Sir Veiled.

Arms curl their way around
and into the lions gut,
pulling it down or pushing it up.
A not so subtle departure. From surrender
the lion is hurled into the abyss
or trapped in morbid curiosities, caged.
Some will gawk and ask,
How does the lion live and lair?
Where does it go when it leaves the den?
One says, “It eats the weak.”
Another, “Don’t assume to know its prey.”
Instead, just follow the beast
an insightful track trailed by medium.
The bits of captured consequence
presumed and postulated by
creatures craving more and more.
The lion’s roar is heard for miles.
Some will broadcast in a lesser voice
without notice, to others
a dip in its mouth, success.
Speak to the lion, it is denned.
It is eating. It will sleep.
It will shit, piss, fuck, and roar
for you.

p.s. that shit is corrosive even in small doses.

plus much of the reasons John Lennon had those ideals came from the opportunities he had as a Beatle when they toured worldwide and he saw things happening and his studies in India etc. He changed as a person because of these things, and decided to use his fame to try and change things.

I agree.

I am also NOT one of those people who thinks that just because a band has gotten popular they have sold out. I don't lose respect for bands who have simply gotten popular.

I completely agree.

I don't believe that "selling out" equates with becoming popular.

And I won't continue, because you know exactly where I'm going.

That's true too, Ergo. It was a chain of events.

"Women are not incubators" forever will stay in my mind.

We do not need to get on the topic of abortion....and despite how I feel today personally, I have to say that line made so much sense to me growing up. Their songs impowered me.

I do know, Splash. We've been down that road a lot. Are we thinking of Gerard again here? That dude had a chance, you know?

Hi anima

Ergo. true, but in today's world, if something is not "marketable", how far does it go?

Maybe a small cult following.

Anima, I have a song you might like to hear.

Does anyone else want to hear something by COnsolidated?

I don't like the term 'selling-out.' Never have. Never will.

I would also love to have seen what direction Jon would have taken his music, or if he would have continued performing or taken his talent into another arena. It's a real shame we can't find out.

Of course Ringo Starr doing Thomas the Tank Engine is just pretty cool too

Yeah, same road. Same old damn thing.

The song "He" by Consolidated. It's totally harsh, but so are all their songs.

Anima, have you ever heard "You Suck" by them and the Yeastie Girls? I'm waiting for a good opportunity to post that. Maybe the next time Mayo ventures into porn-land (DNW.) I have it put aside just in case. ;D

You might remember us, the quiz anons.

Old timers we ENCOURAGE you to give the new people a chance to answer these first. Most of you already have all the answers and what's the fun in that. But if you really can't wait then you can answer. This could be a good way to let the new people in on some of the old timer's jokes and references so they don't feel too left out of the loop. But we HAVE left out questions about certain friends of yours because we remember when they warned you to close ranks and to not air your laundry out, before this got as big as it is. Because we respect them, and respect you, we leave out questions about those people. And we think you should remember their words of advice.

We have repeated some old questions from the first few times we played, so that the new people can catch up.

Some of our questions are a little on edge this time because the blog is on edge. Can you keep it real? It's just a game.

--------------------

Who are the newest people here?

Which bloggers are known for speaking German?

Which bloggers live in Australia?

Which bloggers live in Canada?

Which bloggers live in England?

Which one is from England and wants to go back?

Which blogger lives in New Orleans?

Who is the most recent person to lose someone?

Whose Myspace features her singing?

Who holds the record for leaving the blog forever and then coming back?

Who is the most recent blogger to leave forever and then come back?

A helpful anonymous once left and never came back, at least we all think she hasn't. What name did the bloggers give her and why did she leave?

Name as many nicknames of the bloggers as you can think of. Tell why you think the nicknames occurred.

Who is thought of by some to be the heart of the blog?

What renewed Mayo's spirit one time?

Who thought up the term "Blog Believe?"

Who just got a new job, though her computer is broken?

Who drew a picture of the Mayo Clinic with bats coming out of it?

Who is the protagonist.... and why? Part two, what is gravitational constant? (We don't know the answer to why but maybe someone here does).

There is a picture of a dog on this blog. Why is it there?

This one is hard. Where is Mayo's boat docked?

Who is the oldest blogger?

Who is the youngest blogger?

Who wrote a letter that got printed in Kerrang!?

Whose heart is in Egypt?

There have been some Blog Believe stories posted here and other places. Part two, What order did they go in, who wrote them, and what were they about? Part three, What role does Mayo play in one of them?

What is Mayo's term for the people who post here?

What did Mayo mean when he said p.s. conversation prompted the fire I'm out on a limb; x-rated in an alternate universe.

Who was it that recently took credit for being Mayo? Part two, why did she do it? Part three, what was the result of that action?

There is an anonymous who likes fruit, which fruit is it?

Which blogger pretended to be Ray Toro? Part two which blogger pretended to be Gerard Way?

Who was the FIRST blogger?

Whose daughter once had a bomb threat at her school?

What was your favorite moment in the blogs so far?

TRY TO REMEMBER TO GIVE THE NEW PEOPLE A CHANCE FIRST.

Mayo, I've been writing in that little notebook again. I can't believe that I have almost filled it. Actually, I carry 3 of them with me now. Why 3? I have no fucking clue. Maybe they each have a different story to tell.

Hope you have night full of bright stars, beautiful moonlight, and dreams you want to make come true. And when you wake up in the morning, you find a mesmerizing sunrise, a bright blue sky, and someone to share your dreams with you.

poor cow, but a police chase sounds funny. People just don't understand cow, but considering how big they are and how much damage they can cause, they don't have much choice.

When cows get out here we hear cars slowing down outside and it's usually our neighbour across the road who gets a -thought this way but said nicer- Get your fucking cows inside your fence! call.
A guy once yelled to me as he drove past "get your fucking cow, to which I replied "it's not my fucking cow!!" we considered etting a sign made up! I chased one into another paddock once to get it off the road.

Goodnight to you SollyWolly. Sweet dreams and a pleasant, speedy Friday. ^_^ Night to you too, Fimble Jazz. And to anyone else who is off to bed right now.

Anima, can't you just click on my linkie there?

Well, I promised myself I'd get to bed early tonight so that I can face tomorrow without ending up with a murder rap, so off I go.

Goodnight, everyone! Have a lovely night.

Mayo, tomorrow is the full moon. Will you look at it with me?

S(S)S, I was thinking about you today while I was at work all pissed off and frustrated and I thought, "Cheer up; there are good people out there." ^_^

Not sure I'll get on here tomorrow because I just tried twice to reprogram my Crackberry and the meffer keeps resetting before I can complete the changes. Damn, and damn again. Well, if anything really huge goes down, someone will email me. I can still get email. ^_^

Guys, be joyful. The weekend is almost upon us. :D

The Bride just enacted a strict No Penises rule at her wedding

Given the event, that's going to be tricky to enforce. But I salute her gumption!

Hi Ergo, Amy, Anima, Elena, BC, RW and anyone I missed *waves*

Amy, what's a no penis rule? Isn't your guy allowed to go?

Of course people are saying stupid things like you are ugly and a hater but I just wanted you to know..... it is now your actual picture's that are there. Sorry.

Ergo, it gets better.

Her Grand Plan is to have disposable cameras at every table. She wants ME to come up with little scrolls that say specific pictures that she wants taken from the reception.

I've told her that if there's a DROP of Alcohol ANYWHERE near this thing, that people will be taking pictures of blurry cleavage and half an eye and stuff like that.

She doesn't believe me, of course.

amyranth or is it for the Hens night?

My sis in law and bro in law had their bucks and hens on the one night and the bucks was at our place in our shed with a mechanical bull (awesome fun)and the hens was at a restaurant and then her mums and I am not kidding but EVERYTHING was penis shaped! If it could be it was, dummies, chocolates straws decorations jokes, when I left I went up to the shed and stated "IF I see one more penis shaped object I will scream!!!!" about 20 guys all cringed! Then I just joined in there.
Funny how though if a bucks night thing had vagina shaped everythings women would probably be really offended.

Hiya to everyone that's snuck in!

Um, I think the groom might be worried, but I think she should be moreso. They was a Photo Guestbook, full of pictures of themselves.

I told her I'm going to draw moustaches on every page.

amy she sounds a little hopeful there, at least in my expeerience the photos from the parents etc tables are nice and those at the start of the roll of film from other tables then it all goes to tit shots and strange vaguely artistic attempts with everyones head cut off etc.

Goodnight Kapunua!

That's so true Ergo, sometimes things are taken too far!

As Solly would say, Oh well oh well oh well. ^_^

Okay, bed, like now. Sorry for lurking. I often do for a few minutes.

Goodnight, yet again.

Ergo, I'm thinking a gay strip bar for her Stagette. Mostly because the guys are SMOKIN, but SO not into any of the girls.

mayo,

time to head back out into the rain (and the dark, now) and go home.

i'm looking forward to the time i can be here on the blog without having to take public transportation. i hope it's soon, but you know what? i keep imagining everything back to the way it was, me at my dining room table, music playing, waiting for you to post a new entry (or just goofing off).

and it's not going to be like that, ever again. i keep forgetting that those four walls won't be mine after the 31st. that's dangerous. i need to remember. i need the edge of fear to get me going faster than i am right now.

but it's all going to be shaken up, no matter what i get done or not.

i keep going back and forth between being completely freaked out -- paralyzed, even -- and being almost insanely giddy with the unknown in front of me. i've been on this path of transformation for two years now, and i'm getting the feeling that this year is when all the really chaotic change is going to happen.

er...

maybe i shouldn't say that. i don't want to tempt the fates.

but what is everything going to be like when the dust settles? what will i be doing? who will i be?

will i be my true self, at last?

i'm on the edge of my seat!

mayo, i hope you're feeling better than when you wrote this angry post. it's vibrant and strong, and i am a little surprised to find that i even like you angry! (oh dear, off the deep end, for sure...)

but when i think of you smiling, that makes me smile, too.

so just one grin? for me?

a wicked little sideways one, perhaps?

i'm grinning mine...

until next time, mayo-sama. be well.
