Yes, I think so. My neice and her family are staying in a hotel for now and are doing ok. We are just thankful that they all got out. You can replace things, but you can never replace a person!
The house was a log cabin, so it went up pretty quick. The fire dept. thinks a short in a space heater caused the fire. The family went out the bedroom window and Crystal's husband went back in to get their cat and a few pictures and clothes and anything else he could salvage before it became too dangerous.
My sister, her mother, lives next door to them, so it was pretty traumatic for her, but we are just all thankful they are alive.

My cousin is adopting a baby and it's been like two years since she and her husband have started the process. It's down to a few weeks now. ^_^ So this is a really exciting time. They've been trying to have a baby for about 15 years but a few years ago they found out that neither of them could. Anyway, they want me to be god(dess)mother, so I'll have two god(dess)children! They live right across the street so I get to see them (and the baby, when he gets here!) all the time!
The whole adoption process pisses me off. You know what held this up for so long? Frigging Homeland Security. They have to clear a toddler to come into the country. Because god knows what weapons of mass destruction he could be smuggling in his didey.
But I'm not going to get mad about it, not tonight! I'm just going to be happy that he'll be here soon. ^_^

what i did was save the picture, and then in my graphics program started mucking about with ilters and such-like.
i changed the color depth to 16 colors, and could see the shapes much clearer, and then tried blurring to reduce the distraction of the dots.
i've tried some other things too.

By removing all but the last 2 bits of each color component, an almost completely black image results. Making the resulting image 85 times brighter results in the image.

when i first saw the picture, i noticed some sort of interference when i scrolled up and down, and it looked like something. that's what made me take it to my graphics program.
by applying a few filters, i was able to pull out something, but it's still too indistinct. what it seems like is maybe a person holding up their hand.
it's intriguing enought to keep playing around with, no matter what the orginial intent o the picture was!

I have a story to tell you guys about one of my parent's cats.
Harri, (Pawter), a girl cat who has a white, almost lightning bolt shaped stripe on her forehead (hence the name) got into an empty square soft drink box that was open at the top and side and stuck her head out one end and her back legs and tail out the other.
The box was on it's side, and gold colored, so it looked almost like she was wearing a square dress, and looked quite the picture.
I told J. that Harri had a look of "don't I look pretty lying on the floor, in the best damn dress I own!"
