sad/nostalgic when I see the changes :( But, I noticed that I appreciated the people more, as it was easier to interact. I don't know, like people understand you better, even strangers. Odd, I know. Did you find the people are easier to relate to?

Fimble Star said...

it does doesnt it rw, i mean everythign is still there of gone but the feel of the place. i used to know everyone around cos it isnt a big place and if i were out, i would run into many people that i knew but it has totally changed. i dont see anyone now and it may because i am older and the young ones are moving in and taking over ;)

i do feel old around here now :(

resurrected wreck said...

You feel old? But you're a young 'un!

Fimble Star said...

rw, i enjoyed living with 4 guys, i have two brothers so i am used to it but i was the eldest by one year so it was great lol.

miranth, scallies are people who (crap how do i describe them) wear tracky suits and sit o n the park and drink alchy and are around 16 years old. it is stereotyping which i hate to do but i dont know how else to describe them. if you ask other english peoiple, they may be able to help.

ont he subject of if i relate to the people more, not rea;l;y, all the people that i know have said that i have changed my appearance and have mature a lot. they say i look so much better and more together since going away but i dont know. i have been gone so long away from english people, it is crazy. i find that english and americans are so different in the way of life sort of, that it is hard to adjust to each one after you have been away from it for so long.

resurrected wreck said...

Are scallies a Manchester word for chavs, Fim?

miranth said...

Fimble - You are young! Trust me! If you want to meet more people your age you can take up a hobby that you enjoy that others your age would as well. Pubs do have a lot of young people as do concerts over there I noticed. I lived in Portsmouth.

Now I feel old often enough, but that's because I am :))

resurrected wreck said...

How long were you in America for, Fim?

Fimble Star said...

rw, yes. scallies = chavs hahaha

i do feel oldish, i have been going out since i was 16 years old, that is kinda the norm around here so i know people from that range, but now they are all 16 ish and it is madness, but its all good, i am enjoying myself. funny as hell, plus i am on vacation and they are all working so i am having a ball ;)

Fimble Star said...

14 motnhs rw, but i am going back on the 6th july

Anonymous said...

Fimble Star said...

OMG anon, thank you so much. that made me laugh :)

resurrected wreck said...

Are you back in the UK only temporary, Fim? Or are you just going back to the US for a visit?

resurrected wreck said...

Did you get my piccies at your blog, Fim?

miranth said...

Fim - how long were you away? I can understand that as you acclimate yourself to different cultures, you change and mature. That makes perfect sense. But it shouldn't be all about how you look, as attractive as your appearance is! Rather the Fimmy inside... :)

The drunken boys sound obnoxious! We don't really have those here, so much, as everyone drives everywhere to a specific destination (motor city). And they'd get kicked out of establishments if they annoy/harass people.

Fimble Star said...

Not sure yet rw, things have changed and for the better if it all goes through well. i will hsoot you an email later on today but yeh,, going back on the 6th

Fimble Star said...

no rw, i will go check them out now. thank you so much :)

i agree miranth, but i have also changed my appearance and i am very happy abotu that so its all good :) where abouts are you from?

resurrected wreck said...

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you that things go well :)

miranth said...

Oops I missed the answer while I was typing - 14 months is a long time!

'Scallies' are very rude! They wouldn't last too long here :)) *grinning*

RW - I forgot to say I enjoyed your pics, especially the old barn - really felt desolate in way, juxtaposed with the life around it.

And I like your hair color! I am thinking of going brighter red myself for the summer..

miranth said...

Fimmy - I live kinda near Ann Arbor/ the University of Michigan, but I am from Detroit, where boys wouldn't dare be rude!!! Its not worth the risk...

resurrected wreck said...

Thanks, Miranth :)

The old house is my fave part of the family farm. Probably because, along with the old well, it's the one thing that's still the way I remember it from when I used to visit there as a child.

miranth said...

Bye RW and Fim! Good to 'see' you both. I am going to post a note and go. I got some sleep, but not enough :)

I hope both of you are able to get more rest, too!!

:)

resurrected wreck said...

In Toronto, people aren't so much rude as dense.

resurrected wreck said...

Night, Miranth! :)

Actually, I should head off soon too if I am going to trek to the bakery in a few hours.

Fimble Star said...

lol miranth. my friend lives in michigan, is it a nice place?

rw, i love those pictures. your colour is awesome and the pics of you and mummy and daddy wreck are great. i love your grandparents old house, how old is it?
thank you for putting them on my blog :)

miranth said...

RW - I like old things that survive, too. Its like a memory trigger, and makes me feel nostalgic in a good way :) I do understand.

Take care!

Fimble Star said...

well, goodnight rw and miranth, sweet dreams.
i am off to do my rounds nbow so i will see you all soon ok.

resurrected wreck said...

It's lovely to see you, Fimmy :)

Have a great day!

resurrected wreck said...

That you for your comments on my pics, Fim :)

The old house dates back to the early 1900, I believe. Not sure of the exact date.

Anywazy, by for now, missus! :)

miranth said...

Bye guys :)

HI FASC!

PP - It is a gift inspired from Fathers passed, to Fathers present.

Thank you for that PP - that's it exactly! :)

kapunua - I understand the kind of sadness inherent in the suffering of creatures that lack 'cuteness.' I accidentally drowned a (drab) moth as I washed my face today. I didn't notice it in the basin. :( I felt sad about it, though I doubt the moth suffered. And then I had to stop and ponder the reason for that sadness. I realized that its based on a respect for life, regardless of its package, perhaps you share this feeling. About the ice cream however, I can't relate, though I do love ice cream! :)

anima - I am glad your family enjoyed the Sunday gathering, and I am even happier for your parents that they are vacationing! :)

Anon about mayo-daddy - I gave a general statement of good wishes for the day, in which he was included. Having lost mine, as many others here have, I suppose I was too distracted by my sadness to think of venturing such a question.
Fimble - I forgot to say - I hope your grandfather feels better and it was nice 'talking' with you today!

Anon about GW girlfriends - I don't know enough to guess at that, sorry! Plus people's motivations, especially as regards love are so very complex... And I have trouble sorting my own relationships, much less anyone else's. :D

Mayo I hope you didn't mind my facetiousness yesterday? I can be very frivolous at times.

Have you ever been insulted, but found the words complimentary, regardless of their intent? I actually experience it as a positive. I would never have guessed that...

My niece was admitted today. They scrambled and found a room. We packed more books than clothes for her, so I think she'll be alright. :) Though I may have to make an emergency run to the library :)

Even though the staff are just getting started, I feel as if I was wound in a rubber band all this time and suddenly it was released. The marks and odd shape remain, but the relief is real.

I posted two of her poems - I couldn't pick just one :) I'll try mustard's directions to make a link...

miranth said...

PPS -

FRUIT PUNCH - To answer your query, I think that as we get to know people, we learn to care for them more, if they have a (good) quality of character. If their character is poor, I find, and others agree, that we care for them a great deal less, and sometimes not at all. I always try to get to know people before I decide whether or not I can sustain a relationship with them. At first meeting, when there is little else to go on, appearance, unfortunately does count for a great deal, but so does charm. I have found people made much more attractive, even on first meeting, by charm of manner. Some people find charm to be false, but I find the fact that people exert themselves even in small ways, shows that they value new acquaintanceship. And that, I like.

When you were here before
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so fucking special

But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doing here?
I don't belong here

I don't care if it hurts
I want to have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice when I'm not around
You're so fucking special
I wish I was special

Mayo,

It's Tuesday! (Insert fake excitement here!)

Just go out and try, dude. That's all we can really do.

Here's a song stuck in my head and since there's nothing else in there right now that wants to step forward and be shared....

I'll leave you with this:

Broken Boy Soldier

I'm pulling down questions from the shelf -- I'm asking forgiveness.
I ain't asking nobody but myself, and I want you to know this.
I want you to know this.

You're rifling through a box of toys that were handed down to me.
Just take out the ones you brought, and then give the rest to my family.

I'm gonna go back to school today, but I'm dropping myself off.
I'm throwing the childhood seat away, I'm through ripping myself off.
I'm done ripping myself off.

I'm child and man and child again, the toy broken boy soldier.
I'm child and man then child again, the boy never gets older.
The boy never gets older, the boy never gets older.
The boy never gets older, the boy never gets older.
Never gets older, the boy broken toy soldier.
The boy... the boy!

Love to YOU Always,
S

p.s. just a song.
