The necessary words seem to escape me when I need them most.
As I sit here in this quiet place, I find it difficult to express the entirety of my emotions. I fear that no matter what I write, you will not fully comprehend the impact your thoughtfulness has had on my heart. Could it be that the words escape me? Or is it that the act itself is indescribable? Nevertheless, please accept my humble attempt at expressing gratitude.
You overwhelm me, yet again. Your generosity has renewed my spirit. A gift I will treasure indefinitely.
A kind gesture made its way to my heart. A collection of thoughts, images, photographs, sculptures, paintings, drawings, stories, dirty stories, videos, memories, inspirations, songs, dances, a trip around the world, a mansion, a hand, recipes, poems, puzzles, riddles, and rhymes...they are all amazing. I will spend time admiring each gift, removing them from their boxes, and finding just the right place to keep them.
Soon my gratitude will transcend the buzz, and eventually, I believe you will each hear me. You always do.

Maybe, but lust is never forever. The feeling that something is missing is initially suppressed.
As familiarity comes, and faults become transparent, lust fades. Then doubt sets in. Has the correct decision been made, or is the grass greener on the other side?
Of course I realize lust has it's place in a relationship, but it's probably not a good idea for lust to be the foundation of your relationship.

Well sometimes lust can become love and sometimes not. Really if they learn from the relationship even if it ends it isn't a disaster, however if one feels differently to the other (perhaps the case for Eliza? Kat who really knows what caused those to end) or and this concerns me , if children are brought into the world on a shaky foundation it becomes exponentially more complicated
People with emotional maturity recognize that lust is not the foundation.
A lesson needs to be learnt, if there is no true emotional connection, the relationship will, in time, become unbearable.
The choice will then be his to make. Stay for sex and companionship even though not the right fit, or go?

anon that appears to be a key, it hasn't seemed to be the actions of an emotionally mature couple.
But we don't see all of it, To me the time of hiatus from touring will be telling. a relationship which developed in an atmosphere of a massive multiple band tour, with may friends and distractions, which has then had very little time just being a couple before again being separated and in the tour environment has never been tested in the normal boring everyday. When it is just the two of you, good and bad habits revealed, true normal personalities, need to meld harmoniously and I don't believe these two ever have had that type of normality yet.
The months ahead will be the most telling,I really hope they do find themselves as best friends rather than partners in lust, but if they don't that they have the courage to realise when something isn't ever going to work.
Like you said, then it becomes a very difficult choice.

That to me has always been the greatest hurdle to it working out. Not the publicity or the sharpie stuff or the things he's said, but the fact it's never been really "real"
I've seen relationships like that on vacations and you hear about them Dr Phil etc, The massive explosion of "love/ lust" in a surreal environment, where your actions aren't regulated by your normal life. Dull secretaries (nothing against them , just as a stereotype) who are suddenly bikini clad party girls on a cruise, or dull labourer guys who splash money about and have a fabulous holiday romance, as they are so perfect for each other and so much in love, who get back to their normal jobs and homes in their normal towns with all the dull daily responsibilities, back to their normal personalities and look at the other person and say "Who the fuck are you?"

I understand exactly what you are talking about. I dated a guy in the Air Force for 5 years, and I only saw him about every 3 months or so for 3-4 days, so it was like mini-vacations. He was in a band for the AF that travelled all over the world, so I would meet up with him in various cities. Because we only saw each other in these enviroments, (we talked on the phone a lot and mailed tons of letters as well) it was always hot and heavy when we would see each other. But I KNEW that we would never make it in a real life situation.
I loved him, I really did. And a part of me still does. And I don't regret the time I spent with him. But I am glad it never went beyond what it did.

It is still the Christmas season, and I think we all derserve a few days of drama-free kindness. We may not all agree with each other, we may not like how some people choose to handle their lives, but sometimes, you have to just let go for a moment and enjoy the good things life has brought all of us.

Well anon if you hadn't notice Kapu seem to be of the same opinion as the anons. It just she felt they were trying to act as if they were people who had insider info.
And furthermore she didn't tell them not to speak. She just put what she felt was going on out in the open.

Mayo was the one on the grassy knoll with the high-powered rifle, on orders from the CIA. Got too close to the truth.
SS, well, rumor has it he was seen leaving Marilyn Monroe's house at 2a.m. with a doctor's bag and a used syringe hanging out of it, also on orders from the CIA and the White House. She was going to tell all in a press conference.
And both Mayo and SS were seen leaving Giants Stadium shortly after Jimmy Hoffa disappeared, covered in mud and dragging two shovels and some empty lime bags. Not sure on whose orders.
So, they cannot be the same person due to the Hoffa incident.
