Sorry, I missed you yet again. I thought I was an insomniac...but this bunch in here has me beat by huge margin. Actually, I would have probably stayed awake had I been by myself, but you know how it is.
So on with my comment on your post, you already know how much I cherish you and this place. That's a given. I have said it at least 10 times if not 100. I know what you mean about giving thanks and meaning it...really you do, but, and there is always a but...you haven't really allowed yourself to dig much deeper, have you? Or maybe, there is something you want to change and you are scared to say it because you feel guilty for even bringing it up...for even thinking about it. Or maybe, it's just me, babbling my little heart away. Again. I am glad you are finding what you need here. We all are. But don't sell yourself so short, sometimes the answers really do lie within. It just takes a fierce shaking from others to make them rattle to the surface. Believe me, I know.
Balance....whew. That's a tough one. Especially with people like us, moods swing like the temperature in south Georgia. See, like right now it's actually chilly enough in my house to run a heater, but by this afternoon I might need the a/c. I would love a whole year's supply of balance and clarity. Imagine all the greatness I could accomplish. Oh well, I will be more than thankful for those fleeting moments when it comes and goes. Makes my life (seem) that much more clear and balanced.

On second read, that second paragraph sounds more like an appeal to someone who's not there right now, who you value as a friend and advice-giver. This person, I'd wager, is your biggest supporter. You "can't escape the boundaries defined by custon"? Traditions? Expectations? Conventions? Why do what others want you to do, when you're clearly not happy playing by their rules?

If I'm right about a few circumstances, then what I can tell you for sure might help you out a lot. It might also just blow this whole goddamn thing wide open. Remember you hinted at that once?
