A few weeks ago I was talking to a friend of mine who told me that he was feeling pressured to modify is behavior. In particular, his use of profanity was called into question. He went on to tell me that his superiors consider particular words and phrases to be offensive.
So, he was asked, and then ordered, to suppress his usage of the following words: fuck, motherfucker, cocksucker, cunt, prick, bastard, jackass, asshole, shit, damn, fuck-head, and ass-fuck, and phrases such as: shut the fuck up fuck-wit, fuck you, motherfucking ass licking jerk off, ass wipe fuck puppet, shit for brains, no good motherfucking son-of-a-bitch cocksucker.
He tried to plead his case to his superiors. My friend expressed his concern to them that without such words and phrases his intentions would be misinterpreted. He explained that he would be hard pressed to find alternative ways to express himself. The integrity of his emotions and his true feelings could not be completely or properly expressed without such words and phrases.
He refused restraint.
His superiors told him “Tough shit.” And that is why he called me. So I gave him this piece of advice, I told him “Why the fuck do you care what they fucking think? If they find what you say to be offensive tell them to fucking ignore you.”
My friend quietly contemplated my advice and then said “Fuck yeah, that’s what I’m gonna do.”
He has since lost his job, but he sure is a happy little motherfucker!

I was the literary / movie / gamer geek anons last night up until the last Beatrice. I figured everyone would know that since I have done that before and used to sign in as Beatrice a few months ago, and pretty much everyone knows that I'm the biggest Final Fantasy geek around. (Well, ONE of the biggest. ^_^ ) After that I have no idea.
Other people post stories, jokes, novellas, etc., but certain anons get annoyed with literary and movie quotes. Guess what though? It kind of pleases me that people are too afraid to sign in to say that it annoys them. And also, that's the kind of person whom I don't care if I annoy. Actually am kind of glad it annoys them. So really, it's all to the good. ^_^

I just want to set your mind at ease regarding these "Watcher" groups on LJ. I've been part of the MCR fandom on LJ since its inception. I know practically everybody who is anybody and I belong to almost every community, with the exception of the really lame ones such as "gerardism" *gag*.
Several communtities have mentioned this blog, including two of the private communities I belong to. Most regard it with the same disdain as they did the "Loveman" blogs. They feel that Mayo is a lonely fangirl with nothing better to do than create a little niche on the internet where she can cause a stir. No one has expressed any interest in your "family" at all. They only remark about how many comments the blog gets. No one wants to wade through them.
I am not aware of any "Mayo watching" communities, private or otherwise. If there were such communities, trust me, I would know. Yes, that sounds egotistical, but like I said, I've been around forever and I am very well-known in the fandom.
My guess is that the "watcher anon" is someone who is trying to upset you all. I don't doubt that it is someone that Kapunua argued with on chemicalromance about Gerard's recent erratic behavior.
Also, for the record, I happen to agree with Kapunua. As one of the band's earliest fans, it pains me to say that I don't think I will be able to support them anymore. I refuse to give another penny to a band whose front man and mouthpiece has proven himself to be such a hypocrite.
I admit that Gerard might have mental health issues and if that is the case, I am sorry for him. However, I cannot support him when he continues to exhibit his current behaviors.
I doubt that we will ever get our "old Gerard" back. I'm not sure he ever really existed. However, should he explain his behavior, apologize for it and change, I might reconsider. Although, I think it's more likely that hell will freeze over before that happens.

I been think about this whole MCRmy thing. All a person really would have to do is contact Warner Bros or Reprise and let them know that that little army of theirs is making death threats and such to people. I don't think They would like anything associated with the MCR name or their companies used in such a manner.
I know that once a magazine did an article on the fighting in the fandom so I'm sure WB and Reprise would not be happy if it got out that fans were doing these kind of things.
So all you BN lurkers remember that. It is one thing to speak your opinion another to harass and make threat to someone.
So one day when The MCRmy get shut down you will only have yourselves and Voluptuousity to blame

I'd like to say a few words if I may. Well bugger you, I'm gonna do it anyway.
Monday, I came to catch up at mayos and was so disappointed with what I saw. The night before, me mustard and sdock had been having an inoccent game of eye spy on the porch.
The next day, accusations were made as to a deeper significance of this.
Poor sdock and PPU were accused of daft things. And according to an anon, many more of us too.
This made me sad. This has, I hope, been sorted out and laid to rest.
There has been a lot of finger pointing here lately for one reason or another. And it makes me sad.
I wrote a blog saying that I was leaving mayos for the time being because it was all too upsetting. I meant what I said and was invisioning a bloglife not involving this place.
However, the events of last night have changed my opinion once more.
The worry and concern shown to us brits by people on this blog regarding last night's earthquake made me once more realise why I am here.
All of you caring souls are why I am here.
I want to thank PPU, sdock, mustard, Kapunua and the princess for sticking up for me when fingers were pointed.
Here's a suggestion. Why don't we ALL (and I mean everyone) bury the hatchet with whatever has been said before and make this family the fun place it used to be.

I could not agree more. EVERYONE needs to let this shit go and move on. ALL the family members need to be here and WE ALL need to stick up for each other against ANON's who talk badly about family members. Look we have to know that we aren't all going to get along all the time. It would be stupid to think we could. But the core of what family is supposed to be is this...We stand up for each other and forget our differences. There has never been a time when I haven't stood up for a family member against an anon - NEVER! I will contiue to do so. Please everyone remember what we had here and let's get it back.

I'm just feeling sentimental tonight (instead of just mental) and I was thinking how much SS means to me. I was reading back through all his old blog posts as I have no new words of his to read and I was just thinking how special they all are. My fave is a tie between J's riddle and Smoke's story (cos I get a mention it lol)That dude just gives, gives and gives some more. I was thinking about Fred and Leonard and all kinds of things and just felt nostalgic. He is the type of person that if he cares about you he isn't afraid to show it, and he has over the months shown how much he cares about us just by being here and everything he has done for us without expecting anything in return. He is just an awesome dude who does things for no other reason than because he wants to.
I just felt like letting him know that I never ever take him for granted and how much I miss him. If he can be this kind to us here in BlogBelieve, I can't even begin to imagine how he is with the people in his 'real' life that he loves and cares about.
