I just wrote out the longest, most heartfelt message, and blogger fucked up and lost it.
I'd laugh if it wasn't making me cry.
So shall I give you the gist?
I feel bad Mayo. I feel bad because I'm not on here much anymore.
I'm not anywhere much anymore, I'm spread so fucking thin I've become transparent, nothing of substance or worth.
My friends are always busy, or I'm busy, and so when it all comes down, I find myself... alone.
Desperately, irretrievably alone.
I feel bad for writing this, breaking the pact I made with myself.
After my friend died last year, and a lot of other shit was going on, I came here and I spoke of it, and I got the crap beaten out of me by anons, I was labeled an attention whore, for being honest with my blog family, so I said fuck it!
From now on, if anyone asks how I am, I will say I'm ok.
I felt so guilty for sharing.
But I'm not waving now, I'm drowning, and I'm scared, so I'm reaching out to anything I can cling to.
I know you wont read this.

And I'll feel bad for worrying them, just like I always do.

I just saw a news report that had me close to throwing up. I know PPU posted something awhile back in regards to the beef and cattle industry, and then this today.
I'm never touching ANY beef again.
This slaughter house was abusing these poor, sick cows. They were unable to walk, so the workers at the plant were tazing them and trying to move the cattle by prodding them.
The video showed the slaughterhouse workers moving the cows by forklift, but unintentionally, or probably intentionally, running them over in the process.
It showed them using what looked like a fireman's hose to basically drown the cattle. They held it up to their face and just kept spraying.
And, again, I ask what the hell is wrong with the human race that they would stoop so low as to physically harm helpless animals.
That makes me so mad.

I can't even bring myself to watch it. I don't know how these people sleep at night. I really don't. That is just awful. I can't stand to see animals abused and it doesn't matter what kind of animal it is. Down here in the South we have lots of dog fighting and believe it or not, chicken fighting.
It's just terrible to think what these animals go through.
Me, personally, I'd like to taze the people that did that and then turn the hose on them. Run them over with a fork lift and then make them do it all over again.

Splash my love, the entire meat industry is like that. They do the same thing to chickens and lambs and ducks and any other kind of meat that gets eaten. Chickens are hung upside down, alive, on a moving line and are electrocuted as they go by. Sometimes the electricity is too high and their brains melt out of their heads. Sometimes it's not high enough and they just get jolted around. Those chickens left alive are killed later either by having their throats cut, or, as in the case of KFC, being stepped on.

I know these are quite belated, but I'm putting them up because no one else seems to have found any photos from the conference. These are my photos. I got to go because I write a column for a local newspaper, and if you're interested, I've put that under the cut, too.
Frank was without a doubt the nicest guy there. I think they were all a little under the weather, having come from an unexpectedly cold South Korea. Mikey looked especially ill. Most of the questions that were asked there were directed towards Gerard, but there was this funny moment when Frank noticed that this one girl kept asking questions about death, and he said something like "I think she wants us to die!"
It was also in response to one of her questions that Ray mentioned wanting to die by drowning in a bathtub full of mayonnaise, or something like that. :)
And when another girl commented on Ray's shirt (he was wearing the Lost numbers) and asked if he was a LOST fan, and then this happened (this is as well as I remember it, but I do have the tape in my recorder):
Gerard: Oh, so that's what that shirt is! He's been wearing that shirt for six months and I thought all this time that they were his locker numbers or something! It's 24?

It's Opal! I have returned from the land of my people (parents house) but I got in late last night, so I haven't had a chance to catch up with much. It looks like it has been an, uh, interesting few days.
Cupcake's comment was at 6:17 a.m. this morning. She is not feeling very strong right now.
I'm amazed at how many comments are on here, but maybe Mayo feels like there's a little more freedom of time frame now that the Lovelies can get in the castle without being locked out on the porch after the 200 comment page took effect.
And he did do 3 posts this last week.
I saw some of the stuff about Winnie the Pooh! J.'s nickname is Pooh, her Dad gave her that name when she was little. (There's a touching tribute to him on our blog. It was 20 years ago last Tuesday that he passed away.)

It's true, we do all worry about the Family, and that DOES include Mayo and SS. But we do all get busy sometimes, and that includes the boys. SS was gone for weeks and although we did worry, we try now to understand that even when they are not posting, they are here. As are many of us.
We wait a bit, and then we go hunting for our missing Family, because we do care for them so much. But somehow, I think it's ok this time. There have been posts of Mayo's that scared the daylights out of me right after he posted them. Times when I wondered from one moment to the next if we would see another post ever again.
If we would ever know what happened to him.
Those were the times I worried the most.
He knows we love and worry about him, honey. But it's ok to be worried, too. He means a lot to us. As does all the Family.
