Dio's Holy Diver song is bad ass. I just downloaded it recently, and I love it. It's my first Dio song.
I also have Killswitch Engage's version of it. There is also Def Leppard in the mix as well.
I love Alice Cooper's Poison song. But then again, who doesn't?
I am trying to find a KISS song that I used to listen to when I was growing up. I don't remember the title, but I remember the video.

And then there is the gothic/symphonic metal genre. I listen to a lot of that.

don't ask if i sat and read all day, ok? because...well, hyrule still needed saving. *facepalm*
but when i walked into the bedroom this afternoon, and it was golden through and through with warm sunlight, i wished i had just lolled on the bed all day like a cat, peaceful-like, reading and purring.
oh well. choices had to be made. monsters had to be fought.
oh but what a silly thing to be writing to you about! i'm sure you're quite fascinated by my video game exploits.
but even though when i let myself think about them i'm very worried about my prospects, and even though the first half of the february was a very bleak and dark time for me, right now, everything is on an even keel.
so yeah, the video game is silly, but i'm very good at distracting myself. it's my main method of coping, and it has served me well. very soon, right around the corner, the real world is going to become very real for me. so don't think badly of me for indulging in pretending for a last little bit, ok?
somehow, i'll make it through this. i don't know how, but things have always fallen into place for me before. i trust this. it doesn't stop me from worrying and fearing that this will be the time my trust fails, but underneath, i have a core belief. things will work out because they must.
and i'll forget all this the next time pain sharpens itself on me, but it won't be lost, just temporarily overshadowed. when i regain my light, this is what i know: my life has brought me these gifts -- i believe in magic, i believe in beauty, and i believe in love.
yes, i am an idealist, but that too has served me well.
now, before i go to bed, i must tell you -- i'm glad you're here. i like that this place is your's like a secret. and try as i might, i cannot figure out why this place is important to you. it perplexes me to no end. what on earth have we done that helps you? i believe you, and i'm glad for it, but i'm confounded as well.
i don't mind the mystery of it. i'm not a scientist, not every question needs to be answered. i'm a believer in magic, and mystery makes the magic brighter.

I hope you had a good day, and congrats on having your blog reach a record number of comments.
I had another ordinary day, the yard is mud, the rain is still falling and mould is growing where it shouldn't! But we are much better off than some and for that I am thankful.
I finally beat a level on a (kids) video game but it's only over 7 years since I started playing so that's not bad! lol
Anyway, sometimes you just have to be happy with what you have as by comparison, some peoples lives are very much worse for so many reasons.
I hope you are thankful Mayo and appreciate what you have and the friends you have, material posessions can be lost but friendship is a gift.
